This also increases the frequency of extreme climates such as extreme rainfall and air temperatures. Pangkalpinang City is the capital of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The growth rate of Pangkalpinang city is approximately 1.1% per year, with a 29% increase in the number of vehicles being one of the factors contributing to the rise in extreme climate events. This research aimed to examine the trends in extreme air temperatures and extreme rainfall in Pangkalpinang city during the period of 1991-2022. The research method used is secondary data research with a quantitative approach. The study utilized 12 extreme climate indices as defined by ETCCDMI, comprising 7 extreme air temperature indices and 5 extreme rainfall indices. The significant extreme air temperature trend indicates an increase in air temperature in Pangkalpinang, especially the annual average daily maximum temperature of 0.018°C/year, the annual average daily minimum temperature of 0.025°C/year, while the TN10P (Cold night) index experienced a decrease of 0.344°C/year which is the opposite of the TX90p (Warm Days) index trend of 0.273°C/year. The rainfall trend in Pangkalpinang has not changed significantly

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI). Sumatran fish (Puntius tetrazona) is a type of ornamental fish native to Indonesia which is often found in the public waters of the islands of Sumatra and Kalimantan. This ornamental fish has an attractive color and body shape and has high economic value. The color of the fish can be improved by adding feed ingredients. containing carotenoids. The aimed of this research is to determine the increase in color brightness of Sumatran fish (Puntius tetrazona) by adding carrot flour to the feed. The method used is an experimental method starting from container preparation, feed testing, fish rearing, data analysis and water quality. The results of research on increasing the color brightness of Sumatran fish (Puntius tetrazona) by adding carrot flour to the feed gave positive results, namely increasing the color brightness of Sumatran fish by 5.86, absolute weight growth of 0.16 g, absolute length growth of 0.21 cm, feed efficiency 10% and 100% survival. These results show that the value of increasing color brightness in the carrot flour addition treatment is better, namely 5.86, while the increasing color brightness in the control treatment is 3.66 and the addition of 10% carrot flour can be applied by ornamental fish farmers in Sumatran fish feed to obtain better results

Koch) is a plant that began to be developed in South Sumatra which has the advantage of high protein content, large tuber size and attractive yellow color. Talas beneng contains high starch, so it has the potential to be developed into flour. The problems is the high oxalate content in the tubers. One of the efforts to reduce oxalate content is by soaking in an acid solution. Natural ingredients that contain organic acids such as wuluh star fruit have the potential to reduce oxalate levels. Some variables that affect the reduction of oxalate levels in the soaking process are soaking temperature and volume of soaking solution. The purpose of the study was to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of beneng taro flour with different soaking temperatures and volume of wuluh star fruit juice solution. The treatment factors were soaking temperature (30oC, 45oC, 60oC) and volume of wuluh star fruit juice solution (1200 mL; 1800 mL). The results showed that beneng taro flour had a whiteness degree 85.66%-90.57%, swelling power 22.45%-29.17%, moisture content 5.54%-8.63%, ash content 1.07%-2.27%, and oxalate content 154.38 ppm-226.97 ppm. The results of statistical analysis showed that the soaking temperature significantly affected the oxalate content, while the volume of star fruit juice solution significantly affected the swelling power and oxalate content of beneng taro flour. The interaction of the two factors had no significant effect on all parameters. The higher the soaking temperature caused the oxalate content of beneng taro flour decreased. The oxalate content of beneng taro flour with a volume of 1200 mL of star fruit juice solution was lower than the volume of 1800 mL of star fruit juice solution

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Coffee with the addition of gambier makes the functional value of coffee drinks increase, but so that the taste of this functional drink is accepted by the community, in this study the addition of cream and palm sugar. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the type of fermented coffee and the degree of roasting on the improvement of chemical, functional and sensory properties. This research will be carried out at the Chemical, Processing and Sensory Laboratory of Agricultural Products, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This study used a completely randomized non-factorial design (RALNF) with 6 formulations. The results of this study indicate that the higher the coffee roasting rate, the lower the antioxidant activity and total phenol. This is a result of heating which can accelerate the oxidation of antioxidants contained in a material including phenolic compounds. The results of the analysis also show that the higher the roasting rate, the higher the average pH value of instant coffee. This decrease in acidity value is due to the evaporation of some acids (chlorogenic acid and carboxylic acid) when the coffee is roasted. Based on sensory results that panelists tend to like the taste of coffee with a higher roasted level and a higher concentration of palm sugar. The type of fermented coffee formulation, roasted coffee level and the addition of cream and palm sugar had a significant effect on water content, antioxidant activity, total phenol, pH of the solution

This research was conducted in the village of Suka Sari, District Alang-alang Lebar, Palembang. This research used Randomized Factorial Design (RAKF) with 3 replications. The first factor is manure treatment that consisted of three treatments P1 (0%), P2 (25%), P3 (50%), and the second factor giving biofitalik with three treatments and three times the B1 (5 cc/l), B2 (10 cc/l), B3 (15 cc/l). Observations were obtained concentrations of manure significant effect of the number of leaves, and no significant effect on plant height increment, increased girth, plant weight, root fresh weight and dry weight of roots. In general liquid fertilizer has not significantly influenced all parameters were observed. Interaction between treatment of manure and liquid fertilizer biofitalik no real effect

They must increase their production capacity and product quality of palm oil raw materials. Farmers need to make changes so that they can produce quality palm oil. Also, oil palm smallholders need to form a business entity to have strength and selling points in the palm oil processing industry. Farmers are the main actors involved in crude palm oil's environmentally friendly supply chain. This study aimed to examine the impact of green training and environmentally sound behaviour on the availability of green supply chains in a sustainable palm oil industry. This study uses quantitative methods through data collection using questionnaire sheets to 82 oil palm farmers who participated in Oil Palm Cultivation Technical Training in Palembang organized by Badan Pengelola Dana Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit  (BPDPKS), Direktorat Jenderal Perkebunan and Best Planter Indonesia (BPI). Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modelling software (Smart PLS 3.3.3). The results show that Green Training and Environmentally Friendly Behavior significantly affect Green Supply Chain Management. Green Training implemented in Green Insight Behavior will encourage farmers to take initiatives and take environmentally friendly actions to minimize the impact on the environment. Environmentally Friendly Behavior positively affects Green Supply Chain Management, especially on Integrated Pest Management. This study develops a comprehensive empirical model that examines the co-effect of Green Training and Farmer Environmentally Friendly Behavior in achieving a sustainable oil palm agribusiness industry

From the many orders of the Arthropoda group, there are many groups of insects whose role is very important in increasing plant productivity, namely the Order Lepidoptera. Butterflies can be used as indicators of environmental change because they are vulnerable to disturbances around them. The purpose of this study was to find information about species of the order Lepidoptera found in Ogan Ilir Regency. Observations were made on vegetable plantations in the village of ogan ilir. The research method uses field observation methods with insect and roaming network techniques. From the results of the identification of butterfly species carried out around the area of Ogan ilir Regency, it showed that the total number of butterfly species found were 10 species belonging to the families Erebidae, Zygaenidae, Lycaenidae, Nymphalidae. This study provides information about the types of species of the order Lepidoptera that can be used as an indicator of the sustainability of an ecosystem in Ogan Ilir Regency. Thus, it is necessary to improve the quality of an ecosystem that affects the population of the order Lepidotera as an indicator that makes ecosystem sustainability

The objective of this research was to determine effect of the concentration induced VCO and the speed of stirring on the VCO and protein characteristics of coconut milk cream. The experiment used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors. The first factor was VCO concentration consisting of 3 levels (5%, 7%, and 10%) and the second factor was stirring speed consisting of 3 levels (500, 700, and 900 rpm). The parameters were yield, moisture, free fatty acids, degree of clarity and peroxide number for VCO and yield, moisture, ash and protein content for protein. The results for VCO showed that the concentration of induced VCO had a significant effect on the yield, stirring speed had a significant effect on the value of free fatty acids, the interaction of the two treatment factors had a significant effect on the value of the degree of clarity. The best treatment for VCO was induced VCO concentration of 5% and stirring speed of 500 rpm. For protein: the interaction of the induced VCO and stirring speed  had significant effect on water and protein content. The best treatment for protein was obtained in the 10% induced VCO concentration and stirring speed of 900 rpm

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The cause of damage to chili plants is caused by plant pest organisms (OPT), including mite-type pest organisms (Acariformes). This study aimed to inventory the types of mites that attack chili plants. Field research has been carried out on chili plants in three villages namely Timbangan Village, Pulau Semambu Village, and Palemraya Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra and Laboratory observations were carried out at the Entomology Laboratory of the Plant Protection Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted starting on August 26 to September 8, 2022. Sampling was carried out descriptively and data collection in the field was carried out in a survey with systematic random sampling technique at the observation location. Sampling of chili plants was selected when the chili plants had entered the production phase which showed symptoms of attack on chili. Samples of mites were taken from the leaves and individual mites were taken and then observed under a microscope. The results obtained from all samples showed that the red mites (Tetranycus sp.) and yellow mites (Polyphagotarsonemus latus) were the red mites (Tetranycus sp.) and yellow mites (P.latus). From the samples taken from the survey in three villages, two species of mites were found. Of the 7 samples that have been identified, a red mite species (Tetranycus sp) was found in the first village located in Timbangan Village. In the second village, located in Palemraya Village, from 5 samples that have been identified, a yellow mite species (P.latus) was found. The last village, located in Pulau Semambu Village, found the same species as Palemraya Village, namely the yellow mite (P.latus). The mites found in the study in the chili area in three villages in Ogan Ilir were mites of the species Tetranycus sp and P.latus. Mite control in chili can be done biologically by utilizing natural enemies of mites such as the beetle Amblysiuscucumeris Oriusminutes, Coccinellidae Coccinellarepanda

    ANALISIS TIMBULNYA KELUHAN PRURITUS VULVAE PADA REMAJA DIHUBUNGKAN DENGAN PERILAKU MENSTRUAL HYGIENE SAAT MENSTRUASI

    Tujuan: Perilaku menstrual hygiene yang kurang baik dapat menyebabkan gangguan pada area kelamin salah satunya pruritus vulvae. Hasil riset Kementrian Kesehatan Indonesia menunjukkan 5,2 juta remaja putri diIndonesia mengalami keluhan pruritus vulvae akibat tidak menjaga kebersihan area genetalia saat menstruasi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku menstrual hygiene saat menstruasi dengan timbulnya keluhan pruritus vulvae pada remaja. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan survei analitikdengan populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswi di SMPN 5 Madang Suku I dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 90 responden, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil: Pengumpulan datadilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan diperoleh hasil lebih dari setengah responden yaitu sebanyak 52 (57,8%) responden sudah memiliki perilaku menstrual hygiene yang cukup, dan kurang dari setengah responden yaitu sebanyak 41 (45,6%) responden mengalami gejala pruritus vulvae ringan. Simpulan: Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Somers’d Gamma menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi yang bermakna antara perilaku menstrual hygiene saat menstruasi dengan timbulnya keluhan pruritus vulvae (p value = 0,443 > 0,05).
