The Influence Of Using Google Earth Application-based learning Media In History Subject To Improve Learning Outcomes For Class C Students Of MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu: Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Aplikasi Google earth Dalam Matapelajaran Sejarah Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu
In the current learning process, technology represents one of the systematic efforts in designing, implementing, and evaluating the entire learning process for a specific objective, combined with human resources to ensure that learning occurs effectively. Learning outcomes refer to the changes that occur in students after undergoing the learning process. History teachers at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu have been effectively utilizing educational media derived from current technological developments during classroom instruction; however, the use of media remains lacking in variety. The objectives of this study are: (1) to examine the use of the Google Earth application in the history subject for Grade X at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu, (2) to identify the effect of using the Google Earth application in history lessons on the learning outcomes of Grade X students at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu, and (3) to understand the responses of Grade X students at MAS Tahfidz Rokan Hulu toward the use of the Google Earth application in history learning. This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed are product-moment correlation and simple correlation analysis, using the variable of Google Earth application usage (X) and learning outcomes (Y). The statistical test results using SPSS for variable X (the influence of using Google Earth-based learning media) show a t-value = 5.887 > 2.002 = t-table, and sig = 0.000 < 5%. Therefore, H₀ is rejected. This means that the variable concerning the influence of using Google Earth-based learning media has a statistically significant effect on the dependent variable, which is students' history learning outcomes
Between Waves and Chimneys The Transformation of Fishermen Profession to Industry in Gresik Region 1996-2000: Transformasi Profesi Nelayan ke Industri di Wilayah Gresik Tahun 1996-2000
This article analyzes the shift from fishermen to industrial workers in the coastal region of Gresik between 1996 until 2000. Traditionally, Gresik’s coastal communities relied on fisheries due to the region’s significant maritime history. However, the industrial wave in the New Order era, marked by the establishment of large factories like PT Semen Gresik and PT Petrokimia, initiated an economic transformation. Based on interviews from local residents and using archival data, this study focused on the ecological, socioeconomic, and overexploitation factors leading to this shift using a historical framework. This study indicates the availability of industrial jobs led to a greater migratory pull due to increased social security and income stability. Such changes not only transformed the economic landscape of the region but also the social identity by undermining traditions and collectivist frameworks. The study broadens the scope of understanding how the convergence of local conditions and national economic policies brings about significant social change

- The Progress of Soviet Military & Defence Equipments in TNI Military Operations 1960-1975: Penggunaan Sistem Persenjataan Uni Soviet dalam Operasi Militer TNI 1960-1975
This research explores the acquisition and strategic function of Soviet military equipment in the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) during the period 1960–1975. This study employs historical methods, including heuristics, source criticism interpretation, and historiography. The study draws upon primary sources such as official military documents, memoirs of key military figures, and archival reports, as well as relevant secondary literature. The findings reveal how Indonesia, in response to Cold War geopolitical dynamics and the deterioration of relations with the West, turned to the Soviet Union for large-scale military modernization. Soviet-supplied weaponry such as MiG fighter jets, Whiskey-class submarines, and SA-2 missiles significantly enhanced Indonesia’s military capacity, especially in the context of Operation Trikora and Operation Dwikora. However, the political shift post-1965 under the New Order regime led to severed ties with the Eastern Bloc, resulting in severe logistical setbacks and eventual decommissioning of Soviet weaponry. Despite this, Indonesia successfully adapted its defense strategy and conducted Operation Seroja in 1975 using restructured forces and new alliances. This study contributes to understanding the long-term impact of foreign military dependence and the evolution of Indonesia’s defense posture during a volatile geopolitical era
A Translation Analysis of the Utilization of Idioms in the Indonesian Subtitles of the Movie Herbie Fully Loaded
This study aims to analyze the use of idioms and their translation strategies in the Indonesian subtitles of the movie Herbie Fully Loaded. The background of this study stems from the challenges faced in translating non-literal idioms rich in cultural nuances, particularly in audiovisual contexts with technical limitations such as duration and display space. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study identified 70 valid idioms that appeared in the movie’s dialogue and visual elements. The idioms were then classified according to Fernando’s (1996) theory into pure idioms, semi-idioms, and literal idioms. The analysis results show that pure idioms and semi-idioms each dominate with a percentage pf 47.14%, while literal idioms only account for 5.72%. Idiom translation strategies were analyzed using Baker’s (2018) theory, and it was found that the most dominant strategy was paraphrasing (85.71%), followed by the use of idioms with similar meanings but different forms (11.43%). Only one idiom was translated using an idiom with similar form and meaning, and one idiom was omitted. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on automotive-themed idioms in family movies, as well as its exploration of te reasons for choosing the paraphrasing strategy in the context of subtitle limitations and cultural differences
INSTILLING JSN 45 AS STRENGTHENING NATIONALISM THROUGH LOCAL HISTORY LEARNING IN HIGH SCHOOL: Penanaman JSN 45 Sebagai Penguatan Nasionalisme Melalui Pembelajaran Sejarah Lokal di SMA
History education plays an important role in shaping national identity, historical awareness, and national character of students. One approach that can strengthen history education is the instillation of the Spirit and Values of 45 (JSN 45) in history learning in high school. This study aims to analyze the concept, urgency, and implementation strategy of JSN 45 in strengthening local history learning for students. The approach used in this study is a literature study, by reviewing various academic sources, such as journals, books, and educational policy documents that are relevant to the Instillation of JSN 45 in local history learning. The analysis was carried out using the content analysis method to explore various concepts and practices that have been applied in history education based on national values. The results of the study show that the integration of JSN 45 in local history learning strengthens national identity, prevents social conflict, and instills the values of unity and patriotism. Effective strategies include the use of digital media, project-based learning, and inquiry methods. However, the challenges faced include the lack of integration of local history in the curriculum, limited learning resources, and teacher readiness. Therefore, collaboration between the government, educators, and the academic community is needed to develop an inclusive and multicultural history curriculum

CYBER PEDAGOGY, EDUCATIONAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW: Cyber Pedagogy, Transformasi Pendidikan di Era Digital: Systematic Literature Review
Digital transformation in education, particularly post-COVID-19, has accelerated a major shift towards online learning. While it offers flexibility, this transition has also had significant impacts on students' mental health, including stress, anxiety, and digital burnout due to intense virtual interactions. This study aims to examine the relationship between cyber pedagogy, digital burnout, and students' mental health in the context of online learning. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this research collected and analyzed 11 articles published between 2015 and 2025 through the Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases. The analysis process was conducted following the PRISMA guidelines, focusing on the relationship between cyber pedagogy and its impact on students' mental health. The results show that digital burnout and mental health disorders are significant challenges often overlooked in digital learning design. Cyber pedagogy, with proper management, can help reduce the psychological gap between students and the learning environment, while also improving students' well-being. This study emphasizes the importance of a more responsive and humanistic pedagogical approach in designing digital learning, which not only focuses on technical aspects but also supports students' mental health sustainably
THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE MAENGKET DANCE BASED CREATIVE ECONOMY IN MINAHASA: A STUDY OF INCOME AND WELL-BEING: Peran Perempuan dalam Ekonomi Kreatif Berbasis Tari Maengket di Minahasa: Studi Pendapatan dan Kesejahteraan
Abstract
This study examines the role of women in the Maengket dance-based creative economy in Minahasa, North Sulawesi, focusing on their economic contributions, welfare outcomes, and the structural challenges they face. Employing a mixed-methods design, data were collected through surveys with 20 female practitioners, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participant observation. The findings reveal that while women constitute the core workforce in Maengket performance, costume production, and training, their economic recognition remains limited. Most respondents are young (19–35 years), educated (75% at least high school graduates), and have been involved for over three years, yet average annual income from performances ranges between IDR 390,000 and IDR 520,000—far below regional living standards. Income instability, lack of formal financial systems, and exclusion from decision-making processes underscore their marginalization in the value chain. Despite the high demand for cultural performances nationally and internationally, women face barriers, including limited digital literacy, minimal access to capital, and male-dominated event management structures. Thematic analysis highlights the dual burden of cultural and domestic responsibilities, as well as aspirations for entrepreneurship, digital marketing, and collective economic models such as cooperatives. The SWOT analysis further identifies strong cultural capital and networked studios as strategic assets, while dependence on government events, weak branding, and insufficient innovation constrain sustainability. This study contributes to the literature on gender and creative economies by demonstrating how cultural production, despite being central to identity and tourism, often fails to translate into equitable economic outcomes for women. This calls for inclusive policies that integrate financial inclusion, digital empowerment, and gender-responsive cultural governance. The study concludes that the sustainable development of traditional arts requires not only cultural preservation but also the formal recognition and economic empowerment of women as key agents of the creative economy
