    Abstract: Effect of Stirring Time Alum And Phosphate Levels In Liquid Waste Martapura Laundry In Central District. One of the wastes produced is phosphate. Disposal of waste which contains phosphates in the water can cause eutrophication processes in the aquatic environment. Therefore it needs proper methods for treating waste that contains a lot of laundry phosphate compounds that safely discharged into the environment. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of alum and alum stirring time on levels of phosphate in laundry wastewater XXX in Martapura, Banjar.This type of research is shaped Experimental research. Design The study design is randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was liquid waste from the laundry XXX Laundry washing process that represents the entire population of data analysis using One Way ANOVA Test. The result of a decrease in the average levels of phosphate in sequence on each variation of stirring time, ie 92.7%; 99.6%; and 96.7%. The statistical test used is One Way Anova test.     Abstract: The Decrease in the Number of Coli Bacteria in Water of Martapura River Using The Husk Charcoal Filter. The habits of the people along the Martapura river, defecates into the river, causing the river water polluted by Coli bacteria that be able to cause disease. Water treatment is required to improve the water quality of the Martapura river, one of them is using "the husk charcoal filter " to obtain clean water that meets health requirements. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the husk charcoal filter, and determine the thickness of the filter were most effective to decrease the number of coli bacteria in water of Martapura river. In this design, was performed the initial measurements (pretest), performed the treatment and performed the second measurement (posttest), so it could be seen the effectiveness of the treatment. The "husk charcoal filter" was effective to Decrease the Number of Coli Bacteria in the water of Martapura river as much as 69,2% - 99,3%. However, a decrease in the number of coli bacteria still above the standards required by the Water Quality Standard class B, after filtration. Because it still found much bacteria after filtering, it is advisable to boil water to boiling before consumption, because heating is the most effective way to kill microbial pathogens that be able to cause disease.     Abstract: The relationship of total swimmers with residual chlorine in the swimming pool. The swimming pool as a means of public that usually visited by the people can potentially become vehicles for spreading germs through water contaminated media pool so that sanitation should always be considered. This study aims to determine the number of swimmers in the Swimming Pool Antasari Banjarbaru, determine residual chlorine in Swimming Pool. This type of research was analytic research with cross sectional approach. The population is all water swimming pool which used by swimmers and all swimmers in the pool by sampling as much as 5 spots, using correlation analysis. The results showed the number of swimmers on average were 151 swimmers with the lowest number were 113 swimmers and the highest were 223 swimmers. Residual chlorine inside the water of swimming pool was an average of 0.73 mg/L, the standard deviation was 0.71 mg/L with the lowest number was 0.01 mg/L and the highest number was 1.49 mg / L. The results of the analysis did not prove statistically no relationship with the rest of the swimmers amount of chlorine in Swimming Pool because H0 (p = 0.679> value α = 0.05) and the value of r was -0.218 so that the relationship can not be seen. Efforts to do so that residual chlorine water in Swimming Pool in accordance with the requirements is to conduct regular inspections both manager pool and the relevant agencies, maintain the quality of residual chlorine by adding chlorine stabilizer isocyanuric, and perform administration disinfection according to the dosage required to obtain results corresponding residual chlorine required pursuant Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI Nomor: 416/Menkes/Per/IX/1990.     Abstract: Effect Of Addition Bio-Activator EM-4 (Effective microorganism) And Mol (Microorganism Local) Casserole Rice On Timing Of Compost. Composting is the decomposition of organic matter into simple materials is done naturally with the help of microorganisms , but the composting process that occurs naturally long and slow so indispensable ingredient bioactive able to accelerate the composting process. The help of a solution of EM - 4 (Effective microorganism) and MOL (Local Microorganisms) rice casserole that can be accelerated < 2 months . This study aims to determine differences in the addition of EM - 4 bio-activator (Effective Microrganism) with MOL (Micro Organism Local) Rice Casserole to the time of the compost. The method used in this study is experimental which has been experimenting with the observed variables such as time of compost from each - each treatment well control , EM - 4 as well as the addition of a solution MOL stale rice. Then after the data collected will be followed by a test using a One Way Analisys of Variance , the provisions of P value < alpha (0.05). The results showed that the value of p < alpha (0.05) . So there is the effect of the time difference with the help of compost activator EM-4/MOL rice. Then the three treatments of the fastest time of the end of the composting process is treatment with the addition of a solution of the stale rice MOL (15 days). Based on the results of the study can be recommended to accelerate the composting time can be used activator in the form of EM - 4 or with the help of a solution-based MOL stale rice.     Abstract: The Correlation Between Ships Sanitation And The Signs Of The Rats Presence On The Ships That Rest In Trisakti Port Banjarmasin 2017. In accordance with the International Health Regulation (IHR) 2005 and the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 356 of 2008, the Port Health Office is responsible for the port area be rat-free infestation. Ports and ships must be free from the rats presence but data in the ships are find the presence of rats, so it must be fumigation. This study aimed to know the correlation between ships sanitation and the rats presence on ships that rest in Trisakti Port Banjarmasin 2017. This study type was observation in analytic form with cross sectional approach. This samples size were motor boats, tug boat ships, motor vessels and motor tankers, so their total were 20 ships.     Abstract: The Neutralization Process of pH on Peat Water in Desa Sawahan Kecamatan Cerbon Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Desa Sawahan, Kecamatan Cerbon, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, located in the area of peatlands with a pH of water, based on laboratory results, is 3.0. This condition is classified as extreme acid, because pH less than 3.5. Neutralization of the peat water aimed to change the pH or acidity of the water to be normal (pH 7-8) and could help the next process. To raise the pH of acidic water, quicklime (CaO) or limestone (CaCO3) was very appropriate, because they were cheap and easy to be applied. This study is experimental, the laboratory-scale trials with variations: the concentration of solubility of lime and jartest, to obtain the optimum dose of coagulant for improving the quality of pH. Results of the experiments on the variation of the solubility of limestone with varying concentrations showed relatively similar results, ie at a concentration of 1.0%, the pH of the water became 12.49; at a concentration of 0.5%, the pH of the water became 12.47, and at a concentration of 0.1%, the pH of the water became 12.18. In the next test, the addition of lime solution with a concentration of 0.5% as much as 9 mL in 500 mL peat water sample were able to raise the pH from 4.06 to 7.77. Jar test results showed that the injection of 5 mL solution of lime and alum 2 mL were able to raise the pH of peat water from 4.02 to be 7.24 so as to meet the requirements of drinking water with pH 6.5-8.5. To neutralize the peat water with a pH of 4 is required optimum dose of lime solution with a concentration of 0.5% as much as 5 mL (50 mg/L) and alum solution with a concentration of 0.5% as much as 2 mL (20 mg/L).     Abstract: Knowledge, Attitude with Merchants Participation In The Management of Market Waste. In Banjarbaru city waste volume transported by TPS officers per day about 90 tons / day to TPA. One of the source of waste is the market which is a big problem because most of the market waste is wet garbage. So these waste piles become flies nest, rats, insects.Waste management is also influenced by the participation of merchants that were still lacking awareness to play an active role in the implementation. The purpose of this study is to determine the relations of knowledge, attitude with the participation of merchants in waste management in the Bauntung market Banjarbaru. The type of this research is analytical survey research with Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study is all merchants in the Bauntung market Banjarbaru. The sample is 85 respondents, obtained by proportional sampling method. The research variables consist of independent variables, namely knowledge and attitude while the dependent variable is the participation of merchants in waste management. Data analysis used is univariat and bivariate (using Chi Square with α = 0,05). The result of the research stated that there is no correlation between knowledge level and participation (p-value 0,747> 0,05).     Abstract: Based on the data obtained from Puskesmas Cempaka, it is known that malaria is an endemic disease in the Kecamatan Cempaka. The cases of malaria in the Kecamatan Cempaka in 2011, 2012, and 2013 respectively were 58, 60, and 61. Case Fatality Rate (CFR) of malaria in the Kecamatan Cempaka in 2013 was 3.18%. This study aimed to describe the distribution of malaria incidence by age, sex, place of residence, history of the scene, and the time of occurrence. This research is descriptive. The sample is the malaria patients who were living in the Kecamatan Cempaka, as many as 61 people. The results showed entire that the age of patients ranged from 8 to 63 years with an average of 29 years. The men are most affected by malaria (95%). Most malaria patients (49%) came from the Kelurahan Sei.Tiung. All the history of malaria incidence derived from outside the Kecamatan Cempaka, because most patients go home after work in the KabupatenTanah Bumbu (29%). Peak incidence of malaria is occurred in May of 2013 (27%). Epidemic of malaria has the potential to occur in the Kecamatan Cempaka due to the presence of Anopheles.     Abstract: Effectivity of waste water treatment installations in Hospital’s X Banjar Regency.Hospital’s X has a wastewater treatment Installations which began operating from the year 2008 – until now. The system uses the wastewater treatment Installations processing system for aerobic and anaerobic biological in a wastewater treatment process using media hive of bees to do the filtering. In the media there is a biofilm that attached to the media hive of bees to help the process of decomposition of organic and inorganic materials. This research aims to know the performance of waste water treatment installations in Hospital’s X  Banjar Regency. This type of research is descriptive, i.e. describe the performance measurement quality by doing the wastewater treatment Installations for parameters pH, temperature, BOD, COD, TSS, and free Ammonia (NH3-N) and compared with Regulation of South Kalimantan Governor number 04 in 2007 about the raw quality of liquid waste for the activities of the hospital. The research design used observation, interviews and measurements. Method of sampling used composite sampling. The results showed that the performance of the the wastewater treatment Installations at Hospital’s X still hasn't been fullest measurement results from the laboratory, the value of the measurement of BOD, COD, TSS and Ammonia free still not qualify. This is due to the existence of problems on aerobic processing, bak bak bak pengendap end, chlorination and a monitoring that is the abundance of mud that settles in the base of the tub because it never done drain the mud.     Aplikasi Penyemprotan Perasan Daun Kamboja (Plumeria acuminata) Terhadap Kematian Lalat Rumah (Musca domestica)

    Abstract: Spraying application leaf squeeze kamboja (plumeria acuminata) to death fly house (musca domestica). Housefly (Musca domestica) is a vector for transmission of various types of mechanically transmitted diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, cholera, typhoid, salmonellosis and viral gastrointestinal diseases. One of the control flies using environmentally friendly plant-based insecticides.  Researchers used insecticides in the form of freshly squeezed vegetable leaf with frangipani (Plumeria acuminata). The objective was to knowing the influence of leaf squeeze spraying frangipani with a concentration of 40 percent, 50 percentand and 60 percent of the death house fly. This study uses experimental design With Post Test Only Control Group Design. The object of this study is the 480 flies were obtained from the TPS Market Tlagareja. This research was carried out by spraying the leaf squeeze frangipani at a concentration of 40%, 50% and 60%. Counting the number of deaths house fly performed after 24 hours. The results of this research are there meaningful influence of sraying the frangipani leaf squeeze againts the death house flies and the value of sig 0,000. Concentration of 40%, 50%, and 60% respectively can be deadly flies an average of 5 tails, 10 tails and 15 tails. The most effective concentration was 60% obtained from the LSD test with significance level of 0.000 and Different Mean values (IJ) is the largest 10.00000. The conclusion is an effect spraying frangipani leaf squeeze with a concentration of 40%, 50%, and 60% of the death house fly. The most effective concentration to kill flies is at 60%, with an average mortality of flies 15 tails. Keywords: frangipani leaf, house flies, insecticide plan
