Local Community Based Tourism Village Development Strategy in Buluh Awar Tourism Village Deli Serdang District
Buluh Awar Tourist Village is one of the tourist villages that were established by Bupati Deli Serdang on SK Bupati in 2022 and 2023 managed to obtain the nomination of the 300 Great Anugerah Village Tourism of Indonesia after attending the contest of Adwi 2023. The village of Buluh Awar is known for its cultural tourism and is the zero entry point of Christianity into the Karo land. The village is located in the Sibolangit district of Deli Serdang. The purpose of writing this thesis is to describe the tourist destination components that exist in Buluh Awar Village, to identify the level of irritation of the local community to the development of tourism in the Buluh Tourism Village, then identify local community participation in tourism development in the village of Buluh aware as well as to design a strategy of development of the village tourism based on the local community in the tourism village. To meet these objectives qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis using Buhalis's theory, 2000 on the component of Tourist Destinations, Doxey Irridex's theory (1975) on the level of public irritation to the development of tourism, then Tosun's theory (1999) related to the rate of participation of tourists. Based on the results of the analysis, found the tourist destination component in Buluh Awar Tourist Village that most requires attention is the component amenity and ancillary service, and the level of irritation of the community after being analyzed is in the position of Euforia, whereas for the rate of participation of its community is passive participation. Related recommendations for the involvement of local communities can be more active by forming tourism communities such as Pokdarwis as a container for communities to accommodate ideas or ideas related to tourism development and engage communities actively in tourism activities under strategy 1). Identify Local Champion. 2). Make a memorandum of understanding about the distribution of roles and functions of stakeholders. 3). Strengthening the capacity of the community. 4). The Influence of Business Ethics of Business Actors and Tourist Satisfaction on Revisit Decisions Mediated by Tourist Preferences in Malioboro, Yogyakarta in the New Normal Era
The application of the New Normal during the pandemic is very influential on the tourism sector, especially in Malioboro Yogyakarta. This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of Ethical Business Conducted and Tourist Satisfaction to decision of revisit in the Mediation of Tourists Preference at Malioboro Yogyakarta In the Era of the New Normal. This research used quantitative methods. The sample of this study which 100 tourists at Malioboro. Was taken by accidental sampling technique. The data were the analyzed by using a Multiple Linier Regresion Equation and sobel Test. The research concludes that : Ethical business conducted was positively and significantly influence on Tourist Preference, Tourist Statification was positively and significantly influence on Tourist Preference, Ethical business conducted was positively and significantly influence on the decision of revisit, Tourist Statification was positively and significantly influence on the decision of revisit, Tourist Preference was positively and significantly influence on the decision of revisit, Tourist Preference has no mediation to impact Ethical business conducted on the decision of revisit, Tourist Preference has no mediation to impact Tourist Statification on the decision of revisit
The Influence of Panda Kid’s Club Activities on Repeat Visit Intentions at Holiday Inn Resort, Batam City
This study evaluates the impact of activities and facilities at Panda Kid’s Club at Holiday Inn Resort Batam City, on guests' intention to return. The research questions identified are how activities at Panda Kid’s Club influence guests' intention to return and how the provided facilities contribute to this effect. The main objectives of this research are to determine the impact of Panda Kid’s Club activities on return intentions and how its facilities affect them. The quantitative method is based on the approach described by (John W. Creswell, 2017) to measure quantitative data objectively through surveys. This study uses the SPSS version 23 application to process the research survey data. The results of the analysis indicate a positive impact of creative and educational activities and good and safe facilities on guests' intention to return. The conclusion of this study confirms that activities at Panda Kid’s Club significantly influence guests' intention to return. Recommendations for future research include expanding the scope by incorporating additional independent variables to gain a more comprehensive understanding of factors affecting return intentions
Event Concept Planning Based on Marine Tourism in Mallasoro Village, Jeneponto Regency
This study aims to identify the potential of marine tourism and design an event concept that can enhance the welfare of the local community in Mallasoro Village, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) assessed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats involved in developing the event concept. The analysis reveals that Mallasoro Village has significant strengths, including natural beauty, a strong local culture, and community support. However, challenges were identified, such as inadequate infrastructure and limited tourism promotion. Opportunities include the growing interest in marine tourism and regional government support through policies and capacity-building programs. Threats, such as climate change affecting beach and ocean conditions and competition with other destinations in South Sulawesi, must be anticipated. With proper planning, Mallasoro Village has the potential to become a leading marine tourism destination by developing Leisure Events and Cultural Events that incorporate diverse attractions and innovative programs, including sports, tours, education, workshops, exhibitions, culinary festivals, and sustainable marine conservation activities. These efforts can increase tourist visits while strengthening environmental awareness
A Halal Tourism in Indonesia - Case Study in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara
The present study aims to conduct implementation of halal tourism in Lombok, as the best halal tourism destination in Indonesia. The topic that will be presented through interactive data analysis until the data is saturated is about Halal tourism institutional, Community empowerment, Community participation, Marketing, Halal tourism investment development and Penalties for violating the provisions of halal certification. A semi-structured interview approach to key informants. The results show that the implementation and development of halal tourism on the island of Lombok is still in its early stages. Indonesia has an organization that guides Islamic economic and financial law for halal tourism fatwas and halal certification. The local government and Indonesian clerical organizations have worked together to achieve halal tourism in Lombok. Efforts to create a halal tourism brand have not materialized due to natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic. It is expected that the causal chain frameworks developed in this study will provide a research roadmap for academics as well as insights for the government and the tourism industry in developing a halal tourism model in Indonesia
Development of Specialization Selection on The Job Training for Human Resources in The Hospitality Industry through E-OJTKU
The previous problem in this research was exploring the potential of students in choosing departments in hotels, namely front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage to carry out internships. The need for this selection recommendation is based not only on student desires or the availability of opportunities to learn to work in the existing hotel industry but also based on recommended grades from semesters 1 to 3 which fulfill the requirements for industrial internships. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document study. Interviews use a semi-structured model so that answers are open-ended and can be developed for in-depth analysis. E-ojtku is an innovation resulting from research based website and android to improve the competency of Hospitality Management students who received recognition for 40 credits for OJT 1 and OJT 2 (1 year in industry / Hotels) for a career in Hotels. The test results using e-ojtku obtained good results with an accuracy of up to 94.44% with a ratio of 80% training data and 20% test data, the ratio of the amount of training data can affect the accuracy of the values in each experiment
Efektivitas Pelaksanaan Peraturan Daerah Kabupaten Sumedang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 Tentang Desa Wisata di Desa Karedok Kecamatan Jatigede Kabupaten Sumedang
The development of tourist villages in Indonesia is currently showing quite a significant increase. The government has a role in establishing policies and regulations used as a guide for the development of tourism villages. Karedok Village is a tourist destination located in Jatigede District, Sumedang Regency. In 2023, the regional government of Sumedang Regency enacted regional rule Number 1 of 2023 regarding Tourism Villages to serve as a guideline for managing tourism villages. This research intends to evaluate the efficacy of applying these Regional Regulations in Karedok Village. The research methodology used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The discussion results indicate that the regulations in Karedok Village have not been implemented effectively. Causes include lack of collaboration among village institutions, limited community participation, ineffective tourism promotion, and lack of facilities and infrastructure. By establishing a solid and effective Tourism Village management, the purpose is to boost economic growth and achieve sustainable, community-based tourism in Karedok Village

The aim of the research is how to analyze the environment at Wisma Arimbi and what strategies to increase competitiveness at Wisma Arimbi Yogyakarta. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This writing aims to reveal facts, circumstances, phenomena, variables, and circumstances that occurred while the writing took place and present it as it is. From the results of the discussion, looking at the company's strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities, a strategy can be obtained that can be implemented at Wisma Arimbi, namely an intensive competitive strategy with market penetration. With this strategy, Wisma Arimbi is expected to increase sales and income level
Evaluation Analysis of Environmentally Based Sustainable Management at Dago Dreampark Bandung
This research aims to analyze the environmental management of destinations carried out at Dago Dreampark so that tourist destinations remain maintained and protected. Evaluation of sustainable management carried out regularly is needed so that factors can always be monitored that can cause a decline in the natural environment and natural resources owned by tourist destinations, along with planning & monitoring efforts made to overcome these factors. The method that will be used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection will be carried out using the tourist destination photo/video documentation method, direct observation of the sustainable development of the Dago Dreampark Bandung, and using the direct interview method with the Tourism Destination Management. The results of this research reveal the applications used by Dago Dreampark in managing destinations sustainably, starting from waste management, air and water management, and also managing nature conservation at Dago Dreampark. This research provides knowledge about the effectiveness of sustainable management applied to tourist destinations
Leadership Rooted in Community-Based Local Wisdom Values
Leadership in tourism villages that implement community-based tourism governance presents distinct challenges compared to company leadership. Tourism village leaders often encounter complex socio-cultural issues and conflicts, so leadership strategies and approaches are required to align with the local community's character and values. The research focuses on applying leadership that prioritizes local wisdom in community-based tourism management in tourism villages. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing a grounded theory approach. The approach is used to dig the data from nine informants or participants. The participants in this research include heads of tourism villages who have successfully managed their villages for more than five years. The research results indicate that: (1) leadership based on local community wisdom values is a key element in ensuring the successful management and development of tourism villages. Effective leaders can mobilize and motivate the community, shift the mindsets, accommodate the volunteers, and optimize the community's social role. This leadership fosters a sustainable tourism village, positively impacting the economy and community welfare. (2) An inclusive, participative and deliberation-oriented approach becomes the leadership characteristic which prioritizes local wisdom values. This approach unites the community's vision and mission, listens to and accommodates aspirations, makes decisions democratically, and organizes active community participation effectively. (3) The success of leadership based on local wisdom values is measured not only by financial achievements but also by the ability to enhance community happiness, preserve the environment, ensure active community participation, and achieve predetermined goals. (4)The leadership model which prioritizes local wisdom values reflects a holistic and sustainable approach in tourism management. Local values and community participation are considered as the key success factors. This leadership illustrates the commitment to maintaining the local identity while creating sustainable benefits for the community and the surrounding environment
