At the beginning of 2019, corn farmers in Indonesia had to face a new problem, namely the reduction of maize yields due to the attack of the Spodoptera frugiperda pest. S. frugiperda attack cause economic losses. In this case, proper control is needed so that these pests will not cause massive losses. One of them is controlled by using predatory arthropods. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out an inventory of predatory arthropods in corn plantations. This paper aimed to identified predatory arthropod species to controlled S. frugiperda pests in maize plantations. The methodology was carried out by literature review of journals and related articles. The predator found in the maize crop were from the Formicidae family. The species found were Camponatus sp, Camponatus sericeus, Pheidole sp, Oecophylla langinoda, Branchyponnera sennaarenis, megaponera sp, Pheidole megachepala. Other arthropods spesies found were Chrysoperla externa, Ceraeochrysa cubana, Pheidole megacephala (Hymenoptera: Formicidae), Haematochares obscuripennis, and Peprius nodulipes (Hemiptera: Reduviidae). Thus, the amount of spesies have been found were 3 species of predatory arthropods from the order Neuroptera, 1 species from the order Mantodea, 3 species from the order Dermaptera, 10 species from the order Hymenoptera, 3 species from the order Coleoptera, 1 species from the order Hemiptera, 1 species from the order Diptera and 2 species have been found. of the order Araneae

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Petroleum production exploration activities, in addition to producing crude oil, also produce waste in the form of sludge containing chemicals that are toxic to the environment. Hydrocarbonoclastic mold is a type of mold that can decompose hydrocarbon compounds contained in the sludge into smaller and environmentally friendly fractions. This study aimed to find out the ability of mixed culture of hydrocarbonoclastic indigenous molds by treatment with sludge:top soil, N:P:K ratio and type of bulking agent. The design for the treatment used a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern with three treatment factors: sludge:top soil ratio of 1:1 and 2:1, N:P:K ratio of 5:1:0,5 and 10:1:0,5, bulk agent in the form of sawdust and rice husk weighing 5% of the total sludge: top soil.  The number of treatment combinations consisted of 8 units and each unit was made 3 treatments.  The results of the study showed that the combination treatment between the sludge:top soil ratio of 1:1, the ratio of N:P:K of 10:1:0.5 and the type of bulking agent in the form of rice husks decreased most highly in the percentage of total petroleum hydrocarbon degradation, which was 74.2%.  And the interaction of three treatment factors, namely sludge: top soil, N:P:K ratio and the type of bulking agent gave an effect on the percentage reduction in total petroleum hydrocarbon. Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).  The high demand for fishery products has resulted in cultivators implementing intensive and even super intensive cultivation systems. The intensification of fish farming is characterized by an increase in stocking density followed by an increase in the use of artificial feed which has the potential to become waste and cause disease. To overcome this, alternative actions that are safer and also effective for controlling fish diseases are needed. One alternative is to use herbal plants that are anti-bacterial. By using herbal plants, it will be safer, easier to obtain and also not pose a danger to the surrounding environment. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of lemongrass stem extract to treat bacterial disease in fish caused by Edwarsiella tarda. Some research results showed that Cymbopogon citratus extract is rich in benefits in herbal medicine. Cymbopogon citratus extract had antibacterial properties that could inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria in fish. Phytochemical test results, lemongrass extract contained secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids, phenolics or tannins or flavonoids and saponins. Based on the results of in vitro tests on lemongrass stem extract, it was able to inhibit the growth of Edwarsiella tarda bacteria where the inhibition zone formed after the media was incubated for 24 hours with a size of 21 mm. This proved that lemongrass stem extract can inhibit the growth of Edwarsiella tarda bacteria based on the results of the inhibition test

    Daerah Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir merupakan salah satu daerah yang memiliki Cekungan Air Tanah (CAT) yaitu Cekungan Air Tanah Palembang - Kayuagung. Pada daerah penelitian ini didominasi oleh rawa, dapat mempengaruhi kualitas air tanah. Daerah penelitian memiliki jumlah penduduk 42.402 jiwa dengan kebutuhan air bersih 243.546.250L/Tahun. Lokasi penelitian terdapat 2 macam formasi geologi yaitu  Alluvium (Qa) dan endapan rawa (Qs). Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendapatkan kualitas air tanah dangkal pada wilayah telitian, dapat diidentifikasikan sebagai air bersih untuk kebutuhan masyarakat. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis lapangan  dengan  menggunakan uji lab fisik dan kimia air.     Sungai merupakan aliran air di permukaan yang besar dan berbentuk memanjang yang mengalir secara terus-menerus dari hulu (sumber) menuju hilir (muara). Sungai Sei Kikim merupakan Sub Daerah Aliran Sungai Musi yang mengaliri daerah Pseksu, Kabupaten Lahat. Sungai mengalami perubahan yang dinamis, oleh karena sifat tersebut dapat berdampak negatif yakni salah satunya dapat meningkatkan risiko banjir.     Vegetasi pada lahan bantaran sungai merupakan bagian penting dalam penjernihan air untuk menjaga ekosistem lahan basah pada bantaran sungai. Vegetasi mempengaruhi kualitas lahan basah di bantaran sungai. Jenis vegetasi lahan basah memiliki berbagai jenis dengan perbedaan ukuran, manfaat, dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh vegetasi terhadap aliran dan tingkat kekeruhan genangan di ruang terbuka permukiman sepanjang bantaran Sungai Musi, Palembang. Sebagian besar permukiman ini tidak memiliki sistem pembuangan limbah dan sampah. Limbah toilet rumah-rumah tersebut langsung dialirkan ke lingkungan sekitar yang tergenang serta sebagian besar warga membuang sampahnya di ruang terbuka di pinggir sungai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi lapangan untuk menganalisis distribusi dan korespondensi antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis vegetasi yang paling dominan di bantaran sungai Musi adalah tumbuhan perdu air. Ruang terbuka dengan tanaman penutup rapat memiliki aliran sungai dan pasang surut yang tersumbat. Ini meningkatkan tingkat berlumpur dan bau air yang tergenang. Vegetasi dapat menjernihkan air, tetapi juga menghambat aliran air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi tanaman air sebagai penjernih air tidak berjalan dengan baik pada saat sampah dan limbah memenuhi bantaran sungai

These changes include those in the nomenclature of environmental permits to environmental approvals and changes to environmental management and protection permits to technical approvals.  The lack of understanding of this regulation by ASN (civil servant) in the Office of Environment of Banyuasin District has caused confusion and concern for business actors in managing environmental permits.  This study aimed to find out the level of understanding of ASN of the Office of  Environment and Business Actors in Banyuasin District regarding the application of Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 which resulted in non-optimal services in the management of environmental permits The method was random by conducting interviews and questionnaires to 10 ASN and 20 business actors in Banyuasin District. The results of this study showed that ASN's understanding of this regulation reached almost 50 percent and that of business actors reached 80 percent.  In conclusion, there was still a very minimal understanding of ASN and Business Actors on the Implementation of Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021. It is necessary to carry out Socialization and Technical Guidance to improve understanding of Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021

It is only used as fertilizers and handicrafts in fewer quantities in Indonesia.  Biomass of water hyacinth can be a local feed raw material which is expected to be a raw material for fish feed potentially especially herbivorous fish such as tawes fish . In addition to water hyacinth, bagasse waste as raw material for fish feed can be one solution. Technological innovation is needed to increase the nutrient content of sugarcane waste which is still low. Making probiotic fermented feed can be used as an alternative to improve the nutrition and digestibility of feed. Degradation of organic compounds can be done with the help of cellulolytic, ligninolytic, and hemicellulolytic bacteria and fungi. In addition to reducing the quantity of waste, it also supports sustainable aquaculture policies. The study aims to reduce water hyacinth weeds in the waters and to utilize bagasse which was considered waste so far as an alternative feed for herbivorous fish.  The results obtained from this review are the manufacture of alternative feeds from water hyacinth and bagasse can be a cheap alternative feed that can support fish growth. It is expected to be an alternative feed made from local weeds and a cheap industrial by-product for herbivorous fish farming

    Pengaruh Ukuran Bulbil terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Porang (Amorphophallus oncophyllus Prain)

The glukomanan in Porang plant (Amorphophallus konjac. Koch) was potential on many aspects such of nutrition, included of fungsional food,additive food and also it’s derivate.To prepare the plant material for propagation need the qualified and similar in bulbils size of Porang plant. The aim of the research was find out the response growth of various bulbil weight size.  The experiment was organized by completely random designed.The units experiment where each type of bulbil were grown with 3 replications. Each unit experiment consisted of 24 bulbils. The treatments were average weight size of each bulbils, that were A. 9,69 g/bulbil, B. 10,74 g/bulbil, dan C. 12,98 g/bulbil.The ANOVA test was applied to all data.The result showed that differences in bulbils average weight size significantly affected the germination percentage and the shoot height of porang plants, but not significantly affected the rate of germination and also the sum of shoot  leaflets. The best results for all parameter were given by bulbils derived from 10,74 g/bulbil on average weight size of bulbils and no significant with 9,69 g/bulbil, thats were responsed in high germination percentage (58% to 86%) for 4 weeks seedling bed and also in shoots height (32 cm to 42,8cm) of 4 weeks polibag nursery with leaftlets amount in range of 7,7 to 10,7 sheets/plant. As the conclusion of the weigth size of bulbils was that light weight size resulted high germination percentage and also shoot height of Porang plant. Dormancy was affected of weight size of bulbils, that was indicated in low germination response of heavy one of bulbils
