Memory in schools as a pedagogical and research strategy
Get PDFThis research article shows the results of a classroom experience in which the school becomes a stage for the reconstruction of the memory and history of Colombia, bringing students closer to the traces of the armed conflict, not so much from the master class and the consultation of specialized texts, but going to the living memory of the peoples, present in the older adults of society. This helped us establish communication and links between these vernacular stories of history and those built in the academy, as well as involving the different members of the educational community around issues such as oppression, contempt and violence. The results of this research experience in the school result in the participation of students throughout the process of formulating the project, presenting it to the educational institution and parents, learning activities, class forums, conducting and transcribing the interviews and the commitment to writing and artistic appreciation. The most important effect of this participation and orientation was not only to approach the phenomena derived from war, human rights and the State, from the specialized texts and official versions of history, but also from the memory of the people, of the community. Knowing the history and recognizing the memory of that history in the family and neighbors of the community led us on a path in which it is possible to contribute to the construction of peace and education in Colombia
Reading and writing accompaniment for future preschool teachers
Get PDFThis document presents the systematization results of the accompaniment to the reading and writing processes of 21 undergraduate students of the Early Childhood Education program at UNAB University. The work consisted in the implementation of didactic sequences to elaborate reading cards, infographics, summaries and reviews. The pedagogical actions were evaluated based on the analysis of the teacher's field diary records, the products elaborated by the undergraduate students and the results of a survey on their learning. It was concluded that the participants showed signs of reading and writing as epistemic processes
Brain gymnastics as pedagogical mediation to improve the reading aloud of a class of second grade students at “La Cumbre” Technical Institute
Get PDFLa presente investigación se enmarca en el paradigma cualitativo, la cual se caracteriza por estudiar la realidad de los 28 estudiantes de Segundo-seis del Instituto Técnico la Cumbre del municipio de Floridablanca-Santander, en donde a través de la investigación-acción se asume un papel activo para mejorar la lectura en voz alta.
Se establece como objetivo general fortalecer los procesos de lectura en voz alta a partir de siete talleres pedagógicos basados en ejercicios de gimnasia cerebral centrados en mejorar la fluidez, pronunciación, entonación y volumen de voz. Cuenta con la observación participativa, rúbricas de evaluación, registros audiovisuales y diarios de campo.
Como resultado se observa que, para el fortalecimiento de los procesos de lectura en voz alta, es importante que se creen espacios en el aula de clase en donde se estimule la oralidad, se fomente el respeto y la actitud de escucha. Además, se reconoce que el acto de leer en voz alta debe ser considerado como una oportunidad para llevar a los niños a cambiar su aprendizaje y mejorar las dificultades académicas, en donde se desarrolle una conexión integral entre la comunicación corporal y el lenguaje. Una de las principales conclusiones es que, dentro del aprendizaje de la lengua, es ideal que los docentes y estudiantes entiendan que aprender a leer en voz alta es un proceso. En otras palabras, es fundamental que se vaya paso a paso y que se tengan en cuenta las distintas habilidades que comprende leer en público.
Finalmente, el estudio evidencia una respuesta positiva por parte de la implementación de la gimnasia cerebral, puesto que los niños potencian sus habilidades comunicativas y fortalecen las relaciones intra e interpersonales. Así mismo, permite que el docente brinde el acompañamiento constante, asociado a la reflexión, flexibilidad, respeto y empatía reconociendo que se pueden equivocar y que estos errores se deben solucionar con calma, con el fin de mejorar los procesos en cuanto a la entonación, fluidez, volumen de voz y pronunciación, ya que no, solo se trata de leer en voz alta, sino de enseñar a los niños a leer en voz alta.The present research is framed within the qualitative paradigm, which is characterized by studying the reality of a class of 28 second-grade students at “La Cumbre” Technical Institute in the municipality of Floridablanca (Santander) where, through action-research, an active role is assumed to improve reading aloud.
The general objective is to strengthen the processes of reading aloud from seven pedagogical workshops based on brain gymnastics exercises focused on improving fluency, pronunciation, intonation and voice volume. It includes participatory observation, evaluation rubrics, audiovisual records and a field diary.
As a result, it can be seen that, in order to strengthen the processes of reading aloud, it is important to create spaces in the classroom where orality is stimulated, respect is encouraged and a listening attitude is developed. In addition, it is recognized that the act of reading aloud should be considered as an opportunity to lead children to change their learning and improve academic difficulties, where an integral connection between body communication and language is developed. One of the main conclusions is that, within language learning, it is ideal that teachers and students understand that learning to read aloud is a process. In other words, it is essential to go step by step and to take into account the different skills involved in reading in public.
Finally, the study shows a positive response from the implementation of brain gymnastics, since children enhance their communication skills and strengthen intra-personal and interpersonal relationships. Likewise, it allows the teacher to provide constant accompaniment, associated with reflection, flexibility, respect and empathy, recognizing that mistakes can be made and that these errors must be solved calmly, in order to improve the processes in terms of intonation, fluency, voice volume and pronunciation, since it is not only about reading aloud, but also about teaching children to read aloud

Estas situaciones serán vistas desde dos elementos: La debida diligencia como obligación reforzada en materia de derechos humanos y, los derechos a las garantías judiciales y a la protección judicial de las mujeres. Se pretende demostrar que al adoptar medidas de debida diligencia, estas permitan proteger los derechos a las garantías judiciales y la protección judicial de las mujeres en contextos de violencia, especialmente, en aquellos casos de violencia sexual donde se torna más complejo su acceso a la justicia
Comercio intraindustrial de Santander con los países de la Alianza del Pacífico
Get PDFIntraindustry trade is the two-way trade flow between two regions within the same industrial activity. Intratraindustry trade serves to identify the complementarity and competition between two exportable offers. To measure of the level of intrindustry trade of department of Santander, Colombia with Alliance Pacific’s countries, Grubel y Lloyd index was used. It is calculated with information about exports and imports of each country at 4-digit code or heading between 2013-2018 and based on the value of the index, a categorization is used to assess level of significance of intraindustry trade of each heading. In this study were included 112 heading considered relevant for the exported value. Intraindustry trade of Santander with the Alliance Pacific’s countries is found in 22,3% of these items. IGL reflects a high relevance in a heading, medium relevance in 3, in both items with Mexico. In the other headings there are low relevance of intraindustry trade.El comercio intraindustrial es el flujo comercial en doble vía entre dos regiones dentro de una misma actividad industrial; identifica la complementariedad y competencia entre dos ofertas exportables. El trabajo determina el nivel del comercio intraindustrial del departamento de Santander, Colombia, con los países de la Alianza del Pacífico; para ello se hace el cálculo del índice de Grubel y Lloyd con una desagregación a 4 dígitos para partidas arancelarias entre los años 2013 - 2018 y se hace una valoración del nivel de dicho intercambio. Se incluyeron 112 partidas arancelarias consideradas relevantes por el valor exportado. Se encuentra comercio intraindustrial de Santander con los países de la Alianza en 22,3% de dichas partidas. Solo se presenta alta relevancia en una partida y relevancia media en 3, en ambos casos con México; en las demás partidas arancelarias donde se presenta comercio en doble vía el nivel es bajo
Reacciones de la economía colombiana a choques en los precios del petróleo (2009-2018): un enfoque SVAR
Get PDFThis paper pursues the general objective of quantifying and analyzing the responses of economic growth, inflation and the real exchange rate due to shocks in oil prices for Colombia in (2009-2018). Through a structural VAR, and in the theoretical support of a set of restrictions on the performance of the economy of the country, the different impulse response functions that allow to elucidate the serial reaction of the economy towards the oil sector through quantitative shocks are quantified Brend international oil price. The results show that oil prices affect economic growth and the real exchange rate in the analysis period, but their effects are greater on the exchange rate than on the growth that, in accordance with the national literature, is very low. In a context of limited oil reserves, the results of the article provide information regarding alternative strategies for such impacts to be replaced by other sectors of the economy, as well as assess the trade-off between the environmental impact and the economic growth that It could generate strategies like Frakcing.El presente trabajo tiene el objetivo de cuantificar y analizar las respuestas del crecimiento económico, la inflación y el tipo de cambio real ante choques en los precios del petróleo para Colombia en el periodo 2009-2018. Por medio de un VAR estructural, y en el soporte teórico de un conjunto de restricciones sobre el desempeño de la economía del país, se cuantifican las distintas funciones ‘impulso-respuesta’ que permiten dilucidar la reacción serial de la economía hacia el sector petrolero mediante choques en la cotización internacional Brent del petróleo. Los resultados muestran que los precios del petróleo afectan al crecimiento económico y al tipo de cambio real en el periodo de análisis, pero sus efectos son mayores sobre el tipo de cambio que sobre el crecimiento, que en concordancia con la literatura nacional se encuentra muy bajo. En un contexto de limitadas reservas de petróleo, los resultados del artículo proveen de información respecto a estrategias alternativas para que dichos impactos sean sustituidos por otros sectores de la economía, así como evaluar el trade-off existente entre el impacto ambiental y el crecimiento económico que podría generar estrategias como el fracking
La ética magisterial disidente en la educación contemporánea
Get PDFThis article presents partial results of the research carried out within the doctoral program of Educational Development of the National Pedagogical University in Morelia, Mexico. The object of the text is about the ethics of dissident teachers; however, magisterial ethics in general is also addressed. Through a hermeneutical approach, in the first section the current characteristics of education are developed to place the conventional conception of the teacher, his/her knowledge and his/her ethical notions in positions that are antagonistic (unrestricted compliance with educational policy and commitment for influencing social transformation). Ethics is also discussed within social movements, clarifying the genesis of ethical values in their constitution, the fluctuations that these values suffer and the possibilities of dissolution of the movement, in addition to elucidating the most outstanding values in social movements. The construction of the ethical profile of teachers and union activists is presented through proposals related to teacher training and ethical concepts in the alternative training of dissident teachers. The last section explains how alternative pedagogies influence the shaping of an ethic and its impact on social transformation projects. In conclusion, teaching ethics is debated between the teacher’s conception as a reproducer and the one who organizes to make claims together with social justice projects that turn him/her into a different ethical being.En este artículo se presentan resultados parciales de la investigación realizada dentro del programa doctoral de Desarrollo Educativo de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional en Morelia, México. El objeto del texto versa sobre la ética de los maestros disidentes, no obstante, también se aborda la ética magisterial en general. A través de un enfoque hermenéutico, en el primer apartado se desarrollan las características actuales de la educación para situar la concepción convencional del profesor, sus saberes y las nociones éticas de este en posiciones que resultan antagónicas (cumplimiento irrestricto de la política educativa y el compromiso por incidir en la transformación social). La ética también se discute en el interior de los movimientos sociales, al esclarecer la génesis de los valores éticos en su constitución, las fluctuaciones que sufren dichos valores y las posibilidades de disolución del movimiento, además de que se dilucidan los valores más sobresalientes en los movimientos sociales. La construcción del perfil ético del profesorado y del militante sindical se presenta a través de las propuestas vinculadas a la formación de profesores y de las concepciones éticas en la formación alternativa de los maestros disidentes. El último apartado explica cómo las pedagogías alternativas influyen en la conformación de una ética y su repercusión en los proyectos sociales de transformación. La ética magisterial planteada, en conclusión, se debate entre la concepción del profesor como reproductor y entre aquel que se organiza para demandar sus reivindicaciones, junto con proyectos de justicia social que le configuran un ser ético distinto
