Get PDFThis is the 59th issue of the journal Anales de la Cátedra Francisco Suárez. It is also the third and last issue for the moment for which I have been responsible as editor. With these issues we have tried to offer a journey through current issues and problems through the reflections and analysis of researchers on national and international legal thought. This has made it possible to bring together a wide variety of theoretical frameworks, methodologies of knowledge and approaches to specific legal systems.
El número que aquí se presenta constituye el 59 de la revista Anales de la Cátedra Francisco Suárez. Es también el tercero y último por el momento de los que he sido responsable como editora. Tres poetas “escondidas” en el oasis porteño de Juan Ramón Jiménez
Get PDFThe aim of this paper is to recover the figures and works of three women writers who were selected by Juan Ramón Jiménez in the “Hidden Poetry” project, the anthology of poems by authors from Argentina and Uruguay that he devised on his trip to these countries, in 1948, and which was never published. We will focus on the influence of the poetics of the Spanish bard on the compositions of Helena Muñoz Larreta, Mabel Fernández Chalá and Sara Reboul, reviewing the context of Argentine poetry of the 1940s and drawing brief sketches of the subsequent trajectories that the three developed.El objetivo del presente trabajo es recuperar las figuras y obras de tres escritoras que fueron seleccionadas por Juan Ramón Jiménez en el proyecto de “Poesía escondida”, la antología de poemas de autores/as de Argentina y Uruguay que ideó en su viaje a estos países, en 1948, y que nunca fue publicada. Haremos foco en la influencia de la poética del bardo español en las composiciones de Helena Muñoz Larreta, Mabel Fernández Chalá y Sara Reboul, pasando revista al contexto de la poesía argentina de los 40 y trazando breves esbozos de las trayectorias ulteriores que las tres desarrollaron

“Yo tengo que habitar en tu mente”: El papel de la comunicación digital en los Festivales de Artes Digitales españoles
Get PDFSince the 1990s, Digital Arts Festivals (DAFs) have been one of the most booming cultural formats dedicated to debate and artistic practice around the intersection of science-art-technology, electronic music and emerging aesthetics in the arts. Although DAFs constitute a vital platform for interdisciplinary dialogue between artists, creators, practitioners, academics and the general public, they have barely been analysed. Using a qualitative approach and multisite fieldwork developed between January 2021 and November 2022, based on semi-structured interviews, participant observation and structured documentation, I explore the notion of festivalscape by integrating the communication and digital marketing practices that these festivals undertake. Through three case studies––the Spanish festivals LEV, MIRA and MMMAD––I expose how these festivals communicate, by analyzing how these practices determine the configuration of identity and authenticity, and how they affect the working rhythms and careers of professionals and creators in the sector.Desde los años 90, los Festivales de Artes Digitales (DAF) son uno de los formatos culturales más en auge dedicados al debate y la práctica artística en torno a la intersección ciencia-arte-tecnología, la música electrónica y las estéticas emergentes en las artes. A pesar de que los DAFs constituyen una plataforma vital para el diálogo interdisciplinar entre artistas, creativos, profesionales, académicos y público en general, se han analizado mínimamente. A partir de una metodología cualitativa y un trabajo de campo multisituado, desarrollado entre enero de 2021 y noviembre de 2022, basado en entrevistas semi-estructuradas, observación participante y documentación estructurada, expando la noción de festivalscape, integrando las prácticas en materia de comunicación y marketing digital que dichos festivales llevan a cabo. A través de tres casos de estudio ––los festivales españoles LEV, MIRA y MMMAD––, expongo cómo comunican estos festivales, analizando de qué manera dichas prácticas determinan la configuración de identidad y autenticidad y cómo afectan a los ritmos de trabajo y a las carreras de los profesionales y creativos del sector

Get PDFThis text outlines a situational framework that allows for the future development of a philosophy of cooking, addressing the meanings already associated with cooking and food, the contemporary social and culinary landscape, and the ethical perspective that may be adopted. To this end, the text begins with a distinction between philosophies of cooking and food, setting itself apart from the more prevalent aesthetic-artistic discourse surrounding food. The analysis of certain food metaphors sheds light on the current consumption paradigm, positioning cooking as a privileged space from which to propose a change in our relationship with the world, as delineated by Everyday Aesthetics. This text paves the way for a study of culinary action that, grounded in its material necessity, could serve as a guide toward a more meaningful existence and, simultaneously, could give rise to an ethical framework capable of addressing the consumerist paradigm by exploring the path between consuming and nourishing.Este texto ofrece una puesta en situación que permite visionar el futuro desarrollo de una filosofía de la cocina, tratando los significados ya asociados a la cocina y la comida, el contexto social y culinario actual y la perspectiva ética susceptible de ser adoptada. Para ello, el texto inicia con una distinción entre filosofías de la cocina y la comida, distinguiéndose del discurso estético-artístico más extendido en torno a la comida. El análisis de algunas metáforas alimentarias da cuenta del paradigma de consumo actual, y su diagnóstico sitúa la cocina como un lugar privilegiado desde el que proponer un cambio en nuestra relación con el mundo, delimitado a partir de la Estética Cotidiana. El texto abre la puerta a un estudio de la acción culinaria que, partiendo de su carácter de necesidad material, podría ser una guía hacia una vida más enriquecedora y, al mismo tiempo, suponer el germen de una ética capaz de hacer frente al paradigma consumista explorando el camino entre el devorar y el dar de comer

Get PDFFor years, we have dedicated ourselves to interviewing individuals engaged in the craft of knife-making. As we traveled to diverse regions for other projects, we persistently sought out someone who practiced this trade. At the time, our only aim was to listen extensively to how they experience such an intimate relationship with the manufacture of this object. The knife as an extension of our body. An intrinsic physicality emerges in the union of movements facilitated by a tool that, much like our bodies, evolves in form and function over the course of its life.Durante años nos hemos dedicado a entrevistar a personas que se dedican a la elaboración de cuchillos. Íbamos a geografías diversas por otros trabajos, y buscábamos de manera insistente alguien que se dedicara a este oficio. En ese momento no había más objetivo que escuchar largo y tendido cómo es eso de relacionarse de manera tan estrecha con la manufactura de este objeto. El cuchillo como extensión de nuestro cuerpo. Fisicalidad intrínseca en la unión de movimientos a través de una herramienta que, al igual que nuestros cuerpos, cambia de forma y función a lo largo de su vida.
Fables pour l'empathie animale. De La Fontaine à Julián Chave y Castilla
Get PDFThis article undertakes an analysis and an attempt at a theoretical classification of some fables (mainly Spanish fables) from the 18th and 19th centuries in which there can be found affective attitudes toward certain non-human animals, lessons about their protection and care, or testimonies and complaints about the abuse and ingratitude of human beings. This study is carried out from the perspective of Animal Studies, whose researchers have often disregarded the fabulistic genre. Despite the prevailing anthropocentrism at the time, and in this literary genre, we will demonstrate that some fables, both ancient and modern, reveal useful elements for literary criticism based on the purposes of Animal Studies. These fables—few in number, even though their presence can be attested in the production of different authors—are relevant to Animal Studies and should continue to be located and commented on in future research.El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en llevar a cabo un análisis y una tentativa de clasificación teórica de algunas fábulas (principalmente, españolas) de los siglos XVIII y XIX en las que pueden ser percibidas actitudes afectivas hacia ciertos animales no humanos, lecciones sobre su protección y cuidado, o testimonios y denuncias por el abuso y la ingratitud de los seres humanos. Para ello partiremos de la perspectiva de los estudios de animales, cuyos investigadores, por norma general, no han apreciado demasiado el género fabulístico. Pese al antropocentrismo reinante en la época y en este género literario, demostraremos que algunas fábulas, tanto antiguas como modernas, revelan elementos útiles para una crítica literaria acorde con los postulados de los estudios de animales. Estas fábulas —poco abundantes en número, por más que su presencia pueda atestiguarse en la producción de distintos autores— poseen relevancia para los estudios de animales y deberán seguir siendo localizadas y comentadas en investigaciones futuras.L'objectif de cet article est de réaliser une analyse et une tentative de classification théorique de quelques fables (principalement espagnoles) des XVIIIe et XIXe siècles dans lesquelles peuvent être perçues des attitudes affectives envers certains animaux non humains, des enseignements sur leur protection et soins, ou témoignages et plaintes sur l'abus et l'ingratitude d'êtres humains. Pour ce faire, nous partirons du point de vue des études animales, dont les chercheurs, en générale, n'ont pas trop apprécié le genre fabulistique. Malgré l'anthropocentrisme qui prévalait à l'époque et dans ce genre littéraire, nous montrerons que certaines fables, aussi bien anciennes que modernes, révèlent des éléments utiles pour une critique littéraire en accord avec les postulats des études animales. Ces fables — peu abondantes en nombre, même si leur présence peut être attestée dans la production de différents auteurs — sont pertinentes pour les études animales et devraient continuer à être localisées et commentées dans les recherches futures
