Algebra in Teacher Training in the Normal School of São Paulo: The First Teaching Programs of this Discipline
Get PDFThis text presents partial results of a research in development that aims to identify the purposes of Algebra in the formation of teachers in the Normal School of São Paulo, from 1880 to 1930. In this text, in particular, it is considered a specific period of time frame of research: mid-1890s; and in order to analyse the first programs of this discipline for the training of primary teachers, documents such as legislation, a compendium of Algebra and programs of teaching of the normal and secondary course are mobilized. It was found that in this period the teaching of Algebra for the future teacher was more restricted than that offered in the secondary course. This reduced format of the regular school program may be associated with the duration of normal course studies, lower than the secondary course, but mainly, for the different purposes of the courses
The Teaching of Arithmetic in the Teacher Training Course and the Constitution of an Expert in the Systematization of this Knowledge in Times of the New School (1950-1970)
Get PDFThis text seeks to highlight the processes of production, systematisation and objectivation of mathematical knowledge practised by the teacher Rizza de Araújo Porto in her trajectory, seeking to identify the constitution of her expertise in teacher training courses in the Normal courses, in Nova Escola times. In order to base the research, evidence was collected on how an expert constitutes itself in the pedagogical field, given its representativeness in its field of activity, showing the transformations of this notion over time. The text is guided by the questions: how was its convocation by the State to solve a practical problem concerning the formation of teachers in times of the New School? What are the supporting contexts that enabled the systematisation of the professional knowledge produced by it? In what way did the objectification of this knowledge occur and how did they become part of the professional training of teachers? The sources examined show the occurrence of processes of constitution of knowledge by teacher Rizza Porto, its systematisation and objectification, and the importance of putting mathematics to teach arithmetic in the route of fundamental knowledge in the course of teacher training, thus evidencing her expertise
O USO DA CORRENTE GALVÂNICA NAS ESTRIAS ATRÓFICAS: uma revisão bibliográfica
Get PDFObjetivo: Este estudo objetiva uma reflexão sobre a eficácia da Galvanopuntura no tratamento das estrias atróficas. Método: Esta revisão bibliográfica descreveu a utilização da corrente microgalvânica como forma de tratamento através de livros e artigos científicos dos últimos doze anos com a finalidade de relatar sua eficácia na restauração do aspecto da pele estriada. Os critérios de seleção dos artigos foram conter os descritores completos ou parte no título do trabalho e resumos, estarem escritos na língua portuguesa, inglesa e espanhol e conter uma das palavras-chaves. Resultados: De acordo com a revisão bibliográficas as técnicas aplicadas, observou-se eficácia do tratamento. Conclusão: É correto afirmar que utilização da galvanopuntura traz promover resultado satisfatório no tratamento das estrias atróficas, porém sugerem-se que sejam realizados novos estudos, pela escassez de literatura referente a protocolo.
Prevalência de distúrbios do sono e fatores associados em crianças de 0 a 3 anos de um bairro do sul do Brasil
Get PDFO objetivo do presente estudo foi verificar a prevalência de distúrbios do sono em crianças de 0 a 3 anos e respectivos fatores associados. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, no qual foram avaliados 47 bebês da Vila União Operária, em Canoas/RS. Os dados foram coletados nas residências das famílias, onde os responsáveis responderam a um questionário sobre distúrbios do sono. A prevalência de distúrbio de sono referido em bebês foi 40,4% e os fatores associados foram: bebês que têm dificuldade para iniciar o sono mais frequentemente, mães com falta de apoio nos cuidados do bebê, com falta de apetite, que dormem mal, com perda de interesse pelas coisas, que cansam com facilidade e com suspeita de Transtorno Mental Comum (TMC). A falta apoio das mães nos cuidados dos seus filhos e a saúde mental materna são fatores associados com distúrbio de sono em bebês
Treinamento em habilidades sociais: resultados de uma intervenção grupal no ensino superior
Get PDFO estudo tem por objetivo descrever o resultado de uma intervenção grupal de Treinamento em Habilidades Sociais (THS) com estudantes de graduação que apresentavam repertório deficitário de habilidades sociais e sintomas de ansiedade social, bem como investigar sintomas depressivos e de ansiedade em geral. A amostra foi composta por 22 estudantes e os instrumentos foram o Questionário de Ansiedade Social para Adultos (CASO) e as Escalas Beck de Depressão (BDI) e de Ansiedade (BAI). Os dados pós-intervenção do CASO mostraram diferenças no escore total e nos 5 fatores, em comparação com a avaliação inicial, em especial no fator 1- falar em público e interação com pessoas em posição de autoridade, bem como diminuição dos escores de sintomas depressivos e de ansiedade. Os resultados sugerem que o THS é uma intervenção que pode trazer benefÍcios aos participantes, com melhoras na interação grupal e no aumento da assertividade em situações difíceis
The Differential and Integral Calculus as a Professional Knowledge in the Training of the Graduate in Mathematics of the Faculty of Philosophy of Bahia (1942-1968)
Get PDFThis article was carried out within the scope of the research project entitled "Weaving the historical process of teacher professionalization, in the scope of mathematics, in its different levels of formation in Bahia, from 1925 to the 1980s". In it, we investigated historically the differential and integral calculus as a professional knowledge for the teaching of mathematics in basic school, in the formation of future mathematics teachers, in the period of 1942 – beginning of the operation of the mathematics course – until 1968, when that course was transferred to the Institute of Mathematics of the Federal University of Bahia, due to a university reform. In this intent, we made use, mainly, of the teaching programs of the chair of mathematical analysis, the current literature on the processes of professionalization of the mathematics teacher, as well as a theoretical-methodological debate involving the constitution of professional knowledge of teaching. With this investigation, we considered that the professional knowledge required in the mathematical analysis chair dealt with the knowledge to be taught that was intended for the teaching of mathematics in the secondary, which should be mastered by the training mathematics teachers of the Faculty of Philosophy. From this perspective, professional knowledge in this formation did not differ from that objectified and institutionalised to be taught in the mathematics discipline of secondary schools. Contribuições e principais intervenções da terapia cognitivo-comportamental no tratamento do transtorno bipolar
Get PDFEste trabalho tem como objetivo averiguar as contribuições da Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental no tratamento do Transtorno Bipolar e focar em aspectos específicos das intervenções realizadas no tratamento. O trabalho consiste em uma revisão narrativa sobre este tema. A busca bibliográfica foi realizada através dos sites pubmed e google acadêmico. Os resultados mostraram que a Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental auxilia na prevenção de recaídas, em episódios de humor mais curtos, menor número de hospitalizações e menor variabilidade dos sintomas maníacos. Dentre as principais técnicas utilizadas, a psicoeducação parece ser a mais utilizada e eficaz no tratamento do Transtorno Bipolar. No entanto, a farmacoterapia ainda é considerada a principal escolha no tratamento
Teaching the Topic of Money in Mathematics Classes in Primary School
Get PDFThis study analyzes the teaching of the topic of money in mathematics by a fifth-grade teacher. The research is naturalistic-descriptive and is based on a case study with non-participant observation. Indicators of didactical suitability of the onto-semiotic approach were used (ecological, mediational and cognitive suitability) were used in this analysis. With respect to ecological suitability, the context used by the teacher was related to the daily experiences of her students and she was aware of many aspects of the curriculum. Regarding mediational suitability, the teacher used a variety of technological and manipulative resources. Finally, in the case of cognitive suitability in the development of the various activities, students' previous knowledge and their individual differences were taken into account.This study analyzes the teaching of the topic of money in mathematics by a fifth-grade teacher. An Outlook at the Educational Mobile Apps to the Physics Subjects Available In the Android Operating System
Get PDFThe presence of smartphones in the classrooms have been the theme of big debates among those involved in educational spaces. It is undeniable that its inclusion in teaching and learning processes approaches the school to the world where the student is in and an important step to elaborate strategies which involves the smartphones use is to know the educational apps functionalities. In this context, this article is proposed to do a systematic mapping of free educational apps to the physics teaching, available at the Android operating system presented in most smartphones and available at Google Play Store. It was adopted as methodology a systematic mapping organized in four steps. At the first moment the research was made with the use of the word “Physics” and 250 apps were found, the second step was intended to select the apps with physics content in Portuguese, which brought the number of 42 apps. Following, the third step was intended to map the specific apps for the physics subjects, excluding those that present in their content several subjects or only exercises collection, finding, so, 25 apps. Lastly, in fourth step, it was made a description of the apps selected from step 3 with more than 10.000 downloads. What was noticed in the description is that practically none presents the contextualization of physical phenomena or simulations, they only highlight nature theoretical or mathematical descriptions
Dos primórdios à (quase) universalização dos planos de educação no Brasil: avanços e desafios no cenário contemporâneo
Get PDFEste artigo objetiva analisar avanços e desafios atinentes à formulação e materialização dos planos de educação, a partir de uma perspectiva histórica e contemporânea. Metodologicamente, vale-se de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Os resultados evidenciam que inexiste no Brasil uma tradição em pautar a educação mediante planos de Estado sistêmicos e de longo prazo, com a (quase) universalização dos planos subnacionais sendo ineditamente atingida somente na corrente década. Porém, os resultados indicam que a efetiva materialização destes planos demandará, além de sistemáticas de monitoramento e avaliação, uma radical alteração na rota política e econômica em curso, a qual inviabiliza a consecução das metas dos múltiplos planos vigentes
