Development of teaching materials for trigonometric function graphs based on ICT and Tri-N for face-to-face and distance learning
The objectives of this research are to produce Tri-N and ICT-based teaching materials suitable for Face-to-Face Learning (FFL), create ICT and Tri-N-based teaching materials tailored for Distance Learning (DL), and evaluate the effectiveness and applicability of these materials across FFL and DL settings. The study contributes to academic discourse by demonstrating the efficacy of Tri-N and ICT-based teaching materials in enhancing mathematics instruction, particularly in the topic of Trigonometric Function Graphs. Using the ADDIE paradigm, which includes the phases of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, the study employs the Research and Development (R&D) approach. The participants of the study consist of 36 Class X MIPA-2 students engaged in FFL and 36 Class X MIPA-1 students participating in DL at SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. Learning outcomes evaluations, validation questionnaires, and answer questionnaires are some of the data collection techniques. To guarantee thorough review, the analysis combines qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The study's outcomes include the development of ICT and Tri-N-based teaching materials, such as learning videos, PowerPoint presentations, and handouts, with a primary focus on Trigonometric Function Graphs. These materials are made accessible through YouTube, with the link provided for broader dissemination. Expert assessments indicate high validity of the teaching materials, and student responses reflect positive reception and favorable average scores. The findings underscore the potential of these materials to enhance mathematics instruction in high school settings. It is recommended that educators integrate these resources into their teaching practices. Future research should investigate the application of ICT and Tri-N-based teaching materials across a broader range of subjects to further expand their impact on educational practices
Analysis of the influence of the existence of national exams, school origin, and tutoring on mathematics motivation using decision tree
Mathematics is essential as it forms the foundation for sciences applied in the real world. Students' success in learning mathematics is crucial and must be prioritized. To understand and excel in mathematics, diligent study is required. Students who study diligently are often motivated by external factors such as outcomes, targets, environment, and teachers. Enthusiasm serves as the driving force that fosters the desire to learn effectively. Thus, motivation is a critical and consistent factor that encourages students to study diligently, ultimately improving their mathematics learning outcomes. This study examines the influence of school origin, national exams (UN), and tutoring on students' motivation to learn mathematics. The research involves a preliminary study, data collection, and analysis using a decision tree with the help of the Orange application. The results indicate that high motivation levels are more common among students attending public schools and those influenced by the presence of national exams. The findings of this study should be utilized by the government to enhance students' learning motivation and significantly improve mathematics learning outcomes. The study suggests targeted actions, including equitable resource allocation, alternative evaluation systems, teacher training, and enhanced counseling services, to effectively boost students' learning motivation and improve the overall quality of education. This research contributes by providing empirical evidence on the factors influencing students' motivation to learn mathematics, offering insights that can inform policies and interventions aimed at fostering a more effective and engaging learning environment
Development of design thinking-based mathematics learning media to enhance mathematical critical thinking skills
This research aims to develop an Android-based learning media application using MIT App Inventor to enhance students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the design thinking method, consisting of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. During the empathize phase, in-depth interviews were conducted with five personas to identify existing issues, which were then summarized into an empathy map. In the define stage, data were analyzed using the How Might We technique to frame actionable problems. The ideate stage involved brainstorming solutions through mind mapping, followed by prototyping the application design based on the identified needs. In the testing phase, the application was evaluated for effectiveness (measured by success rate), efficiency (time-based metrics), and user satisfaction (via the System Usability Scale). Data were collected through questionnaires to assess the application’s viability, efficiency, and alignment with user needs. After completing the design thinking process, a critical thinking competency test was administered to compare learning outcomes on three-variable linear equations before and after using the media. Post-intervention results revealed above-average scores, demonstrating the application’s positive impact on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. This study contributes to innovative learning media development in mathematics education, offering a simple, interactive, and accessible tool adaptable to individual learning needs
Penerapan Instrumen Evaluasi Kognitif Berbasis HOTS dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik pada Materi Fikih
The implementation of cognitive evaluation of fikih learning seen in the field shows a mismatch between learning objectives and assessment of learning outcomes. Currently, fikih learning is directed to improve students' HOTS-level critical thinking skills in understanding SKI materials. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of knowing the concept of HOTS-based cognitive evaluation in fikih materials and the implementation of HOTS-based cognitive evaluation with the improvement of students' thinking skills. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the implementation of HOTS-based cognitive evaluation in improving students' analytical critical thinking skills. Data collection used observation and interview methods. Data analysis techniques using the Milles and Huberman model include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the concept of HOTS-based cognitive evaluation in fikih materials includes analysis of learning outcomes, preparation of question grids, making test questions and assessment rubrics, covering cognitive aspects of analyzing, evaluating and creating, so that in its implementation the implementation of HOTS-based cognitive evaluation can improve critical thinking skills and mastery of fikih materials by students well
Persepsi Siswa terhadap Pembelajaran Matematika dan Kaitannya dengan Minat Serta Sikap Belajar Siswa
This study aims to describe the perceptions of class X students of Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) towards mathematics learning and its impact on students' learning interests and attitudes. The study was conducted at one of the vocational schools in Yogyakarta with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data were collected using triangulation techniques through observation, open questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. The results showed that most students had negative perceptions of mathematics, which were considered difficult, confusing, and irrelevant to life or work in the automotive field. This perception resulted in low interest and negative attitudes such as indifference, passivity, and lack of enthusiasm. However, there were students who showed positive attitudes when the material presented was considered relevant and easy to understand. These findings indicate a close relationship between students' perceptions, interests, and attitudes towards mathematics learning. Therefore, it is important for educators to design learning strategies that are more contextual, applicable, and in accordance with the world of work in order to form positive perceptions of mathematics
Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis PBL-SSI Aktivitas Penambangan Pasir di Sungai Progo untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains
The purpose of this research is to produce a worksheet based on the PBL model with the SSI approach of sand mining activity in the Progo river, which is feasible, practical, and effective to improve the scientific literacy ability of high school students on vector material. This study used R&D with the ADDIE model. This research was conducted in April-May of the 2024/2025 school year at SMA N 1 Sewon, involving 32 class X students. This study employed both descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques. The descriptive analysis SBi, Aiken’s V, and N-Gain. Meanwhile, the inferential analysis involved ANOVA testing and effect size calculation. The results indicated that the worksheet was very feasible, practical, and effective in improving students’ scientific literacy with a gain value of 0,65 (moderate improvement) and a significance of 0,037. In addition, worksheet has a significant effect on improving students’ scientific literacy. The implication is that this PBL-SSI model-based worksheet can be developed for other physics materials and become a solution to the demands of 21st-century learning.Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menghasilkan LKPD berbasis model PBL dengan pendekatan SSI aktivitas penambangan pasir di Sungai Progo yang layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik SMA pada materi vektor. Jenis penelitian R&D dengan model ADDIE digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Mei tahun ajaran 2024/2025 di SMA N 1 Sewon dengan melibatkan 32 peserta didik kelas X. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi SBi, indeks validitas Aiken’V, N-Gain, dan uji Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik dengan nilai gain 0,65 dan signifikansi 0,037. Implikasinya, LKPD berbasis model PBL-SSI ini dapat dikembangkan untuk materi fisika lainnya dan menjadi solusi untuk mencapai tuntutan pembelajaran abad 21
Klara Teu Nahak Pengaruh Pemahaman Sanitasi Higiene dan Keselamatan Kerja Terhadap Pelaksanaan Praktikum pastry and Bakery Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Godean Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022: Pemahaman Sanitasi Higiene, Keselamatan Kerja, Pelaksanaan Praktikum
The purpose of the study was to determine: (1) Understanding of sanitary hygiene and work safety, (2) Understanding of the implementation of pastry and bakery practicum, (3) The effect of understanding sanitation hygiene and work safety on the implementation of pastry and bakery practicum. This type of quantitative descriptive research. The research population was 144 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique with the slovin formula of 59 students. Data analysis techniques used descriptive quantitative and hypothesis testing using product moment correlation preceded by prerequisite analysis tests including normality tests and linearity tests. The results showed: (1) Understanding of sanitation hygiene and work safety was in the sufficient category (40.68%), (2) Implementation of pastry and bakery practicum was in the sufficient category (42.37%), (3) There was a positive and significant influence on understanding hygiene sanitation and occupational safety on the implementation of pastry and bakery practicum as indicated by the value of r count = 0.411 > rtable = 0.252 and the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.169 or (16.9%).Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui: (1) Pemahaman sanitasi higiene dan keselamatan kerja, (2) Pemahaman pelaksanaan praktikum pastry and bakery, (3) Pengaruh pemahaman sanitasi higiene dan keselamatan kerja terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum pastry and bakery. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 144 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan rumus slovin sebanyak 59 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi product moment didahului uji prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Pemahaman sanitasi higiene dan keselamatan kerja dalam kategori cukup (40,68%), (2) Pelaksanaan praktikum pastry and bakery dalam kategori cukup (42,37%), (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pemahaman sanitasi higiene dan keselamatan kerja terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum pastry and bakery yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai r hitung sebesar rhitung = 0,411 > rtabel sebesar = 0,252 dan koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,169 atau (16,9%)
UPAYA GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI KRIYA KREATIF BATIK DAN TEKSTIL DI SMK N 1 KALASAN
The background of the problem is that students have difficulty finding inspiration to complete assignments, are late in submitting assignments, and look unenthusiastic when studying. The purpose of the study was to find out what efforts teachers make to improve students' learning motivation. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods include: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is carried out using triangulation techniques. The research procedure goes through the following stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study are: (1) students gain an understanding of the learning process by understanding the goals and benefits of learning (2) students gain self-awareness of learning (3) teachers provide gentle touches as a motivator for students' enthusiasm (4) teachers give gifts as a form of appreciation (5) teachers give praise and awards as a form of appreciation (6) teachers create a healthy competitive learning climate in the classroom (7) teachers do not inform students of their learning achievements (8) teachers use multimedia when teaching (9) teachers use multi-methods when teaching.

Implementasi ajaran Sariswara pada ekstrakurikuler menari di SD Negeri Cokrokusuman
This research aims to explore how Sariswara's teachings are implemented in dance extracurricular activities at Cokrokusuman State Elementary School as an effort to enrich students' learning experiences and strengthen cultural and spiritual values in education. A qualitative approach was used with data collection techniques through participant observation, interviews and document analysis. The findings show that the integration of Sariswara's teachings has enriched the dance learning context by introducing philosophical elements and cultural values in every movement and choreography. In addition, the implementation of Sariswara's teachings has increased students' understanding of the harmony between body, mind and spirit, as well as increased their appreciation of cultural diversity and artistic expression. This research contributes to our understanding of the role of traditional teaching in improving the quality of arts education at the primary level
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana ajaran Sariswara diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler menari di SD Negeri Cokrokusuman sebagai upaya untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa dan memperkuat nilai-nilai budaya dan spiritual dalam pendidikan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ajaran Sariswara telah memperkaya konteks pembelajaran menari dengan memperkenalkan elemen-elemen filosofis dan nilai-nilai budaya dalam setiap gerakan dan koreografi. Selain itu, implementasi ajaran Sariswara telah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang keselarasan antara tubuh, pikiran, dan jiwa, serta meningkatkan apresiasi mereka terhadap keberagaman budaya dan ekspresi seni. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman kita tentang peran ajaran tradisional dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan seni di tingkat dasar.
Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penggunaan aplikasi quizizz pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta
This class action research aims to describe the increase in student learning motivation through the use of quizizz applications in Indonesian language learning in class V SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. The hypothesis of this study is that through the use of quizizz applications can increase student learning motivation in learning Indonesian in grade V of SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted in two cycles with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta with the research subjects being fifth grade students in the 2024/2025 school year totaling 23 students. The object of this research is to increase students learning motivation in learning Indonesian in grade V of SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and tests. Data collection instruments in the form of student learning motivation questionnaire and learning outcomes test. The data analysis technique is in the form of questionnaire analysis to determine student learning motivation and tests to measure the learning outcomes of grade V students in Indonesian language subjects. The results showed that the use of the quizizz application proved effective in increasing student learning motivation. 1) The increase in the results of the student learning motivation questionnaire shows that the average percentage of learning motivation in the preaction was 40,51% in the low category. After using the quizizz application, the average percentage of learning motivation increased in cycle I by 78,74% in the good category and reached 84,87% in cycle II in the very good category with an increase of 6,13%. 2) The increase in student learning outcomes showed that the average student score in the initial condition was 70,17. After using the quizizz application, the average value increased to 79,39 in cycle I and reached 83,74 in cycle II. Thus, the use of the quizizz application in Indonesian language learning can increase student learning motivation in Class V of SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta can be considered successful because it reaches the predetermined success indicators.Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penggunaan aplikasi quizizz pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu melalui penggunaan aplikasi quizizz dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta.
