Perempuan berswatantra menghadapi perubahan iklim dengan literasi ecopsychology feminism
Women are a group that is vulnerable to becoming victims of the impacts of climate change, the availability of air to meet sanitation needs, disasters that can occur at any time, and secondary impacts from economic problems that may arise. This research illustrates how literacy can strengthen women, open their minds, change paradigms about the environment, and even move women to try to be active and independent in responding to the impacts of climate change. Using qualitative methods, researchers carried out inductive coding on the results of interviews with five people with the highest New Ecological Paradigm Scale scores from sixty-six subjects selected using the criteria of women aged 18-40 years who liked to read literacy in the form of novels by female writers from Indonesia. Word Frequency analysis found that five words had context and formed the theme of this research, namely women, nature, mothers, characters, and the environment. This research reveals how feminist ecopsychological literacy can change views, determine attitudes, and mobilize Indonesian women to be pro-environmental and independent in responding to climate change, which causes changes in the natural environment
Pengembangan model kedekatan pertemanan berdasarkan resiprositas, kesetaraan dan dukungan
Individuals need close friends. How is close friendship developed? Generally, closeness in friendship can be developed and maintained if the relationship is equal and mutually supportive. The purpose of this research is to develop a model of friendship closeness, with reciprocity as the antecedent and equality and support as mediators. The participants in this research were 234 first-year students at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Data were collected by survey method. Closeness, reciprocity, equality and support were measured by Likert-like scales which met the criteria for psychometric property tests. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with four latent variables was applied to test the model’s fit with the data. The model of closeness in friendship which was developed by reciprocity and mediated by equality as well as support showed a good fit with the empirical data, as confirmed by strong parameter estimates. Some practical implications of this research are proposed

Individual innovative behavior reflects the exploration and application of new ideas in the work environment. Personality and cultural orientation (individualism vs. collectivism) play an important role in shaping an employee's innovative tendencies. Unfortunately, most current research still examines personality factors and cultural orientation factors separately, even though both factors have great potential to be interrelated in predicting individual innovative behavior. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of personality and cultural orientation on individual innovative behavior in the workplace. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total of 265 participants who are employees with at least one year of work experience. The research instruments consisted of the individual innovative behavior scale, the IPIP-BFM-25 Indonesia Scale, and the cultural orientation scale. The results of the study showed that individualist orientation, intellect personality, and conscientiousness were significantly related to the tendency of innovative behavior. Individuals who are open to new experiences, tend to be individualistic, have strong self-discipline, and have a high level of education are more likely to show innovative behavior. In addition, these characteristics are more often observed in male employees. Meanwhile, collectivism did not show a significant relationship with innovative behavior. These findings have important implications, both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, this study confirms that personality and culture orientation can play a role in shaping innovative behavior, although there is variation in their effects. Practically, these results indicate the importance of developing human resource management strategies that can encourage innovation by considering individual factors and work culture
Legacy Prof. James H. Liu Untuk Psikologi Sosial Indonesia: Sebuah Obituari
Our collaboration began when James, Mark Woodward (Anthropologist – Arizona State University), and Nora Fisher Onar (Political Scientist – University of San Francisco) invited me – then still a master's student in Psychology – to assist in their cross-cultural, multidisciplinary research. At that time, they were studying critical junctures - how an event in the corridor of history shapes the direction of a nation or society (Liu, Onar, & Woodward, 2014). It was a profound experience for me personally. Not only because of its thought-provoking theme, but also because it was here that I first directly observed and learned how psychology, which mainly concerns micro phenomena (human thoughts and behaviors), can speak about complex and broad (macro) issues such as nation buildings. Later, I realized that this was James's strength and unique character as a scholar; he was able to marry psychological theories and methods with various fields of study and build collaborations with many scientists from diverse academic backgrounds and countries/cultures. From this research collaboration, and with James's encouragement and supervision, I learned to write academic article and published it in an international journal (Hakim, et al., 2015)
Komentar dan arah masa depan riset meta-prasangka dan pendekatan human nature
This paper discusses the concept of meta-prejudice and the Human Nature approach, including the research conducted and the findings obtained. Starting from the idea of meta-beliefs, Putra developed the concept of meta-prejudice to examine prejudice and intergroup hatred. Unlike Putra (2014), Cahyaningtyas (2015) applied this concept to the realm of male-female relations, particularly in relation to the feminist movement. Furthermore, based on the belief of some lay people that humans are inherently good, Putra (Putra et al., 2018; 2022) developed the Human Nature approach, which is expected to reduce prejudice and intergroup hatred. Most empirical findings so far support this hypothesis. Adopting this concept, Syarif (2025) then examined it in the context of postnatal trauma in fathers. This paper specifically reviews the studies conducted by Cahyaningtyas and Syarif in more detail. In addition, this article also discusses the advantages and limitations of both the meta-prejudice concept and the Human Nature approach, and offers possible directions for further research that can be developed in the future
This article describes the experiences of families from lower middle socio-economic levels who have children with multiple disabilities. The experiences of these families are then analyzed in relation to the concept of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to explore social intervention models and strategies that may promote a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society. This article was developed based on the researchers’ involvement in a support group for families from lower middle socio-economic levels who have children with multiple disabilities. In addition, this article was also specifically prepared based on the experiences of producing a participatory video making that involved four families in the support group being studied. Qualitative data which became the main data source for this article were obtained from several data collection processes that occurred during the production of the documentary video. The data collection processes included two focus group discussions and two semi-structured interviews with each family. The data were analysed by using thematic analysis techniques. The overall findings of this research are summarized in two major themes, namely "the need for comprehensive and integrative assistance" and "the need to strengthen the role of local communities". These two themes are then discussed in relation to the concept of SDGs and the Indonesian policies on disabilities
