Method to Create Inclusive Society in a Community : Based on Interviews to Leaders of Council of Social Welfare of Miyakonojo City
Get PDFThis paper aims to clarify the practice process done by the council of
social welfare of Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Pref. To do so, we conducted
four semi-structured interviews with four social workers of the council who
has been contributing to create inclusive society for years in Miyakonojo
City, which has won substantial acclaim in the field of the community
development.
Firstly, in order to collaborate with community citizens, 3 major
methods were conducted.
They are how to encounter community citizens, how to put importance
on relationship with them, and how to deepen such relationship.
Secondly, while struggling on working at the council, inside support and
outside support relieved interviewees. Inside support were 1. to look into
their own job again and 2. support from other members of the council.
Outside support were 1. the connections with people outside the council,
and 2. to have the places in which they enjoyed themselves.
Thirdly, outcome and challenges towards future were clarified. Outcome
up to day was characterized as good relationship with community, start of
one-person-one-community system, and harmony inside the council
In order to clarify more concrete practice method, further research
should be conducted to the officers of the community council and the

Challenges in the Environmental Load of the Chinese EV Industry

driving. However, in recent years, it has been required to reduce the
burden on the environment for the power supply used by EVs while
driving.
In other words, it has become clear that there is a large environmental
load when using electricity supplied from fossil fuel-based power
generation such as coal-fired power generation.
Recently, in the procurement of raw materials and parts, reduction of
carbon dioxide emissions has become common, and further reduction of
environmental load is required.
In this trend, the main purpose of this paper is to judge the
environmental effects of EVs in China by considering not only the
electricity used during driving but also the entire supply chain required for

Current Status of Food Safety Issues in China and the Response of Governments and Companies : Focusing on New Trends in the 2010s
Get PDFTo guarantee food safety is all important to the national economy and
the people’s livelihood. Food safety accidents had been frequented in China
since its opening up and reform; in particular, the major food safety
accidents that occurred often since the 21st century had not only caused
severe physical damage to victims and hurt the feelings of Chinese people
much, but also marred China’s international image.
To address food safety problems, Chinese governments made active
endeavors to perfect laws and regulations on food safety and improve its
inspection mechanisms. These efforts have yielded good results. Supervised
by the laws and guided by the governments, agriculture-related personnel
and food enterprises actively introduced new production and processing
systems to improve product quality. In the main parts of this paper,
China’s food safety problems in the 2010s are considered, their causes are
explored, major accidents are recounted, the responses from governments
and enterprises are summarized. On this basis, the reality of China’s food
safety is further examined to find out study focuses and their solutions in
the future.
First, we discussed the history and current status of food safety in China
in chronological order at three development stages: food quantity safety,
food quality safety, and food sustainability safety. In particular, he
described the current status of fertilizer and pesticide use, food safety law,
corporate ethics, and strict supervision of social cooperation.
To address recurrent food safety issues, the Chinese government is
actively encouraging the development of new types of agricultural
businesses, promoting standardized vegetable production, establishing and
improving agricultural safety tracking systems, etc. Implemented a series
of policies and measures in rural areas. In this way, it not only ensured
food safety in China, but also promoted agricultural modernization and
sustainable development.
Thanks to years’ efforts from all sectors of society, food safety has
improved a lot. However, new questions arise as to the exact impacts of
the new laws and agricultural polices as well as experimental models on
agricultural production and food safety, whether favorable conditions are
offered to the new-type agricultural businesses in practice, and the
application of the agricultural product tracking system, etc. The answers
need to be found out through follow-up on-site investigations in food
companies and vegetable production bases. Moreover, as the economy
keeps developing, consumers’ values and lifestyles have upgraded, and it is

On the Coaching Process Used by the Japan National Soccer Team at the 30th Summer Universiade Tournament （Naples, 2019）: Establishing a Game Concept Centered on a Game Model
No full textIn the present study, we analyzed games based on a game model, focusing on the Japanese
men’s national soccer team that won the 2019 Summer Universiade Tournament in Naples
in order to validate the coaching process. The following findings were revealed.
1） The game model should be based on the team’s principles and philosophy, and should
not simply call for plays that the coach considers ideal. The game model should be
planned by analyzing the tournament or match in question from multiple angles,
including trends from past tournaments, the match environment and tournament
regulations, and player characteristics.
2） The game model helps players understand the principles of play in four aspects of
soccer, and is an essential element within a series of coaching processes that consists
of game/match analysis, feedback, and training.
3） Game analysis in the coaching process; using the game model as a framework, the
overall coaching process can validate and indicate the best direction for the team.
Within the coaching process, which builds play concepts after analyzing the international
tournament in question from multiple angles, principles of play derived from the game
model take center stage. Moreover, game analysis based on a game model, which serves as
a criterion for player selection and enables the provision of feedback to specific players in
the context of the coaching process used for the national team—which only exists for a
limited time—is also an essential element in the establishment of an efficient training
regime.
Although this study concerned a national team that only exists for a limited period of time,
in the case of school- and club-based teams engaged in league competition, it is a general
requirement for validation based on game analysis to be performed on a weekly basis to
build training regimes and provide athletes with feedback. Further studies of game concepts
centered on a game model that promotes the understanding of the principles of play are

Task Design for Student Output in Asynchronous Online English Classes
Get PDFDue to the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 many educational institutions, including Momoyama
Gakuin University, were forced to move all of their classes to online formats with little
preparation time. While this situation caused all educators to adapt their lesson content and
lesson format to the virtual environment, arguably the biggest disruption was felt by foreign
language teachers who employ communicative language teaching methods. In communicative
language teaching, lessons are centered around the learners’ production of the target language
in communication-based activities. While platforms such as Zoom offer teachers and students
the closest approximation to the real-life classroom, due to various reasons, such as unstable
Internet connections, and lack of access to a suitable place to join the classes, we could not
make attendance to Zoom classes mandatory, and had to provide asynchronous alternatives
for students. This paper will focus on the creation of asynchronous English language lessons
that used task-based learning to create a balance of input and opportunity for output through
the Google Classroom system. In these classes, lessons culminated with students completing
a Speaking Task based on lesson contents, which was recorded and uploaded to Google
Classroom. The related academic theories, and practical examples of the Speaking Tasks will
