Membangun Imajinasi Wisatawan melalui Pengalaman Perjalanan di Kawasan Wisata Warisan Budaya
Full text linkThis research aims to build the imagination of tourists through travel experiences in the cultural heritage tourism area. The author analyzes the imagination gained by tourists using seven factors: lodging and dining facilities, internal accessibility, nearby attractions, external accessibility, safety and emergency systems, on-site attractions and the provision of information services. Data collection by observation, interview, FGD, documentation, and literature study through descriptive qualitative data analysis. The results showed that the myth of the bathing pool was the most dominant in building the imagination of tourists and became the main reason for tourists visiting Tamansari. Generally, tourists can imagine the myths conveyed by tour guides and tend to portray Tamansari as a beautiful place in the past. Travel experiences gained by tourists during a tour in Tamansari are myths, history, and activities at the location. Despite three decades of discussing pathways to sustainable tourism,tourism authorities worldwide has continued to promote tourism growth despite the ecologicaland social limits of living on a finite planet. Looking to it’s case to an island destination inIndonesia overtourism and tourism leakage are two major problems the industry arefacing. Therefore this article argues that tourism must be understood and managed with awider context of sustainability. Additionally, strategic approaches to transitioning to asufficiency approach to tourism and leisure is essential if sustainability is to be secured.Recommendations include Sustainable Mobilities, fostering diverse approaches to tourismstrategies for development and regulating and managing tourism. Full text linkaccording to a study conducted by Master Card and Cresent Rating, in the Global Muslim Travel Index (GMTI), that in 2014 there were 108 million Muslim tourists representing 10 per cent of the entire tourism industry. Therefore it is very important that Yogyakarta starts to prepare sharia tourism packages or halal tourism packages. Sharia tourism can be prepared by referring to or referring to the MUI fatwa that has been issued as a guideline for the community to understand the understanding and management of halal tourism or sharia tourism. This study will use a descriptive methodology, which describes the object through observation and literature search that is relevant to the object of the study. The process of paying supplier bills for obstacles includes suppliers being late in exchanging receipts, purchasing and receiving late submitting documents and not being complete, sending late memos and late overbooking processes. Full text linkLembaga pendidikan pariwisata dan industri jasa pariwisata adalah dua institusi yang seharusnya selalu terkait dan saling butuhkan satu sama lain, yang seharusnya terus menerus saling berkomunikasi mengenai tenaga kerja, dimana dunia pendidikan menyiapkan tenaga kerja sesuai dengan kualifikasi dunia industri, dan dunia industri seharusnya terus menenrus memberikan sinyal kepada dunia pendidikan mengenai kualifikasi yang dibutuhkan. Berangkat dari situasi diatas, tulisan ini dapat dijadilkan langkah awal sebagai pra penelitian untuk mengetahui kebutuhan masing-masing antara dunia industri pariwisata dan lembaga pendidikan pariwisata, dimana penelitian ini akan mengupas mengenai persepsi dan sikap komite eksekutif hotel terhadap lulusan pariwisata, dengan mencoba merumuskan pola, recruitment, karir, kualifikasi pekerja profesional, melalui pola proporsi yang diteruskan dengan membangun model konstruksi persepsi dan sikap komite eksekutif hotel yang diwakili oleh komite eksekutif Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort and Spa. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Lulusan Sekolah Pariwisata menjadi kualifikasi utama dalam perekrutan dengan tetap memperhatikan dan mempertimbangkan pengalama
