    The Leadership Styles, Entrepreneurial Orientation and Business Performance: Empirical Investigation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Osun State, Nigeria

    This study sought to examine the relationship between leadership styles, entrepreneurial orientation, and performance of SMEs in Osun State, Nigeria. The data were collected from sixty (60) out of one thousand and twenty (1,020) Small and Medium Enterprises operators in Osogbo metropolis that registered with Osun State Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Osogbo metropolis, Osun State, Nigeria through a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was executed with the aid of Correlation and Linear regression. The results revealed that the relationship between transactional leadership, transformational leadership, entrepreneurial orientation, and business performance was positive and significant. It was also revealed that transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and entrepreneurial orientation independently have a significant impact on business performance respectively. It was concluded that leadership styles and entrepreneurial orientation of SMEs operators influenced the success and survival of SMEs in Osun State, Nigeri

    Is Self-Esteem Important to Marketing Literature Branding Perspective from Nike’s Sport Wear Industry in Kish Island

    The purpose of the present study was to determine the impact of variables which create a special value for sport brands like the Nike brand. In other words, the research sought to answer the question of whether customer self-esteem was important for marketing literature. How can it be improved? In addition, for the first time, we examine the relationship between self-esteem and brand addiction in marketing literature. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the research is applied in terms of purpose, which is done by using library studies and field studies from the interview and filling in the questionnaire. The statistical population of the study is 240 of Nike trainers, athletes, customers and sellers in Kish Island. Smart PLS software was used for modeling structural equations and hypothesis testing. The research findings showed that brand attachment has a positive and significant effect on brand love. Brand trust has a positive and significant effect on brand love. Brand love has a positive and significant effect on brand addiction. Brand addiction has a positive and significant effect on consumer self-esteem and also, brand attachment has a positive and significant effect on consumer self-esteem.     In this paper, we obtain well-known B¨acklund transformations of several equationsv by applying Symmetries methods . We indicate by examples how symmetries of a system of differential equations . Also, these equations may be combined with a B¨acklund map for the system to produce another B¨acklund map. Finally we show that one can obtain Symmetries of Soliton equations from their B¨acklund Transformations.We explain briefly the conceptsof LB trasformation group,infinitesimal LB symmetries and the associated evolution equations and the methods of obtaining them

    Markov Moment Problems and Mazur-Orlicz Theorems in Concrete Spaces

    One solves Markov moment and Mazur-Orlicz problems in concrete spaces of functions and respectively operators. One uses earlier results, as well as recent theorems on the subject. One characterizes the existence of a solution, or one gives sufficient conditions for it does exist. Sometimes the uniqueness of the solution of some moment problems follows too. Spaces of continuous, of integrable and respectively analytic functions are considered as domain space of the solution. Usually, an order complete Banach lattice of self-adjoint operators (the bicommutant) is the target-space. Results on the abstract Markov moment problem, the abstract version of Mazur-Orlicz theorem and appropriate knowledge in functional analysis are applied.     Increasing Velocity, Determining the Values at Equilibrium and Remarkable Rate Constants in Inter–Conversion Processes Revisited

    Inter-conversion processes of labile molecules obey similar laws to those of reversible chemical reactions. The main purpose of this review article is to recall and improve and correct previous results on this subject. Namely, one corrects a result on the relationship between two rate constants, in the case when an intermediate state is involved. One proves that by increasing velocity, the concentrations of the main species at equilibrium are equal. This assertion seems to be true in both cases: when an intermediate state is involved and in the opposite case. In the latter case, one characterizes the property of being a projector for the linear transform defined by the matrix of the differential system which governs the process. Namely, one proves that this transform is a projector if and only if the rate constants have a common value. This value is ½ and equals the equal values of the concentrations at equilibrium

    Comparisons of Alternative Axial Distances for Cuboidal Regions of Central Composite Designs Using D and G Efficiencies

    In this study, three axial distances are proposed as alternatives to the existing axial distances of the Central Composite Design (CCD) in cuboidal design regions with the aim of providing formidable alternatives to the existing axial distances of the CCD whose prediction properties are less extreme and more stable in the cuboidal design regions. The three alternative axial distances, namely the arithmetic, harmonic and geometric axial distances for cuboidal regions, were developed algebraically based on the concepts of the three Pythagorean means. The strengths and weaknesses of the alternative axial distances were validated by comparing their performances with the existing axial distances in the cuboidal regions. The D- and G-efficiencies are used for comparison. The cuboidal region shows that the three alternative axial distances are consistently better in terms of the D- and G-efficiencie

    In this paper, our aim is to introduce and study the notion of an α-dot interval valued fuzzy new-ideal of a PU-algebra. The homomorphic images (pre images) of α-dot interval valued fuzzy new-ideal under homomorphism of a PU-algebras have been obtained and some related results have been derived. Finally, we give the properties of the concept of Cartesian product of an α-dot interval valued fuzzy new-ideal of a PU-algebra.

    Efficiency Analysis of Hybrid Fuzzy C-Means Clustering Algorithms and their Application to Compute the Severity of Disease in Plant Leaves

    Data clustering has a wide range of application varying from medical image analysis, social network analysis, market segmentation, search engines, recommender systems and image processing. A clustering algorithm should be fast as well accurate. Some applications give priority to the speed of the clustering algorithms while some emphasize more on the accuracy rather than speed. A number of clustering algorithms have been proposed in the literature. Some of these include Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), Intuitionistic Fuzzy C-Means (IFCM), Rough Fuzzy C-Means (RFCM) and Rough Intuitionistic Fuzzy C-Means (RIFCM). In this paper, we compare the accuracy and execution time of the fuzzy based clustering algorithms. The clustering algorithms are applied on an image dataset and their running time as well as accuracy is compared by varying the number of clusters. Our results show that there is a clear trade-off between execution time and accuracy of these clustering algorithms. Also, we apply these algorithms on two different diseased leaf images and compute the severity of the disease of the leaves

    Pointing Error Reduction Using Fiber Bundle-based Receiver Design for 200km Inter-Satellite Optical-Wireless Communication (IsOWC) Link

    Free Space Optical links have gained significant importance in future generation space optical communication, particularly to establish a reliable optical inter-satellite optical wireless link between two satellite platforms. But the performance of Optical wireless link is degraded very much due to vibration imposed by various sources like; thermal storms, other heavy particles collisions. To address this problem a fiber bundle-based receiver approach other than conventional array of photodetector is required to mitigate the effects of pointing error. The result shows that the effect of pointing errors is reduced in the fiber bundle-based receiver system in compare to conventional receiver and this newly designed receiver system is able to cope up to 10 urad pointing error to achieve minimum Bit Error Rate (BER) and Q-factor for a data rate of 1 Gbps over a 200 km distance. It is practically implementable in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite optical wireless communication link
