Identifying Hazard and Risk Assessment to Installation of Maintenance Access Platform 1,19 Ton using HIRARC Method
Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) is an important factor that every company should be aware of to prevent work accidents. One of the most common methods used in managing OSHMS is HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control). The method is used in this study with the aim of obtaining potential hazards present on the installation work of the maintenance access platform and the value of the risk. The research procedure is carried out using purposive sampling techniques, with criteria of workers directly involved in the installation of maintenance access platform. A total of 5 respondents consisted of HSE officer, project engineer, rigger and 2 scaffolders. Once the respondent is selected, the questionnaire is created to collect data on the risk value of each respondent. The results found in the study showed that there were 53 potential hazards from 9 jobs and 18 activities. Rancang Bangun Alat Vacum Test Untuk Mendeteksi Kebocoran Pada Hasil Pengelasan Plat
Metode pemeriksaan hasil pengelasan material plat terdiri dari beberapa macam, mulai dari Destructive Test (DT) dan Non Destructive Test (NDT). Dalam paper ini penulis membahas tentang desain dan pembuatan alat yang dapat dipergunakan untuk melakukan pengujian hasil pengelasan yang cukup murah dan hasil yang cukup akurat. Alat ini dapat mendeteksi keberadaan cacat las berupa lubang atau retak dengan metode vacum. Alat ini terdiri dari beberapa bagian yaitu pompa vacum, selang, box vacum dan beberapa alat pelengkap lainnya. Dengan menggunakan alat ini posisi kebocoran atau retak terdeteksi dengan adanya munculnya gelembung-gelembung udara yang muncul pada alur hasil pengelasan ketika dilakukan vacum test. PENGARUH SUDUT PAHAT PADA PENGGURDIAN KOMPOSIT SERAT DAUN NANAS / TERMOPLASTIK PADA PEMBENTUKAN DELAMINASI
This study aims to determine the effect of the Gurdi tool angle on delamination in composite laminates in the formation of delaminations. The spacing of the selected reinforcing fibers was 2.4 and 6 mm in a composite laminate of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) polymer matrix with reinforcing fibers from pineapple leaves. The method used in composite fabrication is hand lay-up, namely by direct casting on three layers of fiber that has been woven and tied to the sides of the mold. For cutting speed, Vf 72 mm / min, using a chisel with a diameter of 8 mm with a tool angle of 70o and 118o. Delamination was determined using the Feda method. The delamination sections were observed using a digital microscope and then processed using AutoCAD to measure Dmax and Ad. The delamination ratio in the top hole for the tool diameter of 8mm with a 70° angle at the variation of the distance of 2 mm, 4 mm and 6 mm were 1.268, 1.224 and 1.192 for the bottom hole were 1.078, 1.042 and 1.029, respectively. Meanwhile, the ratio of delamination in the upper hole for a tool diameter of 8mm with an angle of 118° at a distance variation of 2mm, 4mm and 6mm were 1.194, 1.194, 1.158 for the bottom hole, respectively, 1.046, 1.042 and 1.038
THE SUBTITLING OF “DEDAP DURHAKA†LEGENDARY VIDEO
The aim of this research is making subtitling of Dedap Durhaka Legendary Video. The method used in this study was descriptive. In subtitling the video, the techniques of translation used in subtitling were word for word, literal and adaptation. The duration of the video was 24 minutes 53 second. There were several processes in making the English subtitle. They are collecting the materials, writing the script of video, translating the video and the last process was inserting the subtitle to video. The result of this study was about subtitling of Dedap Durhaka Lgendary Video. Based on the evaluation result, this subtitle can help to get students interest in learning English and make foreigners know the contents of video by reading the English subtitle
Proposed Knowledge Management System to Improve Corporate Digital Learning Development Project in PT X
Digital learning has become one of the effective methods to improve learners' knowledge and skills, especially in the current digital era that is rapidly developing. PT X, as a digital learning solution provider in Indonesia, sees that optimizing production in corporate digital learning development projects is very necessary at this time. The rapidly changing character of digital business, the complexity of the project process, and the large amount of learning material from clients with various backgrounds in industries require a knowledge management approach to improve it. This research begins by assessing the readiness of knowledge management in PT X using Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Knowledge Management Tools and semi-structured interviews. The implementation of knowledge management is presented in a design to form four organizational enablers and KM initiatives complete with their implementation schedules
The Effect of Leadership, Physical Work Environment, and Work Discipline on the Performance of Production Department Employees at PT Widaya Inti Plasma
The organization is a complex unit that seeks to allocate human resources in full to achieve goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership, physical work environment, and work discipline on the performance of production employees at PT Widaya Inti Plasma. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with the type of explanatory research. This study uses the independent variables namely Leadership, Physical Work Environment, Work Discipline and the dependent variable namely Employee Performance. Withdrawal of samples using probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique. The implementation of this simple random sampling is due to the very large population and the sample taken is a homogeneous population, namely employees of the production division of PT Widaya Inti Plasma. With a margin of error of 10%, it can be seen that the number of respondents set is 70 employees in the production department of PT Widaya Inti Plasma. The results of this study indicate that good leadership carried out by PT Widaya Inti Plasma can improve the performance of production employees at PT Widaya Inti Plasma. Then a comfortable and good physical work environment can improve the performance of production employees at PT Widaya Inti Plasma. As well as the better work discipline for employees, the performance of employees at PT Widaya Inti Plasma will be maximized and meet the targets that have been set
EKSPERIMENTAL PENGARUH UKURAN SARINGAN PADA MESIN PENGHALUS ARANG TEMPURUNG KELAPA TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK BRIKET
This research aims to investigate the effect of mesh size on the coconut shell charcoal grinder machine on the grinding time and the quality of the produced briquettes. We tested different mesh screen sizes to determine the optimal grinding time and their impact on the briquettes' characteristics, including density, compressive strength, and combustion efficiency. The research results show that the sieve size has a significant impact on the grinding time and the quality of the briquettes. A 0.5 mm sieve results in the longest grinding time, while a 1 mm sieve provides the fastest grinding time. The smaller the sieve size, the longer it takes to achieve the desired fineness. Other factors such as compressive strength and combustion still influence the quality of the produced briquettes, even though the 1 mm sieve increases time efficiency. Therefore, we recommend using the 1 mm sieve for time efficiency, but further testing is necessary to ensure optimal briquette quality, particularly in terms of density and combustion efficiency
Implementation and Enhancement of Social Media Marketing Strategy on Batam Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise
MSMEs have an essential economic role and contribute significantly to a country's GDP. Over time technology can be used to promote MSMEs by using social media for digital marketing. This study uses De'Sate as its object and a qualitative descriptive approach as its research method. Visits and interviews were carried out with De'Sate owners to obtain the required data. However, it is known that social media hasn’t been utilized optimally. Therefore, this research aims to maximize its digital marketing. Based on the research results, it is known that the business risks are limited employees and less extensive areas. In addition, this study also made changes to the logo, as the font used in the previous logo was less attractive. Next, changes are made to the menu, Instagram feeds and landing page, Google Business, WhatsApp Business catalog and description, auto greeting, quick reply, and away messages on WhatsApp and Facebook Page. A month after the changes, Pak Suryadi was satisfied with the content, and based on the insight of Instagram, performance link, and Google Business, it is known that De'Sate's social media is visited by many users, so it can be concluded that these MSMEs are becoming better known than before
The Effect of Non-Physical Work Environment and Work Productivity on Employee Performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City
The purpose of this study was to determine the description of non-physical work environment, work productivity, and employee performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City, to determine the effect of non-physical work environment on employee performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City, and to determine the effect of work productivity on employee performance at Mr. DIY Sukabumi City. The phenomenon that occurs in the performance of employees of Mr. DIY Sukabumi City is lacking in terms of employee work quality, namely the lack of employee ability in work. This problem is caused by one of the dimensions in the nonphysical work environment, namely leader attention and support. In this case, the leader does not give appreciation to the work of employees. Another cause is the ability which is one of the factors in work productivity, namely the lack of employee skills so that it cannot improve work efficiency and effectiveness. In this case, employees do not have sufficient knowledge about the products sold at Mr. DIY so that it affects employees in making sales. The methods used in this research are descriptive research methods and associative research methods with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used by researchers is a saturated sample technique, which is a total of 30 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis which includes the coefficient of determination, multiple correlation coefficients and partial tests (t test). The results showed that partially the non-physical work environment affects employee performance. Work productivity affects employee performance. The contribution of the influence of non-physical work environment variables and work productivity on employee performance is 76.3%. While the remaining 23.7% is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or variables not examined
