It is necessary to know various basic agronomic information about sorghum, especially the growth and yield of ratoon so that a sustainable and profitable crop cultivation package can be prepared. This research aimed to assess the vegetative and generative potentital of the Bioguma 1 sorghum variety as ratoon. This research was conducted at the research garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sriwijaya, Indralaya from February 2023 until August 2023. The methodology used was non-experimental. Sampling was carried out randomly for 80 plants from a population of 1600 plants. The research results showed that there was a decrease in vegetative and generative growth of ratoon sorghum compared to its parent. Decreases occurred in stem length (21%), number of leaves (50%), shoot dry weight (59%), panicle weight (61%), and number of seeds (22%). The decrease in generative components was greater than vegetative in ratoon sorghum plants

For the benefit of human beings, which is a top priority, as the population of Indonesia increases, market demand in the food sector will also increase. The aimed of this research is to give the students work experience and knowledge in the field of hydroponics. The methods used in this study were observational and participatory. Results of this study were obtained when the 2nd DAP (Day After Plantation) carried out a nutritional solution check. Since the salad is already quite large and the nutrients are reduced, first nutritional addition was made to 425 ppm with Ph 6.1. Second nutritional component was added at 14 DAP to 570 ppm at pH 6.4.Third nutritional addition at 24 DAP was 745 ppm at pH 6.7. Fourth nutritional addition at 31 HST until the harvest was 800 ppm at pH 6.8. The nutrient solution is an important factor in this study because it is a determinant of the success of hydroponic cultivation. A nutrient requirement that is effectively met for the celery can make its growth more optimal. Generally speaking, hydroponics requires essential nutrients consisting of macro and micronutrients. The advice that can be given is need to increase the sustainability of hydroponic crop cultivation activities in the greenhouse as well as improve development on the basis of IoT (the Internet of Things) for automatic nutrition systems so that the quality of the plants produced is even better
Evaluasi Performa Dye Sensitized Solar Cell dengan Penambahan Gum Xhantan pada Larutan Elektrolit

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Dye Sensitized Solar Cell is a set of photoelectrochemical-based solar cells that can convert solar energy into electrical energy by utilizing plant-derived dyes as a sensitizer. The factor that can affect the performance of a DSSC is the electrolyte solution. Electrolyte solution with the addition of a thickening agent can overcome the evaporation of the electrolyte solution. The electrolyte solution used in this study was iodine with a concentration of 0.1 N and added thickening agents, namely Xhantan gum. This study aimed to determine the performance of DSSC with water hyacinth leaf extract as a light sensitizer with the addition of Xhantan gum. This study consisted of three stages, namely DSSC structure, arrangement and assembly of DSSC layers, and measurement of DSSC. The TCO glass used has a resistance between 0.9 Ω to 15.1 Ω DSSC. The concentration of thickening agent in the electrolyte solution were 1%, 3%, 5% and a control sample without thickening agent. The parameters observed in this study were calculation of chlorophyll content with absorbance measured at 649 nm and 665 nm, current and voltage characteristics, power, fill factor, and DSSC efficiency. The best DSSC performance using water hyacinth dye with the addition of a thickening agent of 3% Xhantan gum electrolyte solution. The electrical characteristics generated in the sample were Isc: 0.0138 mA, Voc: 0.743 mV, Imax: 0.0103 mA, Vmax: 0.519 mV, Pmax: 0.00535 mW, FF: 0.5214, and an efficiency of 0, 0185%. The chlorophyll level produced by chlorophyll dye is 36.3713 mg/L. Chlorophyll is a dye with the ability to absorb light and donate electrons. The electrolyte solution in DSSC has an effect on increasing DSSC performance at a concentration of 3%, but at a concentration of 5% DSSC performance decreases due to the low current originating from a large charge concentration, especially in an electrolyte solution that is too thick

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) was one of the most popular plants in Indonesia as a daily food ingredient. However, growth was often disrupted by insect pest attacks which caused economic losses. In this case, proper control was needed so that pests did not cause massive losses. One of the controls was using predatory insects. Spiders are predators that could control insect populations. This paper aimed to inventory and identify spiders on eggplant plants in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The sampling method was carried out by using the direct method by hand. The research was in the form of a field survey using the Purposive Random Sampling method. Sampling of spiders in the field was carried out 3 times in each field and in the morning. The results show that there are 5 species belonging to 2 families. The six species are Oxyopes javanus, Oxyopes matiensis (Oxiopidae), Larinioides sclopetarius, Lycosa pseudoannulata, Misumena vatia (Thomisidae). There is a species that is only found in one village, namely M. vatia. The dominant spider species found were O. javanus, O. matiensis, M. vatia and L. sclopetarius. Therefore, the number of species that have been found is 5 species of spiders from the order Coleoptera. The spiders found have the potential as natural enemies for insect pests

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Sweet corn is one of the most popular food commodities in the community. However, production is still relatively low. The study aimed to determine the concentration and uptake of N and P nutrients, the development of mycorrhizae, and the growth of several varieties of sweet corn added with bioameliorants. The experimental design used was a randomized block design consisting of four treatments of sweet corn varieties, namely P1: Bonanza variety, P2: Ganebo variety, P3: Golden Boy variety, and F4: Exotic Pertiwi variety. The variables observed in this study were: (1) soil nutrient concentration variables and plant nutrient uptake (N and P) at 42 days after planting (dap), (2) growth variables included: plant height and number of leaves at 14, 28, and 42, and weight of wet and dry root and shoot at 42 dap, and (3) mycorrhizal population variables included: number of spores and percentage of root infection at 42 dap. Observational data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by the Tukey’s HSD (Honestly Least Significant Difference) test at a significant level of 5%. The results showed that the Golden Boy variety with 25 t ha-1 bioameliorant made from local raw materials gave the highest plant height, number of leaves, wet and dry biomass weight of roots and shoots. While the concentration of total N nutrients, available soil P, plant N and P nutrient uptake, as well as the number of spores, and the highest percentage of mycorrhizal colonization were obtained in the Bonanza F1

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Optimization of land through the use of intercropping between Chaya plants and chili plants using several fertilization methods is expected to increase the production of horticultural crops. This study aimed to determine the effect of intercropping patterns and fertilization methods on the growth of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) Taruna variety. The experimental design used was a Split Plot Design which consisted of 2 main plots, namely: Intercropping plot (T1), Monoculture plot (T2), with 4 subplots treated with fertilization method, and 3 replications. The four treatments of the fertilization method were: Bulk (P1), Broadcasting (P2), Spot placement (P3), Spray (P4). The data obtained from the observations and measurements will be analyzed using variance and regression tests. The results showed that the application of fertilization did not have a significant effect on the growth of cadet varieties of chili. The growth of chili plants in monoculture was better than the intercropping pattern on the parameters of the number of leaves, the level of greenness of the leaves, the diameter of the stem and the diameter of the crown, while the plant height and leaf thickness were better in the intercropping pattern

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The increase in the demand for eggplant production is not accompanied by an increase in the amount of production, which is caused by the low productivity of eggplant due to insect pests attack. This study aimed to determine the intensity of insect pests on eggplant in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The method used is a survey or observation in the field to observe the species of insect pests, symptoms, and the intensity of insect pests by taking 20 random plant samples (random sampling). This research was conducted on three fields with different locations. Insect pests found included mealybug (Planococcus citri), whitefly (Bemisia tabaci), leafhopper (Empoasca fabae), ladybug (Epilachna sparsa), weevil (Hypomeces squamosus), and tobacco cutworm (Spodoptera litura). Symptoms of the dominant pest attack in the form of hollow leaves caused by Spodoptera litura larvae. The level of damage from S. litura occured in the vegetative phase where the larvae eat young leaves. The data obtained were analyzed by One-Way ANOVA followed by the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the highest attack intensity of Spodoptera litura was in Timbangan Village (26.8 ± 1.92)% so that the attack rate could be categorized as high. The intensity of attacks in Permata Baru Village is (15.6 ± 2.70)% and the attack rate is categorized as medium. The smallest attack intensity was in Tanjung Pering Village (8.4 ± 12.07)% so that the attack rate was categorized as low

The productivity of chili plants depends on climate, environment, as well as pests and diseases. In several villages in Ogan Ilir Regency that we surveyed, there were several insect pests on chili plants such as aphids, ladybugs,rice bug, fruit flies and seen from some of their attacks. The purpose of this study was to identify and identify insect pests that exist in chili plants in the villages that we surveyed. This research was conducted in three villages, namely Tanjung Pering Village, Tanjung Baru Village, and Lubuk Sakti Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method that we use is direct method, namely by shaking method, sweep net, and some are caught directly. The results from our survey found insect pests in the form of ladybugs, rice bug, red mites, aphids, and fruit flies. Symptoms of attack from each of these insects are that aphids cause symptoms that make the leaves on chili plants become wrinkled, yellowish and twisted so that plant growth is stunted or stunted. In fact, plants can wither and die. In insects, mites cause symptoms such as leaving a shiny brown color on the underside of the leaves. And attacks on fruit flies, which are symptoms of fruit fly attacks on chili plants are marked by a black dot at the base of the fruit. The population of insect pests that were most commonly found was in the village of Tanjung Pering.Of the various insect pests on chili, physical/mechanical control and selective use of pesticides are needed so as not to interfere with the activity of predatory insects and parasitoids
REDUKSI NYERI DENGAN TERAPI MUROTAL AL-QUR’AN PADA PASIEN GINEKOLOGI DAN ONKOLOGI
Tujuan: Penyakit ginekologi dan onkologi salah satunya adalah mioma uteri dan kanker serviks. Miomauteri memerlukan penatalaksanaan yang tepat salah satunya adalah laparatomi. Laparatomi merupakan jenisoperasi yang menimbulkan intensitas nyeri pasca bedah yang berat. Penderita kanker serviks seringmengeluh nyeri pada perut bagian bawah dan nyeri merupakan salah satu beban berat bagi pasien kankerselama sakit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien postoperasi mioma uteri dan pasien kanker serviks untuk mengatasi masalah nyeru dengan aplikasi terapimurotal Al-Qur’an.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap 3 pasienpost operasi mioma uteri dan 3 pasien kanker serviks dengan memberikan terapi murotal Al-Qur’an.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nyeri pada pasien post operasi mioma uteri dan pasien kankerserviks menurun setelah mendapat terapi murotal Al-Qur’an surah Ar-Rahman.Simpulan: Terapi murotal Al-Qur’an efektif menurunkan skala nyeri pasien post operasi mioma uteri danpasien kanker serviks.Kata kunci: Mioma uteri, Post operasi, Kanker serviks, Nyeri, Asuhan keperawatan, Murotal, Ar-Rahma
PENGARUH METODE VIDEO ANIMASI DAN DEMONSTRASI TERHADAP PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH DI LAPAK PEMULUNG KEBAGUSAN BINAAN YAYASAN INDONESIA HIJAU JAKARTA
Tujuan: Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) adalah kebiasaan berprilaku positif yang dilakukan anak-anak dalam memperkuat kebiasaan hidup sehat dalam mencegah penyakit, meningkatkan kesehatan dan berperan aktif menjaga lingkungan sekitarnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) pada anak usia sekolah supaya mendapatkan manfaat dari pembelajaran pengalaman dengan metode menonton video animasi mengenai PHBS dan demonstrasi dan praktek langsung. Metode: kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan kelompok anak usia sekolah sebanyak 23 orang. Penelitian ini dengan melakukan pretest pada anak usia sekolah, pemberian materi mengenai PHBS melalui metode video animasi dan melakukan demonstrasi dan praktek langsung PHBS berupa cuci tangan, kebersihan diri dan lingkungan dan melakukan evaluasi dari hasil kegiatan berupa posttest. Hasil: dengan menggunakan kuesioner menunjukkan adanya pengetahuan anak usia sekolah sebesar mengenai PHBS pre 62,36% dan post sebesar 88,67% dan demonstrasi praktek PHBS menggunakan checklist pre 37% dan post 87%. Kesimpulan: adanya pengaruh metode pemberian materi dengan menggunakan video animasi demonstrasi langsung mengenai PHBS.
