    Penilaian Estetika Jalan Kota untuk Mendukung Pariwisata Berkelanjutan Kota Sambas

    Commitment to tourism development encouraging the local government of Sambas to build and improve accessibility to and from tourist attractions. Without taken it into account properly, the aesthetics of the road can decrease and in the long term, it can downturn the tourism business. This research was conducted to support sustainable tourism in Sambas City, especially from an aesthetic perspective. The research was carried out using quantitative methods using Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) and Semantic Differentiation (SD). The research results showed that the SBE scores were mostly in the medium category (46%), while the SD results showed little difference with the SBE results. Comparison with sustainable road elements shows that the local government needs to improve the road area to make it sustainable

    Community Empowerment in Tourism Management at Kampung Flory,Tridadi Village, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta

    Community empowerment is needed in every management of the tourism industry. Kampung Flory has been developed for a long time and benefits the community. The tourist attractions that Kampung Flory owns are quite diverse and offer many choices to tourists. This study aims to examine community empowerment in the management of destinations in Kampung Flory followed by organizing a management model according to the tourism institutions in Kampung Flory. This study uses a quantitative approach. Methods of data collection are carried out by observation, questionnaires, and literature study with the number of respondents being 123 people. Data analysis methods using descriptive statistical analysis methods assisted by a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that  social empowerment and economic empowerment for the people of Kampung Flory are good. The average score of all these variables is 3.56 indicating that the community strongly agrees with empowerment because from the initial stage to the tourism development stage in Kampung Flory is carried out all by the community. The form of community empowerment in Kampung Flory is in the form of community involvement in the management of tourism objects such as recruitment as labor and opening a business in the tourist area of Kampung Flory

    Tourist villages are interesting destinations for many people because tourist villages have their own culture and character. Tourist villages can attract more tourists because they have natural tourism with a diversity of flora and fauna as well as education about tourist villages which have their own characteristics. The Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village in Batam is one of the tourist villages that is recognized by the world of tourism and was awarded 3rd place in the ADWI (Anugerah Desa Wisata Indonesia) event. The Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village has been developed for the last five years and continues to experience development. The researcher's aim is to analyze the influence of revisit intention in the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village by using perceived value and trust which act as independent variables with word of mouth as mediation. This research analyzes how each variable has an influence, related, and provides a positive impact on each other. This research took samples from people who had visited the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village. The sampling method used non-probability sampling and intentional sampling, and the total sample was 294 respondents. As a survey method, data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google forms. SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) is a data analysis method using the PLS (Partial Least Squares) technique using computer software, namely SmartPLS. The research results show that perceived value and trust have a positive effect on revisit intention with word of mouth as mediation. Therefore, the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village must be maintained and preserved so that revisit intention can be realized continuously

    Analysis of The Influence of Destination Image, Service Quality, and Experience on Destination Loyalty in The Tourism Village of Kampung Tua Bakau Serip (Pokdarwis Pandang Tak Jemu) in Batam

    Tourist villages are popular holiday spots because of the unique culture and character of the city that accommodates tourists. Attractions such as natural attractions that showcase the diversity of plants and animals, as well as educational opportunities about the unique traditions of tourist communities can bring in more visitors. One of the tourist villages that has received recognition from the tourism world is Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Batam which is included in the top 50 in the ADWI (Indonesian Tourism Village Award) event. Over the past six years, construction of the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village has continued. In the research conducted by the researcher, the aim was to determine the influence of destination image, service quality, and experience on destination loyalty. This research carried out an analysis regarding how each variable has an influence, is related, and has a positive impact on each other. This research took samples from people who had visited the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village. One hundred and seventy people were surveyed using non-probability sampling techniques. The research results show that destination image, service quality and experience have a significant positive influence on destination loyalty. Therefore, so that the goal of destination loyalty can continue to be achieved, the Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Tourism Village needs to be maintained and preserved

    Strategy for the development of Dermaji Village Tourism: Building Competitiveness in Rural Tourism in the Post-Pandemic Era

    This research aims to identify the tourism potential and formulate competitive rural tourism development strategies in Dermaji Village, Lumbir District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using an exploratory case study. Primary data were obtained through in-depth field observations and interviews with key informants, while secondary data were sourced from literature reviews and documentation. The research utilized the analysis of 11 tourism components, modified from various experts, CHSE analysis, government work programs, market preferences, and SWOT analysis, including SWOT Matrix. The findings reveal significant potential and 15 main strategies for developing Dermaji Village into a competitive rural tourism destination. The village has already undertaken initiatives such as collaborating with Perum Perhutani and local community efforts to create unique rural tourism destinations. Active and adaptive strategies are required to develop Dermaji Village into a competitive rural tourism destination with unique offerings in Banyumas Regency, considering both micro and macro perspectives

    The Influence of Location, Price, Promotion, and Laundry Fragrance on the Decision to Use Laundry Services in Makassar

    This study aims to analyze the effect of location, price, promotion, and laundry perfume aroma partially and simultaneously on decisions to use laundry services in Makassar. Data were collected through a survey of 165 laundry customers in Makassar. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that location and promotion have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services while price and laundry perfume aroma have a negative and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services. The closer or easier the location of the laundry to the customer's residence, the cheaper the price offered, and the more intensive the promotion carried out, the more likely the customer is to use laundry services. The smell of laundry perfume that does not follow the tastes of laundry consumers will result in a decrease in the decision to use laundry services by consumers. Simultaneously, the variables of location, price, promotion, and laundry perfume aroma have a simultaneous and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for entrepreneurs or managers of laundry businesses to pay attention to business locations, prices offered, promotions carried out, and the aroma of laundry perfume used to increase the number of laundry customers

    Exploring the Ecotourism Potential of Tapalinna and Bujung Manurung Villages: Balancing Nature, Culture, and Sustainability

    The village ecotourism planning in Tapalinna and Bujung Manurung Villages, Mambi Sub-district, Mamasa District, West Sulawesi Province was conducted to identify natural and cultural resources, as well as assess community readiness for managing these resources. The methods used included observation, the distribution of questionnaires to 30 respondents from the community, visitors, and managers, as well as the design of tourism programs and promotional media. The findings reveal that Tapalinna and Bujung Manurung Villages possess various cultural tourism potentials, including the Mambi language, religious systems, kinship systems, and local arts. Additionally, the villages have diverse natural tourism resources, such as flora and fauna. The community and managers showed positive perceptions and readiness toward the ecotourism planning, with a high level of preparedness. The designed tourism programs include daily, overnight, and annual tours, supported by promotional media in the form of posters themed "One Taste of Harmonization." This initiative is expected to encourage community participation and enhance the sustainable attractiveness of the region

    Human resources have an important role in the development of a country. Improving the quality of human resources as a development investment is very much needed, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia, where human resources are still lacking in terms of quality and productivity. To be able to overcome the problem of lack of quality and productivity of human resources in developing countries such as Indonesia. So it is necessary to understand ways to improve the quality of human resources through education, health, employment and migration. The quality of Human Resources (HR) is an absolute requitment for carrying out development. In this study, the authors used qualitative research methods to find out the sources of data related to the management of Human Resources at the Jolotundo Umbul Baths, namely through interviews with the managers of the Umbul Baths, the Tourism Office and the surrounding community. The condition of human resources at the Jolotundo Umbul Baths is considered to tbe lacking, aspecially in the tourism sector, so that tourism human resource management is needed to improve the economy of the community around the Jolotundo Umbul Bath

    Analysis of the Influence of Attraction on Interest in Visiting the Indonesia Science Center, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

    The Indonesia Science Center is located inside Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in East Jakarta, serves as an interactive science exhibition venue. It offers various exhibits designed to enhance knowledge and understanding of science. This research aims to assess the extent to which attractiveness influences the interest in visiting the Indonesia Science Center at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. This study adopts a quantitative research methodology, incorporating multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing through t-tests and f-tests, and determination coefficient tests, all conducted using SPSS software. The sample comprises 100 respondents, including both individuals who have visited and those who have not visited the Indonesia Science Center at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta. The research findings indicate that the overall mean score for variable X (Attractiveness) is 4.10, while the overall mean score for variable Y (Interest in Visiting) is 4.11. The t-test results show a significance value of less than 0.001, which is below the 0.05 threshold, indicating that variable X (Attractiveness) significantly affects variable Y (Interest in Visiting). The coefficient of determination (r²) is calculated to be 0.688, suggesting that 68.8% of the variance in variable Y is explained by variable X

    Analysis of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) Sustainability in Karedok Tourism Village, Jatigede District, Sumedang Regency

    Community-based tourism is seen as an alternative approach to tourist development due to its emphasis on the active participation of local communities and their potential contribution to its growth. The development of tourist villages is the manifestation of this concept, where local communities can effectively harness the natural resources, cultural assets, and human resources for the benefit of tourists, with the aim of positively impacting the community's economy. Karedok Village in Sumedang Regency has many tourism potentials, although the local community and village government have not effectively taken advantage of these potentials, resulting in a lack of economic benefits from the tourism context. This research tries to evaluate the extent to which the principles of sustainability in Community-based tourism have been implemented in the management of the Karedok Tourism Village. It will examine the five key principles of sustainability, namely economic, social, cultural, environmental, and political sustainability, using a descriptive-qualitative methods. The analysis findings indicate that the implementation of environmental and cultural sustainability principles has been successful. However, the principles of economic, social, and political sustainability have not been effectively implemented. This is reflected from the limited community participation, which impacts the progress of the sustainable tourism development
