Las lecturas de Martin Heidegger de la Ética a Nicómaco. En torno a unas glosas manuscritas custodiadas en la Universidad de Salamanca
Get PDFThis article analyses Martin Heidegger’s readings of the Nicomachean Ethics of Aristotle and is based on the annotations and underlines preserved in a copy that belonged to the German philosopher and is currently kept in the Historical Library of the University of Salamanca. The various handwritten notes and glosses that Heidegger made to Aristotle’s works provide a better understanding of the influence that this book had on Heidegger’s philosophy and reveal that “the historical and philological workshop” that Martin Heidegger set up on the basis of the Aristotelian text was crucial for the development of some fundamental concepts of his thought.Este artículo analiza las lecturas que realizó Martin Heidegger de la Ética a Nicómaco de Aristóteles a partir de las anotaciones y subrayados que se conservan en un ejemplar que perteneció al filósofo alemán y que actualmente se custodia en la Biblioteca Histórica de la Universidad de Salamanca. Las diversas notas y glosas manuscritas que Heidegger anota al margen de las páginas en la obra de Aristóteles permiten conocer mejor la influencia que este libro ejerció en la filosofía heideggeriana y descubren que «el taller histórico y filológico» que Martin Heidegger instauró a partir del texto aristotélico fue crucial para el desarrollo de algunos conceptos fundamentales de su pensamiento
El enfoque de las capacidades, las generaciones futuras y la reducción del sufrimiento extremo
Get PDFDespite being one of the leading theories of justice, the capabilities approach has not dealt with the problems of our duties towards the environment and future generations. To overcome this problem, Gómez has presented helpful ideas about how the approach could incorporate these duties. Although Gómez’s ideas represent an invaluable contribution to the literature on the capabilities approach, in this paper I defend that her ideas must be supplemented with arguments in favour of the obligation of reducing extreme suffering. In particular, the capabilities approach should defend the obligations of becoming vegan/vegetarian, helping animals in nature and reducing human overpopulation.A pesar de ser una de las principales teorías de la justicia, el enfoque de las capacidades no ha abordado las cuestiones de las obligaciones hacia el medio ambiente y las generaciones futuras. Para corregir este problema, Gómez ha presentado ideas valiosas sobre cómo el enfoque podría incorporar estas obligaciones. Aunque las ideas de Gómez representan una meritoria aportación a la literatura sobre el enfoque de las capacidades, en este artículo defiendo que deben completarse con argumentos a favor de la obligación de reducir el sufrimiento extremo. En particular, el enfoque de las capacidades debe defender el veganismo/vegetarianismo, la ayuda a los animales en la naturaleza y la reducción de la superpoblación humana

Children and adolescents are particularly vulnerable to its effects and have raised their voices demanding climate justice and greater recognition in this fight, in the face of the lack of attention from states. Although their rights to participate in decision-making have improved, concrete actions have not yet been seen, especially in the global south. This article proposes the concept of “reciprocal recognition of capabilities” to empower children and adolescents. It is concluded that it is essential to address this recognition at the micro-political level.El cambio climático es uno de los mayores desafíos a los que nos enfrentamos en el siglo XXI. Los niños, niñas y adolescentes son especialmente vulnerables a sus efectos y han levantado su voz exigiendo justicia climática y un mayor reconocimiento en esta lucha ante la falta de atención de los estados. Aunque se han mejorado sus derechos para participar en la toma de decisiones, todavía no se han visto acciones concretas, especialmente en el sur global. En este artículo se propone el concepto de «reconocimiento recíproco de capacidades» como una manera de empoderar a los niños, niñas y adolescentes. Get PDFThis paper has two aims. First, to introduce two paradigms elaborated by Roberto Esposito and Eligio Resta to think (with) another legal rationality: impersonal law and living law. Secondly, to situate the genealogy of both paradigms in the reflections raised in the first quarter of the 20th century with Simone Weil and the Hans Kelsen-Eugen Ehrlich debate. The main idea is to propose a legal singularity of the Italian Theory.Este trabajo tiene un doble objetivo. Get PDFThe article begins with an analysis of the relationship that Hayek establishes between the foundations of classical liberalism and Darwinian theories. In this way, we identify a semantic field that would be decisive for a genealogy of the competence factor, recognising the latter as the main hypothesis underpinning the naturalisation of capitalism. On this basis we offer a revision and update of Kropotkin’s famous work Mutual aid with the aim of invalidating from a historical perspective the understanding of society as a territory of savage struggle between human beings for subsistence.El artículo se inicia con un análisis acerca de la relación que Hayek establece entre los fundamentos del liberalismo clásico y las teorías darwinianas. De esta manera, identificamos un campo semántico que resultaría decisivo para una genealogía del factor competencia, reconociendo a este último como la hipótesis principal que fundamenta la naturalización del capitalismo. A partir de esto ofrecemos una revisión y actualización de la célebre obra El apoyo mutuo de Kropotkin con el objetivo de invalidar desde una perspectiva histórica la comprensión de la sociedad como un territorio de lucha salvaje entre los seres humanos por la subsistencia

Get PDFThe aim of this work is to reflect on the incorporation of feminist consciousness into the Western imaginary on the basis of the cases of Christine de Pizan and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, which allow for exemplifying the concept of epistemic heroism proposed by José Medina. To this end, the critical stances of both authors are presented and the effect that they had in their respective contexts and the traces that they subsequently left are assessed. This review serves to problematize the aforementioned concept and highlights the need to historically frame it in the context of present expectations.El presente trabajo lleva a cabo una reflexión sobre el proceso de incorporación de la conciencia feminista en el imaginario occidental a partir de los casos de Christine de Pizan y sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, que permiten ejemplificar el concepto de heroicidad epistémica propuesto por José Medina. Para ello se expondrán las posiciones críticas de ambas autoras y se valorará el efecto que tuvieron en sus respectivos contextos, así como el rastro que dejaron en momentos posteriores. Este recorrido servirá para problematizar dicho concepto y apuntará la necesidad de enmarcarlo históricamente desde las expectativas del presente

Get PDFThis paper analyses the dictatorship of the proletariat from the revisions from the political and philosophical conjuncture of the 1970s, marked by the emergence of the crisis of Marxism and the anti-Stalinist revision of the main Bolshevik concepts up to the present day. To this end, we contrast the works of Antoni Domènech and Étienne Balibar and their respective philosophical traditions, highlighting their common encounters and problems. Moreover, we have decided to approach the dictatorship of the proletariat based on three oppositions: class against class/class alliance, commissariat dictatorship/sovereign dictatorship, and planning/market.Este artículo analiza la dictadura del proletariado desde las revisiones en la coyuntura político-filosófica de los años setenta, marcada por la emergencia de la crisis del marxismo y la revisión antiestalinista de los principales conceptos bolcheviques, hasta la actualidad. Para ello, contrastamos las obras de Antoni Domènech y Étienne Balibar y sus tradiciones filosóficas respectivas destacando sus encuentros y problemas comunes.
