A Survey of College Students’ Locomotive Syndrome Development during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Get PDFロコモ度テストは移動機能が低下しているあるいはそれが進行しているロコモティブ・シンドロームを評価する簡便なツールである。本調査は本学学生7名を対象に，コロナウィルス感染の影響を受ける前の2019年度と影響後の2021年度でロコモ度テストを行い，その結果を比較した。その結果，移動機能が低下し始めているロコモ度1と判別された者が2019年度には2名であったのに対し，2021年度では6名と，対象者のほぼ全員に移動機能の低下を認めた。コロナウィルスの感染拡大によって2020年度と2021年度は通学や課外活動，社会活動の機会が大幅に減っており，大学生という若年層の移動機能にも影響を及ぼした可能性が示唆された。The Locomo test is a simple assessment tool for locomotive syndrome, a condition characterized by the progressive decline of one’s mobility. This investigation compared the Locomo test results of seven university students before and after the COVID-19 pandemic began, i.e., in the 2019 and 2021 academic years, respectively. Most of the subjects displayed reduced mobility, with a score of 6 in 2021 versus 2 in 2019, which is classified as Locomo stage 1, indicating the start of the decline in mobility function. We suggest that young college students’ diminished locomotive function is attributed to the significantly reduced opportunities for commuting to school, extracurricular activities, and social activities caused by measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021.departmental bulletin pape
Research directions in parental mediation regarding children’s Internet use in Japan
Get PDF日本における子どものインターネット利用への保護者の介入について検討するべく，諸外国と日本における研究の状況を概観し，今後の方向性について考察を行った。日本においては，介入の実態について必ずしも多くの検討がなされていない。そのため，まずは諸外国の知見が日本においてどこまで適用可能かその内容についての検討が必要である。また，利用を制限によるリスクを低減だけでなく，インターネット利用の経験をさせる場を提供することで，その利用スキル知識の醸成につながるという期待も保護者には存在する。これらの期待に応じた介入のあり方と制限とのバランスも考慮に入れながら実態を把握すべきである。最後に，子どもと保護者，あるいは家庭という視点のみでなく，より多層的な視点を持って子どものインターネット利用への保護者の介入のあり様をとらえる研究の必要性について論じた。The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the state of research on parental intervention in children’s internet use. In Japan, there have not been many studies on parental intervention in children’s internet use. First, it is necessary to examine the extent to which findings from other countries can be applied to Japan. In addition to risk reduction by restricting the use of the internet, parents expect that providing more opportunities where children can experience the use of the Internet will lead to fostering children’s digital skills and knowledge. Therefore, it is important to consider a balance of restriction and opportunity in parental mediation in Japan. Finally, it was argued that it is necessary to conduct research to understand parental mediation of children’s internet use, not only from the perspective of the relationship between children and their parents but also from a more multilayered perspective.departmental bulletin pape
Significance of Teachers’ Retrospective Guidance in Elementary School Science Education: The Importance of Looking Back During Class
Get PDF本稿は，小学校理科教育における振り返りの重要性について，「教育活動における振り返り」，「指導者による学習評価のための振り返り」，「学習者の概念獲得のための振り返り」，「先行研究における理科教育の振り返り」から整理した。そして，理科授業時の「まとめ」の段階において，「概念獲得」や「概念変容」の関係を整理し，指導者の振り返り指導の具体的な記述指導の重要性を示した。
今後，指導者がどのような振り返り指導を意識しているのか，学習者にどのような内容を記述させているのかを明確にすることで，振り返り指導の重要性がさらに明らかとなるだろう。This paper explains the importance of looking back in elementary school science education. This concept was classified as follows: “reflection in educational activities,” “reflection for learning evaluation by teachers,” “reflection for learners’ concept acquisition,” and “reflection on science education in previous research.” Then, at the “summary” stage during science class, this study clarified the importance of “concept acquisition” and “concept transformation” and demonstrated the significance of concrete descriptive guidance in terms of the teachers’ retrospective guidance.
Future studies may clarify the kind of retrospective instruction teachers are aware of and allow learners to describe it for a better understanding of its importance.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFM. アルヴァックス（Maurice Halbwachs）による『聖地における福音書の伝説地誌』（La topographie l?gendaire des ?vangiles en Terre sainte）の結論を分割して訳出する。序論はすでに『聖学院大学論叢』34(1)に掲載済みであり，今後も残りの結論部分を順に邦訳していく予定である。
結論の冒頭部では，ルナンによるエルサレムの地誌などに照らしながら，マタイ・マルコ・ルカ・ヨハネによる福音書から，集合的記憶が再構成されようとしていると解釈できる。また，アルヴァックスは，イエスの言行や弟子たちとの集いがもたれた場所が，後世の人びとに特定されることを取り上げており，ここに集合的記憶が明らかになると考えられる。We translated the first part of the conclusion of The Legendary Geography of the Gospels in the Holy Land (La Topographie l?gendaire des ?vangiles en Terre sainte) by Maurice Halbwachs. The introduction has already been published in the Journal of Seigakuin University, Vol. 34, No. 1, and we will continue to translate the remaining concluding sections into Japanese in sequence.
The opening section of the conclusion can be interpreted as an attempt to reconstruct the collective memory from the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John considering the geography of Jerusalem as described by Renan and other sources. Halbwachs also discusses how later generations identified the places where Jesus spoke, performed deeds, and met with his disciples, and it is here that collective memory is likely to be revealed.departmental bulletin pape
