Network isolation and virtualization with Cloudflare WARP
No full textPieaugot pieprasījumam pēc drošas un efektīvas tīkla arhitektūras, nulles uzticamības modeļi ir kļuvuši par modernu standarta drošības tīkla risinājumu. Projekta mērķis ir izveidot praktisku tīkla vidi uzņēmumā, lai nodrošinātu drošu piekļuvi ārējiem klientiem, izmantojot Cloudflare WARP un tunelēšanas tehnoloģijas. Projekta rezultātā, integrējot tīklā VLAN iekšējai segmentācijai un Cloudflare Zero Trust rīkus, lai savienotu attālinātus lietotājus ar tīkla iekšējiem resursiem, tīkla konfigurācija ietver Cisco komutatoru, MikroTik maršrutētāju kā Router on a Stick, darba staciju un NUC serveri un Palo Alto ugunsmūri, kas maršrutē datplūsmu caur uzņēmuma publisko tīklu uz Cloudflare. Ārējie klienti droši piekļūst iekšējiem resursiem, izmantojot WARP – VPN līdzīgu risinājumu, kas nodrošina šifrētu tuneļu savienojumu ar konkrētām ierīcēm.With the increasing demand for secure and efficient network architecture, Zero Trust models have become a modern standard for network security solutions. The goal of this project was to create a practical network environment within the company to ensure secure access for external clients using Cloudflare WARP and tunneling technologies. By integrating VLAN for internal segmentation and Cloudflare Zero Trust tools to connect remote users to internal network resources, the resulting network configuration includes a Cisco switch, a MikroTik router as a Router on a Stick, a workstation, a NUC server, and a Palo Alto firewall which routes traffic through the company’s public network to Cloudflare. External clients securely access internal resources using WARP—a VPN-like solution that provides encrypted tunnel connections to specific devices

Identification of Confidential Data in Documents Using Neural Networks
No full textŠī maģistra darba ietvaros tiek pētīta neironu tīklu izmantošana konfidenciālo datu identifikācijai dokumentos, kas ir svarīga problēma, ņemot vērā Vispārīgās datu aizsardzības regulas (GDPR) prasības. Darba ietvaros tika veikts eksperiments ar dažādām neironu tīklu arhitektūrām ar mērķi novērtēt neironu tīklu modeļu precizitāti konfidenciālās informācijas identificēšanā tekstveida dokumentos. Metodoloģija ietver salīdzinošu analīzi starp izmantotiem neironu tīklu modeļiem, koncentrējoties uz to atbilstību definētām prasībām. Pētījuma rezultāti apliecina, ka progresīvās mašīnmācīšanās tehnoloģijas var būtiski uzlabot datu aizsardzības risinājumus un nodrošināt augstāku precizitāti konfidenciālo datu identificēšanā.This master's thesis investigates the use of neural networks for identifying confidential data in documents, which is an important issue, taking into account the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As part of the work, an experiment was conducted with different neural network architectures with the aim of assessing the accuracy of neural network models in identifying confidential information in text-based documents. The methodology includes a comparative analysis between the used neural network models, focusing on their compliance with defined requirements. The results of the study confirm that advanced machine learning technologies can significantly improve data protection solutions and ensure higher accuracy in identifying confidential data
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in Company “GOTRIP”
No full textŠajā darbā tiek pētītas tūrisma uzņēmuma GoTrip klientu attiecību vadības (CRM) prakses, koncentrējoties uz pašreizējo stratēģiju izvērtēšanu un to atbilstību nozares standartiem. Darbā tiek apskatīti CRM teorētiskie aspekti, tā tehnoloģiskais pamats un pielietojums tūrisma nozarē. Analizējot GoTrip CRM sistēmas, piemēram, HubSpot un Mautic, kā arī aptaujas rezultātus, darbā identificēti galvenie izaicinājumi, tostarp ierobežota automatizācija, fragmentētas sistēmas un nepietiekams reāllaika atbalsts. Tiek piedāvāti konkrēti risinājumi šo izaicinājumu pārvarēšanai, piemēram, AI rīku ieviešana, platformu integrācija un darbinieku apmācības uzlabošana. Darbs izceļ CRM būtisko lomu klientu apmierinātības, darbības efektivitātes un konkurētspējas sasniegšanā tūrisma nozarē.This thesis explores the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practices of the tourism company GoTrip, focusing on the evaluation of current strategies and their alignment with industry standards. The study examines theoretical aspects of CRM, its technological foundations, and its application in the tourism industry. Through the analysis of GoTrip’s CRM systems, such as HubSpot and Mautic, alongside survey results, the work identifies key challenges, including limited automation, fragmented systems, and inadequate real-time support. The thesis proposes actionable recommendations to address these challenges, such as adopting AI-driven tools, integrating platforms, and enhancing employee training. The study highlights the critical role of CRM in achieving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage in the tourism sector

No full textBakalaura darba temats ir “CSDD 2024. gada sociālās kampaņas “Ceļš nav skrejceļš” komunikācija. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādas prasības un uzdevumus CSDD ir izvirzījis kampaņas plānošanai un kā tie ir ietekmējuši kampaņas rezultātus. Darba teorētiskajā pieejā ir izmantota L.Festingera “Kognitīvās disonanses teorija”, pie kuras strādājuši arī E.Griffins un D.Kūpers, kā arī D.Juskas un F.Kotlera darbi par integrētā mārketinga komunikāciju un L.Ērgles un N.Lī darbi par sociālo kampaņu plānošanu. Metodoloģijā tiek analizēti sekundārie dati un izmantota aptauja kvantitatīvu datu iegūšanai un daļēji strukturēta intervija, lai iegūtu kvalitatīvus datus. Rezultātos iespējams novērot, kā kognitīvā disonanse ietekmē dažādas mērķauditorijas lēmumu pieņemšanas procesos, un, cik tā var būt nozīmīga, plānojot kampaņas. Ir iespējams redzēt, cik svarīgs ir kampaņu plānošanas process, jo kampaņas forma uzliek papildu nosacījumus, kurus kampaņas plānošanas procesā ir jāņem vērā.The topic of this bachelor's thesis is “The communication of the CSDD 2024 social campaign “The road is not a runway””. The aim of the work is to investigate what requirements and tasks CSDD has set for campaign planning and how they have affected the results of the campaign. The theoretical framework utilizes L. Festinger's "Cognitive Dissonance Theory", which has been further developed by authors such as E.A.Griffin and J.Cooper. The thesis also examines the works of J.M. Juska and F. Kotler on integrated marketing communication and the works of L. Eagle and N. Lee on social campaign planning. The methodology analyses secondary data and uses a survey to obtain quantitative data and a semi-structured interview to obtain qualitative data. In the results, it is possible to observe how cognitive dissonance affects different target audiences in decision-making processes, and how important it can be when planning campaigns. It is possible to see how important the campaign planning process is because the campaign form imposes additional conditions that must be taken into account in the campaign planning process

No full textBakalaura darbā “Demokrātiskās institūcijas Krievijā: vēsturiskie un politiskie aspekti (1999-2008.)” autors cenšas izpētīt postpadomju telpas jaunākās vēstures aspektus, proti, varas resursu transformācijas procesus uz Krievijas Federācijas piemēra. Vairāki vadošie speciālisti socioloģijas un politoloģijas jomā iezīmē pakāpeniskas pārejas procesus no autoritārā varas modeļa uz totalitāro minētajā valstī. Pamatojoties uz pieejamo dokumentālo bāzi, kā arī uz historiogrāfiju, elektronisko periodiku un politisko literatūru, tika paveikts darbs, lai atklātu būtiskas izmaiņas vispārpieņemtajos demokrātiskajos mehānismos, proti, velēšanas tiesībās un preses brīvībā. Tika izskatīta to ietekme uz politisko un sociālo ainavu Krievijas Federācijas teritorijā laikā no 1999. līdz 2008. gadam.In the bachelor's thesis "Democratic institutions in Russia: historical and political aspects (1999-2008)", the author tries to research the aspects of the recent history of the post-Soviet space, namely the processes of transformation of power resources on the example of the Russian Federation. Several leading specialists in the field of sociology and political science outline the processes of gradual transition from the authoritarian power model to the totalitarian one in the mentioned country. Based on the available documentary base, as well as on historiography, electronic periodicals and political literature, work was done to reveal significant changes in the accepted democratic mechanisms, namely in this bachelor’s thesis - voting rights and freedom of the press. No full textKapitālsabiedrības valdes locekļa atbildības par tai radītajiem zaudējumiem tiesību institūta uzdevums ir nodrošināt, ka kapitālsabiedrībai nav jācieš negatīvas mantiskās sekas saistībā ar valdes locekļa rīcību. Vienlaikus tiesiskajam regulējumam ir jāveicina ne tikai kapitālsabiedrības interešu aizsardzība, bet arī valdes locekļu un trešo personu interešu aizsardzība, tādēļ praksē jāpanāk līdzsvars starp visu iepriekš minēto interešu ievērošanu. Tas rada izaicinājumus tiesiskajā sistēmā nodrošināt efektīvu komerctiesisko apgrozību. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt kapitālsabiedrības valdes locekļa atbildības institūta funkcijas, lai identificētu problemātiku saistībā ar valdes locekļa atbildības institūta piemērošanu un piedāvātu risinājumus valdes locekļa atbildības piemērošanas uzlabošanai. Darbā ir identificēti vairāki problēmjautājumi, norādīti potenciālie problēmjautājumu risinājumi, kā arī raksturotas aktualitātes par turpmāko valdes atbildības institūta attīstības iespējamo virzienu Eiropas Savienībā.Legal provisions regarding the liability of a board member of a capital company for losses caused to the company are targeted to ensure that the capital company does not have to suffer any adverse financial consequences in relation to actions performed by its board members. At the same time, the legal framework shall contribute not only to the protection of the interests of the capital company but also to the protection of the interests of the board members and third parties; hence, a balance among all aforementioned interests shall be achieved in practice. Such consideration presents a challenge to ensure an efficient scope of commercial rights within the legal system. The aim of the Master’s thesis is to evaluate the functions of a capital company board member’s liability to identify problematic aspects in relation to the application of the board member’s liability and to recommend solutions for improving the application of the board member’s liability. The thesis identifies various problem issues, suggests potential solutions to those problems and examines issues directed on further development of the board member liability legal framework in the European Union

No full textMazie publiskie iepirkumi kā viena no zemsliekšņa iepirkuma metodēm Latvijā, sastāda gandrīz pusi no visiem veiktajiem publiskā sektora iepirkumiem kopā. Līdz ar to, mazo iepirkumu metodei, kā “mazvērtīgai” iegādei būtu jābūt vienkāršam, atvieglotam un efektīvam instrumentam šādu iegāžu veikšanā. Latvijā prakse rāda un normatīvie akti paredz mazo iepirkumu veikšanu nepamatoti sarežģītā un pastiprināti regulētā procesā. Tiesiskie aizsardzības līdzekļi mazajos iepirkumos ir paredzēti tikai uzreiz ar pārsūdzību vēršoties tiesā, lielākoties, pieteicējiem lūdzot atzīt iepirkuma komisijas lēmumu par prettiesisku un piedzīt zaudējumu atlīdzību neiegūtās peļņas veidā. Pētījumā “Publisko iepirkumu likuma 9.panta iepirkuma metodes lietderība un piemērošanas juridiskās problēmas” darba autors noskaidros mazo iepirkumu metodes piemērošanas juridiskās un procedurālās problēmas Latvijā, metodes lietderību un nepieciešamību Publisko iepirkumu likumā kā arī mazo iepirkumu tiesisko aizsardzības līdzekļu efektivitāti. Pētījuma ietvaros tiks konstatēta mazo iepirkumu līgumcenu sliekšņu gradācijas un metodes nelietderība un šādu iegāžu apgrūtinātā un sarežģītā procesa esamība Latvijā, kā arī, neefektīvie publisko iepirkumu tiesiskie aizsardzības līdzekļi zaudējumu piedziņas gadījumos neiegūtās peļņas pierādīšanas kontekstā. Pētījuma noslēgumā izstrādāti priekšlikumi mazo publisko iepirkumu iegāžu uzlabošanā un pilnveidošanā, kā arī, ieteikumi izmaiņām tiesiskās aizsardzības līdzekļos mazajos publiskajos iepirkumos. Consequently, the small procurement method, as a "low-value" acquisition, should be a simple, facilitated and effective tool for such acquisitions. In Latvia, practice shows and legislation provides for small purchases to be made in an unduly complex and heavily regulated process. Remedies in small procurement are limited to immediate recourse to the courts, mostly by applicants seeking a declaration that the decision of the procurement committee is unlawful and damages in the form of lost profits. In the study "The usefulness and legal problems of the application of the procurement method of Article 9 of the Public Procurement Law", the author of the study will clarify the legal and procedural problems of the application of the small procurement method in Latvia, the usefulness and necessity of the method in the Public Procurement Law and the effectiveness of legal remedies for small procurements. The study will identify the ineffectiveness of the small purchase threshold gradation and the method and the existence of a cumbersome and complex process for such acquisitions in Latvia, as well as the ineffective legal remedies for public procurement in recovering damages in the context of proving the existence of lost profits. The study concludes with proposals for improving and streamlining small public procurement acquisitions, as well as recommendations for changes in remedies in small public procurement.
