EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND PEER SOCIAL SUPPORT AS PREDICTORS OF QUARTER-LIFE CRISIS IN EARLY ADULTHOOD

    No full text
Quarter-life crisis is an emotional crisis period characterized by anxiety, self-doubt, and instability in the transition phase from adolescence to adulthood. The research method used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The purposive sample was 122 respondents who were fresh graduates, unemployed, and confused about their life direction. Data were collected through a Likert scale that was tested for its validity and reliability, and then they were analyzed using multiple regression and Pearson correlation. The results showed a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence and peer social support on the level of quarter-life crisis, with an effective contribution of 24% and 6.6%, respectively. The majority of respondents had a moderate level of quarter-life crisis, emotional intelligence, and peer social support. These findings indicate that high emotional intelligence and adequate peer social support play an important role in reducing the level of quarter-life crisis in early adulthood. This study has scientific contributions and practical recommendations for the development of psychological well-being in the early adulthood developmental phase, although it has limitations regarding the online data collection method and focuses on one age group

This study aims to analyze the development of Islamic crowdfunding as an alternative financing instrument for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and its challenges in strengthening financial inclusion within Indonesia’s Islamic economic ecosystem. The research focuses on examining the dynamics of Sharia-based crowdfunding platforms, their regulatory framework, the implementation of Sharia principles, and the challenges faced by MSMEs in accessing digital financing. A qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews with academics, practitioners, and Islamic finance experts, supported by secondary data from industry reports, OJK regulations, and relevant literature. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Islamic crowdfunding has grown significantly as a response to the limited access of MSMEs to formal financial institutions. Platforms such as Ammana and Santara play an important role in facilitating Sharia-compliant financing through profit-sharing contracts such as mudharabah and musyarakah. National statistics indicate strong market growth, with Sharia-based securities crowdfunding accounting for 52.1% of total SCF funding in 2024. However, several challenges persist, including low Sharia literacy, limited digital skills among MSMEs, regulatory inconsistencies, and gaps in technological infrastructure. The study concludes that Islamic crowdfunding contributes meaningfully to MSME financial inclusion and supports the expansion of Indonesia’s Islamic economic sector. To optimize its impact, stronger regulatory harmonization, continuous literacy programs, technological improvement, and stakeholder collaboration are required to enhance trust, accessibility, and Sharia compliance

    No full text
The development of social media has changed people's communication patterns to be more participatory, dialogical, and full of emotional expressions. YouTube, as one of the digital public spaces, provides a comment column that allows netizens to openly express their attitudes, feelings, and judgments towards the content consumed. This study aims to describe and analyze the form and function of expressive speech used by netizens in the comment column of the YouTube video "Isa Bajaj" on Deddy Corbuzier's channel. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data in the form of 500 purposively selected netizens' comments. Data analysis was carried out by referring to John R. Searle's speech theory of actions, especially the category of expressive speech actions. The results showed that there were seven types of expressive speech, namely positive praise/appreciation (29.0%), criticism/disapproval (24.0%), expressions of gratitude/gratitude (16.0%), expressions of anger or negative emotions (14.0%), empathy/compassion (8.0%), regret/apology (5.0%), and hope/prayer (4.0%). The dominance of praise and criticism shows the high emotional and evaluative involvement of netizens in the content of the personal narrative presented. These findings confirm that YouTube's comment column serves as a space for public emotional expression that represents the collective psychological condition of netizens. This research contributes to enriching the study of digital pragmatics by placing expressive speech as a reflection of emotional dynamics, empathy, and moral reflection in social media communication

    No full text
This study analyzes the factors influencing farming family resilience and strategies developed to strengthen it in Galesong District, Takalar Regency. Farming family resilience has become a critical issue considering the agricultural sector's vulnerability to price fluctuations, climate change, and limited capital access. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted in East Galesong Village. Informants were selected through purposive sampling, consisting of farming families as primary informants, along with the village head and farmer group leader as supporting informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that farming family resilience is influenced by five interacting dimensions: family integrity with strong emotional bonds and zero divorce rates, economic resilience through livelihood diversification, physical resilience with adequate food access, socio-psychological resilience built through religious values and emotional communication, and socio-cultural resilience supported by mutual cooperation traditions. The developed strategies encompass four approaches: active coping through income diversification and agricultural intensification, planning through planting schedule and financial planning, seeking instrumental social support through farmer groups and mutual cooperation, and seeking emotional social support through family support and religious activities. The combination of these five resilience dimensions with four adaptive strategies creates a resilience system enabling farming families to survive despite structural limitations

CIVILIZATIONAL JURISPRUDENCE: A RESPONSE TO THE LOGICAL FALLACIES OF THE JURISPRUDENCE IDEOLOGY NARRATIVES OF ANTI-PANCASILA ORGANIZATIONS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

    No full text
This research responds to the growing movement among certain Islamic mass organizations (Ormas) in Indonesia that continue to challenge the legitimacy of Pancasila as the state ideology by using the framework of civilization jurisprudence (fikih peradaban). These groups argue that Pancasila does not sufficiently accommodate Islamic law (syariah), which they claim should be prioritized as the legal foundation for a Muslim-majority nation. To critically examine these claims, this study employs content analysis to uncover the logical fallacies embedded within the ideological narratives produced by these Ormas. Primary data consist of written and digital narratives from organizations such as Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Jama'ah Ansharut Daulah (JAD), and Jama'ah Islamiyah—groups known to have transnational ideological affiliations, including links to ISIS. These narratives are sourced from official websites, organizational documents (such as constitutions and bylaws), and social media postings. Secondary data include reports from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as authoritative Islamic scholarly sources such as classical fiqh, usul fiqh, tafsir ahkam, academic journals, and credible news articles. The analysis reveals that the discourse promoted by these transnational Islamic groups frames Pancasila and the Quran as mutually exclusive, leading to an erroneous ideological dichotomy. Their reasoning is shown to be fallacious due to inappropriate comparisons, overgeneralizations, and the failure to understand the distinct epistemic categories between divine revelation and a contextual national ideology. The study concludes that fikih peradaban offers a constructive paradigm for harmonizing religious and national commitments, affirming that Indonesian law is inherently dynamic, contextual, and capable of integrating universal Islamic values without undermining Pancasila
