    TERAPI KOMBINASI DEEP BREATHING RELAXATION DAN CRYOTHERAPY TERHADAP PENURUNAN NYERI PADA PASIEN ANAK POST ORIF EKSTREMITAS

    Tujuan: Tujuan penulisan studi kasus ini adalah untuk menerapkan asuhan keperawatan pada pasienanak dengan fraktur pasca operasi ORIF ekstremitas dengan pemberian terapi kombinasi deep breathingrelaxation dan cryotherapy dengan metode kompres dingin menggunakan ice gel pack.Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap tigapasien anak dengan fraktur pasca operasi ORIF.Hasil: Terdapat lima masalah keperawatan yang ditegakkan pada pasien anak dengan fraktur pascaoperasi ORIF dan didapatkan masalah keperawatan utama nyeri akut. Intervensi yang diberikan yaituterapi kombinasi deep breathing relaxation dan cryotherapy dengan metode kompres dinginmenggunakan ice gel pack untuk membantu mengurangi rasa nyeri yang dirasakan pada pasien.Implementasi dilakukan selama tiga hari didapatkan hasil nyeri akut teratasi ditandai dengan penurunanskala nyeri, pasien tampak tenang dan tidak tampak ekspresi khusus pada pasien.Simpulan: Asuhan keperawatan diberikan selama tiga hari dan intervensi terapi kombinasi deepbreathing relaxation dan cryotherapy dengan metode kompres dingin menggunakan ice gel packberpengaruh terhadap penurunan skala nyeri pada ketiga pasien anak dengan fraktur pasca operasi ORIF.Kata Kunci: Cryotherapy, fraktur, nyeri, ORIF, deep breathing relaxation, anak

    HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRES DAN POLA MAKAN DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI PADA USIA DEWASA DI PUSKESMAS SEI SELICAH KOTA PALEMBANG

    Tujuan: Masalah hipertensi masih banyak ditemukan pada usia dewasa yang tinggal di perkotaan. Pada usia dewasa semakin tinggi beban hidup dapat memicu terjadinya stres. Perubahan gaya hidup dengan tidak memperhatikan pola makan dapat meningkatkan resiko terjadinya hipertensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres dan pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada usia dewasa di Puskesmas Sei Selincah Kota Palembang. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional pada 67 sampel dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Hasil analisis uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan tingkat stres dengan kejadian hipertensi pada usia dewasa dengan p-value 0,288. Pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada usia dewasa di Puskesmas Sei Selincah Kota Palembang menunjukkan hasil bahwa ada hubungan signifikan dengan p-value 0,004. Simpulan: Kepada Puskesmas Sei Selincah Kota Palembang diharapkan untuk lebih ditingkatkan lagi dalam program memberikan kegiatan penyuluhan dan promosi kesehatan tentang hipertensi, stres, dan pola makan dengan memperhatikan kesehatan psikologis individu, jenis makanan, porsi makanan, dan frekuensi makanan sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya hipertensi.Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Pola Makan, Tingkat Stres, Usia Dewas

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.) merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman hortikultura  penting yang dibudidayakan secara komersial, hal ini disebabkan selain cabai memiliki kandungan gizi yang cukup lengkap juga memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Tujuan dari praktek lapanagn ini adalah monitoring penyakit sclerotium pada tanaman cabai merah di Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir.  Praktek lapangan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode survei dimana penarikan sampel secara laju perkembangan penyakit. Data yang digunakan dalam praktek lapangan ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh secara langsung melalui wawancara dengan petani, sedangkan data sekunder adalah data-data penunjang dari data primer, yang didapatkan melalui jurnal, buku, arsip-arsip. Berdasarkan hasil praktek lapangan di kecamatan indralya utara kabupaten ogan ilir desa simpang sawit menunjukan pada pengamatan kejadian penyakit sclerotium rolfsii yang diperoleh pada pengamatan penyakit berdasarkan pengamatan  rerata persentase keparahan penyakit layu Sclerotium tinggi pada pengamatan pertama rerata  10 % dan pada pengamatan selanjutnya mengalami penurunan  pada pengamatan kedua 4,1% selanjutnya pada pengamatan ketiga mengalami penurunan lagi ,pengamatan ketiga sebesar 3,5 % berikutnya penurunan kembali pada pengamatan keempat 2,8 % dan rerata persentase keparahan penyakit yang terendah terjadi pada pengamatan kelima sebesar 2,7 %. Pengendalian layu Sclerotium selama ini hanya secara mekanis dengan mencabut dan membuang tanaman yang sakit. Cara pengendalian tersebut kurang efektif karena patogen masih mampu bertahan lama di dalam tanah, dengan membentuk organ pembiakan, yaitu sklerotia

(pp.255–261).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffah) is one of the herbal plants that contains anthocyanin compounds and can react with formalin which is acidic, causing significant color changes. This study aimed to utilize anthocyanin compounds in rosella flower extract as a natural detector of formalin content in tofu. To achieve this goal, this study used an experimental method with a qualitative approach. Tofu samples were obtained from several traders in the market around Teluk Gelam Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Preparation of rosella flower extract was carried out using maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent. The rosella flower extract was then dripped on tofu samples and observed for color changes. The observation data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that rosella flower extract was effective in detecting formalin content in tofu. The best treatment was obtained at a concentration of 5 ml rosella extract + 20 ml distilled water (P3) which produced a clear color change in the tofu. Tofu containing formalin will change color to a solid red, while tofu that does not contain formalin does not show significant color changes. Thus, rosella flower extract can be utilized as a natural detector of formalin content in tofu

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Technical guidance is carried out in order to increase the utilization of post-harvest facilities and infrastructure and product processing assistance that has been provided to farmer groups so that they can create superior products, increase the added value of products and ultimately increase the income of farmers or horticultural business actors in Penajam Paser Utara district. For this reason, an evaluation needs to be carried out to assess the success of the implementation of the technical guidance. The aimed of this research was to analyze the evaluation of the level of participant satisfaction with the trainer and the implementation and to analyze the increase in participants' knowledge and skills after following technical guidance. The method in this research uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods with a Likert scale. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the participants rated the trainer very well (86.56%) and were very satisfied with the technical guidance organizers (84.84%) and there was an increase in the knowledge or skills of the participants before (1.38) in the less mastery category. and after following technical guidance (3.37) in the mastery category. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as evaluation material and recommendations for the East Kalimantan Province Department of Food Crops and Horticulture to improve the quality of providing post-harvest technical guidance and processing of horticultural products in the following years

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Practicing good health management in livestock is critical in controlling infectious diseases in livestock. This study attempts to evaluate the health management practices implemented by ruminant farmers in Binjai, North Sumatra. The study aimed to was carried out utilizing a survey method combined with interview techniques and field observations. This study included 56 ruminant farmers who raised cattle (37; 66.1%), goats (14; 25%), and sheep (5; 8.9%). The findings of this study revealed that approximately 68% of farmers have implemented sanitation and disinfection on their farms, whereas only a small percentage of farmers have received animal health training (8.9%), and there is little veterinary support in dealing with disease (16.1%). In treating their animals, farmers use anthelmintic drugs about 26.8% and the majority of farmers prefer antibiotics (42.9%) to herbs (7.1%) There is no significance difference between farmers' knowledge about health and sanitation application, veterinarian supports and drugs application among farmers. The majority of Binjai farmers have implemented farm sanitation measures. However, most farmers who have inadequate knowledge of livestock health have no support from veterinarians in diagnosing and treating the diseases. This possibly leads to inappropriate use of drugs by farmers. Farmers in Binjai should receive training regarding livestock health management to elevate a sustainable livestock productivity

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The demand for pakcoy vegetables among the public is increasing because people are starting to realize their nutritional needs, but in Indonesia the amount of agricultural land per capita is still relatively low. The purpose of this observation is to find out how many ml of AB Mix nutrition is appropriate for pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) plants. The observation method used a Randomized Block Design with each treatment repeated three times. The system used in this observation is a wick hydroponic system.In the first observation, the plants did not show too much change. In the second observation, plant height, number of leaves, and symptoms began to show changes because the plants had absorbed enough nutrients or absorbed excessive nutrients. In the third observation the plants experienced many changes, one of which was the 220 ml dose treatment, the plants died because they absorbed too many nutrients, and experienced toxicity.Different dose treatments will make plant height, and the number of leaves, increase or wilt, even die. The highest observed pakcoy plant height in 3 observations was 18 cm, the number of leaves observed in 3 observations was 11 leaves at most, while for symptoms, at a dose of 220 ml the most severe symptoms, namely experiencing toxicity due to excess nutrients absorbed by plants causing pakcoy plants to die.The best nutrition for pakcoy plants is 110 ml, giving the right dose will affect the development of these plants, such as plant height, number of leaves, or symptoms that appear when lacking or excess nutrients

This experiment aimed to determine the best dose of biosan (biochar and chitosan) on the growth of water spinach. This experiment used a complete randomised design (CRD). With 5 treatments and 3 replications. Treatments consisted of no biosan (B0); biosan 5 tons/ha (B1); biosan 10 tons/ha (B2); biosan 15 tons/ha (B3); biosan 20 tons/ha (B4). The parameters observed included vegetative, while the heavy metal measured was Cu. Data analysis used anova at the 5% level, and BNT test. The results showed that the treatment dose of biosan 20 tonnes/ha was the ideal dose for the growth of kale plants aged 6 weeks after planting. The average results obtained include plant height (39.12) cm, number of leaves (14.00) strands, leaf area (362.62) cm2, plant wet weight (83.72) g, plant dry weight (5.42) g and production yield of 27.91 tonnes/ha. The results of Cu heavy metal analysis showed a significant decrease in Cu. Biosan, besides being used as a soil improver, can also be used to control heavy metal Cu

(pp. 323–334).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Sweet-corn  is a popular agricultural product in Indonesia, most of  the varieties are yellow, white and not as purple. This research was to part of plant breeding program to evaluate the growth of F1-generation seeds and develop sweet corn varieties have high brix-levels and are purple in-color. Prior to this research crossing was made between sweet-corn variety as female and purple-corn as male parent. In this research, the F1-seeds resulted for that cross were planted along with the remnant-seeds of female parent in a Randomized Block Design. The research utilized dual-planting system, each to produce baby and sweet-corn and one other remaining plants were maintained to produce dry-seed. The research results avarage plant-heigh was 271.71 cm, male and female anthesis were at 46-days and 50-days. The baby-corns were harvested at 54-days, with avarege fresh-weight of 27.70 g/cob with sugar content of 4.5 %brix and the sweet-corn were harvested at 73-days, with average fresh-weight of 29440 g/cob and sugar content of 12.5 %brix. Special observation on sugar-content of  sweet-corn having purple seed resulted in 7.5 %brix as compare to population average of 12.5 %brix and the famale parent of 13.0 %brix. The seeds-color, however, were segregated to be yellow, white, and purple. Selection of-seeds from dry-cobs resulted in 10 purple-seeds cobs, among which 916 grains have a-wrinkled texture. These seeds could be good genetic material for next reaseacrh to develop new purple sweet-corn variety. Result of this research indicated that F1-plants were capable to-grow and produce baby-corn, sweet-corn, as-well as F2-generation seeds well

(pp. 823–835).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Food products are agricultural goods imported from overseas and held for extended durations in local warehouses, resulting in pest infestations that cause a yield weight loss of 10.73%. This study aimed to ascertain the prevalence of pest insects in warehouses across several markets in Palembang City. The methodology employed in this observation involved sampling, direct field surveys, and identification utilizing the texts "Insects of Stored Grain" and "Insects of Stored Products" by David Rees. The survey results indicated that seven species of barnyard insects were identified in several markets within the Ilir Timur I Sub-district of Palembang. Pest insects from the warehouse, acquired via purposive sampling, were classified as storage pests that infest food products, including: Tribolium castaneum, Sitophilus oryzae, Oryzaephilus surinamensis, Carpophilus dimidiatus, Rhyzopertha dominica, Cryptolestes ferrugineus, and Callosobruchus chinensis. Disorganized storage facilities with concrete roofs and cement flooring exhibited elevated populations of insect pests. Storage utilizing a high-positioned fiber ceiling, and a ceramic floor can diminish the incidence of insect infestations. S. oryzae, the predominant storage pest insect, exhibits the maximum population density in rice commodities. R. dominica was found with the lowest population density. Future research need data regarding the storage conditions
