    No full text
This study aims to describe how reflective-based academic supervision is implemented by the principal as an effort to improve learning quality at SDN 02 Sidorejo. Using a qualitative descriptive case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that academic supervision is carried out through a reflective cycle consisting of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. In the planning stage, teachers are involved in identifying instructional problems and determining improvement priorities. During implementation, supervision is conducted using clinical steps: pre-observation discussions, classroom observation, and reflective conferencing. The follow-up phase includes mentoring, lesson study, peer coaching, and reflective journals. The results show improvements in teacher pedagogical competence, including lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional media use. Student learning outcomes also increase, demonstrating positive instructional impact. Reflective academic supervision positions the principal as a coach and collaborator, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

The purpose of the research is to analyze in depth the representation of power dynamics and social hierarchy in cyberbullying through discourse patterns and communication strategies. The research also seeks to explain how social norms or power structures in the real world are replicated and strengthened in online interactions involving cyberbullying. The uniqueness of the research is that it integrates linguistic and sociological perspectives comprehensively, in contrast to previous research that tends to focus on one of the disciplines, in order to offer a holistic analysis of the phenomenon of cyberbullying. This study adopts the narrative literature review method, a systematic qualitative approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize findings from previous studies related to the representation of women in Indonesian horror films. The findings of the study show that cyberbullying is a multidimensional phenomenon that involves the complexity of language, social interaction, and power structures in the digital realm. Cyberbullying, which manifests itself in many forms, inherently reflects the power imbalance between perpetrator and victim, often reinforced by the anonymity and wide reach of  digital platforms. However, the resistance of discourse and power back shows that victims are not always passive, but are able to implement linguistic strategies to challenge this dominance, restore agency, and even encourage social change

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the influence of the Flipped Classroom model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language in grade IV at MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin. In this model, students learn basic materials at home through videos/learning materials, while face-to-face time is focused on discussions and application exercises. The study was carried out because the learning outcomes, especially the capacity to speak and present, were still low. The study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design through pretest-posttest. The results of the study are expected to present learning alternatives that are able to intensify student motivation, activeness, and learning outcomes

The main objective of the research is to present an in-depth analysis of the portrayal of women in Indonesian horror films, with an emphasis on efforts to dismantle stereotypes and objectifications that are commonly found, as well as identify their sociological implications for the construction of gender and power relations. This study adopts the narrative literature review method, a systematic qualitative approach to identify, evaluate, and synthesize findings from previous studies related to the representation of women in Indonesian horror films. The method allows for the compilation of a comprehensive picture of existing scientific discourse, identifying key patterns, and highlighting underexplored areas in the literature. The findings of the study show that the representation of women in Indonesian horror films consistently reflects and reinforces gender stereotypes and objectifications that are deeply rooted in patriarchal societies. This indirectly reflects the socio-cultural values that place women in subordinate positions, as reflected in the patriarchal structure of Indonesian society. While creepy figures, women are often portrayed as having destructive supernatural powers, but they usually appear as a response to injustice or a manifestation of the suffering they experience, rather than as a form of autonomous and positive agency

    No full text
This study aims to describe the role of learning facilitators in organizing life skills education programs (PKH) at SKB Ungaran and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that learning facilitators have four main roles, namely as an identifier of community needs, program designers, activity implementers, and evaluators of program results. In the implementation of the program, learning facilitators play the role of informers, facilitators, and motivators who play an active role in guiding and motivating learning residents. Supporting factors for the success of the program include the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, funding support from the local government, and the enthusiasm of learning residents. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited learning competencies and high workloads. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the success of the life skills education program at SKB Ungaran was greatly influenced by the professionalism of the learning facilitators, institutional support, and synergy between related parties.  Therefore, it is recommended that SKB Ungaran improve the development of learning competencies and provide post-program assistance effectively to improve the quality of the implementation of life skills education programs and realize an increase in people's independence and quality of life

    No full text
This research aims to explore the meaning of employee well-being as perceived by millennial generation employees through a qualitative approach with a phenomenological paradigm. The main focus of this research is to understand how millennials' subjective experiences of supervisor support and work-life balance shape their interpretation of work well-being. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a number of participants aged 25–40 years who are actively working in the formal sector. Analysis was conducted using a thematic approach to identify patterns of meaning that emerged from participants' experience narratives. The research results show that employee well-being is understood not only as a stress-free condition or the fulfillment of basic needs, but also as an experience that reflects a sense of being valued, emotional connection with supervisors, and the ability to maintain harmony between work roles and personal life. These findings underscore the importance of relational roles in organizations and the need for work-life balance policies that are more adaptive to the characteristics of the millennial generation

INTEGRATION OF INTELLECTUAL INTELLIGENCE, MORALS, AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT: A MODERN ISLAMIC EDUCATION PERSPECTIVE

    No full text
This article discusses the integration of intellectual intelligence (IQ), morals, and learning achievement from the perspective of modern Islamic education. In the context of contemporary education, students’ academic success is generally measured based solely on cognitive ability, while spiritual and moral dimensions receive less attention. As a result, education tends to produce individuals who are intellectually competent but lacking in values and ethics. This study aims to examine the concept of holistic education based on Islamic values that balances cognitive and spiritual aspects in shaping students’ character and academic achievement. This research uses a literature review method by analyzing relevant scholarly sources, including modern psychological theories on IQ as well as Islamic educational thought from Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas and Imam al-Ghazali. The findings show that IQ plays an important role in academic performance, but it is not the only factor determining learning success. From an Islamic perspective, true success is achieved when intellectual intelligence (‘aql) is accompanied by moral maturity (khuluq), as emphasized in QS. Al-Mujadilah verse 11 and the hadith on the importance of knowledge with proper adab. Al-Attas’s concept of adab and Al-Ghazali’s process of tazkiyatun nafs affirm that true education aims to form individuals who are both intellectually capable and morally virtuous. Therefore, the paradigm of modern Islamic education needs to be directed toward an integrative-holistic learning model that combines cognitive, spiritual, and ethical dimensions to develop a generation that is high-achieving, well-mannered, and refined in character

FROM CLASSROOM TO CLINIC: AN ESP NEEDS ANALYSIS FOR MIDWIFERY STUDENTS

    No full text
The increasing globalization of healthcare requires midwives to develop effective English communication skills since it has become the standard of international communication in healthcare facilities. This research aims to evaluate the English language needs of midwifery students and identify gaps in current instructional practices.   The research design was qualitative, and data was collected through questionnaire responses, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis.   The samples included 30 participants from midwifery students, instructor, and clinical supervisor. The findings indicated that all students acknowledged medical terminology and patient communication skills as vital subjects.   Students expressed anxiety and a lack of readiness using English in clinical settings because of the substantial difference between classroom learning and real-world practice.   The study finds that English for Specific Purposes (ESP) curricula do not adequately address the precise linguistic requirements that characterize midwifery practice. Developing curricula for midwifery students should use authentic material and contextualized scenarios, integrated with language training by clinical supervisors and support from educators, may assist students in real-world engagement to enhance clinical care across settings. Future research should examine larger factors that shape language education in health services
