Pemanfaatan augmented reality sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan laut bagi siswa SD di wilayah pesisir
Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan sebagai implementasi mata kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Teknologi Kemaritiman (PITK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepedulian siswa sekolah dasar terhadap lingkungan laut melalui media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR). Gap kegiatan terletak pada belum terbangunnya keterhubungan antara pembelajaran kemaritiman di perguruan tinggi dan penerapannya di tingkat sekolah dasar, khususnya di wilayah pesisir. Untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut, dikembangkan flipbook interaktif berbarcode AR yang menampilkan visualisasi biota laut lokal sebagai media belajar kontekstual. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, refleksi, dan observasi terhadap siswa kelas V SDIT As-Sakinah Tanjungpinang pada 7 Mei 2025. Evaluasi dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan dua indikator utama, yaitu (1) pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap ekosistem laut melalui jawaban reflektif dan diskusi, serta (2) kepedulian siswa terhadap pelestarian lingkungan laut berdasarkan respons sikap dan partisipasi selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan AR mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa, memperkuat pemahaman terhadap konsep ekosistem laut, dan menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis sejak dini. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran lintas jenjang berbasis teknologi yang memperkuat literasi maritim di wilayah pesisir
Pendampingan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru PPKn SMA dalam pembuatan dan implementasi desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk mengakomodir keberagaman peserta didik
Guru sebagai aktor utama dalam berlangsungnya proses pendidikan harus memahami bahwa setiap anak itu unik dan beragam. Menyikapi realita ini tugas guru adalah mendesain pembelajaran yang mengakomodir keberagaman tersebut. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah pertama mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam mendesain dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi kedua meningkatkan pelayanan guru dalam menghadapi keberagaman peserta. Metode dan bentuk kegiatan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan, pendampingan, evaluasi, keberlanjutan program. Mitra kegiatan adalah MGMP PPKn SMA Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang berjumlah 36 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi dan wawancara. Indikator keberhasilan dilihat dari aspek guru, murid dan sistem pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menyimpulkan kegiatan PPM dari aspek guru berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru yang ditandai dengan pemahaman konseptual, kemampuan memetakan peserta didik, mendesain modul ajar, keterampilan mengimplementasikan desain pembelajaran, dan kepuasan. Kegiatan PPM meningkatkan pelayanan guru dalam menghadapi keberagaman peserta Dari aspek peserta didik ditandai dengan terciptanya situasi nyaman, kepercayaan diri, keaktifan, serta refleksi diri peserta didik. Dari aspek sistem pembelajaran kegiatan telah berhasil menciptakan budaya kelas berupa kepedulian, paradigma positif dan kolaborasi
Formation of Strategic Provinces on Maritime Borders: A Political Economy Analysis of Natuna-Anambas Proposal
The Natuna and Anambas regions have a strategic position as a maritime border region that is a concern in the national agenda, including through designation as part of the National Strategic Project (PSN). However, the reality of local development shows high fiscal dependence on central transfers, weak local revenue, and vulnerability to global economic fluctuations. This study aims to assess the potential of the Natuna-Anambas Province formation in strengthening fiscal independence and improving local economic governance. Using an exploratory qualitative approach and fiscal policy analysis, this study utilizes secondary data from regional financial reports, BPS statistics, and a literature review related to fiscal decentralization and the resource curse. The results show that the regional revenue structure dominated by the General Allocation Fund (DAU) and Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) makes Natuna and Anambas vulnerable to central policy changes and commodity price volatility. In addition, the benefits of PSN have not been fully distributed to local communities due to limited institutional capacity and lack of integration of local economic development. The establishment of a new province has the potential to be a solution if accompanied by strengthening fiscal governance, reforming DBH allocation, and economic diversification strategies. This article recommends a policy roadmap based on a multi-level governance approach to promote fiscal autonomy and inclusive and sustainable economic development
Maritime Security and Drug Threats in the Border Waters of Bintan Regency: The Perspective of the Bintan Resort Police
Bintan Regency, located in Indonesia’s Riau Islands Province, occupies a strategic maritime position adjacent to Singapore and Malaysia, making it a vital yet vulnerable zone for transnational narcotics trafficking. The geographical characteristics of extensive coastlines, scattered small islands, and numerous unofficial ports provide opportunities for smugglers to exploit weak surveillance and limited enforcement capacity. This study aims to analyze the strategies, challenges, and institutional coordination of the Bintan Resort Police (Polres Bintan) in combating maritime-based narcotics smuggling. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model with triangulation for validation. The findings reveal that the Polres Bintan plays a crucial role in early detection and prevention through routine patrols, intelligence sharing, and coordination with the Navy, Customs, and BNN. However, enforcement remains constrained by limited personnel, only two patrol vessels, and the absence of an integrated maritime surveillance system. Inter-agency coordination is still fragmented due to overlapping authority and the lack of formal legal frameworks. Moreover, socio-economic vulnerabilities within coastal communities increase local involvement in smuggling networks. The study concludes that sustainable maritime security requires strengthening institutional synergy, enhancing technological capacity, and empowering communities as active partners in surveillance. A unified maritime governance framework is essential to transform Bintan from a vulnerable transit hub into a resilient maritime border zone for Indonesia’s narcotics control strategy
Public Management Model in Marine Pollution Control; A Case Study of Bintan Regency
Marine pollution is one of the most pressing environmental challenges in coastal areas, particularly in areas with intensive shipping and tourism activities such as Bintan Regency, Indonesia. Recurrent oil spills, accumulation of marine debris and microplastics, and degradation of mangrove and coral reef ecosystems highlight the need for an integrated governance model capable of ensuring both ecological sustainability and the socio-economic resilience of coastal communities. This study aims to assess the performance of public management in controlling marine pollution in Bintan and propose a governance model that emphasizes strengthening institutional coordination, preventive measures, and accountability mechanisms. The method used is a case study with a qualitative-descriptive approach, based on secondary data obtained from government documents, environmental regulations, media reports, and international scientific articles. Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis techniques to identify key issues, institutional roles, and the effectiveness of policy instruments. The results show that although regulatory frameworks such as PP No. 19/1999, DIKPLHD Bintan, and MARPOL obligations are in place, implementation in the field remains fragmentary and reactive, reflected in the recurrence of black oil pollution and limited ship waste reception facilities. This study emphasizes the importance of a polycentric governance model that integrates Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM), collaborative governance between state and non-state actors, and economic instruments such as indirect fee schemes for wastewater treatment facilities. In conclusion, strengthening monitoring capacity, participatory evaluation, and multi-level actor integration are key to reducing the rate of recurrent pollution while protecting Bintan\u27s coastal ecosystems and communities
Peningkatan Kepedulian Lingkungan Siswa SMKN 4 Garut melalui Praktik Pembuatan Lubang Resapan Biopori sebagai Upaya Konservasi Tanah dan Air
Perubahan iklim, meningkatnya genangan air, dan belum optimalnya pengelolaan sampah organik di lingkungan sekolah menjadikan upaya konservasi tanah dan air sekaligus pendidikan lingkungan bagi siswa semakin mendesak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 4 Garut dengan tujuan meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan siswa melalui praktik pembuatan lubang resapan biopori sebagai salah satu teknologi konservasi sederhana. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan siswa, guru, dan tim pengabdi dalam tahapan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga refleksi. Rangkaian kegiatan meliputi observasi awal kondisi sekolah, edukasi dan sosialisasi konsep biopori serta konservasi tanah dan air, pelatihan teknis, praktik langsung pembuatan lubang resapan biopori di titik-titik strategis halaman sekolah, serta evaluasi menggunakan instrumen pretest–posttest, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang biopori dan konservasi lingkungan yang tercermin dari kenaikan skor dan pergeseran kategori pengetahuan ke arah lebih tinggi, diikuti tumbuhnya sikap lebih peduli terhadap pengelolaan sampah organik dan kondisi lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu, terbentuk sejumlah lubang resapan biopori yang berfungsi sebagai sarana resapan air dan media pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi PAR dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman efektif
Transformasi Limbah Jeruk Menjadi Biomaterial Pektin sebagai Filosofi Inovasi Medis untuk Pencegahan Adhesi Pasca Laparatomi dan Kontribusinya pada Ekologi Maritim Berkelanjutan
Limbah kulit jeruk yang terus meningkat di berbagai wilayah pesisir berpotensi menurunkan kualitas lingkungan karena aliran limbah organik ke sungai dan laut, sementara dunia medis masih menghadapi persoalan adhesi pasca laparatomi yang menimbulkan nyeri kronis, gangguan kualitas hidup, biaya perawatan tinggi, dan kebutuhan re-operasi. Telaah ini bertujuan merumuskan kerangka konseptual program pengabdian kepada masyarakat pesisir yang memanfaatkan transformasi limbah kulit jeruk menjadi biomaterial pektin sebagai upaya pencegahan adhesi sekaligus pengurangan beban limbah dan pencemaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan analisis konseptual-filosofis terhadap penelitian mengenai karakteristik pektin, mekanisme terbentuknya adhesi, pendekatan bioekonomi sirkular, serta perspektif ekologi maritim dan kesehatan masyarakat, yang kemudian disintesis untuk merancang model edukasi, sosialisasi, pelatihan sederhana ekstraksi pektin, serta pendampingan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan limbah jeruk berbasis partisipasi warga. Hasil dan pembahasan telaah menunjukkan bahwa pektin kulit jeruk memiliki sifat fisikokimia, biokompatibilitas, dan biodegradabilitas yang mendukung sebagai kandidat barrier anti-adhesi, sekaligus memperkuat narasi etis tentang tanggung jawab pengelolaan limbah, perlindungan ekosistem pesisir, dan pengembangan ekonomi lokal berbasis inovasi biomaterial. Kesimpulannya, transformasi limbah kulit jeruk menjadi biomaterial pektin berpotensi menjadi basis program pengabdian yang mengintegrasikan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga, inovasi kesehatan, pengelolaan lingkungan yang lebih baik, serta penguatan ekologi maritim berkelanjutan yang memberi manfaat jangka panjang bagi masyarakat sehingga hasil ini bisa memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi kebutuhan lingkungan dan sosial dalam implementasinya
Exploration of digital book learning media design for improving students\u27 mathematical literacy abilities with the design thinking method
This study aims to investigate solutions to the challenges students face in learning mathematics, particularly difficulties in understanding complex material that lead to decreased motivation and low mathematical literacy during the learning process. The research employs a design thinking approach, which comprises five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. This study specifically focuses on the first three stages—empathizing, defining, and ideating—to identify the needs of both students and teachers and to develop appropriate solution concepts. The study population includes students from State Middle Schools (MTsN) 2 and 3 in Grobogan, with a sample size of 132 students, alongside six mathematics teachers. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed through Google Forms and supplemented by interviews. Effect of flipped classroom models with creative game activities on pupils\u27 mathematics achievement
This study examined the effect of the flipped classroom model and creative mathematics activities and games on mathematics achievement. Two equivalent 4th-grade students from a public school in Kırıkkale, Turkey, were randomly selected to create experimental and control groups. The experimental group consisted of 25 students, while the control group consisted of 27 students. Before the application, a mathematics achievement test prepared by the curriculum was applied to both groups, while Mathematics game videos following the curriculum were ready for the experimental group. Then, application studies were carried out with the experimental group for 4 weeks. Meanwhile, no intervention was made in the control group, and their traditional teaching continued. At the end of 4 weeks, the mathematics achievement test was re-administered to both groups, and the results were compared. While the difference between the experimental group\u27s pre- and posttest mean scores is 16,68, the difference between the control group\u27s pre and posttest mean scores is 6,37. As a result, it was concluded that creative games and activities combined with the flipped classroom model increased mathematics achievement. The study recommended designing creative activities with the flipped classroom model to increase success in other courses, such as mathematics
MANGROVE CERIOPS TAGAL SEBAGAI PEWARNA BATIK ECOPRINT DENGAN METODA IRON BLANKET
Mangrove merupakan tanaman pesisir yang memiliki banyak keuntungan, salah satunya digunakan sebagai zat warna. Zat warna alami yang merupakan pigmen warna dari senyawa bioaktif tanaman telah diteliti dengan baik. Bagian tanaman propagul mangrove diambil mangrove jebis ceriops tagal yang tumbuh disepanjang pesisir Pulau Bintan, Kepuluan Riau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan zat warna alami dari propagul buah tanaman mangrove dan diuji kandungan bioaktif menggunakan metoda skrining fitokimia dan uji karakterisasi dengan FTIR serta implementasi zat warna pada ecoprint menggunakan metoda iron blanket. Hasil skrining fitokimia memperlihatkan positif kandungan alkaloid, flavonoid, polifenol dan tannin sedangkan FTIR memperlihatkan puncak -OH yang dominan sebagai komponen utama metabolit sekunder. Pemanfaatan zat warna dari pigmen tanaman dilakukan dengan mewarnai kain melalui metoda ecoprint dengan berbagai jenis mordant. Dihasilkan bahwa warna pada kain ecoprint menajdi lebih terang tahan lama dan bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai usaha produksi dalam peningkatan ekonomi yang berkelanjuta
