Get PDF絵本作家・島田ゆかの「バムとケロ」シリーズには，一つの家に暮らす白犬バムとかえるのケロのほのぼのとした日常が描かれている。バムとケロには性別や年齢が付与されていないが，いたずらっ子のケロの世話を焼く有能なホームメイカー・バムの姿は子育てに従事する母親に似ている。母親的役割を担っていても母親ではないバムとケロの関係は実に曖昧で，時によって，友達にもきょうだいにも親子にも見える。家族のごっこ遊びをしているふたりの子どもと捉えることもできる。このシリーズは，絵本ならではの特性を生かし，家庭生活を描きながら，親子関係を描かないという特異な設定を成立させた。時に息苦しさを生み出す要因にもなる義務や責任とは無縁ののどかな家庭生活の風景は，読者にある種の解放感と安らぎを与える｡大人でもあり子どもでもあり，男でも女でもあるバムは，読み手に応じた顔を見せ，遊び心に満ちたこの鮮やかな魔法空間に読み手たちを招くのである。Yuka Shimada’s Bam and Kero picture book series describes the domestic life of a maternal dog and a naughty frog. Bam, an able homemaker, plays the role of Kero’s mother, but Bam and Kero are not truly parent and child. Their ages and genders remain uncertain, and their relationship is extremely ambiguous. Bam, who acts as an adult on some occasions and a child on others, is simultaneously Kero’s reliable guardian and playmate. Although the two live in a house together as a family, it seems that they are playacting at housekeeping. By removing the parent?child relationship from the familial context, this series produces a comfortable space, free of duties and responsibilities that can cause stress. Thus, the world of Bam and Kero provides readers with a sense of liberation and consolation. Bam, who is grown-up, childish, male, and female at once, presents various faces to readers and invites them into a colorful and playful picture-book world.departmental bulletin pape
Creation of an Economic Sphere and Issues with Spread of Sharing Services
Get PDF情報通信技術は社会を成熟化させ，その利活用がシェアリングサービスを生み出した。それを支えるのは技術による本人認証や評価制度による自助規正であり，その下で遊休資産を合理的に利用促進する革新的なサービスは形成された。しかし，本稿が対象としたシェアリングサービスに限れば必ずしもそれが達成されたとは言えない。また，ネットワーク外部性が生じるため，当該サービスのエアポケット周辺ではその恩恵を享受し難い。本稿では当該サービスの成果や貢献と併せて，その課題を論じる。Information and communication technology has matured with society’s needs, and its utilization has resulted in intricate sharing services. Underpinning this trend is a self-help regulation applied via technology authentication, evaluation systems, and innovative services that rationally promote the use of idle assets. However, this is not always achieved when it is limited to the sharing service targeted by this paper. Additionally, because network externality occurs, it is difficult to enjoy the benefits around the air pocket of the service. Possibility of Information Ethics: Toward a Sustainable Information Society
Get PDF英国は2009年以来，“Digital Britain”を掲げて，デジタル社会の推進に積極的に取り組んでいる。2017年の“UK Digital Strategy”はすべての人が必要とされるデジタルスキルを身に着けて，デジタル・インクルージョンを目指している。
本稿では英国における情報倫理の課題を確認し，持続可能な情報社会に向けての課題を検討する。特に最近英国はじめ欧州において関心を集め，積極的な取り組みがなされてきている量子コンピュータ（quantum computer）におけるRRI（Responsible Research and Innovation），そしてジェンダー及びデジタル・デバイドを重要な視点として取り上げ，これらの英国における取り組みについて検討を行う。また，持続可能な情報社会に向けての課題と「持続可能な開発目標」SDGsとの関連についても検討する。Since 2009, the UK has actively promoted a digital society via their “Digital Britain” program. The 2017 UK Digital Strategy aimed at digital inclusion and the skills everyone needs to become involved. In this paper, we confirm the issues of information ethics in the UK and examine issues for a sustainable information society. In particular, responsible research and quantum-computer innovation has recently attracted interest. The gender and digital divides are considered important problems, and the UK’s initiatives are examined.
