    Customer Satisfaction Mapping of Hot Mix Asphalt Products Using Importance-Performance Analysis

    The construction industry, particularly road construction, supports economic growth and enhances community mobility. One of the primary challenges is ensuring that the quality of hot mix asphalt (HMA), a critical component in road construction, aligns with customer needs and expectations. This study aims to evaluate customer satisfaction with HMA products produced by PT. SKS in Yogyakarta. The Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) approach was employed to identify gaps between the product's actual performance and the importance level expected by customers. Data were collected from 25 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering 20 service attributes, including guest facilities, product services, and quality control. The data were analyzed using a Cartesian diagram to map attributes into four priority quadrants. The findings revealed that the average performance score (3.93) was slightly lower than the average importance score (4.13), indicating gaps in several attributes. Attributes such as the availability of project safety shoes (Q8) and accessibility (Q9) fell into Quadrant A, requiring immediate improvement. Meanwhile, attributes like product quality (Q14) and delivery reliability (Q12) in Quadrant B must be maintained. This study concludes that enhancing the priority attributes in Quadrant A can significantly improve customer satisfaction. The findings provide strategic recommendations for the company to enhance efficiency, improve product quality, and meet customer expectations

    Rational Choice and Benchmarking of Madrasah Aliyah Accreditation Quality in the Serang Urban Area

    Urban communities tend to reason about the choice of quality education. The research aims to analyse the community's rational choices regarding the quality of madrasas and determine the perception of benchmarking of madrasah accreditation in Serang City. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach at Madrasah Aliyah, Serang City. Data collection was done through interviews with informants from madrasah managers, parents of students, and madrasah supervisors, and data analysis was done using descriptive and triangulation techniques. The study results found that the rational choice of urban communities for the quality of madrassas in Serang City was influenced by academic, social, and cultural factors. The sensible choice lies in the superiority of religious education, but it offers quality public education as a holistic option, encompassing academic, moral, and spiritual dimensions. Public perception is influenced by the ability of madrasas to meet the criteria of the National Accreditation Board, which describes the strengths and weaknesses in improving the quality of education. The benchmarking process has a positive influence on enhancing the accreditation and quality of madrasas. The perception of the Head of the Madrasah regarding managerial changes and educational quality standards is an essential indicator for parents and supervisors to improve the quality of continuous education. The research implies that the more rational the choice of the quality of madrasah accreditation, the more it will increase the perception of benchmarking of Islamic educational institutions. This research is limited to Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in Serang City

    Dark Jokes dalam komunikasi: Studi semiotika Roland Barthes

    The spread of dark jokes through social media such as Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram has increased significantly. Differences in individual characteristics such as age, gender, trauma experience, and intensity of social media use also shape subjective perceptions and meanings of dark jokes. This study uses a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method to reveal the layers of denotative and connotative meanings of dark jokes in Tretan Muslim video content. Data were obtained through observation of content on Instagram and YouTube, then analyzed with two main stages in Barthes' framework, namely identification of the sign system (signifier and signified) and exploration of myths or ideologies that form dominant meanings. The findings of this study indicate that dark jokes in Tretan Muslim video content not only function as entertainment, but also represent socio-political criticism through a system of layered signs. At the connotative level, the humor becomes a means of demythologizing dominant ideologies such as nepotism, institutional inequality, and hegemony of power, which are packaged symbolically through irony, hyperbole, and intertextuality so that they can be accepted by the wider public.Penyebaran dark jokes melalui media sosial seperti Twitter, TikTok, dan Instagram mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Perbedaan karakteristik individu seperti usia, jenis kelamin, pengalaman trauma, dan intensitas penggunaan media sosial turut membentuk persepsi dan makna subjektif terhadap dark jokes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis semiotika Roland Barthes untuk mengungkap lapisan makna denotatif dan konotatif dari dark jokes dalam konten video Tretan Muslim. Data diperoleh melalui observasi konten di Instagram dan YouTube, lalu dianalisis dengan dua tahap utama dalam kerangka Barthes, yaitu identifikasi sistem tanda (signifier dan signified) serta eksplorasi mitos atau ideologi yang membentuk makna dominan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dark jokes dalam konten video Tretan Muslim tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga merepresentasikan kritik sosial-politik melalui sistem tanda berlapis makna. Pada tingkat konotatif, humor tersebut menjadi sarana demitologisasi terhadap ideologi dominan seperti nepotisme, ketimpangan institusional, dan hegemoni kekuasaan, yang dikemas secara simbolik melalui ironi, hiperbola, dan intertekstualitas agar dapat diterima oleh publik luas. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kajian komunikasi kritis berbasis semiotika, dengan menyoroti peran humor gelap sebagai medium resistensi simbolik terhadap dominasi ideologis dalam ruang publik digital

    Islam and human rights in the Muslim World: Essentialist and socio-historical perspectives

    The discourse on human rights in the Muslim world continues to generate significant debate, particularly regarding the interplay between Islamic principles and universal human rights standards. This study explores the implementation of human rights in Muslim-majority countries by examining two essential approaches: the essentialist perspective, which views Islamic teachings as inherently compatible with human rights, and the socio-historical perspective, which emphasizes the contextual interpretation of Islamic values in contemporary settings. The research aims to analyze how these differing approaches influence the realization of human rights in the Muslim world. Using qualitative methods, including literature review and content analysis of key Islamic texts, legal frameworks, and case studies from various Muslim countries, the study identifies patterns and challenges in harmonizing Islamic doctrines with global human rights norms. The findings reveal that while the essentialist approach promotes a timeless and unchanging view of human rights within Islam, the socio-historical perspective offers flexibility, allowing for reinterpretation in response to evolving societal needs. The study concludes that a balanced integration of both approaches is essential for fostering a comprehensive and culturally relevant human rights framework in the Muslim world, emphasizing the importance of dialogue, contextual understanding, and legal reforms

    Development of ICT and Tri-N teaching materials for both in-class and online learning

    This research aimed to develop ICT and Tri-N teaching materials suitable for both in-class and online learning environments and assess their feasibility and effectiveness. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted at SMA N 5 Yogyakarta, involving class X1 (in-class learning) and X2 (online learning) with a total of 72 students. Data were collected through student response questionnaires and tests. The developed teaching materials included videos, PowerPoint (PPT) presentations, and handouts. The videos were published on YouTube, providing links to specific sub-materials. The validation results indicated high validity, and student response analysis classified the materials as good. Furthermore, a positive and significant correlation between student responses and learning outcomes tests was observed. The developed teaching materials can serve as effective tools for student learning, and it is recommended for teachers to explore similar approaches for other subjects. This study contributes to the growing body of research on digital pedagogy by providing empirical evidence that ICT-integrated Tri-N teaching materials not only improve student learning outcomes but also offer a scalable and adaptable framework for enhancing instructional quality across varied educational contexts

    Development of millealab-assisted class of dynamic fluid in pbl-steam learning to improve students’ problem-solving skills in dynamic fluid material

    In the 21st century, the integration of essential skills commonly referred to as the 4Cs (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity) into science education has become imperative. Among these, problem-solving skills are central to fostering critical thinking and creativity. However, students' problem-solving performance in dynamic fluid concepts remains considerably low. This study aims to develop and evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a MilleaLab-assisted virtual reality (VR) learning medium integrated with the Problem-Based Learning and STEAM (PBL-STEAM) approach to enhance students’ problem-solving skills in dynamic fluid materials. Employing a 4D research and development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), the media were assessed through expert validation questionnaires, student response surveys, classroom observations, and pre-and post-test problem-solving assessments. This study used a quasi-experiment pre-test post-test non-equivalent group design. There were 56 eleventh-grade students who divided into an experimental class and a control class, and were chosen Where the research subjects are selected based on the considerations of the subject teacher and the characteristics of both academic potential and student involvement potential in learning. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, and normalized gain (N-Gain) calculations. Results indicated that the developed media was highly valid and practical, and significantly improved problem-solving skills, with an N-Gain of 0.85 in the experimental group compared to 0.68 in the control group. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of immersive VR-based learning using MilleaLab within the PBL-STEAM model on a complex physics topic, that has not been widely explored. Future studies are encouraged to implement this media across varied physic topics and over longer instructional periods to optimize its long-term impact on students’ problem-solving skills

    The purpose of this study was to determine the interest in continuing their studies to tertiary institutions for class XII students of Fashion Design at SMK Ma'arif Al-Munawwir Yogyakarta, seen from internal factors and external factors. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis techniques to calculate the Mean, Median, Mode, and Standard Deviation. The results showed that the interest in continuing their studies to tertiary institutions for class XII students of Fashion Design at Ma'arif Al-Munawwir Vocational High School Yogyakarta was in the sufficient category with a relative frequency of 58.33%. Variable students' interest in continuing their studies at tertiary institutions has two indicators, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are a sufficient category with a relative frequency of 65% and external factors are in the sufficient category with a relative frequency of 50%.   Keywords: interest, fashion, study at university  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi siswa kelas XII Tata Busana SMK Ma’arif Al-Munawwir Yogyakarta dilihat dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif melalui perhitungan Mean, Median, Modus dan Standar Deviasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi siswa kelas XII Tata Busana Sekolah Menengah Yogyakarta dalam kategori cukup dengan frekuensi relatif 58,33%. Variabel minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi siswa memiliki dua indiaktor, yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal.     This research aims to develop the traditional game tektok (shoot pletok) to increase the learning motivation of Sumberkepuh Elementary School students in PJOK subjects. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and distributing questionnaires. Limited trials were carried out on 20 fourth grade students at SDN Sumberkepuh 5, while extensive trials were carried out on high grade students at SDN Sumberkepuh 3, SDN Sumberkepuh 4, and SDN Sumberkepuh 5. The results of this research can be concluded that this research has produced a traditional tektok game in PJOK learning. This product can be used because it has reached the standard assessment criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness as follows: 1) Validity test results obtained 92% with very valid and usable criteria. 2) The results of the practicality test for students and teachers received an accumulative score of 90% in the very practical category. 3) The results of the effectiveness test are accumulated with a score of 97%, which means that the effectiveness test of the traditional tektok (shoot pletok) game product has very effective criteria and can increase students' learning motivation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan permainan tradisional tektok (tembak pletok) untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik SDN Sumberkepuh pada mata pelajaran PJOK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 20 siswa kelas IV di SDN Sumberkepuh 5, sedangkan uji coba luas dilakukan pada siswa kelas tinggi SDN Sumberkepuh 3, SDN Sumberkepuh 4, dan SDN Sumberkepuh 5. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan  bahwa penelitian ini telah menghasilkan sebuah permainan tradisional tektok pada pembelajaran PJOK. Produk tersebut dapat digunakan karena telah mencapai standar kriteria penilaian dari kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan sebagai berikut: 1) Hasil uji kevalidan perolehan 92% dengan kriteria sangat valid dan dapat digunakan. 2) Hasil uji kepraktisan siswa dan guru mendapat hasil skor akumulatif 90% dengan kategori sangat praktis. 3) Hasil uji keefektifan diakumulasikan dengan skor 97% yang berarti uji keefektifan produk permainan tradisional tektok (tembak pletok) memiliki kriteria sangat efektif dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik

    This research aims to: 1) develop LKPD based on a scientific approach in science learning in grade V of elementary school; 2) to determine the feasibility of LKPD based on a scientific approach in science learning in grade V of elementary school by material experts, media experts, and class teachers; 3) to determine students' responses to LKPD based on a scientific approach in science learning in grade V of elementary school. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) study with the ADDIE development model consisting of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques use unstructured interview techniques, observation, and questionnaires in the form of a multilevel/likert scale. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The feasibility of the media is obtained from the validation results carried out by material experts, media experts, and class teachers using instruments in the form of validation questionnaires, and students using instruments in the form of response questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that 1) the study produced a LKPD product based on a scientific approach in science learning for grade V elementary schools with a focus on the material on the "Water Cycle"; 2) the LKPD product based on a scientific approach is very feasible to use in the learning process based on the results of the validation of material experts obtained a percentage score of 92.8%, the results of the validation of media experts obtained a percentage score of 89.7% and the results of the validation of class teachers obtained a percentage score of 94%; 3) the LKPD product based on a scientific approach in science learning received a positive response from students based on the results of student responses obtained a score of 89,4%. Based on the results of the feasibility of material experts, media experts, and class teachers as well as student responses, the scientific-based LKPD product in science learning in grade V of Tegalpanggung State Elementary School was declared very feasible to be used in the learning process. LKPD based on a scientific approach can be used as an alternative learning tool for teachers and a learning reference for students in science learning on the water cycle material.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V sekolah dasar; 2) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis pendekatan santifik pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V sekolah dasar oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru kelas; 3) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi) dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara tidak terstruktur, observasi, dan angket dengan bentuk skala bertingkat/likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Kelayakan media diperoleh dari hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru kelas menggunakan instrumen berupa angket validasi, serta peserta didik menggunakan instrumen berupa angket respon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) penelitian menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V sekolah dasar dengan fokus materi tentang “Siklus Air”; 2) produk LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh skor persentase 92,8%, hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh skor persentase 89,7% dan hasil validasi guru kelas diperoleh skor persentase 94%; 3) produk LKPD berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran IPA mendapatkan respon positif dari peserta didik berdasarkan hasil respon peserta didik diperoleh skor 89,4%. Berdasarkan hasil kelayakan dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru kelas serta respon peserta didik, produk LKPD berbasis saintifik pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri Tegalpanggung dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.     ABSTRAK Lukisan “Dalang Bali” merupakan sebuah karya seni dua dimensi seniman lukis terkenal Bali saat ini yaitu I Nyoman Gunarsa. Lukisan ini bertema tentang kebudayaan Bali, yang merupakan sebuah bentuk representasi yang di dalamnya terkandung ideologi dan berlatar belakang sosial budaya masyarakat Hindu Bali. Gunarsa yang menghadirkan representasi estetika dekonstruktif lewat tanda visual membawa misi tertentu yang menjadi ideologi seniman. Melalui tanda visual inilah lukisan “Dalang Bali” bisa dilihat sebagai tanda atau teks yang tidak bermakna tunggal (kompleks). Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada analisis dekonstruksi dari estetika yang hadir dalam lukisan “Dalang Bali”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, pengumpulan dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data bersifat deskriptif analisis, Teori yang digunakan adalah teori dekonstruksi, dan teori hipersemiotika. Hasil pembahasan dari representasi estetika dekonstruksi lukisan “Dalang Bali” I Nyoman Gunarsa diurai dari aspek bentuk yang terdistorsi, ruang yang menghadirkan ruang terbatas dan tanpa batas, komposisi yang di dalammya mengandung kontras dan sudut pandang yang menciptakan peleburan makna yang tunggal, transformasi struktur dalam pementasan wayang yang asli menciptakan konotasi makna dari makna yang bersifat denotasi, dan tanda yang menghadirkan tanda palsu dan tanda daur ulang yang menciptakan dekontekstualisasi pada tanda. ABSTRACT The painting “Dalang Bali” is a two-dimensional work of art by the famous Balinese painter I Nyoman Gunarsa. This painting is themed around Balinese culture, which serves as a form of representation containing ideology and rooted in the socio-cultural background of the Balinese Hindu community. Gunarsa presents a deconstructive aesthetic representation through visual symbols, carrying a specific mission that reflects the artist's ideology. Through these visual symbols, the painting “Dalang Bali” can be seen as a sign or text that is not singular in meaning (complex). This study focuses on the deconstruction analysis of the aesthetics present in the painting “Dalang Bali.” The research employs observation, documentation collection, and interviews. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis, using deconstruction theory and hypersemiotics theory. The discussion of the deconstructive aesthetic representation in the painting “Dalang Bali” by I Nyoman Gunarsa is analyzed from the aspects of distorted form, space that presents both limited and unlimited space, composition that contains contrasts and perspectives creating a fusion of singular meaning, structural transformation in the original wayang performance creating connotative meaning from denotative meaning, and signs that present false signs and recycled signs creating decontextualization of the sign
