Peran Guru Terhadap Kesulitan Belajar Siswa dalam Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Tematik di SD Negeri Siluk Bantul
This research aims to describe the role of teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties in thematic learning at Silu Elementary School, students' learning difficulties experienced during thematic learning and teacher management in solving problems. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. With data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The informants for this research were school principals and class teachers related to thematic learning. Analyze the data using triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on the role of teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties in thematic learning at Siluk Elementary School are (1) the causes of learning difficulties are lack of concentration and difficulty in remembering thematic learning material for a long time, (2) thematic learning as a learning model in elementary schools has various characteristics or characteristics. typical, namely students as the center of learning or what is often called (Student Centered education), learning is flexible, learning is comprehensive or holistic and meaningful, learning is tailored to students' interests and needs, provides direct experience, requires students to be active and eliminates dividing boundaries between subjects, and (3) The teacher's role in overcoming learning difficulties in thematic learning is as a facilitator whose task is to provide guidance and training to students so that changes occur
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD silu, kesulitan belajar siswa yang dialami saat pembelajaran tematik dan management guru dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi berperan serta, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Yang menjadi informan penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru kelas yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran tematik. Analisis datanya dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Analisis datanya menggunakan redusksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD siluk adalah (1) penyebab kesulitan belajar kurangnya berkonsentrasi dan mudah lama dalam mengingat materi pembelajaran tematik, (2) pembelajaran tematik sebagai suatu model pembelajaran di sekolah dasar memiliki berbagai karakteristik atau ciri khas, yaitu siswa sebagai pusat pembelajaran atau yang sering disebut (Student Centered Education), pembelajaran bersifat fleksibel, pembelajaran bersifat menyeluruh atau holistic dan bermakna, pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan minat dan kebutuhan siswa, memberikan pengalaman langsung, menuntut siswa untuk aktif dan menghilangkan batas pemisah antar mata pelajaran, dan (3) Peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar pembelajaran tematik adalah sebagai fasilitator yang bertugas membarikan bimbingan dan pelatihan kepada murid agar ada perubahan.
Pemanfaatan Teknologi AI untuk Menyediakan Bahan Bacaan dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Literasi Digital Siswa di SMP Bina Muda Panggang
Students' digital literacy is a crucial 21st-century skill that goes beyond basic reading abilities, encompassing analytical, critical, and reflective comprehension. This study aims to explore the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in providing reading materials to enhance the digital literacy of students at SMP Bina Muda Panggang. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive design, involving 44 students and 10 teachers from July 22, 2024, to August 9, 2024. The findings reveal that AI-generated reading materials are more relevant and effective compared to conventional methods, with 85% of students completing the reading within 15 minutes, and 95% of students expressing that AI-based reading materials are more engaging. The study concludes that the use of AI can effectively enhance students' digital literacy and recommends the development of AI-based literacy programs and teacher training.Literasi digital siswa merupakan keterampilan penting pada abad ke-21 yang melampaui kemampuan membaca dasar, mencakup pemahaman analitis, kritis, dan reflektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk menyediakan bahan bacaan dalam upaya meningkatkan literasi digital siswa di SMP Bina Muda Panggang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, melibatkan 44 siswa dan 10 guru dari 22 Juli 2024 hingga 9 Agustus 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan bacaan yang dihasilkan AI lebih relevan dan efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional, dengan 85% siswa menyelesaikan bacaan dalam waktu 15 menit dan 95% siswa menyatakan bahwa bahan bacaan AI lebih menarik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan AI dapat secara efektif meningkatkan literasi digital siswa dan merekomendasikan pengembangan program literasi berbasis AI serta pelatihan untuk guru
Efektivitas DAK Fisik Pendidikan dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar
The Special Allocation Fund for Physical Education (DAK Fisik Pendidikan) is used to develop and finance educational facilities and infrastructure in the regions to improve the quality of education. However, there is currently no relevant evidence to show that DAK Fisik Pendidikan can enhance the quality of education. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of DAK Fisik Pendidikan on the quality of education with the parameters of learning quality, literacy, and numeracy. The study uses secondary data from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in 2022 related to data on DAK Fisik Pendidikan, the condition of facilities and infrastructure, and education quality parameters. The data was then analyzed statistically. The results showed that the data did not have a normal distribution so non-parametric tests were conducted. DAK Physical Education has a weak correlation to improving the quality of educational facilities and infrastructure, in this case, the quality of classrooms and library space with a correlation value of r = 0.214. Both the quality of classrooms and library space show a weak correlation with the quality of student learning, literacy and numeracy. The quality of learning has a positive correlation with literacy and numeracy with coefficient values of 0.46 and 0.50 respectively. These findings show that the DAK fisik Pendidikan has little effect on improving the quality of education. This suggests that other factors have a greater influence than the provision of quality educational facilities and infrastructure.Dana Alokasi Khusus Fisik bidang Pendidikan (DAK Fisik Pendidikan) digunakan untuk pembangunan dan pembiayaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan yang terdapat di daerah dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Akan tetapi, saat ini masih belum ada bukti relevan yang menunjukan bahwa DAK Fisik Pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas DAK Fisik Pendidikan terhadap kualitas pendidikan dengan parameter kualitas pembelajaran, literasi, dan numerasi. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Ristek, dan Teknologi pada tahun 2022 terkait data DAK Fisik Pendidikan, kondisi sarana dan prasarana, serta parameter kualitas pendidikan. Data kemudian dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil menunjukan bahwa data tidak memiliki distribusi normal sehingga dilakukan uji non parametrik. DAK Fisik Pendidikan memiliki korelasi lemah terhadap peningkatan kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam hal ini adalah kualitas ruang kelas dan ruang perpustakaan dengan nilai korelasi r = 0,214. Baik kualitas ruang kelas dan ruang perpustakaan menunjukan korelasi yang lemah juga terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, literasi, dan numerasi siswa. Sedangkan kualitas pembelajaran memiliki korelasi positif terhadap literasi dan numerasi dengan nilai koefesien berturut-turut 0,46 dan 0,50. Hasil temuan ini menunjukan bahwa DAK Fisik Pendidikan memiliki pengaruh dengan korelasi kecil terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Hal ini menunjukan adanya faktor lain yang memberikan pengaruh lebih besar dibandingkan penyediaan kualitas sarana dan prasarana pendidikan
Konflik Undang-undang Perlindungan Anak dan Penegakan Disiplin Sekolah: Studi Kualitatif di SMA N 1 Kembang Jepara
The enforcement of discipline at school environment is important to create a condusive learning atmosphere. Howeverit sometimes faces child protection regulation poin 35 of 2014 about child’s protection. This study aims to examine the conflict appear between the implementation of disciplinary enforcement by the school and the legal limitations ruled in the child protection law, especially in SMA N 1 Kembang Jepara. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques and interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The result of the study showed there is dilemma faced by teachers and school stake holders in deciding strict action for students who break the rules for there is consideration of violating the children rights. This conflict appears because of lack of balanced understanding between legal protection for children and need for discipline in the education. The study recommends the need for special training for educators regarding legal limitations in enforcing discipline. As well as the importance of preparing national standart procedures (SOP)for discipline that are in line with statutory regulations. Effective communication could be done by the stake holders to minimize the different perception that triggers the emerged conflict.Penegakan kedisiplinan di lingkungan sekolah merupakan hal penting dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Namun di sisi lain terkadang berhadapan dengan regulasi perlindungan anak yang diatur dalam Undang-undang Nomor 35 tahun 2014 tentang Perlindungan Anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji bentuk konflik yang muncul antara pelaksanaan penegakan disiplin oleh pihak sekolah dengan batasan-batasan hukum yang ditetapkan dalam undang-undang perlindungan anak, khususnya SMA Negeri 1 Kembang Jepara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dilemma yang dihadapi guru dan pihak sekolah dalam mengambil tindakan tegas terhadap siswa yang melanggar aturan, karena khawatir dianggap melanggar hak-hak anak. Konflik ini muncul akibat kurangnya pemahaman yang seimbang antara perlindungan hukum terhadap anak dan kebutuhan akan kedisiplinan dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan khusus bagi tenaga pendidik mengenai batasan hukum dan penegakan disiplin, serta pentingnya penyusunan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) disiplin yang selaras dengan peraturan undang-undang. Komunikasi efektif dapat dilakukan oleh para pemangku kepentingan untuk meminimalisir perbedaan persepsi yang memicu timbulnya konflik
Pengembangan E-Book Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Flipbooks dengan Model Waterfall di Mts Al-Mumtaz Palangka Raya
Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini untuk merancang e-book pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Flipbooks dengan menerapkan model pengembangan waterfall di MTs Al-Mumtaz. Metode Research and Development (R&D) diterapkan melalui lima langkah utama: needs analysis, design, implementation, validation, and maintenance. Media e-book ini dirancang untuk membantu siswa kelas VIII dalam memahami materi dengan lebih efektif dan menarik, terutama melalui integrasi elemen audio, visual, dan navigasi yang interaktif. Fitur-fitur ini memungkinkan siswa tidak hanya membaca, tetapi juga mendengar penjelasan materi, memperkuat pemahaman mereka. Proses pengembangan menggunakan platform Heyzine dan Canva untuk menciptakan tampilan yang menarik dan fungsional. Validasi media dilakukan oleh ahli media dan materi, serta diuji kepada siswa untuk mengukur efektivitas dan kelayakannya. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa e-book pembelajaran ini sangat sesuai digunakan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan respon positif dari siswa. Grammatical Errors on Final Paper Abstracts Composed by Students of Pharmacy Diploma
English has become one of the most important languages used globally. To produce effective sentences in English, EFL learners, such as in Indonesia, must master English grammar. However, the differences of grammar in English and Bahasa cause EFL learners to often produce grammar errors. Even though technology is increasingly developing and translator machines can assist students in writing English, grammar errors are still found. This research aims to investigate grammatical errors produced by Pharmacy Diploma students on their final paper abstracts. This research is a descriptive study. Data was obtained from 30 final paper abstracts of students of Pharmacy Diploma at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (STIKES) Nasional. The abstracts were taken randomly from the library of STIKES Nasional. Data was analyzed using Surface Structure Taxonomy by Dulay, Burt, and Krashen. The results of the analysis discovered 154 grammar errors. The dominant errors were Omissions with the number of errors is 54 errors (35,1%), followed by 44 errors of Additional (28,6%), 42 errors of Misformation (27,3%), and lastly, 14 errors of Misordering (9,1%). The results of this research imply that teachers and institutions need to prepare learning materials that can minimize errors made by students in the futur
Non-English Department Students’ Perceptions of the Use of Machine Translation in Learning English
This current study aims to investigate how non-English department students use Machine Translation (MT) to learn English and to explore the students’ perceptions of using MT to learn English. This study employed mixed methods to obtain the data by distributing online questionnaires and interviews. Involving 80 non-English department students throughout Indonesia as the participants, this study found that students use MT to translate texts from Indonesian to English and vice versa, look up the meanings of English vocabulary, phrases, and sentences, and learn how to spell and pronounce unfamiliar words. The findings also showed that the students perceived the use of MT positively, highlighting that MT is relatively easy to use, MT enhance their language learning skills, and MT has positive effects on their language learning process. The findings provide implications and future research
The Role of Private Elementary School Principals In Yogyakarta In Implementing Teaching English For Young Learners
Previous research has shown that school principals play a crucial role in supporting the success of English language teaching for young learners (TEYL) within the context of English as a second language (ESL). However, there has been limited research focusing on the role of principals in supporting the success of TEYL in the context of English as a foreign language (EFL). Therefore, the objective of this study is to describe the role of private elementary school principals in Yogyakarta in the implementation of TEYL.
This study is a case study conducted in two private elementary schools (ES) in Yogyakarta that have achievements in the field of English language education. The subjects of this study include the school principals, curriculum coordinators, English teachers, and staff members of ES A and B. The research instruments were developed based on the Principals’ Work Manual (Directorate of Educational Personnel Development for Elementary and Secondary Education, 2017) and were used to collect data through interviews and observations. The data analysis technique to be used in this research referred to Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014). The activities in data analysis are data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification.
The findings indicate that the role of private elementary school principals in Yogyakarta in supporting TEYL encompasses several aspects. The aspects are curriculum implementation, student development, teacher professional development and involvement of educational staff, provision of infrastructure, fostering a positive academic culture and atmosphere, enhancing parental and community participation, and organizing additional programs aimed at improving the quality of teaching. The implications of this study suggest that school principals hold a strategic position in assisting teachers to optimize TEYL. Further research could explore the development of training programs for principals to support TEYL within the context of EFL.

Analysis of Student Difficulties in Learning English Grammar in Junior High School Tunas Baru Jinseung
This study investigates the difficulties faced by students in learning English grammar at Tunas Baru Jinseung Junior High School, driven by concerns over consistently low grammar performance despite years of formal instruction. English grammar plays a central role in language acquisition, yet students often struggle with core aspects such as tenses, articles, and prepositions structures that differ significantly from those in Bahasa Indonesia. The aim of this study is to identify grammar-related challenges, analyze the contributing linguistic and psychological factors, and evaluate the influence of teaching strategies. The research addresses three main questions: the specific grammar difficulties students face, factors influencing these challenges, and the role of teaching methods in student grammar comprehension and performance. A qualitative method was applied, using purposive sampling to select six students and two English teachers involved in grammar learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and classroom observations over two months. Interviews provided in-depth perspectives from participants, while observations allowed the researcher to examine classroom practices and student engagement in real-time. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify recurring issues and barriers in grammar learning. The results indicate that structural differences between English and Bahasa Indonesia, coupled with teacher-centered methods relying heavily on memorization, hinder students' ability to grasp and apply grammar effectively. Psychological factors such as anxiety and low motivation further contribute to these difficulties. The study highlights the need for more communicative and task-based teaching approaches, emphasizing practical use of grammar in meaningful contexts. A supportive learning environment is also essential to foster motivation and reduce anxiety
PERAN TATA KELOLA PERUSAHAAN SEBAGAI PEMODERASI GREEN ACCOUNTING, KINERJA LINGKUNGAN DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN
Environmental damage is often caused by nature, besides it can also be due to human intervention such as industrial activities that often neglect the impact on the surrounding environment. The aim of this research is to identify and analyse how corporate governance affects corporate performance, environmental performance, and size of the company. Thro 2019-2022, there were 143 samples of companies in the sub-sector of food and food materials sales, baverage, and process food. In this study, the double linear regression analysis was performed using the SPSS program version 25. There were 39 companies that met the criteria for the research, so sampling was selected purposively. Analysis results show that green accounting does not have a significant impact on corporate performance; however, corporate size and environmental performance have a positive and significant effect on financial performance; and corporate governance has the capacity to improve environmental accounting, and the size of an enterprise on its performance.Kerusakan lingkungan sering terjadi yang disebabkan oleh alam, selain itu juga dapat disebabkan oleh campur tangan manusia seperti kegiatan industri yang seringkali mengabaikan dampak bagi ingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis bagaimana tata kelola perusahaan mempengaruhi kinerja keungan, kinerja lingkungan, dan ukuran perusahaan. Sepanjang tahun 2019–2022, terdapat 143 sampel perusahaan dalam subsektor penjualan makanan dan bahan makanan, baverage, dan makanan proses. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis regresi linier berganda dilakukan menggunakan program SPSS versi 25. Terdapat 39 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria untuk penelitian, sehingga sampling dipilih secara purposive.
