Thrifting Practices as a Form of Sustainable Fashion in Indonesia: A Fiqh Muamalah Analysis
The practice of thrifting (buying and selling second-hand clothing) is gaining popularity in Indonesia but still faces challenges from Islamic law and environmental sustainability. Ideally, this practice can support the principles of sustainable fashion and meet the requirements of fiqh muamalah. However, some thrifting practices involve illegal imported goods that harm the local industry and violate the provisions of buying and selling. This study aims to analyze the compatibility of thrifting practices with the principles of fiqh muamalah and their impact on environmental sustainability. This article falls under qualitative library research. The methodology used is normative legal study. The research findings show that the sale and purchase of second-hand clothing in thrifting is permissible (mubah) as long as it meets the conditions and requirements of a valid transaction and does not contain harmful elements. If defects in the goods are not disclosed, the transaction becomes invalid, and khiyar (option to cancel) must be exercised. This practice also supports environmental sustainability by reducing textile waste, but it is prohibited if it involves illegal imported goods that contradict national policies and hinder the growth of the local industry
The Existence and Regulation of Cyber Law: The Government's Role in Combating Digital Crime in Indonesia
Ideally, cyber law regulations in Indonesia should provide comprehensive protection against digital crime in line with the rapid development of information technology. However, in reality, the existing regulations still face various challenges in law enforcement and have not fully succeeded in reducing the increasing rate of digital crime. This study aims to analyze the existence and effectiveness of cyber law regulations in Indonesia and evaluate the role of the government in combating digital crime. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, involving descriptive analysis and a comparative study between Indonesian cyber regulations and international regulations. The findings indicate that although Indonesia has an adequate legal basis through the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), its implementation remains ineffective due to infrastructure limitations and lack of inter-agency coordination. Furthermore, a comparison with international regulations reveals the need for revision and policy strengthening to enhance national cybersecurity
Hermeneutika dalam Penafsiran Hukum Adat: Implikasi terhadap Hukum Ekonomi Syariah di Era Globalisasi
This article aims to analyze the role of hermeneutics in the interpretation of customary law and its implications for Sharia economic law in the era of globalization. This research contributes to revealing how hermeneutics can serve as an adaptive interpretative method to align customary law with the principles of Sharia economic law, ensuring its relevance in modern economic dynamics. This study is categorized as library research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is a normative-juridical study. Hermeneutics in the interpretation of customary law functions as an interpretative method that ensures customary law remains relevant to social and economic developments without losing its identity. In the context of Sharia economic law in the era of globalization, hermeneutics enables the reinterpretation of customary law to align with Islamic economic principles, allowing it to adapt to the increasingly complex challenges of the global economic system
Spiritualitas Islam sebagai Landasan Regulasi Hukum Ekonomi Syariah; Studi Integratif Teori dan Praktik
This article aims to explore Islamic spirituality as the fundamental basis for the formulation of Sharia economic law regulations, adopting an approach that integrates theory and practice. This research is categorized as library research with a qualitative approach and utilizes descriptive analysis. Primary data were sourced from scientific journals published in the last ten years, while secondary data were obtained from books and related digital references. Data validity was ensured through triangulation, with the analysis process conducted inductively, moving from general data to specific conclusions. The study concludes that Islamic spirituality plays a central role in shaping the ethical values underpinning Sharia economic law regulations. This spiritual dimension not only guides economic actors to balance material and non-material interests but also ensures the sustainability of divine values in modern economic practices. The integration of theory and practice through this approach produces a regulatory framework that is not only normative but also practical in its application
Teologi Ekonomi Islam; Kontruksi Prinsip Ilahiyah menuju Aktualisasi Bermuamalah
This article aims to examine the construction of divine principles in realizing the actualization of muamalah (Islamic economic transactions) in accordance with the theological values of Islamic economics, as a solution to modern economic problems that are laden with social inequality, individualism, and market exploitation. The benefit of this research is to contribute to the development of economic practices that are not solely profit-oriented but also emphasize social welfare and economic sustainability. This article is categorized as field research with a qualitative approach, using a descriptive-analytical study as its methodology. The results conclude that economic theology is not merely a normative study discussing the relationship between humans and God but also serves as a fundamental basis for building spiritual awareness in muamalah activities. The construction of divine principles becomes a key pillar in shaping fair, transparent, and community-oriented muamalah, as well as offering a resolution to the distortions of the modern economic system
Determinan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi ASEAN dalam Perspektif Ekonomi Islam
This study aims to analyze the influence of investment, education, health, and per capita income on economic growth in ASEAN countries during the 2014–2023 period from the perspective of Islamic economics. The contribution of this research lies in integrating Islamic economic principles—such as justice, social welfare, and sustainable development—into the analysis of the determinants of regional economic growth. The methodology employed is panel data regression using the Random Effect Model (REM) approach with the Eviews-10 software. The results show that all independent variables have a positive and significant impact on ASEAN’s economic growth, both partially and simultaneously. These findings reinforce the relevance of Islamic economic values in supporting inclusive and equitable economic policies across the ASEAN region
Analisis Yuridis Peran Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dalam Pengawasan Pasar Keuangan di Indonesia: Peluang dan Tantangan
The Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesian government are essential in regulating and monitoring financial markets, encompassing stock exchanges, currency trading, and capital markets, to uphold market integrity and safeguard investors against fraudulent operations. This legal research examines the regulatory architecture of financial markets, the procedures for oversight and enforcement, and inter-agency collaboration in the prevention of financial crimes. In the age of digital transformation, financial markets are progressively shaped by technological innovations and global financial trends. This research investigates the degree to which current regulations can accommodate these developments. Additionally, the efficacy of regulatory rules and their conformity with worldwide best practices are examined. This study examines the obstacles encountered by OJK and other financial regulators in maintaining market transparency, combating money laundering, and mitigating risks linked to digital financial services. The results demonstrate that regulatory harmonization, legal certainty, and improved cross-institutional coordination are essential components for fortifying financial governance in Indonesia. By cultivating an efficient and transparent financial ecosystem, regulatory authorities can maintain investor trust and guarantee financial market stability. This study suggests that ongoing regulatory enhancements, technological integration in oversight, and strong enforcement mechanisms are vital for mitigating rising risks in Indonesia's financial sector
Financial Inclusion Through E-Wallets: A Besitang Case Study On Promotions, Brand Image And Purchase Behavior
This study explores how e-wallets promote financial inclusion in Besitang, a non-metropolitan Indonesian city. We investigate the influence of features, promotions, and brand image on e-wallet purchasing decisions. A quantitative survey targeting 100 smartphone-owning workers and students was conducted. Analysis revealed that all three factors (features, promotions, and brand image) have a significant positive impact on e-wallet usage (p < 0.05). Together, they explain 80.7% of the variation in purchasing decisions, highlighting their crucial role in e-wallet adoption. These findings emphasize the importance of e-wallet providers implementing innovative features, attractive promotions, and a strong brand image to drive financial inclusion in non-metropolitan areas. The study offers valuable insights for e-wallet companies and opens avenues for further research on e-wallet adoption drivers
TAUHID-BASED SELF-HEALING AS AN EFFORT TO OVERCOME NON-SUICIDAL SELF-INJURY: A STUDY ON THE STORY OF PROPHET YUSUF IN THE QUR'AN
Every individual inevitably encounters pressures, conflicts, and social relationship challenges throughout their lives. While some individuals are able to navigate these difficulties successfully, others may struggle, leading to prolonged mental stress. In severe cases, this can manifest in self-harming behaviors, including Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI). To prevent such behaviors, effective self-healing strategies are essential. For Muslims, one source of inspiration for self-healing is the tauhid-based approach exemplified by Prophet Yusuf, who endured significant trials from his brothers and his environment. This study explores the concept of tauhid-based self-healing as demonstrated by Prophet Yusuf to understand how he managed to avoid prolonged mental stress. Employing a descriptive-analytical method, the study examines the narrative of Prophet Yusuf, highlighting his adversities—such as being thrown into a well, falsely accused of theft, and slandered with adultery—and his strategies to overcome them. The findings reveal that Prophet Yusuf employed tauhid-based self-healing through self-compassion, compensation, mindfulness, and open-mindedness, providing valuable insights into addressing NSSI
