In: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal ke-10 Tahun 2022, Palembang 27 Oktober 2022. pp. 302-308.  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Ogan Ilir Regency is one of the lime (Citrus aurantifolia swingle) producing areas in South Sumatera, with farmers who grow lime as a household garden business for their daily life, now turning to the plantation business. However, the lack of attention from the owner in the sustainability of this plantation, so that plantation processing does not get optimal results. This survey activity aimed to determine the management of lime plantations in Palem Raya Village, Tanjung Pering Village, and Seribandung Village. The method used is direct interviews with the perpetrators and the lime garden cultivation. The results of the survey that we conducted in the 3 villages showed that lime plants experienced less than optimal productivity in terms of fruit and stem growth because they were not taken care of by their owners. Lack of care by garden owners such as not cleaning new shoots so that plants absorb nutrients optimally, applying fertilizers are not in accordance with plant needs, and pests that attack limes such as fruit flies, aphids and leafhoppers. The conclusion from this survey is the productivity of the citrus plantations in the 3 villages is less than optimal, where in the three locations the fruit produced is still experiencing a lot of damage because it is not taken care of. The advice we can give is for lime plantation farmers to do more maintenance by clearing the land, giving fertilizers at the right dose and time, and giving pesticides regularly. So that optimal product results are obtained

The biofloc system is a technology that utilizes bacteria that are able to destroy waste and maintain water quality with the advantage of being able to maximize narrow land, environmentally friendly, feed efficiency and high productivity. Therefore, the use of a biofloc system for swamp fish farming is very helpful for farmers because they can get increased yields from a limited pond area and save on feed costs. So the cultivation technology using a biofloc system is highly recommended to be developed in swamp fish farming. This study aimed to study the effect of the biofloc system on the productivity of swamp fish farming production. This activity is carried out by looking at and comparing several related scientific journals and then getting the best knowledge for the biofloc system in swamp fish

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) can convert solar energy into electrical energy using organic matter (dye) as a sensitizer, but it necessary to innovate on dye so that resulting efficiency is optimal. The purpose of this research was to determine the electrical performance of Dye Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) with varied dye concentrations of Bungur Leaf Extract (Lagerstroemis speciosa). The research methods included the preparation of the DSSC structure, the preparation and assembly of the DSSC, and DSSC analysis. The chlorophyll content in the leaves of Bungur was calculated based on the absorbance characteristics at wavelengths of 649 nm and 665 nm. The results of the measurement of chlorophyll levels in Bungur leaves were directly proportional to the addition of concentration. The higher the solvent concentration, the more chlorophyll would bind dye. At concentrations of 2% to 8%, the efficiency increased with the values respectively 0.0018%, 0.0047%, 0.0054%, and 0.0114%. Afterwards, at the highest concentration of 10%, the efficiency decreased by 0.0050%. The chlorophyll content in the leaf dye affected the performance of DSSC at a certain concentration limit which was due to the accumulation of dye molecules in the TiO2 pores

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Mining activities can cause a decrease in soil productivity. Pb is one of the metals commonly found in post-tin mining areas. The purpose of the study was to determine the analysis of growth and metal content of Pb contained in forage animal feed. The green growth analysis of animal feed was carried out using an experimental method using a randomized block design (RAK) by using several improvements. Analysis of feed quality and Pb content by carrying out various combinations of animal feed mixtures with forage base materials cultivated in post-tin mining land. The results showed different growth responses of animal feed to the provision of several improvements. Giving growth regulators PGR gives better plant growth. Giving mycorrhizae can reduce the use of NPK fertilizers. Analysis of the quality and content of Pb showed the results were on the threshold. Analysis of animal feed cultivated in post-tin mining shows that it is safe for livestock consumption

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Catfish (Pangasius sp.) is one of the most widely cultivated freshwater fish commodities. The current problem that occurs related to catfish yields lies in the location and application of different cultivation systems. This study aimed to determine the differences in the best farmed production results of catfish in three different villages. The method carried out is to conduct a interviews, field observations, and literature reviews. Interviews were conducted directly to fish farmers in Burai Village, Ulak Segelung Village, and Tanjung Pering as resource persons as well as conducting field observations with several literature studies on the source of information on the topic of discussion. The results showed that the location and application of different cultivation systems will affect the production of catfish. Cultivation location in Tanjung Pering Village with the use of water sources derived from rivers given alum and soda ash produce high production yields. While the best feeding frequency is applied in Burai Village by giving feed once a day at night using commercial pellets and additional feed in the form of fish - small fish is the best feeding method that produces high production results, followed up so that it can be applied to catfish farmers so that it can produce high production results. So it can be concluded that the best method of application. treatment and water is the villages of Tanjung Pering while the best method of applying feed is Burai Village. This activity needs to be followed up to get better implementation

Palembang: Penerbit & Pencetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Insect pests and predators that attack cassava in three villages of Ogan Ilir Regency, namely Tanjung Pering, Burai, and Timbangan villages. The purpose of the study was to determine insect pests and predators on cassava plants in Ogan Ilir that could interfere with the growth of cassava. The materials used in this study were smartphone cameras and stationery. In this study using the observation method, where this method is carried out by direct observation and recording the results of observations. The results obtained in observational research are insect pests, there are insect species L. migratoria manilensis Meyen, Pseudococcus viburni, Bothrogonia addita, Leptocorisa oratorius. And predatory insects are Dolichoderus thoracicus species. The conclusion that can be obtained is that behind cassava which is easy to plant and care for, there are several obstacles ranging from the number of pests that cause damage to cassava plants. The damage caused by insect pests will be very detrimental to farmers, especially in Indonesia. It is recommended that further research is important to determine the effect of cropping patterns and location characteristics on the diversity of pests and predators. As well as linking pests and predators with cassava yields

So that the allocation of working time greatly affects the success of the farming business. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the allocation of working time and the economic conditions of farmers on Kemaro Island, Palembang City. This study has used a survey method with simple random sampling. The number of samples that have been taken is 44 respondents or 55% of the population. The results of this study showed that the total allocation of working time for farmer families was 367.12 HOK / year. In detail, the allocation for agriculture is 56.06 HOK/year and 311.06 HOK/year allocation for non-agricultural. The socioeconomic condition of farming families is relatively low, as evidenced by the fact that 36% of farming families are below the poverty line and the rest are close to poor.  There is a significant relationship between the allocation of working time and the economic conditions of the farming family. It can be concluded that the condition of farmers on tidal lands with a low level of soil fertility, infrastructure and technology, the allocation of working time is an important factor for improving the socioeconomic conditions of farmer families. There is a significant relationship between the allocation of working time and the income of farmer’s family

The food situation in Bandung City is that almost 96% of the food in Bandung City is imported from outside the Bandung City area, making it vulnerable to food insecurity regarding food availability and sufficiency. The Bandung City Government established an integrated urban farming program called Buruan SAE. This program takes the form of community empowerment activities which aim to overcome food inequality through the use of yards or empty land to make people more independent in meeting their own food needs. This research aimed to describe a form of community empowerment through an integrated urban farming program in the Buruan SAE Pemuda Mandiri group, Sukawarna Subdistrict, Bandung City. Apart from that, this research is an effort to improve urban farming that is suitable for the city of Bandung in the future. The method uses qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation, and literature studies. Interviews were conducted in March 2023 with active administrators of Buruan SAE Pemuda Mandiri and supporting informants. The research results show that the stages of community empowerment through the urban farming program in the Pemuda Tangguh farmer group go through three stages, namely the awareness, capacity building, and empowerment stages. Urban farming has a sustainable impact on the economic aspect by meeting their own food needs and gaining profits from the harvest. In the socio-cultural aspect, creating a culture of cooperation and helping each other in food security and the ecological aspect, creating green open spaces in urban areas. Based on the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that the Buruan SAE Pemuda Mandiri urban farming program shows that community empowerment is being realized well

The public can provide perceptions of the Mina Padi program through the characteristics of innovation contained in the program, namely based on the relative advantages that can be obtained, complexity, suitability to the local environment, as well as results and examples. This research aimed to measure the perception and level of community satisfaction with the Mina Padi Program and analyze the relationship between perception and the level of community satisfaction with the success of the Mina Padi Program in Sungai Rebo Village, Banyuasin Regency. This research used a survey method by conducting interviews and questionnaires with 30 members of the Bina Tani Berkah community group who received the benefits of the Mina Padi Program. The types of data used in this research were primary data and secondary data. The data processing method to answer the first objective used the Likert scale method, then to answer the second objective used the Spearman Rank correlation test. The research results showed the public's perception of the Mina Padi Program was relatively high. The level of community satisfaction with the Mina Padi Program in Sungai Rebo Village was satisfaction. Based on the results of Spearman's analysis, it was known that there is a significant relationship between perception and the level of community satisfaction with the Mina Padi Program with a correlation coefficient of 0.697 with a fairly strong relationship

(pp. 43–53).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Parijoto (Medinilla speciosa Blume; heterotypic synonym of Medinilla eximia (Jack) Blume) is a shrub from the Melastomataceae family which is known as an ornamental plant and is not widely known as a medicinal plant. Parijoto fruit contains tannins, flavonoids, glycosides, saponins, and alkaloids. People traditionally use parijoto fruit to treat canker sores, diarrhea, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anticancer, male fertility, and antioxidants. Several research results state that the parijoto plant has medicinal plant potential as an anti-obesity, anti-hyperlipidemia, anticancer, antibacterial, antioxidant, increasing fertility, hepatoprotector, and immunomodulator. Parijoto fruit has enormous potential as a medicinal plant, but it has yet to be widely developed by the community. This review article aimed to inform the public about the enormous opportunities in developing research from cultivation to product formulation. Based on the review results, information was obtained that the development of processed products is still minimal, and most of it is still on a research scale. Parijoto fruit has the potential to be developed into food products, including syrup, dodol, and jelly candy. Parijoto fruit can also be developed as a cosmetic preparation, such as body lotion and sunscreen cream. Apart from that, this plant also has the potential to be developed as a food coloring. Products made from parijoto fruit still need to be improved and have yet to be utilized by the wider community, so the potential for developing parijoto fruit is still enormous
