    Empowering female inmates at Pontianak correctional facility through e-business training to enhance economic empowerment

    The stigma against female inmates presents a significant challenge to their social and economic reintegration post-incarceration. This study explores the empowerment of female inmates at the Pontianak Correctional Facility through e-business training as a means of enhancing their economic independence. The research employs a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving direct engagement with inmates to assess their needs, develop training modules, and evaluate the program’s effectiveness. The training covers fundamental e-business concepts, digital marketing strategies, financial management, and online store operations. Findings indicate that the program successfully improved participants’ digital literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and confidence in starting online businesses. Furthermore, the training contributed to reducing recidivism risks by equipping inmates with sustainable income-generating skills. Challenges such as limited access to technology and post-release business continuity were identified, emphasizing the need for continued mentorship and institutional support. This study highlights the potential of digital entrepreneurship as a reintegration strategy, advocating for broader implementation in correctional facilities

    Literasi dasar mencakup keterampilan membaca, menulis, berbicara, menyimak, serta pemanfaatan teknologi, dan menjadi fondasi penting bagi perkembangan peserta didik. Di era digital, rendahnya minat literasi di Indonesia menimbulkan tantangan serius karena berdampak pada lemahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis, logis, dan pemecahan masalah. Data Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2018 dan UNESCO menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia masih menempati peringkat rendah dalam literasi global, dipengaruhi keterbatasan sarana perpustakaan, rendahnya ketersediaan tenaga pustakawan, serta penetrasi teknologi yang belum diimbangi literasi informasi. Pemerintah telah meluncurkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS), namun implementasinya di banyak sekolah belum optimal. Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Gandurejo di Temanggung, misalnya, memperoleh skor literasi 53,33% pada Rapor Pendidikan 2023, yang menunjukkan masih lemahnya kemampuan literasi siswa. Faktor utama penghambatnya meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas, kurangnya pengelola perpustakaan, dan minimnya pembiasaan membaca. Sebagai solusi, sekolah menginisiasi program inovatif Kebuli (Kegiatan Budaya Literasi) melalui berbagai aktivitas, antara lain pembuatan pojok baca, pengkaderan pustakawan cilik, papan kreasi siswa, pohon literasi, pelabelan pohon, dan kegiatan storytelling. Program ini bertujuan membangun lingkungan literasi yang menarik, integratif, dan berkelanjutan, sekaligus mendukung tujuan pendidikan nasional dalam mengembangkan potensi anak secara holistik melalui pembiasaan literasi

    Strategic Optimization of School Administrative Management Using Google Workspace for Education

    This study aims to explore the implementation of Google Workspace for Education in school administration and to formulate effective strategies for optimizing administrative processes at a State Junior High School in Yogyakarta. Employing a qualitative research approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, document analysis, and questionnaires. The study investigated how Google Workspace tools are integrated into administrative tasks and identified internal and external factors influencing its adoption using a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis. Findings reveal that Google Workspace for Education is effectively utilized in managing curriculum and student administration, particularly through online collaboration facilitated by Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Google Forms, and Google Sites. The school has established a development team and conducts regular evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of administrative functions. Based on SWOT analysis, the study recommends a progressive strategy that leverages the school's internal strengths to capitalize on external opportunities, thereby enhancing administrative efficiency. This strategic approach underscores the role of digital tools in promoting innovation and improving school governance

    Pengembangan E-Modul Pembelajaran Interaktif Pada Materi Sistem Air Conditioner (Ac) Di Smk Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta

    ABSTRACT The objectives of this study are: (1) Develop and produce teaching materials E-module ac system material for class XII majoring in Automotive at SMK. (2) Knowing the feasibility of the E-module. The research method used is Research And Development (R&D) with reference to the 4D development model, namely define, design, development and dissemination. Data collection instruments are in the form of expert validation questionnaires and student questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of material expert lecturers got 94.4% with the classification of "very feasible". The results of the analysis of the material expert teacher resulted in the category of "very feasible" with a percentage of 98.6% . The results of the analysis from media expert lecturers get a percentage of 88% with the category of "very feasible". The results of the trial of limited group students resulted in an "excellent" category with a percentage of 88%. Large-scale student trials resulted in the "excellent" category with a percentage of 85.5%. Based on all the results of expert assessments and student trials, the E-module of the air conditioner (ac) system is "very feasible" to be applied to help students in learning.   Keywords: E-module, Interactive, Air conditioning system     ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengembangkan dan menghasilkan bahan ajar E-modul materi sistem AC untuk kelas XII jurusan Otomotif di SMK. (2) Mengetahui kelayakan E-modul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research And Development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D, yaitu define, design, development dan dissemination. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket validasi ahli dan angket peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis dosen ahli materi mendapat 94,4% dengan klasifikasi “sangat layak”. Hasil analisis guru ahli materi menghasilkan kategori “sangat layak” dengan presentase 98,6% . Hasil analisis dari dosen ahli media mendapatkan presentase 88% dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil uji coba siswa kelompok terbatas menghasilkan kategori “sangat baik” dengan persentase 88%. Uji coba siswa skala besar menghasilkan kategori “sangat baik” dengan presentase 85,5%. Berdasarkan dari seluruh hasil penilaian para ahli dan uji coba peserta didik bahwa E-modul sistem air conditioner (ac) “sangat layak” untuk diterapkan guna membantu siswa dalam belajar.   Kata kunci: E-modul, Interaktif, Sistem air conditione

    Differentiated learning innovation assisted by wordwall media in mathematics learning

    This study aims to examine differentiated learning innovation assisted by Wordwall media in mathematics learning in grade VI of state elementary school Banyumanik 03. The main problem identified is the low motivation and participation of students in mathematics learning materials. To overcome this, a differentiated learning approach was developed that adapts to the learning styles and needs of students, with the support of Wordwall as an interactive medium to increase engagement and enthusiasm for learning. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach involving 28 sixth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of learning outcomes. The results showed that the implementation of differentiated learning assisted by Wordwall significantly increased student motivation and participation in learning, as indicated by an increase in the average learning outcome score from 56 to 90. In addition, the use of Wordwall also helped teachers in classroom management and provided more effective feedback.Inovasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran matematikaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji inovasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan media Wordwall dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas VI SDN Banyumanik 03.     Integration of problem-based learning with digital technology in science learning for critical thinking skills

    This study investigates the integration of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) with digital technology in science education and its potential to enhance students’ critical thinking skills in the 21st century. Using a systematic literature review, 28 studies published between 2005 and 2025 were analyzed through thematic analysis. The review shows a steady growth of research on digital PBL, demonstrating its effectiveness in promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Supporting factors include adequate digital infrastructure, school and teacher support, while barriers such as the digital divide, limited training, and cognitive overload remain challenges. Despite its promise, existing studies rarely adopt longitudinal designs and often lack standardized instruments for measuring critical thinking. The findings highlight that integrating Digital PBL offers a transformative approach to science learning, enabling more interactive and inclusive classrooms. Theoretically, this study reinforces constructivist perspectives by showing how digital PBL fosters active knowledge construction. Practically, it provides insights for policymakers and educators to strengthen teacher training, improve infrastructure, and design more robust frameworks for sustainable digital PBL implementation

    Pre-service Science Teacher Skills in Designing Authentic Assessments for Environmental Literacy

    This study aims to enhance pre-service science teachers’ skills in designing authentic assessments (AA) to measure environmental literacy in the context of natural resource conservation in Bengkulu, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis, 17 participants engaged in ten guided learning phases: defining assessment purposes (as, for, and of learning), identifying decontextualized issues, selecting local contexts, introducing environmental literacy domains, analyzing existing AAs, modeling the design process, developing performance tasks, and evaluating design outputs. The resulting AAs were contextualized within the Air Lemau River ecosystem, Panjang Beach Nature Recreation Park, and pollution–public health issues. Findings revealed that ecological action was the most emphasized domain (69.53%, 71.43%, 65.63%), followed by environmental attitudes (54.70%, 58.04%, 46.88%) and conceptual understanding (53.10%, 51.79%, 50.00%). Produced AAs included written tests and concept maps (conceptual understanding), observation checklists and self-assessments (attitudes), and project-based tasks such as poster campaigns, field studies, and eco-product creation (ecological action). These results support national curriculum priorities on differentiated and deep learning while highlighting the potential of contextual AAs to integrate environmental issues into science education. Further pedagogical scaffolding is recommended to balance domain integration and strengthen reflective, participatory assessment aligned with assessment for and as learning

    The purpose of this study was to determine the competencies required in thehospitality industry. The sample consisted of 10 hotels, 5 in Greater Jakarta and5 in Yogyakarta Special Region, and 6 restaurants, 3 in Greater Jakarta and 3in Yogyakarta Special Region, which served as industrial internship locations.Data collection took place from September to November 2024. The instrumentused was a questionnaire created with Google Forms, which was validated usingan r-value of 0.620 and a variable reliability test of 0.754. The data analysistechnique used was quantitative descriptive analysis. Criteria were determinedbased on the Assessment Reference Standard (PAP). The results showed that thehotel and restaurant industry's perception of the competencies required byinternship students was: good communication skills (average 85), teamworkskills (average 87), adaptability (average 82), customer service skills (average88), and multitasking skills (average 87). All competency indicators were in thehigh category, with averages above 80.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kompetensi yang dibutuhkandalam hospitality industri. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 10 hotel, 5daerah Jabodetabek dan 5 daerah DIY, 6 restaurant 3 di daerahJabodetabek dan 3 di daerah DIY yang digunakan sebagai lokasi praktekindustri.     This study attempts to create GeoDa (Geometry Dakon) media based on local culture that can help fifth-grade students of Ngentak State Elementary School better understand geometric concepts. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) by utilizing the ADDIE paradigm including the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. In the validation of GeoDa media, it was carried out by material and media experts. The Wilcoxon test and student response surveys were used for testing. The results of the media validation obtained a value of 98% and for the material validation obtained 90.6%, so the GeoDa media is very suitable for use. This media is suitable for use, as evidenced by the average student response of 73% for small group trials and 80% for large group trials. The Wilcoxon test shows the results of Asymp. Sig. Value (p) <0.001, indicating that the use of GeoDa (Geometry Dakon) media significantly improves students' understanding of geometric materials. Thus, GeoDa media can be used to teach mathematics, especially geometry.Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menciptakan media GeoDa (Geometri Dakon) berbasis budaya lokal yang dapat membantu murid kelas V SD Negeri Ngentak lebih memahami konsep geometri. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan memanfaatkan paradigma ADDIE meliputi fase Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi), dan Evaluasi.     The purpose of this study is to determine how the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in Sports on Rhythmic Gymnastics material in Public Elementary Schools in Ngabang District. There are 3 schools that are the place of research, namely Public Elementary School 10, Public Elementary School 1 and Public Elementary School 2. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research type. The sample in this study is at SDN 10 Ngabang totaling 29 students, SDN 2 Ngabang totaling 27 students and SDN 1 Ngabang totaling 29 students so the total number of samples is 85 students. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be seen that the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in rhythmic gymnastics at SDN 10 Ngabang got a score of 18.68 with a high category, the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in rhythmic gymnastics at SDN 2 Ngabang got a score of 15.89 with a medium category and the interest of male and female students in learning Physical Education in rhythmic gymnastics at SDN 1 Ngabang got a score of 18.09 with a high category.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah minat siswa dan siswi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Pada Olah Raga pada materi Senam Irama di Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Ngabang. Terdapat 3 sekolah yang menjadi tempat penelitian yaitu Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10, Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2. Penelitian ini  menggunakan jenis penelitian   deskriptif   kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah di SDN 10 Ngabang berjumlah 29 murid, SDN 2 Ngabang berjumlah 27 murid dan SDN 1 Ngabang berjumlah 29 murid jadi jumlah keseluruhan sampel sebanyak 85 murid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa minat siswa dan siswi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani pada olahraga senam irama di SDN 10 Ngabang mendapatkan skor 18.68 dengan kategori tinggi, minat siswa dan siswi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani pada olahraga senam irama di SDN 2 Ngabang mendapatkan skor 15.89 dengan kategori sedang dan minat siswa dan siswi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani pada olahraga senam irama di SDN 1 Ngabang mendapatkan skor 18.09 dengan kategori tinggi
