Development of A Thematic Map of Tourism Potential in Ogan Ilir District, South Sumatra
No full textCommunity service activities (PKM) carried out in Ogan Ilir Regency were initiated as an answer to the needs of the local community to develop tourism potential by empowering the community through skills training and counseling. The main objective of this PKM is to increase the income and quality of life of local communities by introducing new techniques in tourism management and other supporting skills. The implementation method consists of four stages: first, initial meetings with local governments to explain objectives and build cooperation; second, field survey to collect data through observation and interviews; third, data analysis to compile a thematic map of tourism potential; fourth, Forum Group Discussion (FGD) to present the results and obtain input. The results of these activities show a significant increase in community knowledge and skills regarding tourism management. The community is now more ready to take advantage of local tourism potential which is expected to increase their income and quality of life. Implementation of recommendations from PKM is expected to make a positive contribution to tourism development and community welfare in Ogan Ilir Regency
Training to Improve The Skills and Professionalism of Museum Tour Guides in Mojokerto, East Java
No full textMojokerto, a city in East Java rich in history and culture, has a number of fascinating museums. These museums are silent witnesses to the glory of the past and a window for us to peek into the civilization that has developed in the land of Java. Mojokerto is known for its rich cultural heritage and history, but its potential as a tourist destination is still underutilized due to the lack of quantity and quality of skilled museum guides. With a better visiting experience, organized and informative narratives, it is hoped that more people will be interested in visiting museums in Mojokerto and participating in supporting the preservation of the history and culture of the Indonesian nation. This PKM uses in-depth interviews with 10 museum guides who have undergone training and informant observations of training activities and their implementation in the field. The findings in this PKM activity show a significant increase in guide skills, historical knowledge, and visitor guiding techniques, resulting in a better visitor experience in the museum. This PKM ends with recommendations to improve community service programs aimed at developing local human resources in sustainable heritage tourism. Efforts to improve the work skills of Tunas Harapan Batang Serangan Vocational School students
No full textStudents must get training that imparts essential skills to effectively confront obstacles in the workforce and remain competitive. An essential training for vocational high school students is the development of a curriculum vitae (CV) and preparation for job interviews. This program is highly advantageous for SMK Tunas Harapan students and is a community service initiative designed to enhance their preparedness for the professional realm. The execution of this program arises from the imperative for vocational high school graduates to acquire the competencies necessary for crafting an appealing CV and effectively preparing for job interviews, since they represent the preliminary stages toward workforce entry. This training comprises two primary sessions. The initial session addresses proficient CV composition strategies and best methods for emphasizing talents and experience. The second session addresses employment interview preparation, encompassing effective communication strategies, professional demeanor, and responses to frequently asked interview questions. This workshop includes an interview simulation to provide students with practical experience. This training has effectively enhanced students' confidence in crafting CVs and preparing for job interviews. We anticipate that SMK Tunas Harapan students will be more competitive and prepared to confront challenges in the workforce with the skills they have learned
Increasing Students' Economic Independence Through Economic Security-Based Entrepreneurship at Ibnu Sina Banten High School
No full textMargaluyu Village, Banten faces several social and economic problems, including students dropping out of school due to the loss of their parents' livelihoods, motivation to go to school, and students having difficulty finding work after graduating. To overcome these challenges, entrepreneurship training based on economic security is needed, with the aim of creating economic independence for students and the local community. This village has great agricultural and plantation potential, but marketing of agricultural products is limited due to dependence on middlemen. Through a business incubation program, students are expected to develop skills in optimally utilizing agricultural products, managing businesses, and selling products using social media such as Instagram and TikTok. SMA Ibnu Sina was chosen as a model school for this program, with a focus on entrepreneurship education which is expected to equip students with practical skills and build an entrepreneurial spirit. This program also involves students as part of the MBKM program, which aims to strengthen academic relationships with the community and increase sensitivity to local problems. The main objective of this service is to help SMA Ibnu Sina students in Margaluyu Village develop the local economy and create new business opportunities, as well as support increasing students' economic independence through sustainable entrepreneurship practices
Implementation of Corporate Governansi in MSME
No full textThe purpose of community service is to help MSMEs to prepare financial reports, which are needed to apply for bank financing for capital acquisition and business development. And be able to understand good governance in MSMEs. As an effort to strengthen the participation of good MSME governance to empower individuals, groups and communities in the field of family welfare, especially in efforts to increase income and shared welfare. So that it can improve corporate governance in MSMEs through understanding and implementing the SIAPIK program to prepare financial reports. The methods used in implementing community service are counseling, training and mentoring through presentations of materials delivered by the community service team. The main topics of community service include training on cooperative governance. Then a discussion was held with participants guided by a moderator through face-to-face meetings. Feedback was carried out with a questionnaire filled out by all members of PMKM Prima Indonesia who participated in community service activities. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of community service both during face-to-face meetings and through questionnaires showed that community service participants expressed satisfaction with this activity, and the purpose of community service was achieved where participants felt they had received benefits in the form of increased knowledge, understanding of MSME governance

Because at this time there are many sellers of processed fish skin cracker products who compete in marketing their products. Therefore, this processed mackerel skin cracker product is from the Percut Village Mangrove Earth Group. Marketing and promoting their processed products through online media. Considering that currently along with the development of the times, technological sophistication (science and technology) also develops and makes Damai Jaya's processed business introduce through online media such as: Instagram, WhatsApp and FB. In addition, there are many things that must be considered in marketing and promoting a product, namely by determining product strategy, price strategy, and promotion and marketing strategies through online media. If all of these strategies are carried out properly, the success of a product will increase and one of them is by utilizing the sophistication of online media
Active Movement in Elementary School: Stimulating Basic Movement Skills for Lower Grade Students
No full textBasic motor skills are essential for the physical, cognitive, and social development of elementary school children, especially in the early grades (grades 1–3). However, these skills often do not receive sufficient attention in education. This community service initiative aims to improve students' basic motor skills through engaging educational games, while also improving teacher competence and encouraging parental participation. The program was implemented at Ngeronggo 2 Kediri city elementary school, involving 45 students, 8 teachers, and 45 parents. The methods used included training for teachers and parents, play activities for children, and assessment through observation, student reflection, and surveys. The results showed that 87% of students reported enjoying participating in the activities, while 89% were actively involved in all movement activities. Teachers' average knowledge scores increased from 63.75 to 87.5 after the training. Additionally, 89% of parents reported benefits from the Daily Movement Calendar, while 82% said their children were interested in playing the games again at home. These findings indicate that instructional games effectively improve children's basic motor skills and receive positive support from educators and families. This approach is relevant for implementation in other elementary schools to foster a culture of active and healthy movement from an early age
Interaction Pattern of Groundwater and Surface Water of Beji River in Malang Regency
No full textActivities in the Beji River area such as bathing, washing, toilets, industry, and agriculture greatly affect the declinein the quality of the river's. Poor river surface water quality will affect the quality of groundwater in the area around the river.Groundwater and river surface water have a close relationship with each other, especially in areas around riverbanks. Therefore,this study was conducted to identify the interaction between ground air and river surface air at the research location. Based onthe description of the flow pattern identified as a whole, the type of interaction at the research location is in the form of gainstream. The relationship between the two causes similar characteristics as evidenced by the occurrence of similar patterns in thetime series analysis. These similarity characteristics are divided into 2 clusters, namely cluster 1 is influenced by pH and airtemperature while cluster 2 is influenced by TDS and DHL water with correlation values ranging from -0.074 to 0.972. Based onthe PCA analysis, the eigenvalue values obtained range from 1.042 to 1.482 with a cumulative contribution of variables of 79.58%.The hydrochemistry of air in groundwater and river surface water also shows that there are similarities in the chemical propertiesof air, namely that it has non-dominant types of cations and anions
Arduino Radar Prototype Using Ultrasonic Sensor With C++ & Java Script Programming
No full textRadar is a tool that functions to detect the presence of objects around it. The role of the Arduino Radar Prototype is expected to facilitate tracking the presence of foreign objects. The radar prototype uses an ultrasonic sensor with Arduino that can detect objects and measure their distance. This study uses C++ and JavaScript programming which functions to process ultrasonic sensor data and display the results on the screen. Arduino IDE c++ & JavaScript software is used as a graphical programming tool that can display object detection read by the ultrasonic sensor. The results of this study are that the ultrasonic sensor is able to detect objects within a distance of 10-20 cm and is able to reach an angle of 30 to 9
THE EFFECT OF USING WEBTOON COMICS IN READING COMPREHENSION OF SEVENTH-GRADE STUDENTS AT SMPN 3 BANYUWANGI IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024
No full textThe purpose of this research was to find out whether using Webtoon Comics has an effect on reading comprehension of procedure text. This research used a quantitative research method with a one-group pre-test and post-test pre-experimental research design. The respondents were 34 students in seventh grade. The researcher gave the students a pre-test before giving the treatment, and the post-test was given after the students received treatment from the researcher. In this research, the data was collected by giving a test. The T-test analysis formula was used in this research to determine the difference between the average of the post-test and the pre-test in the experimental class. The T-test was analyzed and interpreted with the degree of signification level was 5% with df = 33, and the t-table was 2.034. The result of the T-test analysis was 10.092. It means that the T-test (10.092) was higher than the t-table (2.034) in the significance of 5%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of Webtoon Comics as learning media was effective for learning reading comprehension
