Relationship between bullying and self-esteem in Primary Education: aggressor's perspective
Get PDFEl acoso escolar, en la actualidad está generando a nivel global gran preocupación. El rol del agresor, cuenta con características personales particulares en función del tipo de agresividad que muestre, donde la autoestima es clave. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la relación entre la agresividad escolar y la autoestima. Un total de 225 escolares fueron evaluados, mediante las herramientas European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire, y la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg. Los resultados indican que la agresividad no varía con el trascurso de la edad. Se observan correlaciones negativas y significativas entre la agresividad y autoestima negativa.Bullying is currently generating great concern at the global level. The role of the aggressor, has particular personal characteristics depending on the type of aggressiveness that shows, where self-esteem is key. The objective of this paper is to analyze the relationship between school aggressiveness and self-esteem. A total of 225 students were evaluated, using the European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire tools, and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. The results indicate that the aggressiveness does not change with the course of age. Negative and significant correlations are observed between aggressiveness and negative self-esteem

Por ello, es necesario analizar por qué motivos los alumnos eligen y rechazan a sus compañeros de aula. Esta investigación estudia los motivos aducidos por los estudiantes de un instituto de educación secundaria. Los resultados muestran que los alumnos se dejan llevar por motivos de amistad y afinidad, y no por otros como la apariencia física, el carácter o la competencia académica.Social relationships among students have a profound influence on their development. Thus, this can affect at cognitive, psychosocial and academic level. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse why students choose and reject their classmates. This research studies the reasons given by the students of a secondary school. The results show that students get carried away for reasons of friendship and affinity, instead of others such as physical appearance, character or academic competence

Por tanto, la realización de una técnica adecuada de lavado de manos, es elemental para conseguir que haya menor número de infecciones nosocomiales en centros sanitarios.The act of washing hands is the most important measure for the prevention of infectious diseases. Muchas veces los síntomas pasan inadvertidos para padres, pediatras y profesores. Por eso la presencia de síntomas físicos (mal estar general, mareos) o bajada en el rendimiento escolar, entre otros, deberían advertir al profesorado para valorar estos síntomas que a veces son indicativos de sintomatología ansiosa. El diagnóstico debe ser confirmado por los servicios sanitarios.
