Get PDFEl porcentaje de personas mayores de 65 años se sitúa en un 18’7% previendo un aumento de 15’9 puntos para el año 2066. Casi la mitad de la población mayor de 65 años padece algún dolor crónico y más de la mitad ven afectada su vida diaria. Nuestro trabajo va dirigido al estudio de la calidad de vida y del dolor crónico en mayores institucionalizados con el objetivo de analizar dicha relación.The percentage of people over 65 years stands at 18'7%, predicting an increase of 15'9 points for the year 2066. Almost half of the population over 65 years suffers from chronic pain and more than half of them has consequences in their daily life. Our work is the focused on the study of quality of life and chronic pain in institutionalized elderly people with the aim of analyzing this relationship

El objetivo de nuestro trabajo se va a centrar en un paciente que ha sido sometido a una angioplastia primaria, tras haber sufrido un síndrome coronario agudo con elevación del segmento ST. Pretendemos identificar los problemas de salud reales y potenciales que permitan la toma de decisiones, con base en el conocimiento y evidencia existente del cuidado de enfermería, para ser aplicado en forma sistemática y organizada. La metodología empleada consta de una búsqueda bibliográfica y una descripción de un proceso de atención de enfermería(PAE).The cardiovascular disease is the main cause of death in the whole world. The aim of this essay will focus on a patient who has undergone a primary angioplasty after suffering from an acute coronary syndrome with ST-segment elevation. We intend to identify both real and potential health problems that would influence the decission-making process basing on existing evidence and knowledge on nursing care, in order to be implemented sequentially. We have reviewed the applications that are aimed at implementing these technologies in the existing data repositories. Así queda justificada la importancia de valorar qué herramientas pueden ser utilizadas en el aula para favorecer climas emocionales facilitadores del aprendizaje. En el presente artículo analizamos el papel del contagio emocional y las neuronas espejo en la creación del clima emocional.Within the educational field, the attention paid to emotional aspects is increasing day after day due to their importance in the teaching-learning process. The creation of adequate emotional climates is a real challenge for the teacher since emotions seem to have the ability to modulate the activity of other cognitive functions. This justifies the importance of assessing which tools can be used in the classroom to favor emotional climates that facilitate learning. First literary picture of Native-Americans: colonial approach to Shakespeare’s The Tempest
Get PDFEste artículo busca analizar La Tempestad de Shakespeare bajo una perspectiva colonial. Hay un particular interés en tres figuras que considero clave para el consiguiente análisis. Por un lado, Prospero el colono y, por otro lado, los sujetos coloniales, Ariel y Calibán. Junto con dinámicas imperialistas, términos como lenguaje, representaciones o poder serán también brevemente discutidos. Esta investigación es de carácter innovador teniendo en cuenta la poca literatura que puede encontrarse en referencia a Shakespeare y estudios coloniales. Para esa finalidad, no solo he acudido a teoristas poscoloniales, sino que me he referido a reseñas anteriormente escritas sobre el tema.This article aims to analyse Shakespeare’s The Tempest from a colonial perspective. There is an exceptional interest in three key figures I do consider to be fundamental for the coming analysis. On the one hand, Prospero, the settler, and, on the other, Ariel and Caliban as colonised subjects. Along with imperialistic dynamics, language, representations or power will also be briefly discussed. This paper is moreover rather innovative considering the very few literature written on Shakespeare and colonialism. To that end, I have consulted not only postcolonial theorists but reviews on the subject at hand
Detection and identification of bats according to their bio-acoustics
Get PDFLes espècies de ratpenats o quiròpters emeten entre 15 i 130 kHz. La senyal de freqüència emesa està situada fora dels límits d’audició de l´oïda humana (entre 20 Hz i 20 kHz). Amb un micròfon d’ultrasons (Bat tune), es detecta i es sent les senyals dels ratpenats, que les processa i reprodueix dins del nostre rang audible. Les dades recollides són al riu Ripoll (Sabadell) i a Castella - la Manxa. Aquest article forma part del treball de recerca de secundària.The different species of bats emit a signal whose frequency ranges from 15 to 130 kHz. These values of frequency lie beyond those which humans can perceive – between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. By using an ultrasonic microphone (Bat tune), the waves sent out by bats are detected, then they are processed and finally re-emitted within the human hearing range of frequencies. Get PDFEn el presente artículo se aborda el “Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad”, poniendo énfasis en los criterios a seguir para un correcto diagnóstico, así como en la importancia de una detención temprana para una correcta valoración e intervención, con el objetivo de paliar dicho trastorno desde una intervención interdisciplinar. Se concluye con las dificultades de aprendizaje, de conducta y emocionales que se manifiestan a nivel escolar, afectando a la calidad de vida del niño y con las estrategias de intervención pertinentes para poder llevar a cabo y reducir el bajo rendimiento académico de los alumnos con TDAH.This article deals with the “Disorder by Deficit of Attention with Hyperactivity" in detail, with emphasis on the items to follow for a correct diagnosis as well as the importance of an early arrest for a correct assessment and intervention, in order to alleviate this disorder from an interdisciplinary intervention. It is concluded with the difficulties of learning, behaviour and emotional manifesting themselves at the school level affecting the quality of life of the child and relevant intervention strategies in order to carry out and reduce the poor academic performance of these students
