ロの形成期の作品の語りのフォームの記述）
本論文は、現代英語圏を代表する小説家カズオ・イシグロ（Kazuo Ishiguro 1954-）の初期作品群
を対象としながら、その特徴的な語りのフォームと、その形成プロセスを記述しようとするものであ
る。従来的なイシグロ研究では、経験というものがまずは共有されうるものであると措定されている
としたら、本論文では、イシグロのライティングの特徴を、「疎外」をめぐる語りのフォームに求め
ることで、そもそも「語り」得ない経験をいかに語るのか、という根源的なパラドックスをめぐって
フォーム形成がなされているのではないかという、という決定的に重要な問いが呈示される。
第一章では、The Remains of the Day（1989年）を対象に、従来的には「信頼できない語り手」
という用語で抽象化されてきた問題系について、登場人物間で、共感と欺瞞の度合いがそれぞれ異な
り、かつ、そうした「欺瞞的共感」を理解しうる同類（the likes）としての「あなたたち」という聞
き手が措定されるフォームが探求され、形成されようとしていることが指摘される。 
An Artist of the Floating World（1986 年）を論じる第二章では、語り手のオノが、かつての教え
子で今は交流が途絶えてしまっている人物のような人びととのあいだに持つ断絶感、長い友人とのあ
いだに持つ共感、さらには、孫や近所の子どもとのあいだに持つある種の肯定的関係、また、そうし
たことを語るオノとその聞き手“you”との関係という、複数の語りの形の違いが精緻に探求され、疎
外をめぐる語りの形の複数性が強調される。 
A Pale View of Hills（1982年）を扱う第三章は、子どもの自死という激しい疎外の経験を語るひ
とつの形が、「間接的」に自らの過ちの可能性を語りうることを可能にする聞き手というフォームで
あることを指摘する。そのままでは語り得ない疎外の経験を、過去の自分かもしれない登場人物を聞
き手とすることで語ろうとする探求プロセスが示唆される。 
第四章では、短編小説“The Summer After the War”（1983年）が論じられる。同作品は語り手が
画家であった祖父について回想する短編小説であり、ここまでの三章分の議論と同様に、例えば、実
際には成人した語り手が語っているにもかかわらず、七歳の語り手が語っているかのように感じられ
る語りを形成しようとするなど、疎外を語りうる方法を複数探求することそのものも、疎外を克服す
るのではなく、疎外をコミュニケートしうるフォームになりうると同章は指摘する。 
以上本論文は、語り得ない疎外を語るという激しい矛盾が形成期イシグロの核心部に位置し、語り
うる方法を探すことそのものもまた、疎外経験の共有を指向しうることを説得的に論じており、斯界
のみならず社会科学を含む語りを鍵語とする研究に大きな波及効果が期待されるものとなっている。 
よって、本論文の提出者は、博士（文学）の学位を授与されるに十分な資格を有するものと認めら
れる。

論⽂の要旨 
本論⽂の主たる関⼼は、1976 年に発⾜した福⽥赳夫内閣期のソ連が北⽅領⼟で軍備を増
強してから、1987 年にソ連の国際的脅威が減退するまでのいわゆる「新冷戦期」の⽇本政
府のソ連に対する政策である。本論⽂では、⽇⽶を基軸にした「軍備増強」という従来の議
論とともに、「経済協調」の視点から考察を加えた。ソ連が⽇本本⼟への軍事的脅威ととも
に世界的なプレゼンスを拡⼤させる中、⽇本政府は対応を迫られた。 
こうした問題設定をもとに、本論⽂は、ソ連の脅威への対処を中⼼として⽇本の対ソ外交
について詳細に論じた。冷戦が終焉に向かう道程で、⽇本政府がどのような脅威認識を有
し、かつ、どのような内政・外交両⾯での問題に直⾯したかを考察している。 
まず、本論⽂が⽤いている三つの分析視座について整理・紹介したい。 
第⼀の分析視座は、ソ連からの脅威をめぐる⽇本政府の様々な構想や思考が、いかに政策
として反映されたかという視点である。ソ連からの脅威は主に⼆種類に分類できる。⼀つ⽬
は、⽇本本⼟への「直接的脅威」である。⼆つ⽬は、ソ連のグローバルな戦略に伴う「間接
的脅威」である。こうした複合的なソ連の脅威に対し、外務省・防衛庁・政策担当者の間で
は必ずしも統⼀的な⾒解が持たれていたとは限らなかった。交渉担当者であった外務省だ
けに注⽬して全体像を再構成するのでは、⽇本外交の全体像を歪ませてしまう。そこで、本
論⽂では、政策担当者の構想を分析するとともに、その政策形成への影響について検討して
いる。 
第⼆の分析視座は、⽇本政府が、いかにソ連からの脅威を具体化したうえで、⾃国の軍備
および⽇⽶間の軍事協調をいかに調整したかという視点である。従来の研究は、⽇⽶同盟の
制度化の過程が論じられるのが⼀般的であった。逆に、本論⽂では、ソ連の脅威がいかに具
体化されたことによる、⽇⽶関係の軍備増強の過程に着⽬している。とりわけ、従来スポッ
トライトが当たってこなかった政策担当者や⽔⾯下での調整者の役割を明らかにする。 
第三の分析視座は、⽇ソ間の経済協⼒および⽇本の対外援助という「経済協調」の視点で
ある。ソ連の脅威への対処は⽇⽶間の軍備増強という観点から理解されることが多い。だ
が、「経済協調」を分析する際に重要となるのは、「資源⼩国」である⽇本の資源獲得および
多元化と「間接的脅威」への対応をいかに両⽴するかという現実的な問題である。それゆえ、
⽇ソ関係の維持および紛争周辺国への経済援助を抜きにして、ソ連の脅威への対処は不可
能であった。

こうした基本的認識を背景に、本論⽂は戦後⽇本の対ソ外交の全体像を浮かび上がらせ、
新冷戦期におけるソ連からの脅威への対処を分析する。⽶国の圧⼒を受けると同時にソ連
への経済制裁もしなければならないといった難しい状況で、様々な政策が展開されたとい
う事実を解明した。 
 
第１章では、幕末期から第⼆次世界⼤戦後初期の⽇ソ関係の形成過程を分析している。戦
争経験による相互不信感と引揚者・抑留者問題が複合的な対ソ認識を形成し、1956 年の⽇
ソ共同宣⾔後も不安定要素として残存した。特に北⽅領⼟問題は両国間の具体的な緊張要
因となった。1960年代には⽇本は核開発による対外抑⽌⼒を検討したものの、最終的に NPT
条約への批准を選択し、⾃国の安全保障を維持するため⽶国への依存以外の選択肢が徐々
に狭隘化していく。その後、1970 年代以後、北⽅領⼟問題を抱えながらも、国際的デタン
トの⾵潮を受けて、⽇ソ間のシベリア開発を軸とした経済協⼒が進展し、「不信」と「協調」
という複合的なソ連の脅威が浮上した経緯を明らかにする。 
第２章では、新冷戦期の幕開けとなる福⽥赳夫内閣期の対ソ政策を詳しく考察する。⽇中
接近に対するソ連の反応として、北⽅領⼟への軍事展開による直接的脅威が増加した⼀⽅、
中ソ対⽴の狭間でベトナムが新たな要素として浮上し、福⽥内閣による「全⽅位平和外交」
に影響を与えた。特筆すべきは、⽇ソ協調における「政経分離」の原則が明確化され、領⼟
問題を棚上げしつつ経済協⼒を進める⽅針が確⽴されたことである。この原則は、1977 年
の⽇ソ漁業暫定協定などの成果につながった。 
第３章では、新冷戦期で直⾯した⼤平正芳内閣の中越戦争・アフガニスタン侵攻をめぐる
対応に焦点を当て、⽇本政府による政策展開を詳細に考察する。これにより、⼤平内閣の深
刻な対ソ脅威認識を映し出すことだけでなく、ソ連からの間接・直接的な脅威について明確
な道程を検討した。そこから、⼤平内閣の対ソ政策の⼆⾯性を分析した。これは、⼀⽅で⽇
⽶間の軍備を増強させるとともに対パキスタン・タイ経済援助を通じてソ連の脅威に対抗
しようとし、他⽅で⽇ソ経済関係を維持し、アフガニスタン侵攻による制裁が実施されてい
る最中でも、その関係維持に細⼼の注意を払っていたことを明らかにする。 
第４章は、⼤平路線を継承しようとする鈴⽊善幸内閣の対ソ政策を考察している。鈴⽊
は、複合的なソ連の脅威を⼗分に認識できずに、⼤平より楽観的な対ソ認識に基づく政策を
展開した結果、国内の反ソ⾵潮に応じて「北⽅領⼟の⽇」を設置し、⽇ソ関係の後退を招い
た。しかしながら、彼は決して⽇ソ関係を悪化させようとは考えていなかった。特に、1982
年のサハリン開発プロジェクトをめぐって、⼤平の対ソ路線を継承しつつ、⽶ソ両国間で斡
旋して独⾃の外交⼿腕を発揮し、できるだけ⽇ソ関係を維持する姿勢が⾒られた。 
第５章は、ソ連の指導部の頻繁な更迭が⾏われる中、中曽根康弘内閣期の対ソ政策を分析
している。SS20 ミサイル問題と⼤韓航空機撃墜事件という⼆つの重要事件に直⾯し、対⽶
協調と対ソ⾃主外交のバランスを模索し、⼤平路線からやや逸脱した。特に⼤韓航空機事件
では、経済制裁を通じた圧⼒と国際社会での外交的働きかけを組み合わせた対応を⾏い、ソ

連に事実を認めさせることだけではなく、ソ連脅威を国際社会に発信したという点に特徴
が⾒られる。しかし他⽅では、⼤平路線を継承する側⾯も表し、パキスタンを含めたアジア
諸国への経済援助を通じてソ連の影響⼒抑制を図りつつあった。 
第６章では、第２次中曽根改造内閣から冷戦終焉までの⽇本の対ソ政策を考察し、⼤平内
閣期に確⽴された両⾯政策が終焉を迎える過程を明らかにした。中曽根は、国内の権⼒基盤
の脆弱性ゆえに、対ソ外交における「弔問外交」と「漁業外交」を通じて、⽇ソ⾸脳会談を
実現した。しかし、この時期の⽇ソ関係は、シベリア開発の停滞や東芝機械ココム違反事件
の発⽣により深刻な打撃を受けた。これらの事象は、⽇本の対ソ経済協調が実質的に⽇⽶関
係の枠内でしか展開できないという構造的限界を露呈させた。他⽅では、中曽根内閣は、防
衛費対 GNP⽐１％枠を突破すると同時に⾃衛隊の防衛⼒を増強させ、ベトナムとの関係改
善など独⾃の外交展開も試みた結果、ソ連の脅威から脱却というゴールをようやく⾒いだ
すことができた。ところが、1987 年以降、ソ連のグローバル戦略の後退と⾃⺠党内の頻繁
な政権交代により、後任内閣は、⼤平以来の両⾯政策を継承せず、⽇本の対ソ両⾯外交は新
冷戦期に終わりを迎えた。 
結論では、第⼀に、この間のソ連からの脅威に対し、各内閣が新冷戦の初期に対応した⼤
平正芳内閣の対ソ路線を継承しつつ発展させたことが解明された。「直接的脅威」と「間接
的脅威」を⼗分に認識していた⼤平は、これまでの政策担当者たちとは異なる⽅式に基づい
てソ連の脅威に対応した。鈴⽊内閣や中曽根内閣は、「北⽅領⼟の⽇」の設置や⼤韓航空機
撃墜事件をめぐって⼤平路線からやや逸脱した側⾯が⾒られる。しかし、全体としては「軍
備増強」を進める⼀⽅、紛争周辺国への経済援助を持続させながら、⽇ソ経済関係に細⼼の
注意を払い、⽶ソ両国間のバランスを図るという⼤平路線を継承したのである。 
第⼆に、従来の「軍備増強」の検討に加え、「経済協調」の観点から新冷戦における国際
情勢を再考した。経済制裁をしながら、速やかにサハリン開発プロジェクトの解除を図ると
いう、⼀⾒⽭盾するかに⾒える⽇本政府の姿勢は、「経済協調」の視点から理解することが
可能となった。しかしながら、これらの⽶ソの狭間で展開した⽇ソ経済協調は、ソ連からの
報復措置への懸念を抱えつつ、同時に、⽶国への技術依存や政策変化に強く規定されてい
た。 
 
以上の論述によって、本論⽂は、福⽥内閣から中曽根内閣に⾄るまでの歴代内閣が、ソ連
の脅威への対処に体系性・⼀貫性を持って政策を遂⾏したことを明らかにすることができ
た。

１．評価   
 
 本論文は、新冷戦期における日本の対ソ外交という先行研究が手薄な領域において、
歴代内閣の多角的な政策の展開を、豊富な歴史資料を通じて考察した研究である。これ
までは日米同盟の強化という文脈から論じられがちだった 1970 年代末から 1980 年代
半ばまでの日本外交について、日米二国間の軍事的な強化策だけではなく、日ソ二国間
において経済協調策をしたたかに模索していた当時の動態が、本研究によって初めて体
系的に明らかになった。確かに、当該期間における日米関係・日中関係の好転は、ソ連
の脅威に対抗して進んでいたにもかかわらず、肝心の日ソ二国間の外交関係について、
内在的に分析した研究は少なく、この点において本論文は学術的価値を有している。 
 これらの論述は、日米中の豊富な歴史資料の調査に裏づけられている。政策決定を担
った政治家や官僚の資料のみならず、情報公開請求によって新たに公開された外交文書
や、当時の新聞報道などを幅広く用いて、当時の外交政策決定過程を実証的に追跡して
いる。とくに興味深いのは、中国語で刊行されたソ連に関する歴史資料を分析に取り入
れている点であり、日米側の資料からは必ずしも鮮明に見えてこないソ連の動向に新た
な角度から迫っている。 
 また、ベトナム戦争後のアメリカが国際的な役割を再編する中、ソ連が対外膨張政策
を進めていく状況下で、経済大国としての存在感を強めていた日本が、ソ連の周辺国へ
の対外援助に積極的な姿勢を示していたことも、興味深い発見である。アフガニスタン
侵攻を受けて、隣国のパキスタンへの援助を中曽根内閣が進めていたこと、またベトナ
ムに対するソ連の影響力を牽制しようとベトナムやタイへの経済援助を推進したこと、
などが外交文書を含む多様な資料に基づいて論述されている。 
 このように本論文は、重要な知見を新たに示しているものの、同時に多くの課題も残
している。 
第一に、本論文が「対ソ両面政策」と提唱する方針は、はたして日本政府の戦略的な
政策パッケージであったのか、残念ながら疑問を拭えない。日米同盟に基づく軍備増強
と、時にアメリカ政府の方針と反する日ソ間での経済協調の模索は、矛盾をはらんでい
る政策であり、その両立を戦略的に日本政府が選択していた資料的根拠は乏しいままに
なっている。またソ連との経済協調を優先することが、ソ連の軍備増強をさらに拡大さ
せ、日本への脅威を増大させる、という論理は当時も想定されていたはずであり、新冷
戦下でどこまで日本が独自に日ソ間の経済協調を推進できたのか、より慎重な検討が望
まれる。 
 第二に、歴史資料の分析において、他の資料との相互関係を検討する視座が弱い点が
散見される。政治家の側近が残した回想録の叙述をそのまま参照していたり、政治家の
日記やメモに書かれた断片的な記述から大きな構想を導き出しすぎていたりする箇所
が目立っている。日本政府の政策決定において最も基礎となる外務省の担当部局の文書
が利用されておらず、当時の新聞報道から推察している部分も少なくない。1970 年代
半ばから 1980 年代後半までは、それ以前の時代と比べて、まだ一次資料が少ない状況
であるものの、より包括的な調査と丁寧な史料批判が求められよう。 
 第三に、ソ連と西側諸国の間で生じていたイデオロギー対立に関する視角が欠如して
いる。確かに新冷戦の時期には、冷戦初期のような共産主義陣営へのイデオロギー的思
慕は日本国内で弱まっており、国内への共産主義勢力の浸透についての危機感は薄れつ
つあったのかもしれない。しかしながら、1970 年代は保守政党への支持が減退傾向に
あり、革新陣営への期待感は決して弱まってはいなかった。こうした国内対立を拡大し
得るソ連のイデオロギー的影響力への警戒心は、多くの保守指導者には依然として共有
されていた。 
 しかしながら、上記の欠点は、多分にこれから取り組まれるべき研究課題を指し示し
ており、本論文が、新冷戦期の日本の対ソ外交についての重要な知見を提供することに
は変わりない。 
以上により、本論文を、博士（法学）の学位を授与するに値するものと認める。

The rapid expansion of agricultural activities has led to massive generation of rice straw 
(RS), with Asia producing approximately 779.35-1169.03 million tons annually. Traditional 
disposal methods like open burning not only waste valuable resources but also contribute 
significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution. Anaerobic digestion 
(AD) has emerged as a promising technology for sustainable waste treatment and renewable 
energy generation. However, the complex lignocellulosic structure of RS and its high C/N ratio 
pose significant challenges for efficient AD processing. This research aims to develop and 
optimize a high-solid AD system for RS treatment through co-digestion with food waste (FW). 
The study systematically investigates the effects of different RS ratios under both mesophilic 
and thermophilic conditions, focusing on understanding the enhancement mechanisms of FW 
addition and evaluating system performance through comprehensive analysis of process 
kinetics, microbial community dynamics, and energy efficiency. 
In chapter 2, the comprehensive literature review revealed significant developments in RS 
anaerobic digestion technology over the past two decades. Various pretreatment methods have 
been developed to enhance RS biodegradability, including physical (mechanical grinding, steam 
explosion), chemical (acid, alkali treatments), and biological approaches. The review highlighted 
that co-digestion with nitrogen-rich substrates has emerged as a promising strategy to overcome 
the inherent limitations of RS mono-digestion. Operational parameters such as temperature, 
hydraulic retention time, and nutrient balance were identified as critical factors affecting 
system performance. Additionally, the review emphasized the importance of process 
configuration selection, particularly for high-solid AD systems, where maintaining appropriate 
mixing and mass transfer becomes challenging.  
In chapter 3, this study investigated the performance and phase-specific characteristics of 
mesophilic co-digestion of FW with RS at different RS proportions (40%, 60%, and 80%), as well 
as mono-digestion of RS. The system achieved optimal performance at 40% RS content, with a 
methane yield of 383.8 mL/g-VS and cellulose removal efficiency exceeding 75%. When RS 
content increased beyond 60%, process performance declined notably. At 80% RS ratio, an 
imbalance between acidogenesis and methanogenesis led to volatile fatty acids (VFAs) 
accumulation (1500 mg-COD/L), compromising both efficiency and stability. Notably, during the 
transition to mono-digestion, the system maintained stable operation, characterized by 
increased abundance of functional enzymes associated with cellulosic substance hydrolysis and 
acidogenesis. This enhanced enzymatic activity may be attributed to the microbial adaptation 
induced by previous co-digestion with FW. These findings provide valuable insights for 
optimizing mesophilic RS digestion through strategic co-digestion approaches.

In chapter 4, to elucidate the effect of FW on the AD of high-cellulosic biomass waste, a 
thermophilic continuous stirred-tank reactor (CSTR) was used in a high-solid (15%-TS) system, 
to investigate the co-digestion of FW with varying ratios RS. Through the analysis of biogas 
yield and the removal efficiencies of key organic compounds, results demonstrated that with the 
straw ratio maintained below 80%, the system achieved optimal biogas production rate (1.34-
1.65 L/L/d) and high efficiency (exceeding 80%) in cellulose and hemicellulose degradation. 
Additionally, the study further evaluated the impact of FW on the four stages involved in the 
co-digestion process. A decrease in FW proportion reduced the easily degradable organic matter, 
specifically, where the reduction in protein content intensified the C/N imbalance and decreased 
alkalinity, limiting the system's buffering capacity. Therefore, these factors put the system in 
an environment that is not conducive to microbial activity, which in turn leads to a significant 
reduction in overall treatment efficiency and methane conversation. Microbial community 
structure and interrelationships analysis showed that FW had the potential to enhance 
microbial cooperation, especially in favor of cellulosic substrate degradation by fungi and 
bacteria associated with hydrolysis. These findings highlight the role of FW in regulating 
nutrients and optimizing microbial structure, offering insights for promoting high-cellulosic 
biomass waste treatment application.

In chapter 5, this study conducted a comprehensive comparison between mesophilic and 
thermophilic AD systems treating RS with varying ratios of FW through a 500-day continuous 
operation. The thermophilic system demonstrated superior performance in treating high RS 
content substrates, maintaining higher methane yields (154.1 vs. 94.5 mL/g-TS) and organic 
matter removal efficiencies (46.1% vs. 32.9% COD removal) during mono-digestion of RS 
compared to mesophilic conditions. Temperature significantly influenced degradation kinetics, 
with thermophilic conditions showing 4-5 times higher cellulose conversion rates (12 vs. 2.8 mL-
CH4/g-VS·d) and enhanced VFA metabolism. The system stability analysis revealed that 
thermophilic operation maintained higher buffering capacity, with mineral alkalinity 
contributing up to 86.0% of total alkalinity (3321 mg-CaCO3/L) during mono-digestion. Energy 
balance assessment showed that while thermophilic operation required 2.1 times higher heating 
energy, it achieved better performance in high-RS conditions with Energy Return on Investment 
(EROI) values comparable to mesophilic operation at 100% RS. Kinetic analysis demonstrated 
that hydrolysis remained the rate-limiting step under both temperatures, but thermophilic 
conditions significantly enhanced the conversion rates of complex organic matter, particularly 
for cellulose and hemicellulose degradation. 
This comprehensive study provides valuable insights into the optimization of RS anaerobic 
digestion through co-digestion strategies and temperature regulation. The findings demonstrate 
that while both mesophilic and thermophilic systems can achieve stable operation, temperature 
selection should be based on specific operational priorities: mesophilic conditions offer better 
energy efficiency at lower RS ratios, while thermophilic conditions provide superior performance 
for high RS content treatment. The research highlights the crucial role of FW in enhancing 
system performance through improved nutrient balance and microbial community optimization. 
These results establish a fundamental basis for the industrial application of RS anaerobic 
digestion, particularly in regions with abundant agricultural waste resources, while also 
identifying key areas for future research including heat recovery optimization, mixing strategies 
enhancement, and advanced process control development.

国連食糧農業機関の統計によると、アジア地域の稲わらの年間発生量は7億7、935万～11億 6、903万トン
で、世界総発生量の約90%を占めている。この稲わらは代表的な農業系バイオマスとしてその利活用が求めら
れている。嫌気性消化技術は、再生可能エネルギーを生産できる利点があるから、稲わらの処理に適した持続
可能な技術として注目されている。しかし、稲わらの複雑なリグノセルロース構造と高い C/N 比を有してお
り、その単独消化に関する工学的知見が不足している。本研究は、食品廃棄物との共消化および稲わら単独消
化について稲わら比率を変化させた中温消化と高温消化の連続実験を行い、分解動力学、バイオガス生成およ
び微生物群集動態について総合的に検討した。本論文は以下の通り6章から構成される。 
第 1章では、稲作農業の現状および温室効果ガス発生状況について説明し、本研究の目的および論文構成に
ついて概説した。 
第 2章では、稲わらの嫌気性消化技術に関する研究の進展をレビューした。前処理方法、重要な運転パラメ
ータおよびプロセス構成に関する最新の研究動向をまとめ、この分野における技術的課題と解決すべき科学的
問題を抽出した。 
第 3章では、中温条件下における稲わらと食品廃棄物の共消化および単独消化の性能特性を解析するため、
原料TS濃度を15%に固定して稲わら比率を40%、60%、80%、100%に変化させて長期連続実験を行った。稲
わら比率 40%の条件ではメタン収率が 380mL/g-VS、セルロース除去率 75%以上であったが、稲わら比率の増
加に伴いメタンガス収率と分解率はいずれも低下した。稲わら単独発酵の条件では安定した運転が維持できた
が、COD とセルロースの分解率はそれぞれ 30%と 60%に低下した。また、各条件におけるメタン発酵の化学
量論式と微生物群集構造を明らかにした。 
第4章では、高温条件による食品廃棄物と稲わらの混合嫌気性消化への促進効果について稲わら比率を40%、
60%、80%、100%と変化させた長期連続実験を通して検討した。化学量論分析に基づき異なる配合基質の元素
組成と理論的なガス生成特性を分析した。また連続実験の結果、稲わら比率が80%未満の条件では、セルロー
ス物質分解率が80%以上であった。また、微生物群集構造解析の結果により食品廃棄物が混合消化における真
菌、細菌、およびメタン生成古細菌間の相乗作用を著しく強化し、セルロース物質の分解を促進することが明
らかになった。 
第 5 章では、500 日間の中温および高温嫌気性の長期連続実験の結果に基づき、中温および高温嫌気性消化
システムの緩衝能力、分解経路、バイオガス生成およびエネルギー回収効率などについて総合的な比較検討を
行った。その結果、高温システムは稲わら比率の高い混合消化において明確な優位性を示した。また、エネル
ギー収支評価により、高稲わら比率条件下では高い分解効率とメタン収率により、中温運転と同等以上のエネ
ルギー回収効率（EROI）を達成できることが示された。 
第 6章では、本論文の主要な研究成果をまとめ、稲わらの前処理保存段階および残渣の後処理問題を含めた
嫌気性消化技術の応用について展望した。 
本研究では、共消化戦略および温度制御による稲わらの嫌気性消化プロセスの最適化に関する一連の基礎的
検討を行った。特に、食品廃棄物がシステム性能の向上に果たす重要な役割を強調し、稲わら単独消化の実用
可能性を実証した。これらの成果は、農業廃棄物の資源化利用を促進するうえで重要な科学的意義と応用価値
を持ち、環境科学の発展に寄与するものである。 
よって、本論文は博士（環境科学）の学位論文として合格と認める。
