PEMBINAAN AKHLAK PADA MADRASAH ALIYAH PONDOK PESANTREN ALKHAERAAT PUSAT PALU
This paper deals with the concept of Islamic education which has been implemented in moral education at the Islamic high school of Alkhaeraat Palu. It analyzes its concept, methods, as well as obstacles which have been confronted in this process of teaching Islamic morality. This study employs qualitative approach using case study as a method of inquiry. The result of study shows that moral education, which has been performed in this school, is based on moderate Islam, since a great deal of practical methods are employed in this process.Kata Kunci:Â Â Â pembinaan akhlak, pendidikan Islam, keteladanan, pembiasaan, Madrasah Aliyah Akhaeraa

The science of ma’ânî is a set of rules and of principles employed to know how to make an Arabic sentence structure agreeing with language situation and condition. One of the objects of the science of ma’ânî is khabar. Khabar is a sentence that  may be either true or false, depending on the reality. If the reality agrees with khabar, then  it is called true khabar, but if not, it is called false khabar. There are two purposes of delivering khabar, namely fâ’idat al-khabar and lâzim al-fâ’idah. Sometimes the purposes of khabar deviate from that two original purposes to become istirhâm, izhâr al-da’f, izhâr al-tahassur, etc.Kata Kunci: al-balâghah al-‘arabiyyah, ‘ilm al-ma’ânî, al-khaba
PROBLEMATIKA PENEGAKAN HUKUM DAN ETIKA PROFESI DI INDONESIA: ANALISIS DENGAN PENDEKATAN NILAI-NILAI AJARAN ISLAM
This paper deals with the enforcement of the law and the ethical codes of legal profession, with an analysis from the Islamic approach. It explores legal issues that relate to legal officials, as well as the background and reasons behind the significance of such enforcement that is based on Islamic piety (taqwâ). This paper concludes that the enforcement of the ethical code of legal profession, which is based on Islamic piety, is a solution for the law enforcement and the establishment of the supremacy of law in society as well.Kata Kunci: penegakan hukum, norma hukum, etika profesi, ajaran Isla
THE ASPECTS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MODERNIZATION
Perkembangan zaman telah menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan dalam hal tuntutan masyarakat muslim terhadap pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, para pemikir dan praktisi pendidikan perlu melakukan pembauran dalam  mengelola pendidikan Islam yang sesuai dengan tuntutan tersebut. Perlunya dilakukan pembaruan dalam pendidikan Islam tentu saja sangat penting karena masyarakat muslim semakin selektif dalam memilih lembaga pendidikan bagi anak-anak mereka, mulai dari tingkat taman kanak-kanak sampai ke tingkat perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dalam menghadapi perubahan tuntutan tersebut, para praktisi pendidikan Islam harus melakukan revevaluasi keberadaan pendidikan Islam demi masa depan umat Islam yang lebih baik.Kata Kunci: Islamic education, modernization, Islamic school for excellence, curriculum developmen
PENGUATAN KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH DAERAH DAN IMPLEMENTASI OTONOMI PENDIDIKAN
In line with regional authonomy, an authonomy in education through the concept of decentralisation has become a national agenda. In effect, this requires serious attention from the local government. In this era, local government, which has a strong political will to implement an authonomy in education, will be able to improve the quality of education independently. This, in turn, will support local development which is relevant with local needs and potentials. Otherwise, the local government, that is not concerned with this issue, will be reluctant in improving the quality of education. FAZLUR RAHMAN DAN METODE IJTIHADNYA: Telaah Sekitar Pembaruan Hukum Islam
In his monumental work, Islamic Methodology in History, Fazlur Rahman proposed two causes of failure of using ijtihâd as a method in interpreting Islamic law among classical Islamic law scholars. Firstly, there is an unharmonious relationship between “sunnah-ijma’-ijtihâd; secondly, there is a burden of majority doctrine theology towards the law. Both causalities are related each other. Fazlur Rahman tried to show the unharmonious between “sunnah-ijma’-ijtihâd†as stated in usûl fiqh. In those unharmonious relationship, ijtihâd is defeated by ijma’. In fact, ijtihâd is regarded as a means to direct and to form ijma’. REKONSTRUKSI KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI PERGURUAN TINGGI UMUM PASCAPEMERINTAHAN ORDE BARU
This research studies Islamic education curriculum reconstruction in High Public Education Institution after the fall of the New Orde. The main focus of this research is to investigate the form of the reconstruction and its relevance to the stakeholders’ needs. The issue was studied by using qualitative analysis through library research. The result shows that the paradigm of Islamic education curriculum in 2002 was different from that in the New Orde era (prior to 2000. This affects the changing of teaching material radically where the change becomes more relevant to the stakeholders’ needs than the previous curriculum.Kata Kunci:   rekonstruksi kurikulum, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Orde Baru, Orde Reformas
KONSEP LIFELONG EDUCATION DALAM PANDANGAN ISLAM
This research is library one. The approach used is theolo-normative analysis and socio-pedagogical one. The results indicate that the concept of  lifelong education  in Islam is a continual process beginning from womb to grave. The process covers the forms of formal, non formal and informal education, that take place at schools, family, and community. Islam even views that education to-be-born baby should be initiated prior to the marriage of parents. SURAU DAN TRADISI PERNASKAHANISLAM DI MINANGKABAU: STUDI ATAS DINAMIKA TRADISI PERNASKAHAN DI SURAU-SURAU DI PADANG DAN PADANG PARIAMAN*
Surau is a traditional institution of education in Minangkabau which has important role in developing Islam. In Islamic local discourse, surau became a center of order (tarîkah), the center for excellenceand for defending to criticize the another untrue ideology of Islam. In this context, syaikh from each surau write the manuscript to critisize the untruth ideology of Islam or social condition. There are four surau located in Padang and Padang Pariaman where many manuscripts can be found. The manuscripts are culturally important since they are related to the daily religious needs of the disciples of the order of Syattariyah in both places. This is related to the beliefs that to know about the guru, to posses the book, or to listen to the stories about the ulema, the guru of the order of Syattariyah are essential. Besides, the manuscripts are written to criticize opinions of the other Islamic schools whichare not appropriate according to the writer’s Islamic perception.Kata Kunci: tradisi pernaskahan Islam, surau, tarekat Syattariyah, Minangkaba
ISLAM IDEOLOGI KAUM TERTINDAS: COUNTER HEGEMONY KAUM MARGINAL DAN MUSTAD’AFÎN
Islam is perceived as being not only a new religion by some writers of history, but also as a liberating force. The teaching of Islam—the main source of which is the Qur’an—contains a lot of teaching on liberation the oppressed from the oppressors. The Qur’an even firmly expresses that the Prophet Moses was sent to liberate the oppressed from despotic ruler (Pharaoh).
