KARAKTERISTIK TAFSIR AL-MARĀGHĪ DAN PENAFSIRANNYA TENTANG AKAL
This article discusses the methodology of al-MarÄghÄ« interpretation, especially in a study about the ratio. Tafsir al-MarÄghÄ« has unique characteristics. This interpretation in the reviewer's favorite by using the adab al-ijtimÄ’ī method of interpretation, brief writing style, as well as terms that are easy to understand. Al-MarÄghÄ« intentionally omit discussion of non-essential, such as nahw-á¹£arf aspects, so that the reader does not get stuck on the text but the context of interpretation. KONSEP PEMERINTAHAN DALAM ALQURAN: ANALISIS MAKNA KHALĪFAH DALAM PERSPEKTIF FIQH POLITIK
This article discusses the concept of governance in the Koran. Key terms that will be elaborated is the term Caliphate and derivation by using the approach of political fiqh. In the Koran, there are other terms that also connotes leadership, among others: imÄm, Å«lÄ« al-Amr, and al-Sulá¹Än. The use of these terms in accordance with their respective context. But the term is more often used by the caliphs of God for the meaning of power and authority. However, in essence, the Qur'an as the revelation of God's holy, does not contain or explain the system and political order of government or a particular form of state that must be used by Muslims, but it only contains the basic values of ethics and political morality to serve as a guide in the national and state .Kata Kunci : Alquran, khilafah,  fiqh politik, pemerintahan
PENDEKATAN MAQĀṢID SYARĪ’AH: KONSTRUKSI TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN ILMU EKONOMI DAN KEUANGAN ISLAM
This article examines the problems that occur in the development process of Islamic economic and finance, both in theory and practice, especially in the Islamic banking practice in various parts of the world. To cope with the problems, the maqÄá¹£id al-syarī’ah approach can be employed to understand the verses of the Qur’an and the sunnah, to reconsolidate the conflicting arguments, and to decide the legal standing to a case of which legal sanding is not mentioned in the Qur’an and the sunnah. The purpose is to make Islamic economic and finance relevant to the change of time and to reduce the turbulence taking place in the practice of Islamic economy and finance themselves.Kata Kunci : MaqÄá¹£id Syariah, Ekonomi Islam, Pengembangan
ETIKA KONSUMSI DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM
This paper deals with consumption behavior in society; how to consume as recommended by Islam; and how should  consumption behavior in the view of Islamic economics. Based on the results of the analysis, we concluded as follows: 1) Consumption behavior should pay attention to the aspects of the categories of needs asprimary needs, secondary needs and tertiary needs  in accordance with the spirit of al-maqÄá¹£d al-syarī’ah. In the view of Islam, consumption behavior should avoid isrÄf and tabżīr behavior in using their income to meet their life needs. In the aspect of comsuming any kind of food, the Muslims should  always comsume the  halal  and the toyyib food. Consumption behavior in Islamic economics aims at achieving both the aspect of material and the aspect of spriruality, these two aspects will be achieved by maximizing the value of the use of each item in consumption.Kata kunci:  Perilaku konsumsi, kebutuhan, keingingan, ekonomi Isla
KOMUNIKASI DAKWAH EFEKTIF DALAM PERSPEKTIF ALQURAN
In the Koran perspective, the effective da'wah communication (qaulan balīghan) is highly recommended. The ability or a preacher to communicate effectively can affect the relative truth of thought of the audience or mustami’ (listeners). The Koran insists that Islam is a perfect religion and must be socialized and internalized into the minds of its adherents in order to understand and to implement it consistently and cuntinually. ETIKA JUAL BELI DALAM ISLAM
Buying and selling is a means of mankind to meet the needs of each individual.On the one hand, the seller can be a buyer, and on the other hand, the buyer may be a seller,till he or she meets the latest buyer who acts as a consumer. Thus, buying and selling can be very susceptible to manipulation to something desired by one party in order to gain benefit even beyond rational matter. Therefore, buying and selling in Islam cannot be separated from ethics. The ethics must be held by all parties in order to maintain public interest for all people. ISLAM DAN HAK-HAK ASASI MANUSIA
This article tries to describe the concept of Human Rights in the West and the response of Islam to them. In its history, it was Magna Charta in England that initiated the formulation of Human Rights in the West in 1512. Then It was followed by The Bill of right in 1689; The American Declaration of Independence in 1776; and The French Declaration in 1789 that resulted in The rule of law. Human Rights entered a new phase after The United Nations had declared the International Human Rights in 1984, that is The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. From that time on, Human Rights has become a global issue, continually discussed and responded to by many including Muslim scholars. In the West, the concept of Human Right is based merely on human values (anthropocentric) so that the responsibility is restricted to human beings. Based on this, this concept is different from Islamic concept on Human Rights because the former is based on secular values while the later is based on human values and divine values. Normatively, the idea of Human Rights is relevant to Islamic idea. The reason is that, based on their fitrah as creatures, human beings extremely expect the maintenance of their main needs (Al-umur al-Daruriyyah). Therefore, Human Rights are suitable with the purpose of syari’ah (maqasid al-Syari), that is to maintain religion, reason, heredity dan property.   Kata Kunci: Islam, Hak Asasi Manusi
KRITIK EKONOMI KONVENSIONAL DAN SOLUSI EKONOMI ISLAM
Purpose of this study is to review some critics to conventional economics in some aspects, i.e., theory, culture, ethics, and system. At the same time this study aims at searching some solutions for healthy economics (Islamic Economics). The data used in this study are Law No. 3 of 2006 on religious courts, Law No. 2 of 1992 on insurance, data from National Zakat Board, and data from Bank Indonesia. The methodology used is qualitative method using descriptive analysis and literature review. This study concludes that there have been many criticisms of the conventional economic by conventional economist as well as by experts of Islamic economics. To that end, there should be Islamic solution in the economic field. Solution of Islamic economics can be done by Islamic market integration strategy into economic activities through zakat, waqaf, Islamic social security, Islamic justice system and Islamic financial institutions ( Islamic Banks, TakÄful, and Rahn). Kata Kunci : kritik, ekonomi konvensional, ekonomi Islam
PENGELOLAAN WAKAF ALKHAIRAAT PALU SULAWESI TENGAH
Alkhairaat is one of institutions of education that possesses waqf institution. Nevertheless, the waqf institution is still managed traditionally, the lack of attention to the aspect of the development of the waqf institution, to that of standardization of its managers, to that aspect of the benefits and to that of the development of waqf property. As a result, the waqf institution administered do not possess driving force towards the economic development, the attractiveness of public trust, determinant force of economic management system as well as the competitiveness of the institution, both internally and externally. Based on the facts, it is suggested that the Alkhairaat organization attempt to improve the managerial system of its waqf, paying attention to the essence of the waqf, and to establish the independence of its waqf institution in order to be able to implement good management.Kata kunci: Alkhairaat, pengelola wakaf (nÄẓir), manajemen
CORAK PENAFSIRAN M. QURAISH SHIHAB DALAM TAFSIR AL-MISBAH
This article examines the patterns of M. Quraish Shihab’s interpretation in his work Tafsir Al-Misbah. From the beginning it appears that Tafsir al-Misbah uses multidipliner approach in assessing and interpreting the Koran.  So that, it is can be concluded that M. Quraish Shihab is subjectivist position. It can be seen from his styles of interpretation often strengthened by historical data as the data interpretation or sometimes data cited from other holy scriptures such as  Gospel and  the Book of the Law. The later is cited to use as a comparison in order to strengthen his interpretation argument over the verses of Qur'an .
