Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Stunting dan Wash (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) Bagi Orang Tua di Sekitar TPA Bukit Pinang Kota Samarinda
Get PDFStunting is one of the recent health issues in Samarinda city. The result of research showed that 32,5% of children has experienced stunting in around Bukit Pinang final disposal in 2020. Stunting were caused by various factor, such us environmental factors water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). Based on the data, it needed intervention activity such us education about stunting and WASH. The activity aimed to analyze the level of knowledge about stunting and WASH. The method of this activity through discussion and pre-post test questionnaire. The result of data analysy reported that there was the significant difference between before and after education abaut stunting (p = 0.032) and WASH (p = 0.008). It recommend to continue the education activities due to analyse the level of behavior about this project.Stunting is one of the recent health issues in Samarinda city. During the pandemic, students must be able to implement health protocols and maintain dental and oral health by brushing their teeth properly. PAUD teachers can become cadres for their students to provide education and training on those issues. The purpose of this activity is to carry out one of the components of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. The benefits of this activity are forming cadres, namely Aldercy PAUD teachers, so they can provide education about health protocols during a pandemic and dental and oral health for students at Aldercy PAUD. The method of service is lectures and training on health protocols during a pandemic and dental and oral health. The target audience was 12 Aldercy PAUD teachers. The results showed that this activities ran smoothly and participants were enthusiastic. Aldercy The participants were also trained to become dental and oral health cadres. Penyuluhan Manajemen Pengelolaan Limbah Rumah Tangga Sebagai Upaya Pencegahan Stunting
Get PDFIndonesia is one of the countries with a fairly high number of stunting cases. One of the causes of stunting is poor environmental health conditions in the form of lack of access to clean water, inadequate sanitation, and poor waste management. Poor environmental sanitation factors increase infectious diseases such as diarrhea, Environmental Enteric Dysfunction (EED), and helminthiasis. These conditions can cause growth disorders to occur stunting and can increase mortality in toddlers. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge and understanding to the Gunung Kelua Village community about how to manage household waste (garbage and liquid waste) as an effort to prevent stunting. The method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Based on the results of data analysis using the non-parametric test Wilcoxon result that there is a significant difference between before and after the extension activities of waste management (p-value 0.011 <0.05) and liquid waste management counseling (p-value 0.007 <0.05). Similar activities need to be carried out to support government programs in reducing stunting rates.Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan kasus stunting yang cukup tinggi. Salah satu penyebab stunting adalah kondisi kesehatan lingkungan yang buruk berupa kurangnya akses air bersih, sanitasi tidak layak serta pengelolaan sampah yang buruk. Faktor sanitasi lingkungan yang buruk berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan penyakit infeksi seperti diare, Environmental Enteric Dysfunction (EED), dan kecacingan. Kondisi tersebut dapat menyebabkan gangguan pertumbuhan hingga terjadi stunting serta dapat meningkatkan kematian pada balita. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan juga pemahaman kepada masyarakat Kelurahan Gunung Kelua tentang cara pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga (sampah dan limbah cair) sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode uji nonparametrik Wilcoxon diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan kegiatan penyuluhan pengelolaan sampah (p-value 0,011 < 0,05) dan penyuluhan pengelolaan limbah cair (p-value 0,007 < 0,05). Kegiatan serupa perlu terus dilakukan untuk mendukung program pemerintah dalam menurunkan angka stunting

In Indonesian Hospitals, the quality of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, which is abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of human resources who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. HR who carry out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspection (IPM) of medical devices, are HR with electromedical qualifications. Cath Lab is the latest technology in the medical world. Therefore, many electromedical technicians do not understand the latest developments in the Cath Lab IPM process. In order to prepare hospital services with quality Cath Lab tools, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on HDI from this Cath Lab equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meetings Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 22.28% from the initial ability of 46.48% to 68.76%. The implementation of the covid-19 vaccination for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers has received many pros and cons in the community, especially people in remote areas. So many people refuse to get vaccinated against covid-19. The increase in cases of exposure to covid-19 in pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers was found in urban areas and even in remote areas, especially in Bola Village, South Buton Regency. Based on this case, we conducted education to pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers by distributing questionnaires. This was followed by a discussion and question and answer session about the importance of the covid-19 vaccination. We hold counseling for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers so that they can understand and participate in government programs by carrying out complete vaccinations (dose 1 and 2) in order to break the chain of spread of covid-19. Pelatihan Penggunaan Laboratorium Virtual Berbasis Aplikasi Phet Simulation di Kabupaten Kampar
Get PDFKampar Regency is located in the Riau Province. This district consists of 21 sub-districts where there are 140 SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent schools. The problem faced in several public and private schools in this region is the lack of laboratory facilities in carrying out science experiments in the field of physics. In addition, the time to conduct experiments in the physics laboratory is also very less due to the dense activities of teachers and students in achieving other competencies. The low skill of teachers in using virtual laboratory technology is also a major factor in not carrying out experiments in the field of physics, so that it has an impact on the low level of understanding of students. The solution offered in overcoming the problem is the use of a virtual laboratory in the implementation of experiments in the field of physics. The first step in overcoming the above problems is to provide socialization of the benefits of the Phet Simulation application. Furthermore, training on the use of physics teachers for SMA/SMK/MA in Kampar Regency was carried out. The training on the use of phet simulation applications given to 32 teacher participants has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of participants by 12.7%. To achieve an increase in knowledge and skills of at least 80%, continuous mentoring must be carried out again for participants.Kabupaten Kampar terletak di wilayah Provinsi Riau, Kabupaten ini terdiri dari 21 kecamatan dimana terdapat 140 Sekolah SMA/SMK/MA sederajat. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di beberapa sekolah negeri maupun swasta di wilayah ini adalah minimnya fasilitas laboratorium dalam melaksanakan eksperimen sains di bidang fisika. Selain itu waktu untuk melakukan eksperimen di laboratorium fisika juga sangat kurang dikarenakan padatnya kegiatan guru dan peserta didik dalam pencapaian kompetensi lainya. Rendahnya keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan teknologi laboratorium virtual juga menjadi faktor utama tidak terlaksananya eksperimen di bidang fisika, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat pemahaman peserta didik. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam mengatasi permasalahan ialah penggunaan laboratorium virtual dalam pelaksanaan eksperimen di bidang fisika. Langkah pertama dalam mengatasi permasalahan diatas yaitu dengan memberikan sosialisasi manfaat dari aplikasi Phet Simulation. Selanjutnya dilakukan pelatihan penggunaan kepada guru-guru fisika SMA/SMK/MA Kabupaten Kampar. Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi phet simulation yang diberikan kepada 32 peserta guru telah berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta sebesar 12,7 %. Untuk mencapai peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan minimal 80% maka harus dilakukan lagi pembimbingan berkelanjutan terhadap peserta

Get PDFThe health condition of Indonesian citizens is guaranteed by the Constitution of the State of Indonesia. The constitutional guarantee mandates that the state is obliged to provide public health services to its citizens. One way to ensure that people have good health conditions is through the provision of waste management services. There was a paradigm shift after the issuance of Law No. 18 of 2008 on Waste Management, where waste management is not only the duty and responsibility of the Local Government but also the obligation of the community. Community involvement in waste management is included as a form of retribution in supporting waste management policies. Community involvement to contribute to waste management policies in the form of retribution for waste services needs to be supported by the existence of local legal products as the legal basis for collecting the retribution. In order to participate in development in the Lumajang Regency area, especially in the stage of preparing legal products in the form of Regional Regulations Concerning Public Service Retribution on Waste Services in 2021, community service is held in the form of mentoring activities. Assistance is provided to prepare Academic Papers and Draft Regional Regulations. Mentoring activities are carried out using the focus group discussion method and assistance in the preparation of legal products. With the implementation of this mentoring activity at the end of 2021, an Academic Paper and a Draft Regional Regulations Concerning Public Service Retribution on Waste Services have been compiled.Kondisi kesehatan warga negara Indonesia telah dijamin oleh Konstitusi Negara Indonesia. Jaminan konstitusi tersebut memberikan amanat bahwa negara wajib memberikan layanan public kepada warganya. Salah satu layanan public kepada warga negara agar tetap memiliki kondisi kesehatan yang baik melalui kewenangan pelayanan pengelolaan persampahan. Terjadi perubahan paradigma setelah diterbitkannya UU No. 18 Tahun 2008 tentang Pengelolaan Sampah, dimana pengelolaan sampah tidak lagi menjadi tugas dan tanggungjawab Pemerintah Daerah, namun juga menjadi kewajiban masyarakat. Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan persampahan tersebut termasuk dalam bentuk retribusi untuk mendukung pengelolaan persampahan. Pelibatan masyarakat untuk berkontribusi dalam pengelolaan persampahan dalam bentuk retribusi pelayanan persampahan perlu didukung produk hukum daerah sebagai landasan hukum untuk pemungutan retribusi tersebut. Dalam rangka ikut berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan di wilayah Kabupaten Lumajang, khususnya dalam penyusunan produk hukum berupa Peraturan Daerah tentang Retribusi Pelayanan Persampahan diselenggarakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa kegiatan pendampingan. Pendampingan dilakukan untuk Menyusun Naskah Akademik dan Draft Ranperda. Kegiatan pendampingan dilakukan dengan mempergunakan metode diskusi kelompok terfokus dan asistensi penyusunan produk hukum. This program involves posyandu cadres in the aisyiah community. Due to limited knowledge, funds, and the number of cadres, this activity cannot run optimally. Therefore, it is necessary to create an empowerment program to maximize healthy kitchen activities for toddlers, such as: providing healthy menus with balanced nutrition for infants and toddlers in the Aisyiah branch, Prenggan, Kota Gede. The methods that is excecuted are: doing observation to the community service location, distributing of the food menu, and checking the infants/toddlers’s weight. Community service activities have been carried out by implementing the health protocol by providing healthy menus for 20 infants/toddlers. The more people who have the passion and desire in entrepreneurship will be able to create jobs and reduce unemployment so that the economy in an area will increase. To be able to have an entrepreneurial spirit, a creative and innovative thinking is needed in running a business,. At this time batik which is one of the inheritances from our ancestors is starting to be favored by all people for various things including for modern clothing, interior goods. Therefore need to create creative works of art by exploring and combining ecoprint and batik techniques into textile artworks. In this service activity, we try to provide training on making ecoprint batik by utilizing existing natural resources, namely leaves by going through various stages, namely: the mordanting stage, sketching, steaming, lifting and cooling the fabric, color locking and drying. This training was attended by women from the Department of Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries of Balikpapan City.
