A Rasch-Based Validation of the Vocabulary Size Test with High School Students
Get PDF本研究の第一目標は省略された40問のVocabulary Size Test（VST）の妥当性を検証することでたった。第二目標はBeglar（2010）の同テストの妥当性の主張を強固させることであった。VSTを15から16歳の高校生（N＝43）で実施した。データ分析をラッシュモデル測定で行って，その結果をMessickの妥当性の定義を対象に調査した。本研究の結果は以下のことを示した（1）問題と受験者は概ね仮説に基づいた通りであった（2）ほとんどの問題はラッシュモデル測定に一致した（3）ラッシュモデル測定妥当性程度の低いものについては，日本語に外来語であるもの，英語学習環境によく出る言葉のいずれかで説明することができた。The primary purpose of this study was to provide further validity evidence for an abridged, 40―question version of the Vocabulary Size Test (VST). The secondary purpose was to build on a validity argument for the VST made by Beglar (2010). The VST was administered to a class of 15 and 16―year old high school students (N＝43). Data analysis was performed based on the Rasch model and results examined with reference to Messick’s framework of validity. The study results indicate that (1) the items and test-takers largely performed as expected based on hypothesis, (2) most of the test items fit the Rasch model well (3) performance of items that did not fit the model well could be explained by knowledge of L1 cognates on the test and low-frequency items with high-frequency occurrence in classroom learning.departmental bulletin pape
Allergic diseases and developmental disorders : A summary of previous studies
Get PDFこれまでアレルギー疾患と発達障害の関連についての研究が多くなされてきた。本論文では，アレルギー疾患と発達障害の関連についての研究をまとめたが，その関連性の有無については一致した見解がみられていない。また，アレルギー疾患と発達障害の病理学的な関連性についてもまだ明らかになっていない。しかし，その両方を発症している子どもたちは一定数存在しており，アレルギー疾患と発達障害を併発していることは双方の疾患の診断，治療，療育に深く影響している。アレルギー疾患は比較的治療可能な疾患であり，発達障害を併発しているとすれば，その子どもに適した方法での治療を行うことで，予後が良くなると思われる。したがって，アレルギー疾患と発達障害の両方を有しているケースにおいて，より効果的なアレルギー疾患の治療のために，その子どもの特徴（偏り）が理解できるようなツールの開発が期待される。Many studies on the association between allergic diseases and developmental disorders have been conducted. In this paper, I have summarized research on this association although the association is inconsistent. Furthermore, pathological relevance of allergic diseases and developmental disorders remains unclear, and this affects the diagnosis and treatment of both. Additionally, a certain number of children suffer from both. Allergic diseases are relatively treatable, and if developmental disorders are concomitant, treatment with a suitable method for the child seems to improve the prognosis. Therefore, it is expected that tools to understand characteristics and deviations of children with developmental disorders will be developed.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF相対性と絶対性が作用において統合化される「現実的実在（actual entity）」（ホワイトヘッド）の領域に視点を置いて人間存在について考察していく。現実の実体領域においては，流動的な機械論的プロセスが存在するのみである。われわれはそこにある在り方を唯物論的科学主義とする。
これに対して，現在においては把握しきれない動的な存在がある。それは，目に捉え難い存立態である。それをわれわれは，プロセスにある作用という態様においてのみ認知することができる。例えば，水の流れに見ることができるように。それはパースペクティブを有するという在り方で，前方に想念できるという態様でしか捉えられない。
存在の確実性を保持する為の「人間の生の流れ」として本文に述べている福祉性の価値方向がその理論的パースペクティブの核に位置づけられる。その福祉性こそ「現実的実在」を解きほぐす鍵となるThis study considers human existence on the premise of the “actual entity” domain (Whitehead), which integrates relativity and absoluteness in operations.
The existence of actual substance domains is constituted from fluid mechanistic processes. This interpretation of existence is understood to be materialistic scientism.
However, dynamic existences that cannot be understood in the present, do exist. They are difficult to see, and can be recognized only in a mode called operations in process. For example, they can be understood as the flow of water. They could also be understood as a perspective on objectives, which can be imagined ahead.
The direction toward values of welfare, which we state as the flow of human life for the maintenance of the certainty of existence, forms the core of the above-mentioned perspective. The nature of welfare may justly be referred to as a key to analyze actual entity.departmental bulletin pape
