Inventarisasi Spesies Hama pada Tanaman Ubi Kayu (Manihot esculante Crantz) di Desa Tanjung Pering, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).One of the main obstacles to cassava cultivation is pest attacks which can reduce production and are very detrimental to farmers. Species of pests on cassava plants include mealybugs, red mites and so on. These pests can cause direct damage to plants. This survey aimed to find out several species of pests found in cassava plants and to see firsthand the damage caused by these pests. The method used in this study is a survey method, namely observation (direct observation) on cassava plantations in Tanjung Pering Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. Based on the results of this survey, the types of pests that attack the cassava plant (Manihot esculante Crantz) are the mealybug species (Phenacoccus manihoti Matile-Ferrero), the urethral pest species (Xylenthropus) and the red mite pest species (Tetranychus Urticae Koch). The mealybugs and red mites attack the leaves, precisely on the back of the leaf bones and for the urethic pests attack the underground roots. So, it can be concluded that there are three pests that attack cassava plants, namely red mites, mealybugs and uret which cause some damage to cassava plants. Preferably, in field surveys it would be better if you document using a macro lens to make it look clearer

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Horticultural crops with the green house method can be carried out in a controlled manner in the cultivation process and help overcome the narrowing of agricultural land. This survey aimed to find out how to cultivate and what types of horticultural plants can be grown using the green house method. The research method is carried out by means of surveys and interviews with green house owners by paying attention to the components in making green houses starting from seeds, cultivation and harvest yields. Green houses can protect plants from plant pests that come from outside without blocking the entry of light. The arrangement of horticultural plants based on their types can add an element of beauty so that they can be used as new tourist attractions. The use of greenhouses for horticultural crops is a solution to the limited land area for growing various types of plants, both vegetables and others, as well as developing contextual media. The use of green houses in plant cultivation is one way to provide a more accessible environment for optimum position conditions for plant growth. So with the application of horticultural cultivation with the green house method, it is able to facilitate farmers in the cultivation process, especially in land use, overcoming pests and maintaining air humidity. Pengaruh Jenis dan Konsentrasi Anti Browning Agent terhadap Warna Tepung Talas Beneng (Xanthosoma undipes K. Koch)

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Taro beneng (Xanthosoma undipes K. Koch) is a local tuber commodity that has the potential to be processed into flour. One of the problems found in flour processing is browning. Enzyme inactivation using anti browning agent is one way to prevent browning. This study aimed to learn the effect of type and concentration of anti browning agent on color of taro beneng flour. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design with two treatment factors, namely type of anti browning agent (sodium metabisulfite and ascorbic acid), and concentration of anti browning agent (500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, 2000 ppm). The results showed that type of anti browning agent had significant effect on values of lightness, redness, yellowness, browning index, and the degree of whiteness of taro beneng flour, while concentration of the anti browning agent had significant effect on value of redness of beneng taro flour. The interaction between type and concentration of anti browning agent had no significant effect on all parameters. Lightness and degree of whiteness values of taro beneng flour with anti browning agent sodium metabisulfite were higher than taro beneng flour with ascorbic acid

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Most of the mineral soils in swamps contain iron and under anaerobic and low pH, Fe3+ is reduced to Fe2+ which is easily soluble and absorbed by roots. Excessive of Fe2+ cause toxicity plants which will interference various plant metabolism. Iron is absorbed by roots into the root tissue, then transported through the xylem to the shoots. Precipitation of Fe2+ in plant tissues causes excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), especially hydroxyl radical (OH-) through Fenton reacion, thereby damaging cell structures, membranes, DNA, and protein in plants. This paper will discuss how plant can avoid excess iron in the root area. The root tip is the first part that will get iron toxicity. At the tip of the root (root cap) produces cells called root border cells (RBCs) which play a role in protecting the roots from abiotic stress. In flooded conditions, there is a release of oxygen into the rhizosphere by aerenchyma, or called radial oxygen loss (ROL) which will induce the formation of iron plaque. The formation of iron plaque will the interfere with the absorption of root nutritions. One of the tolerance mechanisms that occur at the root level is the exclusion evasion through the ROL barrier and the entry of iron by forming lignin in the root cell wall
APLIKASI MODEL KENYAMANAN KOLCABA PADA ANAK KANKER YANG MENDAPAT KEMOTERAPI DENGAN MASALAH FATIGUE
Tujuan: Fatigue merupakan gejala paling sering dialami oleh anak dengan kanker selama pengobatan dapat terjadi dikarenakan oleh kondisi medis, faktor biokimia maupun psikologis. Tujuan studi kasus ini untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan pada anak dengan kanker yang mengalami masalah fatigue dengan menggunakan pendekatan Teori Kenyamanan Kolcaba. Metode: Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus terhadap asuhan keperawatan dengan mengaplikasikan Teori Kenyamanan Kolcaba. Hasil: Intervensi yang diberikan berdasarkan prinsip Teori Kenyamanan Kolcaba, standard comfort, coaching, dan comfort food for the soul memberikan hasil yang cukup baik terhadap penurunan skor kelelahan pada anak dengan kanker. Simpulan: Asuhan keperawatan berdasarkan Teori Kenyamanan Kolcaba dapat digunakan pada anak kanker yang mengalami masalah fatigue. Intervensi yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan standard comfort, coaching dan comfort food for the soul diharapkan anak mampu beradaptasi dengan setiap respon tubuh yang terganggu hingga anak mencapai tujuan transcendence. ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KELUARGA DENGAN MASALAH DEFISIT PENGETAHUAN ANEMIA DAN IMPLIKASI PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG ANEMIA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI
Tujuan: Anemia adalah keadaan dimana hemoglobin dalam darah kurang dari nilai normal yang dapat mempengaruhi kebutuhan oksigen dalam tubuh sehingga menyebabkan penurunan daya ingat, kemampuan fisik dan pertumbuhan serta aktivitas harian. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan tingginya angka kejadian anemia pada remaja putri yakni pengetahuan yang kurang mengenai definisi, penyebab, dampak, serta pencegahan dan penanggulangan anemia. Pemberian pendidikan kesehatan mengenai anemia melalui media video menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan keluarga terutama remaja putri tentang anemia. Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah ini adalah untuk memberikan asuhan keperawatan keluarga dengan menggunakan media video untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai anemia. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil: Hasil pengkajian ketiga keluarga kelolaan didapatkan diagnosis keperawatan yaitu defisit pengetahuan mengenai anemia berhubungan dengan ketidakmampuan keluarga mengenalmasalah anemia dan penatalaksanaan anemia. Ketiga keluarga kelolaan ini telah mendapatkan asuhan keperawatan serta penatalaksanaannya yaitu dengan pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang anemia menggunakan media video yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan. Simpulan: Adapun pemberian pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan media video membuktikan bahwa terdapat perubahan peningkatan pengetahuan klien mengenai anemia dan penatalaksanaannya sehingga media tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media untuk edukasi kesehatan pada keluarga. This survey is aimed at seeing how plant labor USES NFT's hydroponics system and analyzing the yield. The method used was interviews from direct observation to farmers. Using the NFT hydroponic system is one of the hydroponic methods with a minimal flow of water and a tilted slant on the installation module. Also, by using hydroponic farming systems, you can maximize narrow-to-yield yield. As for the results of plant cultivation with NFT's hydroponics system, one of which is the plant plants that grow faster. Moreover, the output of this system is larger than the size of the plant plants. From the standpoint of rooting control, it is also easier to reduce the risk of rooting down. Then maintenance is also more practical and requires less energy. Therefore, the average use of NFT's hydroponics system would be greater in maintenance, control, and plant production. Removing moss from a maximum hydroponic installation two times over a harvest would reduce the development of the moss in a paralytic pipet
Inventarisasi Serangga Hama dan Predator pada Pertanaman Kacang Panjang (Vigna sinensis L.) di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Pest control on long bean plants by utilizing natural enemies is part of a control method that emphasizes ecological aspects that are safe and recommended. This study aimed to determine the presence and availability of insect pests and predatory insects in long bean plantations. The types of traps used in this study were Pitfall Trap, Yellow Trap, and Sweep Net. Observations and sampling were carried out in the vegetative phase of long bean plants in three villages: Tanjung Seteko, Tanjung Pering and Permata Villages. Then, the trapped insects were put into vials that had been given 70% alcohol and identified using identification guidebooks and journals. Based on the results of the research, the insect pests found were Agelastica alni, Aphis craccivora, Aulocophora similis, Aulacophora femoralis, Bactrocera triyoni, Bactrocera dorsalis, Nezara viridula, Proxys punctulatus, Riptortus linearis, Sehirus cenctus, Spodoptera litoralis, Maruca vitrata, Brachyplatys subaeneus, Dissosteira carolina. While the predatory insects found were Coccinella transversalis, Pantala flavescens, Proctacanthus milbertii, Stagmomantis carolina, Anax parthenope, Odontoponera denticulate and Oecophylla smaradigna. The highest number of insects obtained were from pests with a total of 14 species with the most from the order Hemiptera. Thus, the availability of insect pests and predators in long bean plantations is different because farmers apply synthetic insecticides so that pest insect species dominate. Based on the observations and analysis of the results, the authors suggest that this research can be redeveloped by making observations in two phases, namely the vegetative and generative phases.
Pembuatan Effervescent Kopi Robusta Hijau (Coffee robusta) dengan Campuran Bubuk Bji Alpukat (Persea americana Mill) sebagai Minuman Instan Fungsional

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Functional instant drinks containing antioxidants are booming among the public, but most of them still require a stirring process so they need to be converted into effervescent tablets to speed up dissolution. This research aimed to determine the selected formulations and the addition of avocado seed powder and green robusta coffee powder to the physical, chemical and organoleptic characteristics of effervescent tablets. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) Factorial with 12 level of treatment and each was repeated 3 times. Treatment factors included the addition of avocado seed powder ( A1 = 20 % b/b; A2 = 15 % b/b; A3 = 10 % b/b; A4 = 0 % ) b/b) and robusta coffee powder green ( B1 = 0 %; B2 = 10 %; B3 = 20 % ). This results showed that the addition of avocado seed powder and green robusta coffee powder had a significant effect of antioxidant activity, water content, soluble time, hardness, and organoleptic. Based on the results of the study, it was that the treatment of choice for effervescent tablets was the A3B2 treatment (10 % avocado seed powder ; 10 % green robusta coffee powder) from sensory test results with an average value of antioxidant activity (IC50) of 63,12 ppm, water content 4,34 %, hardness 110,096 kgf, soluble time 1,39 minutes, color sensory characteristics 6,47, aroma 6,2 and taste 5,87
