Analisis Hukum Ekonomi Terhadap Kebijakan Angkutan Umum di Kota Medan; Perspektif Al-Maslahah
No full textThe purpose of this research is to analyze public transportation policies in Medan City from the perspective of economic law using the principle of al-maslahah to evaluate the extent to which these policies prioritize public welfare, particularly in terms of passenger safety, comfort, and security. This study aims to provide policy recommendations that are more effective in addressing the existing issues in Medan's public transportation system. This article falls under qualitative field research. The methodology employed is normative legal study, presented in a descriptive-analytical narrative. The findings reveal that current public transportation policies in Medan City do not fully adhere to the principle of al-maslahah, as there is still disorder in the operation of public transportation that potentially harms the public. The lack of oversight, inadequate facilities, and neglect of passenger safety and comfort standards have resulted in public losses and a decline in trust toward public transportation

No full textThis study aims to analyze the form of corporate criminal liability in cases of personal data misuse by online loan debt collectors through the lens of vicarious liability theory. The research contributes by providing a theoretical foundation and legal argumentation to support regulatory efforts and law enforcement against data misuse practices in the digital financial sector. This article falls under qualitative library research. The methodology employed is normative legal analysis. The findings indicate that actions by debt collectors who misuse borrowers' personal data for corporate gain may result in criminal liability for the corporation, particularly when the company fails to prevent or supervise such conduct. The theory of vicarious liability reinforces the principle that corporations cannot escape responsibility for legal violations committed by individuals acting on their behalf or for their benefit
The Role of Transcendental Communication in Enhancing Morals: A Study of Students at State Islamic Religious Universities in Indonesia
No full textThis study aims to identify the role of transcendental communication in improving the morality of students at State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) in Indonesia. Transcendental communication, through prayer, dhikr, and reading the Quran, is an important element in the formation of student character, especially in their relationship with Allah, themselves, others, and the environment. This study is motivated by the importance of character education in Islam that needs to be applied consistently in the PTKIN environment. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, which involves in-depth interviews with PTKIN students. Additional data were obtained through documentation and observation of religious activities on campus. The results of the study indicate that transcendental communication significantly improves students' morality , especially in terms of discipline, patience, empathy, and awareness of responsibility towards the environment. The recommendation from this study is for PTKIN to strengthen religious programs based on worship and create a campus environment that supports the consistency of student worship. The results of this study provide a real contribution by offering an empirical basis for PTKIN to integrate transcendental communication into the curriculum and religious programs in order to form the character of students with noble morals, thus supporting the creation of an academic environment that is oriented towards spiritual and moral values

Full text linkThe aim of this research is to re-identify the influence of the constructivist approach on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. After that, the results of the analysis are combined and a conclusion is drawn about the problem as a whole. The method in this research is a literature review. This research is related to collecting, reading and storing library information, as well as processing library materials without involving field research. Data collection comes from journals indexed by Sinta and Google Scholar for the last 7 years. The keywords for the search are "Constructivism" and "Understanding Concept Mathematics Ability". From the search, 10 articles were obtained that met the criteria. The data collection obtained was then analyzed as research findings using qualitative analysis. Tata busana yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai keislaman diyakini dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh tata busana guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang islami di MTsN Pidie Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan dan memahami keterkaitan antara tata busana guru PAI dan pembentukan karakter islami siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata busana guru PAI yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai syariat Islam menjadi teladan konkret bagi siswa. Hal tersebut turut memperkuat pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai islami dalam kehidupan sehari-hari serta membentuk karakter yang religius dan berakhlak mulia. Tata busana guru PAI di MTsN Pidie Jaya memiliki peran signifikan sebagai media pendidikan nonverbal dalam membentuk karakter islami siswa, sehingga perlu mendapat perhatian khusus dalam upaya pengembangan pendidikan karakter berbasis agama Islam
Tracer Study dan User Survey Lulusan Prodi PBA IAIN Lhokseumawe
No full textThis tracer study and user survey aims to obtain information about the distribution of PBA graduate profiles, user responses to graduate competencies and what development needs to be done by PBA IAIN Lhokseumawe study program to produce better graduates in the future. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The collection of research data was carried out by distributing questionnaires and the data was analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis. The survey subjects are PBA graduate amounting to 360 graduates, while the number of respondents tracked was around 135 respondents (37.5%) of the total graduates. And for the user survey, the subjects are who can be well connected as user graduate. The results of this study are: (a) The number of graduates who have worked is 114 respondents from the number tracked, mostly become teachers/education staff in schools and they are satisfied with their work. The waiting time to get a job in the time span before graduating is up to 1 year. While the average salary / month ranges from <1 - 3 million/month. (b) User response stated that they have the suitability of competence and level of competence of graduates is good and relevant to the needs of the world of education: (c) Development efforts that need to be carried out by PBA Study Program to produce superior graduates, namely, improving facilities and infrastructure as well as the quality of the learning process, holding activities that increase student knowledge, updating courses in accordance with the applicable curriculum and market needs and improve soft skills development and cooperation in the implementation of education, research and service at the local, national and international levels

Exploring Izzi's First Language Acquisition: A Case Study of a Five-Year-Old Child
No full textThis study examines the first language acquisition of a five-year-old child, focusing on phonological development and the influence of environmental factors. Early language acquisition is essential for children's overall development, yet studies that explore the interplay between phonology and environmental dynamics remain underexplored. This research aims to provide insights into how these elements contribute to a child's linguistic progress. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected over three weeks through systematic observation and question-and-answer sessions, recorded via video calls. The participant, a boy named Alfahrizi Davin Syahputra Hasibuan, or Izzi, was selected due to his early-stage language development. The findings reveal that Izzi can communicate effectively and comprehend conversations within his environment. Parental involvement and a supportive home setting were identified as key factors in enhancing his phonological development, helping him practice correct pronunciation and build confidence in speech. This study highlights the importance of combining phonological analysis with environmental observations to understand how children acquire language in real-world contexts. The results provide practical implications for parents and educators, suggesting that active engagement and positive interaction can significantly influence children's linguistic abilities and overall communication skills
Assessing Cilacap State Polytechnic Students' Ability to Conduct English Proficiency Test: Challenges and Strategies
No full textThe purpose of this study was to evaluate Cilacap State Polytechnic students' readiness for the EPT-P and determine the obstacles they encounter as well as the strategies they employ to pass the test. This research used a mixed-methods case study design. To collect data, it used test and questionnaires which refer to the theory of Self-Regulated Learning, Test Taking Strategy, TAM and study of interlanguage. Analysis was based on Likert scale responses. It involved 60 final-year students of Cilacap State Polytechnic in the academic year of 2021/2022 from different study programmes. The study found that students at the State Polytechnic of Cilacap had a general lack of English competence, with just 25 out of 60 (41%) scoring over the 400 EPT-P pass score. Key issues were linguistic difficulties 37 students (62%) struggled with long reading texts, 41 (68%) struggled with essay writing, and 40 (67%) had difficulty listening, with 17 (28%) strongly agreeing. Psychological challenges were particularly significant: 28 students (47%) reported anxiety, while 44 (73%) reported losing focus. Technological and resource challenges were prominent, with 40 students (67%) lacking preparation materials and 55 (92%) never having had official instruction. Furthermore, 33 students (55%) considered the listening equipment unclear, and 54 (90%) thought the test was overpriced. Only 16 students (27%) prepared mentally and physically, while only 9 (15%) took classes. These findings, which were backed by many language learning and educational theories, emphasise the importance of economical training, easily accessible materials, and personalised coaching in improving student performance

No full textThis research aims to identify and map the results of previous research on factors that can increase scientific literacy for prospective elementary school or Madrasah Ibtidaiah (MI) teacher students using a meta-analysis study. Journals were obtained using AI elicitation and consensus. Scientific literacy must be instilled in prospective teacher students, because scientific literacy is a 21st century requirement that must be possessed by students, especially elementary school students. Previous research results showed that the scientific literacy of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Teacher Education students was still low. The integration of instilling scientific literacy values ​​in science learning in elementary schools is expected to increase the scientific literacy of students in Indonesia. These factors can be improved in various ways, such as using scientific learning models, learning media, ethnoscience-based learning, and improving science concepts in science learning at school
