Use of Impression Evaluation in Group Working of Design Education and Process Analysis
Get PDFデザイン教育では、個人の専門性を高めていくだけでなく、共同でのアイデア創出や協調性を育む手段として、グループワークがしばしば活用されている。しかし、実際のグループワークを取り入れた授業では、学生同士のコミュニケーションや情報共有が難航し、作業が困難なケースが見受けられることもあり、より効果的なグループ生成方法が望まれる。そこで本研究は、デザインに対する感性的側面に注目し、印象評価を用いて学生のデザインに対する感性情報を調査し、クラスター分析を用いてグループ化した。そして、学生同士の感性的な距離の遠近が、グループワークでのインタラクションやアイデア創出に影響を及ぼすかどうかを、①アイデア立案、②デザインの思考と試作、③完成に向けてのブラッシュアップ、の 3 つの段階に分けて検討した。その結果、感性の距離が近いグループは、学生間での共通のイメージやモチーフを決めてから描画作業に入るが、感性の遠いグループはあまりアイデアを固めずに描画作業を行っており、グループを構成する学生の感性の距離の差によって、制作プロセスの作業に違いが認められた。さらに、グループの感性の違いが作品に表れているかどうかを、専門家の評価を用いることによって検討した。その結果、感性の遠近によって分類された学生のグループワーク作品は、専門家による印象評価（「ゆるい - ゆるくない」「かわいい - かわいくない」「元気な - 元気でない」の 3 つの印象）を用いることにより、両者の違いがある程度捉えられていることを確認した。departmental bulletin pape

Applying Brainstorming Techniques to EFL Classroom

From the author's teaching experiences at Shohoku College during the academic year 2014-2015, the importance of brainstorming techniques was made evident. The author explored three elements of brainstorming techniques for writing using literaturereviews: lack of awareness, connecting to prior knowledge, and creativity. The literature reviews showed the advantage of using brainstorming techniques in an English composition classroom. In addition to the advantages demonstrated, the techniques are helpful for the development of students' writing and the facilitation of theircreativity. Get PDFS市A 小学校における小1 プロブレム対策すこやかプランの実施は4 年目を迎えた。今年度は大きな変更があった。クラス再編成と担任のローテーションの廃止である。それに伴い、上級生保護者によるサポート期間は1 週間短縮された。それにも拘わらず、サポート終了時期の新入生の生活行動の自立の度合いは前年度までと大きな差はなかった。むしろ、担任教員が固定されることと、クラス変更がないことで、新入生の安定は速やかであった。再編成とローテーションは効果よりも弊害の方が大きかったようである。This was the 3rd report of A Elementary School in S city near the Capital City has applied the Sukoyaka Planto solve the First-grade Problem at A Elementary School in S city. The plan was changed from one applied lastyear. Classmate rearrangement and teacher rotation were discontinued. Term for Pearents' support was a weekshorter than one of last year. At the end of the term the 1st grade students sent elementary school life by theirselves.They adapted faster because of the same teacher and classmates. Coaching students is one of the big duties of teachers who take care of a committee or a club. In this paper, we divide a year into five periods andintroduce how to coach International Exchange Committee (IEC) students in various activities held in each period. We will describe how students develop as mature persons through these activities. A Proposal for the Planning and Development of a "Principles of Education" Class
Get PDFIn my "Principles of Education" class, referencing educational philosophy, I argue how teachers can apply Socrates to education. In general, teachers in charge of this class find it difficult to introduce Socrates because he was a fifth-century B.C. thinker and he is not familiar to students. Teachers tend to conduct classes using contents that students feel are more realistic. However, the accumulated knowledge of Socrates that we can employ is all around us.
