ANALYSIS OF PATIENT SATISFACTION TOWARDS SERVICE QUALITY IN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS IN INDONESIA: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Hospitals play a crucial role in improving healthcare services. Satisfaction is a key indicator for hospitals, reflecting the quality of care provided. Patient satisfaction is a comparison between the service received and patient expectations. To achieve this, patient requirements must be met, thereby improving the quality of healthcare services. Patient satisfaction can be measured through five dimensions of hospital service, generally referred to as SERVQUAL (reliability, empathy, tangibility, responsiveness, and assurance). The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between these dimensions and patient satisfaction, particularly in emergency departments (EDs) in Indonesia.
The literature obtained consisted of original research articles on these dimensions and patient satisfaction in the ED retrieved from the Google Scholar database. Eight selected articles revealed a relationship between all SERVQUAL dimensions and patient satisfaction. Based on these findings, hospitals should provide outreach regarding the importance and influence of these service quality dimensions on patient satisfaction
Sentiment analysis of political figure glorification on social media
Di era digital, di saat akses terhadap pengetahuan terbuka luas, banyak yang mengira masyarakat akan lebih logis, kritis, dan objektif, sehingga glorifikasi yang mengarah pada pemberhalaan terhadap figur akan berkurang. Faktanya, glorifikasi justru menemukan tempat yang lebih masif dan luas di era digital. Meskipun banyak laporan media dan opini publik tentang glorifikasi terhadap tokoh politik, studi akademik yang menggunakan pendekatan sistematis untuk memahami fenomena ini sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi glorifikasi tokoh politik di media sosial menggunakan metode sentiment analysis. Ada 8.000 tweets yang dianalisis. Hasilnya, mayoritas tweets memuat sentimen positif, yaitu sebanyak 4.200 tweets atau 52,5% dari keseluruhan data, mengindikasikan adanya glorifikasi terhadap tokoh politik. Glorifikasi yang ditemukan, yaitu Overgeneralization (22% tweets), Hero Worship (15% tweets), dan Dismissive of Criticism (12% tweets). Pola glorifikasi yang banyak muncul sering kali tidak didasarkan pada fakta objektif, yang menunjukkan kecenderungan pemberhalaan, di mana tokoh politik diposisikan sebagai figur yang ideal, sempurna, dan berada di luar kritik. Revitalization of Javanese culture as a cultural resilience mechanism against radicalism
This research aims to explore how the revitalization of Javanese culture plays a role in building cultural resilience as a strategy for the prevention of radicalism. Employing a qualitative approach, the study involved in-depth interviews with Javanese cultural experts, former individuals exposed to radical ideologies, religious leaders, and security apparatus personnel experienced in handling extremism. The thematic analysis identified three primary themes: (1) Kejawen values as a cognitive-affective framework that forms cultural resilience; (2) the practice of Gotong Royong (cooperation) as a source of communal resilience that strengthens the sense of connection and collective alertness; and (3) traditional Arts and Rituals as Mechanisms of Local Identity Formation, which functions to protect individuals from seeking alternative identities offered by radical ideologies. These findings confirm that the revitalization of Javanese culture is not merely the preservation of tradition, but rather an adaptive mechanism that reinforces the community's resilience in rejecting the penetration of violent ideologies. Thus, cultural resilience becomes an essential foundation for sustainable radicalism prevention efforts based on local wisdom
Unity-based interactive learning media untuk pengenalan microsoft excel di sekolah menengah pertama
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Unity untuk membantu siswa kelas 7 memahami dasar-dasar Microsoft Excel secara lebih efektif. Metode Research and Development digunakan dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 22 siswa SMP Negeri 6 Malang. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes pretest–posttest, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa, dengan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 71,3 pada pretest menjadi 92,9 pada posttest. Respons siswa menunjukkan tingkat persetujuan tinggi pada aspek desain visual (89,4%), kemudahan navigasi (85,2%), kualitas materi (87,1%), efektivitas pemahaman (81,8%), dan daya tarik pembelajaran (90,2%). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa media berbasis Unity dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam pembelajaran informatika, khususnya untuk mengenalkan Microsoft Excel secara interaktif.
Unity-based interactive learning media for introducing Microsoft Excel in junior high schools
Abstract: This study aims to develop Unity-based interactive learning media to support seventh-grade students in understanding the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel more effectively. The Research and Development method was employed using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants were 22 students from SMP Negeri 6 Malang selected purposively. Data were collected through observations, pretest–posttest assessments, and student response questionnaires. Quantitative descriptive analysis was used to determine learning improvement and evaluate student perceptions. The results show a substantial increase in students’ understanding, with average scores rising from 71.3 on the pretest to 92.9 on the posttest. Student responses indicated high approval across five aspects: visual design (89.4%), navigation (85.2%), content quality (87.1%), learning effectiveness (81.8%), and engagement and motivation (90.2%). The study concludes that Unity-based interactive media offers an innovative and engaging alternative for teaching Microsoft Excel in secondary informatics education
Analysis of scientific literacy and reading skills in the topic of matter among primary school students
This study aims to analyse the relationship between reading skills and science literacy in single substance and mixed substance materials in Year 5 primary school. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and correlation analysis. The research sample consisted of 18 students at SD Negeri 2 Petobo. The instruments used were a reading skills test covering reading aloud, reading comprehension, reading speed, and text content analysis, as well as a science literacy test consisting of multiple-choice questions. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis showed a value of 0.6643, indicating a fairly strong positive relationship between reading skills and science literacy. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.4413 shows that approximately 44.13% of the variability in science literacy can be explained by reading skills. These findings emphasise the importance of reading skills in improving students' understanding of science material. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective science learning through the strengthening of students' reading skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan membaca dan literasi sains pada materi zat tunggal dan zat campuran di kelas 5 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif dan korelasi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 18 siswa di SD Negeri 2 Petobo. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan membaca yang mencakup membaca nyaring, pemahaman bacaan, kecepatan membaca, dan analisis isi teks, serta tes literasi sains yang terdiri dari soal pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai 0,6643, yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan positif yang cukup kuat antara keterampilan membaca dan literasi sains. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,4413 menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 44,13% variabilitas literasi sains dapat dijelaskan oleh keterampilan membaca. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya keterampilan membaca dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sains. De Bandoengsche Gasfabriek: Perkembangan industri gas dan modernisasi keamanan pangan di Kota Bandung (1921-1942)
This study aims to trace the development of the gas factory in Bandung and its influence on the modernization of hygiene in the city of Bandung during the colonial period. Previous studies on colonial Bandung have rarely discussed hygiene or the gas factory. In addition, there has been no research linking the emergence of gas technology as a driver of improving food hygiene in the Dutch East Indies. Therefore, there needs to be a historical study that discusses gas technology with the setting of the place in colonial Bandung. The method used in this study is the historical method through four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Historical data were obtained through tracing primary and secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that the background to the emergence of the gas factory in Bandung was driven by the scarcity of firewood and the colonial government's efforts to improve unhealthy food hygiene conditions. During its operation from 1921 to 1942, the gas factory became a provider of cooking fuel for the residents of Bandung. This study argues that the presence of the gas factory is correlated with improvements in food hygiene in the city of Bandung.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri perkembangan pabrik gas di Bandung dan pengaruhnya terhadap modernisasi keamanan pangan di Kota Bandung pada masa kolonial. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu mengenai Bandung masa kolonial masih jarang yang membahas keamanan pangan maupun pabrik gas. Selain itu belum ada penelitian yang mengaitkan kemunculan teknologi gas sebagai pendorong perbaikan keamanan pangan di Hindia Belanda. Oleh sebab itu, perlu ada penulisan sejarah yang membahas teknologi gas dengan latar tempat di Bandung masa kolonial. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah metode sejarah melalui empat tahap yakni heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiogafi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui penelusuran sumber primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang kemunculan pabrik gas di Bandung didorong kelangkaan kayu bakar dan upaya pemerintah kolonial untuk memperbaiki kondisi keamanan pangan yang kurang sehat. Selama beroperasi dari tahun 1921 sampai 1942, pabrik gas menjadi penyedia bahan bakar untuk memasak bagi penduduk kota Bandung. Penelitian ini berargumen bahwa kehadiran pabrik gas berpengaruh terhadap perbaikan keamanan pangan di Kota Bandung
The theoretical framework of GEMBIRA learning model: An impactful insight for Indonesian numeracy movement
Numeracy literacy is a foundational competency that plays a critical role in early childhood and primary education, enabling students to make sense of and respond to real-life problems embedded with quantitative elements. Despite numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing numeracy skills at these educational levels, such efforts have often been fragmented and lack a coherent pedagogical framework. In response, the Indonesian Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education launched the National Numeracy Movement as a large-scale initiative to improve numeracy learning outcomes. However, a significant gap remains in the form of a clear instructional framework that can guide early childhood and primary educators in implementing this movement effectively within the classroom context. Addressing this gap, the present study proposes a comprehensive instructional framework termed the GEMBIRA model—an acronym for Gali dan Eksplorasi konteks yang dekat dengan siswa (Explore contexts close to students), Muat konten numerasi hasil eksplorasi (Embed numeracy content from exploration), Buat aktivitas yang bermakna (Design meaningful learning activities), Ikuti alur pikir siswa dalam evaluasi (Follow students’ thinking in evaluation), and Rayakan dan Akhiri pembelajaran dengan menyenangkan (Celebrate and conclude the learning joyfully). The GEMBIRA model is theoretically grounded in Ethno-Realistic Mathematics Education, emphasizing the integration of local cultural contexts and realistic mathematical experiences, particularly in numeracy learning. This study employed an integrative literature review method to construct a robust theoretical framework for the model. The resulting framework offers a practical and contextually relevant pedagogical tool for educators to implement the National Numeracy Movement, particularly at the early childhood and primary school levels. By rooting instruction in culturally familiar and mathematically rich contexts, the GEMBIRA model holds the potential to foster stronger foundational numeracy skills and contribute to students’ long-term academic success
Integrating javanese ethnomathematics approaches into the geometry learning of junior high school
This study explores mathematics teachers’ perceptions regarding the integration of Javanese ethnomathematical approaches into geometry instruction at the junior high school level. The research involved mathematics teachers from 12 junior high schools across three provinces in Indonesia: DI Yogyakarta, Central Java, and East Java. Data were gathered through a structured survey instrument designed to assess opinions on the ethnomathematics-based model, supplemented by Focus Group Discussions to capture user evaluations. Descriptive analysis was employed to examine the collected data. The findings indicate that teachers hold a positive perception toward the use of ethnomathematics in geometry learning. This perception is reflected in several aspects, including awareness, prior exposure, evaluation of instructional design and implementation, practical use in teaching, and student assessment. The integration of Javanese ethnomathematics is deemed reasonably acceptable, particularly in terms of its introduction, content, evaluation mechanisms, and closing components. These findings offer practical insights for culturally responsive mathematics education that embraces local wisdom in classroom practice
Effectiveness of EDP-STEM to Empower Higher Order Thinking Skills in Physics Learning : A Meta-analysis
Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are essential competencies in the 21st century. Although many studies have examined Engineering Design Process-STEM (EDP-STEM), there is still limited synthesis of its effectiveness in physics learning. This study applied a systematic review using the PRISMA protocol and synthesized nine empirical studies published between 2019 and 2024. Data were analyzed with a random-effects model. The overall effect size was 0.64 (95% CI [0.17–1.11], I² = 86%), indicating a moderate positive impact of EDP-STEM on students’ HOTS. Moderator analysis revealed that learning media (prototyping), education level (high school), and performance-based assessments produced the most significant effects. EDP-STEM effectively enhances HOTS in physics learning, particularly problem-solving skills. Teachers are encouraged to integrate prototyping and authentic assessment strategies. Future research should expand the number of studies and contexts to strengthen the evidence base.Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTs) merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa di abad ke-21. Meta-analisis merupakan salah satu pendekatan sistematis yang dapat mengkaji dampak EDP-STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika dalam memberdayakan HOTs pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang bagaimana EDP-STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika memberdayakan HOTs pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), dengan mensintesis temuan-temuan studi empiris yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2019 dan 2024. Analisis data menggunakan model efek acak untuk mengakomodasi variabilitas antar studi yang diikutsertakan. Total effect size yang dihitung adalah 0,64 dengan 95% CI [0,17; 1,11], yang menunjukkan dampak positif EDP-STEM yang sedang hingga substansial untuk memberdayakan HOTs siswa dibandingkan dengan metode pengajaran lain dalam pembelajaran fisika. Analisis heterogenitas menunjukkan nilai I² sebesar 86%, yang menunjukkan variabilitas moderat di antara hasil studi. Analisis moderator lebih lanjut mengidentifikasi variasi signifikan dalam ukuran efek berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan, media pembelajaran, dan instrumen asesmen. Hasil meta-analisis ini menunjukkan dampak positif bahwa melalui EDP-STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika yang didukung oleh media pembelajaran dan asesmen yang tepat, guru dapat meningkatkan praktik mengajar dalam memberdayakan HOT siswa, terutama dalam pembelajaran fisika
ANALISIS PENGARUH IDEALISASI, MOTIVASI INSPIRASI, STIMULASI INTELEKTUAL, KEPERHATIAN INDIVIDU TERHADAP KETERIKATAN KARYAWAN DI LEMBAH KARYA TENUN
This study aims to analyze the idealization influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual attention as dimensions of transformational leadership toward employee engagement at Lembah Karya Tenun Troso. Type of research is quantitative with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on SmartPLS 4 as an analysis tool. The research sample was 75 respondents who were permanent employees of Lembah Karya Tenun. The results of the analysis show that three of the four dimensions of transformational leadership have a positive and significant effect to employee engagement, namely inspirational motivation (T-statistic = 2.853; P = 0.004), intellectual stimulation (T-statistic = 3.211; P = 0.001), and individual attention (T-statistic = 6.850; P = 0.000). Meanwhile, the idealization influence of leader has no significant effect (T-statistic = 0.441; P = 0.659). Value of R-square of 0.870 indicates that the model has high predictive power. These findings indicate that inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individual attention are the key factors increasing on employee engagement
