RESULTS REGARDING ON THE DYNAMICS OF THE ATTACK OF THE PATHOGEN UNCINULA NECATOR IN THE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS OF THE YEAR 2021,IN THE SEGARCEAS WINE FARM-ARCHDIOCESE CRAIOVA, DOLJ COUNTY
The Archdiocese of Craiova cultivated 40 ha with vines within in the locality of Segarcea the main varieties being both varieties for Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Romanian Tămâioasă and Chardonnay.The phytopathogenic agent of the wine Uncinula necator,was monitored in terms of the evolution of the attack on the crop,in correlation with the climatic conditions and the way of reaction of the varieties to the attack of the phytopathogen was observed. The National Phytosanitary Authority,through the Dolj Phytosanitary Office,in the climatic conditions of year 2021, issued warning bulletins based on the basic criteria:biological,phenological and ecological of the vine
THE MANAGEMENT OF APPLIED FERTILIZERS AND NUTRITIONAL SPACE ON THE YIELD`S CAPACITY ON JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE
The literature is relatively poor in data on the fertilization of Jerusalem artichoke and especially the optimization of this technological stage which is not always correlated with the nutritional space of plants in order to obtain higher amount of fresh biomass or tubers. Although Jerusalem artichoke is promoted as a crop with low requirements for soil fertility, it reacts very well to both types of mineral fertilization and especially on applied organic fertilizer. In this paper we highlight the main levels of mineral fertilization corelated with plant`s density which show us that in the tested conditions of argic chernozem from ARDS Caracal we obtained the most valuable yields of fresh biomass at variant where we applied N120P120K80 in the conditions of 50 cm between plants/row. The highest level of fresh biomass was 55.1 t/ha and the underground tubers production was almost 28 t/ha
STUDIES AND RESEARCHES ON THE PREPARATION OF THE GERMINATION BED WITH HEAVY DISC HARROWS
Agriculture has been around since ancient times and continues to be today a vital area of human activity. It remains the only source of food, an important supplier of raw materials for industry and also a significant market for its production. Agricultural ecosystems as an integrated organic complex of natural, economic and social factors, require the rational, scientific intervention of the farmer, leading to raising its productivity, its protection and profitability, based on superior parameters of contemporary technology, making full use of market economy mechanisms.The area occupied in our country by the soils with crops that are established in autumn is about 37% of the total agricultural area. The mechanization technology which includes tillage by removing the stubble and/or preparing the germinated bed on unplowed land, on which the autumn crops are established, it can be applied at a qualitative level corresponding to the agropedological requirements, at a low cost price and with low energy consumption, by using disc harrows
STUDY REGARDING THE TOPO CADASTRAL SURVEY CARRIED OUT FOR THE REHABILITATION AND MODERNIZATION OF A ROAD IN THE PERIŞOR-GIUBEGA AGRITOURISTC AREA - DOLJ
The paper presents a quick and efficient method of topo-cadastral survey of a road in the Perişor-Giubea-Dolj agrotourism area, in order to rehabilitate and modernize. In order to be able to make the technical documentation required by the beneficiary, a topographic survey was carried out using a modern equipment, adequate to the precision required for such a very complex work. The topographic method used was fully adapted to the existing situation on the ground and to obtain a high yield and efficiencies. On the main axis of the road was made a supported travel on known coordinates and elevations and at the same time the details were raised by the method of polar coordinates. All the data measured in the field were downloaded to the computer, where they were easily and very precisely processed with specialized topography programs, obtaining the coordinates of all surveyed points, based on which the situation plan was drawn up at scale and accuracy required by the beneficiary. The technical documentation thus obtained was used in all stages of construction, design, tracing and execution
ORGANIC AGRICULTURE IN ROMANIA - AN IMPORTANT RESOURCE OF QUALITY RAW MATERIALS FOR INNOVATIVE FOODS
Organic foods, functional foods, Food supplements are designed and built from organic agricultural raw materials and natural food additives. In the last ten years, in Romania, there has been a significant increase in ecologically certified areas, an increase in organic cereal crops, areas cultivated with green harvested plants and permanent crops (orchards, vines, fruit bushes). These increases facilitate the obtaining of foods with high nutritional density and an increased processing efficiency. STUDY REGARDING THE COFFEE CONSUMPTION AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE
The aim of this study was to evaluate the coffee consumption habits and experiences of tertiary students from the University of Craiova, Biology specialization. 54,17% of participants stated that they consume coffee daily and 45,83% only consume occasionally. 69,23% stated that they consume 2 cups of coffee per day, 23,08% consume only one cup and 7,69% consume 3 or more cups per day. 45,83% of the students stated that the effects depend on the dose and adverse effects may occur if caffeine consumption is excessive. 25% considered coffee to be harmful and 12,5% considered it beneficial. 16,67% stated that they do not know how to answer. 29,17% of the students said that they have insomnia and 18,05% of them have frequently tachycardia after  coffee consumption
USE OF ESSENTIAL OILS AS GREEN BIOPESTICIDES
In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the application of herbal products, especially essential oils (EOs) in agriculture, as an alternative to the use of synthetic pesticides, for healthy crops and environmentally sustainable production systems. This was the main reason why the properties of EOs as natural pesticides for their promotion and use in organic farming were evaluated. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) defines biopesticide as a safer product, with a lower persistence in the environment, biodegradable, less toxic to non-target organisms, less likely to contaminate soil and groundwater. Many EOs obtained from medicinal plants have a wide range of activities against harmful insects, bacteria and phytopathogenic fungi, weeds. Their action varies from insecticidal activities, repellents, antifeedants, growth regulation, etc. This review presents the most effective biopesticides based on EOs obtained from medicinal plants and the future development prospects of this industry.Â
PLUM GRAFTING WITH INTERMEDIARY INSIDE PROTECTED SPACES
This research study was focused on observing the grafting behaviour of two plum varieties, "Andreea" and "Tuleu gras", grafted in the chip budding and whip and tongue grafting, on Cherry plum T163 and Adaptabil, by using the variants with and without intermediary. The experiment was conducted inside protected spaces (greenhouses). After the period of callusing stimulation at the grafting point the biological material was removed and prepared for planting in the first field of the fruit nursery. At the end of the vegetation period in the first field of the fruit nursery, the determinations indicated that the grafting success rate in the case of Andreea variety grafted without intermediary on Cherry plum T163 by using the whip and tongue method was identical with the one identified after the callusing stimulation at the grafting point (100%), with high biological material increase
EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTS OF ACCELERATED BODY GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT ON THE HEALTH AND FERTILITY OF HOLSTEIN FRIESIAN FEMALES IN THE PERIOD SUBSEQUENT TO FIRST CALVING
The variation of the body weight of the heifers at 390 days of life was 31.40 kg, and the variation of milk production per 100 days of lactation was 119.16 kg. These values indicate the variation between the heifers due to the genetic diversity that characterizes the herd of cows .The most important element of the analysis was the significant differences regarding the chance of heifers from the 4 weight categories at the age of 390 days. For example, heifers in category C - GC1 have a chance of calving 1.22 times higher than heifers in category C - G2. Heifers in category CGC 3 and CGC 4 had the chance to perform 0.82 and 0.70 times compared to heifers in category CGC2. The average time between the calving date and the date of first insemination was 86.5 days, and the interval between the calving date and the date of second insemination was 119.8 days
STUDIES REGARDING THE EVOLUTION OF COMPOUND FEED FACTORIES IN THE CONTEXT OF AUTOMATION OF THE WORK INSTALLATIONS
The technological flow that takes place in compound feed factories is a complex process, which involves performing activities such as: grinding the grains, mixing the ingredients from the recipe produced, granulating, homogenizing and cooling. These operations are carried out with the help of specialized installations, with a high degree of automation, in order to obtain high productivity at the lowest possible cost prices. Given the international requirements and competition in the market, the automated installations of the compound feed factories must ensure the full protection of the staff that serves them and also of the environment. Concidering the diversity of compound feed recipes depending on the species and the age category of the animals fed, this article follows an evolution of the production of compound feed factories in the last period of time
