A function is said to be -convex with respect to a function , if for all and .In this paper, we introduce and study a generalization of -convex functions using the fractal calculusdeveloped by Yang \cite{Yang}. Get PDFSe aborda la fotografía de familia de final del siglo XIX y principios del XX como un escenario complejo donde se redefinen y negocian identidades transnacionales en el marco de la migración italiana de dicha época. Nos centramos especialmente en el papel de la mujer a la hora de regular esos flujos simbólicos. Mediante una mirada etnográfica multisituada, nos adentramos en las estrategias y artimañas con la que las mujeres distribuían el capital simbólico, que se reflejaban en la fotografía. Hallamos que, a pesar del contexto de moralidad en la que estaban encalladas, lograban ejercer un poder simbólico muy sofisticado. Concluimos que ese poder se colaba en los sistemas de metaforización que regulaban las relaciones sociales y, que, a diferencia del ejercido por el hombre, no se definía en contraposición a ningún sistema; todo lo contrario, su influencia no necesita de legitimación: son actos a la vez privados y públicos, subjetivos e intersubjetivos; es decir, tienen un carácter multisituado.
We approach family photography at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century as a complex scenario where transnational identities are redefined and negotiated within the framework of the Italian migration of that era. We focus especially on the role of women in regulating these symbolic flows. Through a multi-sited ethnographic perspective, we delve into the strategies and tricks with which women distributed symbolic capital, which was reflected in photography. We find that, despite the context of morality in which they were stuck, they managed to exert a very sophisticated symbolic power. We conclude that this power slipped into the systems of metaphorization that regulated social relations and that, unlike that exercised by man, was not defined in opposition to any system; on the contrary, their influence does not need legitimization: they are both private and public, subjective and intersubjective acts; that is, they have a multiset character

“¡Me caso y me voy!”: migraciones transnacionales femeninas desde el Caribe hispánico hacia Italia
Get PDFThis article opens a space for analysis and reflection, from a gender perspective, on the relationship that the marriage-migration binomial has on the dynamics of reconstruction of identity and integration in the context of destiny. Through an autoethnographic technique, through my perspective of an afro-descendant woman from the Hispanic Caribbean who married an Italian and who migrated to Italy, I also relate my experience with the one of three other women in similar conditions to mine. The results show that we share some ideological beliefs in the concept of marriage and that it is not a reason to leave the countries where we were born. However, it emerges that we have all lived, from different perspectives, the power structure based on the transnational heteropatriarchy which, in a certain way, conditioned us in the decision to migrate. Finally, identity fluency has faced, on the one hand, our African roots, made invisible by each one of us according to different stages and circumstances; on the other hand, because it is the fruit of the colonial world that still keeps its mark with its paradigms of hegemonic-racial domination. The phenomenon of integration instead of destination is also linked to this logic, implying, in some cases, an approach to the Italian context from a position of subordination, mainly social, cultural and economic.El presente artículo abre un espacio de análisis y reflexión, desde un enfoque de género, sobre la relación que el binomio matrimonio-migración tiene sobre las dinámicas de (re)construcción identitaria y la integración en contexto de destino. Mediante una técnica autoetnográfica, a través de mi perspectiva de mujer afrodescendiente del Caribe hispánico que contrajo matrimonio con un italiano y que migró a Italia, dialogo con la experiencia de otras tres mujeres en condiciones similares a la mía. Los resultados muestran que algunas creencias ideológicas nos unen en el concepto de matrimonio y que el mismo no es un fin para dejar los respectivos países de orígenes. Sin embargo, emerge que todas hemos vivido, con facetas diferentes, la estructura de poder basada en el heteropatriarcado transnacional lo cual, de cierta manera, nos condicionó en la decisión de migrar. Finalmente, la fluidez identitaria se ha enfrentado, de un lado con nuestras raíces africanas, invisibilizadas por cada una de nosotras según etapas y circunstancias distintas; de otra parte, por ser el fruto del mundo colonial que aún mantiene su huella con sus paradigmas de dominio hegemónico-racial. También el fenómeno de la integración en lugar de destino se ve ligado a esta lógica, implicando, en algunos casos, un acercamiento al contexto italiano desde una posición de subordinación, principalmente social, cultural y económica

Syrian women refugees in Tunisia: Difficulties accessing economic and social rights
Get PDFEl propósito de este documento es arrojar luz, en primer lugar, sobre la situación de los refugiados sirios en Túnez y examinar las dificultades que les impiden acceder a sus derechos económicos y sociales y a la atención médica. Este artículo se centrará, en segundo lugar, en las aspiraciones de estos refugiados con respecto a su situación legal y su destino final de asentamiento. La tercera parte se centrará en el papel de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil para garantizar los derechos económicos y sociales de los refugiados y solicitantes de asilo en Túnez. Para responder a estas preguntas, se realizó una encuesta cualitativa exploratoria entre las mujeres refugiadas sirias, los trabajadores de la salud y los representantes de las organizaciones de la sociedad civil tunecina, que se especializan en el activismo por los derechos de los migrantes vulnerables.
The purpose of this paper is to shed light, in the first place, on the situation of Syrian refugee women in Tunisia and to examine the difficulties that prevent them from accessing to their economic and social rights and health care. Thus, this article will focus, secondly, on the aspirations of these refugees regarding their legal situation and their final destination of settlement. The third part will focus on the role of Civil Society Organizations in guaranteeing economic and social rights for refugees and asylum seekers in Tunisia. To answer these questions, a qualitative exploratory survey was conducted for this purpose among Syrian refugee women, health workers and representatives of Tunisian civil society organizations specializing in activism for the rights of vulnerable migrants.
