The Effects of the Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at PT. Alwi Assegaf Palembang
No full textThis study aimed to examine and analyze the effects of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on the performance of employees with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Alwi Assegaf Palembang. The number of respondents was 51 people. The data were collected using a questionnaire method with a Likert scale. They were examined and analyzed using the Smart-partial least square. Furthermore, the intrinsic motivation variable showed a significant positive influence on employee performance, but the extrinsic motivation variable did not have a significant influence on the performance of the employees. Job satisfaction was not an intervening influence between intrinsic motivation and employee performance and between extrinsic motivation and employee performance. The results showed that intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation had a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction. The effect of the intrinsic motivation on the performance was significantly positive, while the extrinsic motivation was not significantly positive on the performance. In this study, job satisfaction was not an intervening variable between the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations on the performance.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variable intervening pada PT. Alwi Assegaf Palembang. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 51 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuisioner berupa pertanyaan dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan smart-partial least square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsic dan motivasi ekstrinsik berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Pengaruh motivasi intrinsik terhadap kinerja adalah positif signifikan, sedangkan motivasi ekstrinsik menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja. Kepuasan kerja bukan merupakan variabel intervening antara motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja dalam penelitian ini.

IDENTIFIKASI LAJU EROSI DAN LAJU SEDIMENTASI PADA WADUK WONOSARI KABUPATEN BENGKALIS
Get PDFGenerally, people who live in island areas depend on the management of water resources, such as the distribution of raw water from reservoirs. Bengkalis Regency is an island area and has a Wonosari reservoir which functions as a source of raw water for the people. Often, there is drought or lack of water supply to the people during the summer. One of the factors indicating the cause is the reduced volume of water storage in the reservoir due to sedimentation which can be calculated using the equations of erosion rate and sedimentation rate. The method used is the explorative-survey which obtains supporting data from direct field surveys and spatial, environmental and territorial approaches. The results for this study proved that sedimentation in the reservoir did not significantly affect the occurrence of water shortages which caused water needs to be not fulfilled in the community. The rates of erosion and sedimentation rates are 5.415 ton/ha/yr and 0.164 ton/ha/yr (very light erosion hazard category)

Get PDFThis study aims to determine how big the influence of gadget addiction on the behavior of class VIII students at Mts Ma\u27Ariful Ulum Talang Keramat Banyuasin. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is an influence between gadget addiction on the behavior of class VIII students at Mts Ma\u27Ariful Ulum Talang Keramat Banyuasin. The population in this study was all students of class VIII as many as 110 students, the subjects of this study were 55 students and random sampling technique. Collecting data using addiction and behavior scales, data processing techniques using SPSS. The results of the regression analysis showed R square = 0.277, F = 20.286 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05) with N = 55 and an rtable of 0.266. This shows that addiction has an influence on behavior. Thus, the hypothesis of this study can be accepted that the contribution of addiction to behavior is 27.7%

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and juvenile delinquency in street children. This research was conducted in the city of Salatiga with the number of respondents as many as 34 teenagers with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sampling technique used is the technique Accidental Sampling. The results found in this study are the relationship between self-concept and juvenile delinquency in street children with a value obtained of -0.572 with a sig of 0.000. With this, that juvenile delinquency in street children is not a stand-alone situation but is a combination of several conditions experienced by street children, if a street child does not get direction from their parents and education, then delinquency in street children is a unavoidable problem
Pelatihan Media Pembelajaran Online Berbasis Game pada Guru SDK Frater Xaverius 2 Palembang
Get PDFPengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh tim dari Universitas Katolik Musi Charitas berlangsung di tempat mitra pengabdian yaitu SDK Frater Xaverius 2 Palembang. Temanya adalah pelatihan media pembelajaran berbasis game dengan menggunakan wordwall. Tujuan pengabdian untuk membantu para guru dalam memahami teori dan praktik penggunaan Wordwall serta memberikan model pembelajaran baru yang lebih menarik untuk para siswa karena berbasis game pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah penjelasan materi dari tutor/pemateri. Pemateri menyampaikan konsep secara teori mengenai wordwall dan setelahnya, dilanjutkan di hari berikutnya untuk penjelasan secara praktik. Penjelasan teori dilakukan dengan menggunakan slide ppt dari pemateri sedangkan penjelasan praktik dilakukan dengan langsung mendemokan langkah-langkah penggunaan wordwall secara detail. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah para guru mengetahui model pembelajaran berbasis game yang baru dan para guru juga sudah bisa membuat game sendiri dari aplikasi wordwall tersebut. Hal tersebut terlihat dari hasil pre-test sebelum kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan, terdapat 96% guru yang belum mengetahui teori dan praktik penggunaan wordwall. Sedangkan untuk hasil post-test setelah kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan, sudah terdapat 100% guru yang sudah mengetahui teori dan praktik penggunaan wordwall. Dampak dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terjalinnya kerjasama antara tim pengabdian dan mitra pengabdian, selain itu juga tim pengabdian dapat mempromosikan kampus ke sekolah-sekolah
THE THE EFFECT OF JOINING ENGLISH COURSE PROGRAM TO ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ ENGLISH VOCABULARY MASTERY
No full textAbstract: This study aimed to discover the effect of students’ participation in English course program on their English vocabulary mastery. The population of this study was the eleventh grade of SMA Pusri Palembang. In determining the sample, the researcher used purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was 50 students. The students were defined as students who take English course program and those who do not. In collecting the data, the researcher used mixed-method approach. The English vocabulary mastery test and questionnaire were provided to gain the data. The test was a multiple-choice form. The instruments were analyzed statistically with SPSS 24. The result of the test by conducting Mann Whitney test showed that there was a significant difference of English vocabulary mastery between both groups of students. The result of the questionnaire showed that there were any effects of participating English course program on students’ English vocabulary mastery.
