PHYSIOLOGICAL PARTICULARITIES OF PORTULACA OLERACEA L. PLANTS
Portulaca oleracea L., considered by many a weed, is in fact a plant with multiple food and medicinal values, and with a specific adaptation to stress conditions. Grown in water supply option conditions, the plant has a C4 type metabolism, but in drought conditions, it uses the way of closing the stomata during the day, achieving a CAM type metabolism. The high values of the stomatal conductance recorded in the dark and the high contentof malic acid in the leaves especially in the morning, indicate this adaptation. Plants exposed to water stress also showed higher values of suction force and higher percentages of bound water

AUTOMATED DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM POWERED BY PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS USED FOR AGRICULTURAL CROPS
Climate change, water scarcity and higher energy requirements and electric tariff compromises the continuity of the irrigated agriculture. Precision agriculture (PA) or renewable energy sources which are based on communication and information technologies and a large amount of data are key to ensuring this economic activity and guaranteeing food security at the global level. Several works which are based on the use of PA and renewable energy sources have been developed in order to optimize different variables of irrigated agriculture such as irrigation scheduling. THE PRICE OF SUNFLOWER SEEDS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION (2016 - 2018)
Through its content, the paper aims to present the evolution of the price for sunflower seeds, for the component states of the European Union. The analysed time interval is 2016-2018, so that the short-term price evolution can be observed.The price must be analysed in the context of the conditions for the practice of this crop, for the 28 Member States of the European Union, in the light of the differences in the degree of development, capitalization and subsidization of agricultural production.The selling price registered a national multiannual average of 357.03 /t for Austria (2018) and 433.90 /t. RESEARCH ON ESTABLISHING ECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS WITH HIGH EFFICIENCY IN JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE CULTURE
In the period 2018-2020. within RDSFCSS Dabuleni, from Romania, 4 planting epochs were studied and 2 harvest epochs. Determinations were made on the number of tubers/plant, the average weight of a tuber and the production per unit area. Regardless of the planting epoch both the number of tubers/plant and the average weight of a tuber was higher in the plants harvested after 29 weeks after planting. The highest production of tubers was obtained by planting Jerusalem artichoke between April 15-25 and harvested after 29 weeks. In this variant. the production was 66.02 t / ha. corresponding to a number of 45.9 tubers / plant. with an average weight of 47.8 g / tuber

MONITORING THERMOTECHNICAL PARAMETERS OF THE PROCESSING INSTALLATIONS FROM A COMPOUND FEED FACTORY
To satisfy the growing and diversified demand for food from the population, all compound feed factories propose to obtain finished products of the best possible quality, in the shortest time and at the lowest possible cost. Given the complexity of the activities performed during the technological flow from a compound feed factory, this article proposes monitoring the thermotechnical parameters of installations by made experimental measurements using sensors installed at critical points. The measurements shown in this article were made during the production of two compound feed types, because each recipe involves different work parameters. The scope of this monitoring of thermotechnical parameters is to confirm the reliability of the devices that ensure the automated control of the equipment, so as to respect the European Union norms regarding the protection of staff and the environment
REMOTE SENSING APPLIED IN MINING SECTOR
We will discuss in this paper about how remote sensing methods are used in mining domains, doing reference at minerals, geology, soil, topography, land cover and vegetation, water and groundwater and mine contamination. There are a lot of methods used for exploration are airborne and ground based geophysical methods, such as magnetic, electromagnetic, gravity, radiometric and seismic investigations to map the subsurface geology; multispectral and hyperspectral airborne and satellite remote sensing can provide valuable information about the surface mineralogy and geology. Detailed knowledge of the surface topography or the change in surface topography is important in several aspects of the mining sector. Mapping and monitoring of vegetation around mine sites is important in all phases of mining, from mine planning to mine closure and rehabilitation. Vegetation maps are often required. Knowledge of surface and ground water pathways is also important in and around mining areas. Ground water can to some extent be mapped with optical remote sensing techniques. MILLET FLOUR ADDITION IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF THE GLUTEN-FREE BREADS BASED ON RICE FLOURS
The aim of the present study was to assess the possibility of obtaining high quality gluten-free bread using composite flours consisting of three different varieties of rice grain flours in admixture with millet flour. Fifteen composite flours were obtained and tested by mixing the flours of the long, round and medium rice grain with different amounts of millet flour (10-50%). Bread samples were obtained out of dough prepared through the one-stage method. The results of the specific volume of the bread samples indicated that the composite flours based on rice flours obtained by milling long and round grains allowed obtaining higher quality final products. The most promising results in terms of firmness of the bread crumb after 24 hours of storage were obtained in case of samples prepared with long or round grain rice flours supplemented with 20-30% millet flour
PLANTS FROM ILFOV COUNTY PRESENT IN "ALEXANDRU BELDIE" HERBARIUM
The present article describes the plants collected from Ilfov County area and presented in "Alexandru Beldie" Herbarium from "Marin Drăcea" National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry. The article presents the studied material, the number of vouchers with species harvested from this area as well as some characteristics of the plant collections. The most important species collected from Ilfov County are also mentioned, with an analysis of their characteristics: the collection`s creation period and the plant`s harvesting periods. The found genera were systematized, with an emphasis on the most representative ones. Furthermore, the specialists that had an important contribution for the representation of county area within the herbarium are also mentioned and honored
