    INTEGRATING ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVES IN LISTENING COMPREHENSION ACTIVITIES FOR ENGLISH LEARNERS IN GONTOR EDUCATIONAL APPROACH

    Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) is one of the Pesantren educational institutions that integrates education, discipline, Islamic values, and science. This paper explores the integration of Islamic perspectives into listening comprehension activities for English learners within the Gontor educational methods. PMDG system, rooted in Islamic values and traditions, emphasizes a holistic approach to education that fosters spiritual, discipline, intellectual, and linguistic development. This themes of study examines how incorporating Islamic themes, values, and narratives into listening materials which can enhance language acquisition while instilling moral and ethical understanding among learners, by employing qualitative research methods, including content analysis of listening materials and classroom observations, the study identifies strategies for combine the Islamic elements into listening activities. It highlights examples such as utilizing Quranic stories, Islamic history, and contemporary topics relevant to Muslim contexts to promote engagement and cultural relevance. In this case, the paper discusses the pedagogical impact of this approach, focusing on how it aligns with the principles of integrative listening of listening of education advocated in the Gontor system.     إن الذكاء الاصطناعي نتيجة من نتائج التطور ÙÙŠ مجال التكنولوجي. وقد عمت Ù…Ù†Ø§ÙØ¹Ù‡ الناس على وجه العموم وكذلك الطلبة والمدرسين ÙÙŠ الجامعات على وجه الخصوص. هناك عديد من المنصات المبنية على الذكاء الاصطناعي  حيث اعتمد عليها كثير من الطلبة الجامعيين. وبإمكانهم أن يستخدموها من خلال الجوال وكذلك من الحاسوب. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن واتسآب قد أضا٠إلى منصته تطبيقا جديدا سمي بâ€Metaâ€.   والهد٠لهذا البحث أن يص٠الباحث خبرات طالب له ÙÙŠ استخدام منصة "ميتا" كآلة يتم بها الكتابة الأكاديميكية باللغة العربية. استخدم الباحث منهج البحث الكيÙÙŠ بنموذج Ø§Ù„Ø§Ø³ØªÙØ³Ø§Ø± السردي. وللحصول على البيانات استخدم الباحث التوثيق. ولتحليل البيانات استخدم طريقة تحليل المحتوى الموضوعي. أشار هذا البحث إلى نتيجتين. (1) أصبحت منصة "ميتا" وسيلة للكاتب ÙÙŠ ترجمة النصوص وطلب العبارات المعاصرة ÙˆÙÙ‚ الموضوع. ولكن، لابد ÙÙŠ استخدام هذه المنصة من الموق٠السديد مع تقديم التÙكير النقدي.     Halal Lifestyle Terhadap Keputusan Pemilihan Restoran Hotel Pada Generasi Milenial

    Currently, among Muslim people who use products in their daily lives, they attach great importance to or see products that are labeled halal. The millennial generation is known for critical thinking, one of which is related to halal lifestyle in daily life.  The selection of food and drink, clothing and cosmetics, and tourism are included. The millennial generation implements a halal lifestyle which makes it difficult for them to choose hotel restaurants that do not have a halal certificate. The decision to choose a hotel restaurant by the millennial generation is important, considering the large market potential that is able to meet the needs and preferences of Muslim consumers can increase competitiveness and customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the influence of halal lifestyle on the decision to choose a hotel restaurant in the millennial generation. The research method uses an associative quantitative approach and data collection in July 2024. This research was carried out by distributing questionnaires using google forms. The research sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling so that it produced a sample of 307 respondents with a birth range of 1981-1996. This study shows that halal lifestyle is in the high category and the decision to choose a hotel restaurant is in the high category. The results of the regression test in this study showed that there was an influence of halal lifestyle on the decision to choose a hotel restaurant with a p-value of 0.006<0.05. This study shows that the higher the halal lifestyle, the more respondents choose halal restaurants and vice versa, if the respondents' halal lifestyle is low, the worse the decision to choose a hotel restaurant.     Abstract (English) This research deals with words borrowed from Arabic language in the language of the Aneuk Jamee tribe in Aceh province. Research uses the analytical descriptive approach to analyse this phenomenon. The main goal of the search is to identify words absorbed from Arabic and understand their impact on Aneuk Jamee's language. The aliases are analyzed based on a series of Arabic letters. The aliases are found in 20 different letters of the alphabet. The results of the study show that there are several words in Aneuk Jamee language that are heavily influenced in Arabic and cover different areas of daily life such as religion, education and literature, showing the influence of Arabic language in various aspects of cultural and social life. The results of the research show that there are a number of words in Aneuk Jami's language that are highly influenced by Arabic. These results provide a clearer picture of the process of borrowing words between these two languages, as well as their implications for linguistic identity. from the Aneuk Jamee tribe in Aceh. Keywords: borrowed words, Arabic language, Aneuk Jamee language الملخص يتناول هذا البحث الكلمات المقترضة من اللغة العربية ÙÙŠ لغة قبيلة أنوك جامي ÙÙŠ مقاطعة أتشيه. ويستخدم البحث المنهج الوصÙÙŠ التحليلي لتحليل هذه الظاهرة. الهد٠الرئيسي من البحث هو التعر٠على الكلمات الممتصة من اللغة العربية ÙˆÙهم تأثيرها على لغة أنيوك جامي. يتم تحليل الكلمات المستعارة بناءً على سلسلة من الحرو٠العربية، وتوجد الكلمات المستعارة ÙÙŠ 20 حرÙًا مختلÙًا من الحرو٠أو الأصوات، وتظهر نتائج الدراسة أن هناك عدة كلمات ÙÙŠ لغة أنوك جامي متأثرة بشدة باللغة العربية وتغطي مجالات Ù…Ø®ØªÙ„ÙØ© الحياة اليومية كالدين والتعليم والأدب، مما يظهر تأثير اللغة العربية ÙÙŠ مختل٠جوانب الحياة الثقاÙية والاجتماعية.  وتظهر نتائج البحث أن هناك عددا من الكلمات ÙÙŠ لغة أنوك جامي متأثرة بشكل كبير باللغة العربية. وتقدم هذه النتائج صورة أوضح لعملية استعارة الكلمات بين هاتين اللغتين، ÙØ¶Ù„ا عن انعكاساتها على الهوية اللغوية. من قبيلة أنوك جامي ÙÙŠ أتشيه.This research deals with words borrowed from Arabic language in the language of the Aneuk Jamee tribe in Aceh province.     Islamizing Contemporary Man: The Approach of Islamic Teachings to Education

    The inconsistency of some educational systems in the contemporary world with the educational approaches in Islamic societies has not only led to their inefficacy but also imposed non-divine and even anti-religious values upon Islamic communities. Given the necessity of presenting educational theories aligned with Islamic societies, this article aims to demonstrate the approach Islamic teachings can take towards the foundations of education. These teachings are principally derived from the Quran and the sayings and lifestyles of the Prophet Muhammad and his Household (peace be upon them). Among them, Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), the sixth Imam of the Shia, played a prominent role in presenting such intellectual systems based on Quranic insights and the Prophet's conduct. From the collection of Imam Sadiq's practices and sayings, it is possible to extract some features as his intellectual views on education. In this paper, we focus on the educational foundations as derived from his sayings in four domains. We then highlight fourteen value attributes in his educational approach, which can serve as the foundation for structuring the principles of Islamic education and its practical solutions

    Arabic and Islamic teachings are deeply intertwined. A proper understanding of Islam necessitates proficiency in Arabic, the language of the Qur'an. Thus, these two aspects warrant further exploration, focusing on analyzing the impact of integrating Islamic values on students' attitudes and behaviors, as well as identifying the challenges of applying Islamic values in Arabic language learning. This study employs a library research method, gathering data on the concept of Islamic values in Arabic language education using various references, including books, journals, and other available literature. The findings of the research highlight the following: (1) The application of Islamic values in Arabic language education aids in shaping noble character aligned with Islamic teachings. (2) It reveals several challenges in integrating Islamic values into Arabic language learning, such as limited structured curricula for integrating Islamic values, insufficient teaching resources, teachers' limited understanding of value-based teaching, varying levels of student comprehension and backgrounds, and lack of support from schools and parents.  Keywords: Islamic Values, Arabic Language Learning, Integratio

    The development of innovation in the digital era is increasingly advanced and developing. Starting from changes in various political, economic, social and cultural domains, to education. All of these things have their own achievement goals. Then, this research explains how innovative modern learning methods can increase the enthusiasm for learning and achievement of students at SDIT Al-Auliya, Balikpapan city. The background to this article is the problem of students' enthusiasm for learning in improving their achievement at school. The application and development of modern learning methods should be implemented by educators in improving teacher competence. The aim of the research is to develop modern learning methods that provide new opportunities to produce interesting and innovative learning. The combination of technology, creativity and approach attracts students to increase the excellence of the methods applied at the school. This article uses the mixed methods of research method, so that in this article research can collect data by collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data theoretically. The results of the research are to increase the enthusiasm for learning and achievement of students at SDIT Al-Auliya by implementing modern learning methods effectively and innovatively

    KAMPUS PERSANTREN SEBAGAI PILAR MODERASI BERAGAMA DI ERA GLOBALISASI: STUDI DI UNIVERSITAS DARUSSALAM GONTOR

    This study aims to analyze the role of pesantren-based universities as pillars of religious moderation in the era of globalization, with a case study at Universitas Darussalam Gontor (UNIDA Gontor). As a pesantren- based educational institution, UNIDA Gontor holds a strategic position in shaping a young generation that embraces religious moderation amidst the dynamics of globalization. Religious moderation is an important approach in addressing the growing challenges of radicalism and religious exclusivism. This research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection methods including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The informants in this study consist of lecturers, students, and staff at UNIDA Gontor, selected purposively. The results show that UNIDA Gontor consistently implements the values of religious moderation through various educational programs and social activities on campus. The integration of religious moderation in the academic curriculum, strengthening extracurricular activities that promote religious openness, and the role of lecturers in shaping students' moderate mindset are the key aspects of implementing moderation at this pesantren-based university. Furthermore, the challenges in maintaining the values of religious moderation include the influence of radical ideologies from outside the campus through social media and the internet, as well as internal differences in views regarding the concept of moderation itself. However, this study also identifies significant opportunities for UNIDA Gontor to become a role model for other pesantren-based universities in Indonesia in promoting religious moderation. Through national and international networks, UNIDA Gontor has the potential to expand its influence in developing inclusive Islamic education and playing an active role in creating a tolerant and dialogical academic environment in the era of globalization

    This research is motivated by the large number of packaged foods circulating among the Muslim community. The purpose of this research is to examines the Influence of Halal Labels, Prices, and Product Quality on Islamic Consumption Behavior on Packaged Food in Takalar Regency. This type of research is quantitative obtained from the questionnaire. The sampling technique uses simple Random Sampling. The number of samples used is 100 respondents obtained using the slovin formula. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using SPSS 24. The results of the Halal Label study do not have a significant effect on Islamic consumption behavior on packaged food in Takalar Regency because the t-count value is 0.526 <t table of 1.984. Price has a positive and significant effect on Islamic consumption behavior on packaged food in Takalar Regency because the t-count value is 2.153> t table of 1.984. And Product Quality has a positive and significant influence on Islamic consumption behavior on packaged food in Takalar Regency because the t-count value is 5.932 > t-table of 1.984
