Perceptions of Elementary Learners on the Functions of School Counselors in Alamada, Cotabato, Philippines
This study explored the perceptions of elementary learners regarding the roles and functions of school counselors in selected public schools in Alamada, Cotabato, Philippines. It aimed to identify the learners’ socio-demographic characteristics in terms of sex, age, and ethnolinguistic group, determine their perceived importance of various counselor roles, and examine whether significant relationships exist between these characteristics and their perceptions. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed, utilizing a validated structured questionnaire to gather data. The sample consisted of selected Grade 6 learners from Raradangan, Macabasa, and Pigcawaran Elementary Schools, chosen through convenience sampling. Descriptive statistics and Spearman-rho correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. Findings revealed that learners perceive all six counselor roles as very important, with the role of collaborator receiving the highest mean rating. Significant relationships were found between sex and perceptions of counselors as advocates, collaborators, coordinators, and managers, while age showed no significant relationship with any role. The ethnolinguistic group was significantly related only to the role of data utilizer. These results suggest that learners’ perceptions of counselor roles are generally positive but can be influenced by specific socio-demographic factors. Based on the findings, it is recommended that school counseling programs be enhanced through gender-responsive and culturally sensitive practices. Strengthening collaboration among counselors, educators, parents, and community stakeholders is also vital to improving the delivery and impact of guidance services in elementary education
Customer Satisfaction Drivers with Digital Therapeutic Platform Experiences: The Mediating Effect of Perceived Hedonic Value
Underpinned by expectancy disconfirmation theory and perceived value theory, this paper explores customer satisfaction drivers towards digital therapeutic platforms (i.e., reliability, product diversity, and sales promotion). Besides, this paper examines the role of perceived hedonic value in three drivers–customer satisfaction relationships. Employing online survey, 416 Saudi customers’ responses were collected. ADANCO-PLS findings indicated that reliability, product diversity, and sales promotion directly affect perceived hedonic value. Further, perceived hedonic value was partially mediated in the relationships between customer satisfaction towards therapeutic service-related digital platforms and its three drivers. This paper contributes to the existing literature on digital platforms by providing evidence on how digital platforms that incorporate pleasure, and utilitarian dimensions positively influence customers’ experiences in digital therapeutic services. Our findings have valuable implications for platform providers who want to maximize customer involvement and satisfaction
Role of Environmental Tax, Financial Development and Political Stability to Address the Renewable Energy Challenges: Empirical Study for MENA Region
The rise in economic growth and use of energy in developing countries are causing a big increase in the environmental pollution that harms the public health. So, this study is about the incline towards renewable energy in developing countries. It looks at how things like having more money, taxing pollution, and having a stable government can help these countries to use more renewable energy. We have compiled the data from approximately 21 MENA countries from 1990 to 2020 using GMM and CSARDL approaches. The results from CSARDL matched the results from GMM, which makes the findings reliable and strong. The long- term findings showed that although green invention and the use of renewable energy cut emissions, financial development raises carbon emissions. However, there was a notable variation in the emigrations mitigating impacts of both variables, with green invention having a lesser significance with emission mitigation. While the short-run outcome likewise yield parallel conclusions, the magnitude of their measure is comparatively lower. The finding report the incorporation of green technology and renewable energy with financial sector will be useful to counter the environmental consequences

The data was collected through comprehensive surveys, in-depth interviews, and detailed case studies conducted over a two-month period. Findings reveal that the implementation of smart management systems resulted in an average 20% reduction in production downtime, a 15% improvement in OEE, and annual cost savings averaging PHP 3,500,000. However, challenges such as high initial implementation costs and the need for extensive staff training were also noted. This research underscores the potential of smart management systems to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs while also highlighting the practical challenges that need to be addressed for successful implementation
Spatial Configuration as a Method to Measure the Actual and Potential Ability of Spaces Used by Indoor and Outdoor Users
Paying attention to native architecture and at the same time new approaches to its reading has always been one of the topics of interest in architecture. A better understanding of the native architecture of each region leads to better design and greater adaptability of the design to its context. Therefore, in this research, we have investigated and analyzed the native housing of Iran with a case study of Yazd to design a residential complex with the indicators of native houses in the past. Due to the ever-increasing growth of technology and the evolution of attitudes toward understanding architecture, the method of reading native architecture in this research is a relatively new technique called spatial syntax and spatial configuration. In this study, a mixed research method was used. In this way, descriptive and analytical methods have been used to understand the reading of data and finally, logical reasoning has been used to provide design solutions. Different tools have been used to achieve the goal, such as library search and specialized software, and collecting questionnaires and analytical information are some of the things that have been used in this research. This research is based on the information collected with two main methods, quantitative and qualitative, from the basis of the plan of collecting readings of native architecture using new techniques and attitudes of architecture such as the theory of space syntax. Identification of socio-cultural indicators, such as workforce, culture and jobs of the future, the future of cyber security and related careers, care economy, opportunities and jobs, the future of digital currencies and related businesses, future cities, a platform for the emergence of future jobs, the role and place of higher education in the future of jobs and future jobs, etc. was done
Analyzing the Reaction of Metal and Concrete Structures near Earthquake Centers
Movements recorded near active faults have different characteristics compared to normal movements recorded far from the fault due to the effects of progressive directionality and permanent displacement. Among the most important distinguishing features of these movements are the presence of long period pulses in the time history of acceleration, velocity, and displacement, a large ratio of maximum speed to maximum acceleration in the time history, the high-frequency content of the map, and short duration in the component perpendicular to the fault map. Pointed out each of these features has different effects on different structures. Also, in such earthquakes, the accumulation of energy in a short period and a pulse can cause shock-like movement. A case study of three steel structures and their responses to earthquakes produced by the Green's function method. Three steel structures are selected and modeled for analysis. Then, these structures are analyzed under the earthquake produced near the fault and their response is analyzed and investigated
Space Configuration and Identity of Urban Neighborhoods
The pattern of spatial configuration is one of the important and influencing factors on the density of uses in cities. Studying the spatial configuration of cities is potentially a suitable predictor for the level of user density and, as a result, increasing social interactions in urban spaces. In recent years, giving identity to the centers of old urban neighborhoods, especially in Iranian cities, has gained double importance for urban planners and designers. The method used in this research is the descriptive-analytical method and the context, while the literature and theories available in library references are used as the theoretical support of the research. After examining and reviewing the factors affecting the identity of urban areas, this article has compared these factors by referring to the relevant literature in the field of space layout theory. In this article, a model of the integration of both groups of components is presented, which is the basis of the analysis and planning of the neighborhood studied in this research
