    Didactic Literature in Indonesian Children's Islamic Novels

    The Indonesian children's Islamic novel Baju Biru Yang Bolong by Chris Oetoyo contains didactic values. It can be seen from the expression written by the author. This study aimed to describe didactic literature in Indonesian children's Islamic novels in terms of the content/expressions of Islamic literature. This research used qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data analysis was carried out based on the Islamic theory of didacticism. The results showed that the author's expression in the Indonesian children's Islamic novel Baju Biru Yang Bolong by Chris Oetoyo follows. (1) The contents/expressions contained in the novel contain creed, sharia, and ihsan (morals). (2) The didactic literary content in the novel provides moral, religious, and social teaching. (3) The novel contains factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive knowledge dimensions. (4) The novel can be used as a source and solution based on sharia knowledge. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that didactic literature in the Indonesian children's Islamic novel Baju Biru Yang Bolong by Chris Oetoyo is very relevant to be used as children's reading material because it has didactic values ​​that can build children's character

    Efficiency of Working Capital Management using Y-Score Model: An Evidence of BSE SENSEX.

    Due to supply chain interruptions, the COVID-19 pandemic posed substantial issues in managing working capital. The current study looks at the effectiveness of working capital management among non-financial firms listed in the BSE SENSEX from the 2010-11 to 2019-20. The Y-Score model and its various constituents were used to analyse the efficiency of working capital management. In addition, various regression models have been developed for the desired level of efficiency. The overall Y-Score model depicts that the firms listed in the BSE SENSEX perform well in managing working capital during the study period. Furthermore, the Sun Pharmaceutical Inds Ltd was the only successful firm followed by Nestle India Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd to achieve the target level of efficiency. The study suggests that companies listed in BSE SENSEX should improve their sales faster than tangible assets and also firms should improve their cash flows

    What Is Shown by Bibliometric Analysis? A Review on Creativity Development in Science Class

    The aim of this study is to provide an extensive bibliometric literature review on 'creative thinking skills’ and 'creativity' in science classrooms. Articles found by Publishing or Perish software (PoP) with Google Scholar (GS) database. There were 994 articles found from the GS database from 2010 to 2021, 498 articles were analyzed in this study. The selected references are then managed using reference manager software, namely Zotero. After managing the database, this research classifies and visualizes it using VosViewer software. Generally, the review provides an appropriate reference point for further research on the development of creativity and creative thinking skills in science classrooms. The keywords contained in network visualization and overlay visualization refer to the RADEC model as a contemporary teaching strategy that is expected to be able to build students' creativity and creative thinking skills in science class. Further research is needed to ensure that the RADEC model is a strategy capable of building students' creativity and creative thinking skills across academic and scientific levels

We do not yet know just how it will unfold, but one thing is clear: the response to it must be integrated and comprehensive, involving all stakeholders of the global polity, from the public and private sectors to academia and civil society.The institute of Technology and College of Education come up with a research to assess the factors affecting students and faculty readiness in online internship. The output of this study will serve as an input for the Institutional planning and development of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in order to address the gap that will hamper the services provided by the university to all its stakeholders.The study cannot be over emphasized because of the fact that the preparedness of online internship transmission have become an essential element in every aspect of human society in today’s globalized world, its contribution in enhancement of the teaching – learning process to individuals, groups, society and to educational institutions have been overwhelming.     Legal education is a fundamental connection in the Chinese general set of laws, especially when China has vowed to administer the country by law and order. Legal education acts as a vital stage for individuals working within the legal profession, preparing judges and lawyers, and also other legal staff. Lawful instruction within 21st Century China has two fundamental missions: first, working with the nation's science & schooling drive, and second, working with law and order in the country. It can be said that without the advancement of legal education, law and order may be something like an unfilled word. The mission of legal training has become more down-to-earth in the feeling of serving the advancement of the market economy growth. The market-arranged financial advancement has achieved severe interest for modern legal administrations. Legal education has grown broadly over the most recent twenty years; lawful training and legal practice are still generally independent. A sample of 241 respondents was surveyed to determine the factors determining the Problems and Perspectives of Legal Education in China. The study concludes that the Quality of Legal education, Education and Demand, Reform and Perspective, and Practical Skill Training determine the Problems and Perspectives of Legal Education in China

    Job Stress Determinants: A Study on Job Order Employees of State Universities in Samar

    Work motivation and performance among job order employees in different state universities in Samar is a determinant to the achievement of organization goals. Similar studies conducted focused on private companies, and mostly on faculty members in government agencies. The purpose of this study is to identify the various stressors that are mostly experienced that affect work productivity levels, and a factor to high job order employee turnover. Using the Principal Component Analysis, the most important variables were identified. Work attitudes among co-workers, heavy workload and job advancement and security were found to be the most significant stressors. Further studies with a wider geographical scope may be conducted for comprehensive results appropriate for improving work environment and policy formulation

Constant development in service quality has become one of the most essential goals for many organizations, institutions in various industries, and for diverse reasons. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting schools, students, teachers and parents. Education is the major factor in determining the growth of a country, and the changes that will affect the country's development are expected from higher education institutions. Higher education institutions have become global businesses, which must always look for new methods to improve the quality of services. The service quality improvement and development is critically essential issue for organizations, particularly higher education institutions, to satisfy the students' needs for better educational environment that contribute to the achievement of their satisfaction.     The Analysis of Objectives of Grade 10 English Textbook for Ethiopia Using Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy

    The problem under this study was analyzing the objectives of Grade 10 English Textbook for Ethiopia. It was particularly targeted on finding out whether the objectives are measurable or not, and evaluating them in terms of Lower-Order and Higher-Order Thinking Skills. The study adopted purely descriptive quantitative research approach. The findings indicated that 85.1% of the textbook objectives are measurable, which are clear and achievable. The remaining 14.9% of the objectives are non-measurable, which are rather general and unclear. Regarding the cognition dimension dominating the objectives of the textbook, this study indicated that 78.47% of the textbook objectives are Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) focused. The remaining 21.5% of the objectives are Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).Finally, the study recommends textbook developers to make all objectives measurable, and reconsider the proportion of Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the objectives they design in Grade 10 English Textbook for Ethiopia. More importantly, the English teachers have to give extra classroom activities related to HOTS

    Teachers’ Flexibility and ICT-Adeptness in the Now Normal in Education

    Study objectives aimed to find out how 311, mostly female and single basic education teachers, within the age group 21-30, coming from big urban public schools, assessed their own flexibility and ICT adeptness in implementing blended and flexible teaching and learning in the now normal landscape of education, almost two years since local public and private schools, colleges and universities went on lockdown in 2020. There is a continuing need to ascertain teachers’ level of flexibility and ICT adeptness for blended and flexible learning with most learners continuing to be online. Findings conclude that “Teachers are Very Flexible” in implementing the 5 components of Flexibility: Time, Content, Entry Requirements, Instructional Approach and Resources, and Delivery and Logistics.  Likewise, “Teachers are Always ICT Adept” in the 4 components of ICT-Adeptness:  Teaching Content, Teacher-Student Interaction, Teaching Form and Teaching Environment.  Profile-wise, male teachers are more flexible and ICT aware, and single teachers spend longer and earlier times in school. Significant differences are seen in teachers’ flexibility based on school location and school type, but not based on school size. It is also concluded that teachers coming from big, urban, public schools are “Always ICT Adept,” though significant differences are seen based on their sex and age, but not civil status. It is recommended that DepEd maximize on these profile variables in the recruitment and placement of teachers; that the basic education curriculum be reviewed further to continually enable blended and flexible learning; and continue implementation of Minimum Education Learning Competencies
