Pero la ciencia es una actividad condicionada socialmente que requiere que el alumnado aprenda a valorar críticamente sus avances. Organizar actividades fuera del aula que muestren el lugar que ocupa la ciencia en nuestra sociedad puede contribuir a ello. En este artículo se recoge una propuesta de actividades que los Departamentos de ciencias pueden poner en práctica, de forma conjunta, para mejorar la formación de su alumnado.Nowadays, teaching science requires educating pupils in multiple aspects of the scientific knowledge. Learning the most important concepts, laws and scientific theories and their applications constitutes a first step in this direction. But science is conditioned by the social development and ESO and Bachillerato students have to learn to estimate critically the scientific progress, its advantages and disadvantages. Organizing outdoors activities that show the students the place of science in our society can be useful in this sense. This paper shows a proposal of activities that science teachers can develop to improve their pupils scientific education

A través de este proyecto se pretenden sentar las bases de las características propias de las actividades de fomento de la lectura y aplicar dichas características y las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación a un ejemplo práctico aplicable en el aula, la creación de un club de lectura online, que resulte en el desarrollo del gusto por la lectura en los adolescentes.The present paper shows the need to motivate compulsory secondary education students to reading encouragement. This encouragement need becomes apparent as a consequence of the PISA report’s results, as well as the literature search which reveals changes in the way teenagers work. This project is aimed at laying the ground for the reading encouragement activities’ characteristics and how to apply these specific characteristics together with information and communication technologies to a practical example applicable in the classroom, the establishment of an online reading club that leads to the development of a taste for reading in adolescents
