The Students’ Disneyization and the Dependence on the Others : the results of the researching the students at Seigakuin Univ. 2017
Get PDF「ディズニーゼーション」はブライマンに提唱された概念で，ディズニー文化がアメリカに留まらず全世界に展開し，浸透していることを示す。本稿では，4次元からなるこの概念を簡単に確認した上で，聖学院大学日本文化学科学生を対象にした調査結果から，大学生のあいだに浸透する「ディズニーゼーション」の実態を明らかにした。その調査結果から主成分分析によって，「ディズニーゼーション」が他者依存志向を示す可能性を論じる。その他者依存志向は，「ディズニーゼーション」における「パフォーマティブ労働」の議論を参照すると，単に自己決定を避ける傾向だけではなく，現代的主体の自己目的化をも帰結する可能性を示した。Disneyization, the concept devised by Alan Bryman, is different from disneyfication. This paper reveals the tendency of depending on others, as indicated by disneyization and derived from principle component analysis employed to investigate students in the Japanese Culture Department at Seigakuin University in 2017. Furthermore, we consider the reason why disneyization leads to this tendency and its meaning, namely, the relation to the unencumbered and self-end consciousness. This disneyization is indicated in only analysis of Disney products and visiting to Disney resorts which we can contact without especial aggressiveness. Disneyization penetrate our life and we don’t need effort to contact its items and places. Preparation of Comparative Balance Sheets and Accounting Practices in Instructional Documents of the GHQ/SCAP（Part II）
Get PDF本稿では「指示文書」と日本の会社がESSに提出した英文財務諸表との比較分析を試みた。調査の結果，日本における代表的な財閥本社2社と紡績会社2社，合計4社の1946―1947年の比較貸借対照表が発見され，それらはGHQ/SCAPの「指示文書」形式と非常に近い形式と内容で作成されていたことが判明した。I compared Instructional Documents with those submitted by a Japanese company to the economic and scientific section (ESS) of the GHQ/SCAP. As a result of the investigation, two representative Japanese zaibatsu and two cotton spinning companies or a total of four companies’ 1946―1947 comparative balance sheets were discovered. Shadowing and Its Effect on the Development of L2 Fluency : The Perspective of a Long-term Investigation
Get PDF本研究では，シャドーイング訓練が及ぼす第二言語（L2）流暢さへの質的変化を，2年間にわたり収集した音声データの分析を通して検証した。参加者は英語専攻の日本人大学生8名で，1年目に13回，2年目に11回（各90分）シャドーイング中心の授業に参加した。シャドーイング訓練前後に録音したスピーチを，「時間に関する変数」（発話速度，発話の長さ，ポーズの長さ）と「流暢性不全指標に関する変数」（自己修正，繰り返し，フィラー）に分けて分析した結果，1年目に変化はなかったが，2年目では発話速度，発話の長さにおける向上が見られた。また，両年とも自己修正の回数が増え，シャドーイングはモニター機能を強化する可能性があることが分かった。The present study investigated the influence of shadowing training on qualitative changes in second language (L2) fluency. Oral data collected for two years was employed for the analysis. Participants included eight Japanese college students majoring in English. They engaged in shadowing training 13 and 11 times in their first and second years, respectively. Speech data were collected before and after the training. The data were analyzed in terms of time variable (speech rate, mean length of run, and total pause length) and disfluency markers (self-correction, repetition, and filled pauses). The results revealed that both speech rate and mean length of run improved. Furthermore, the number of self-corrections increased, indicating that shadowing training helped enhance the monitoring function during speech production.departmental bulletin pape
